So we've come this far. I still have to say, I'm very happy with how this story has progressed as we get closer to May. By the end of this month, we'll likely be 20 chapters away from being fully caught up. By then, I'll have a plan established for how frequently chapters will come going forward.

Another thing I'd like to add is that once we do hit that threshold, please be patient. Chapter updates will come, but they won't be as frequent as they are now. Thanks in advance for your support on this. I promise that we'll have a lot of content in Season 3 and beyond.

But for now, it's time to get to the last big battle of this arc before we close it out.

"This was quite the bold proposal, Drakken..." the mysterious voice of the villain lurking the shadows admitted as he watched the security footage of Izuku striking Müller in the face and sending him sliding back. Beside him was the Oracion Seis villain, who folded over his arms over his chest.

"I'd say it works in both of our favors," he noted with a grin, "Two birds with one stone to figure out just what our little pair here's capable of..." he mentioned as he watched Rebecca catch Shiki in her arms.

"You're interested in the girl?" the mystery villain inquired curiously.

"Yeah..." Drakken confirmed in response, "That Quirk she has apparently isn't what it seems, especially after the things I've heard from my guys..." he added, recalling what he had learned, "I got a theory about it..." he pointed out, "And hopefully, it's confirmed here," he finished.

"Well... we may not have much time to see that theory through..." his colleague noted aloud, "Heroes like Mirko and Eraser will be able to find their way to the good doctor soon..." he pointed out.

"And Hermit's on the move, too..." Drakken mentioned with a frustrated scoff, followed by letting off a small smile, "Guess we just gotta make the most of this..." he concluded, earning himself a grin from the mystery villain seated beside him in the dark room.

"Rebecca! Izuku!" Shiki exclaimed in surprise as he was still in the former's arms.

"What are you two doing here...?" Kamui Woods inquired, struggling to bring himself up from the floor.

"We got separated from our group when the walls started closing off," the freckled teen explained in response as he glared down Müller, keeping his fists clenched, "Rebecca, get them outta here!" he instructed quickly, "I'll hold this guy off and join up with you soon!" he promised as green sparks of electricity crackled around him.

"Got it!" his best friend responded, having her wing-like markings at her ankles glow brightly as she picked up the immobile Shiki, slinging his left arm over her shoulders.

"I'm afraid you won't be able to save any of them, heroes..." Müller remarked, holding his blade tightly in his left hand before lunging toward Kamui Woods, "LET'S START WITH YOU, ALMIGHTY PRO!" he bellowed in declaration about to pierce him straight through his skull.

"No...!" Izuku gasped out, attempting to leap out and stop him. Unfortunately, it appeared he'd be too late as the mad doctor was primed to kill the Arbor Quirk user. But all of a sudden, a rush of wind blew by, pulling Kamui Woods away just before Müller could hit him.

"What?!" he exclaimed, followed by receiving another punch to his face from his freckled foe. Rebecca and Shiki looked on in awe to see the wind pull both the pro hero and Ibara in, being brought into an orb of swirling air that levitated over Kleene's right palm.

"Hurry!" she called out as green-glowing lines of energy were upon her face.

"Thanks for that!" Izuku yelled with gratitude, "Get somewhere safe!" he insisted as he dashed out at Müller again. He reared his left fist back and struck the mad doctor fiercely in the face once again, making him crash against the wall. Watching from afar, Rebecca gave off a determined expression.

'He'll win this fight... I'm sure of it!' she noted inwardly before heading off alongside Kleene.

"Ergh..." Müller angrily grunted out with gnashed teeth, "This power... is... nothing!" he proclaimed as the fans over where his ears would've been started rotating, "Cooling Ears, full power! Whoooo!" he yelled. Izuku balled his fists and kept his stance ready.

'Attacking his head seems to be the best option for now,' he noted to himself, 'If worse comes to worse, I can launch a full-on Smash and end this...' he added through his thoughts, 'But...' he continued, recalling the instructions he had been given earlier.

FLASHBACK

"A door just opened up!" Rebecca pointed out as she blinked rapidly at the sight of the sudden opening.

"Gran Torino-!"

"Don't even think about it, kid!" the elderly pro on the other side of the wall shouted to his intern, "It's definitely a trap!" he added seriously.

"So we just let 'em stay where they are for Nomu or any other villains to attack?" Setsuna inquired, "Sounds like a bad idea if you ask me..." she admitted with a grimace.

"You kids shouldn't even be in this situation..." Sorahiko said to their surprise, "This might be a big league experience, but it's already demanding way too much of you..." he noted as he balled his hands into trembling fists. Setsuna, Itsuka and Momo all lowered their heads in shame, troubled by the hero's words. Rebecca also felt the same way. But as for Izuku, he clenched his fists tightly.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" a voice suddenly screamed through the doorway that had just opened up. Those on the other side of the wall heard it as well.

"That... sounded like Shiki!" Momo realized, giving off a frightened expression. In that instant, Izuku shot to his feet and dashed forward.

"Gran Torino, I'm sorry!" he apologized in advance as he headed through the doorway.

"Kid?!" the elderly hero yelped out.

"I-Izuku?!" Rebecca stuttered in exclamation.

"If someone's there screaming in pain, then I can't just sit still!" her best friend declared as he kept on going, "I'm going to go save whoever's in trouble!" he vowed, not stopping or hesitating. Hearing those words, something stirred in Rebecca as well. She stood up determinedly.

"I'm coming, too!" she decided, hurrying after him.

"Rebecca?!" Momo yelped from the other side of the wall.

"What if it really is a trap?!" Itsuka inquired, only to receive no response as the two student heroes had apparently left. Gran Torino gritted his teeth out of frustration.

'I'm definitely gonna chew you out for all this, Toshinori...' he vowed inwardly.

END FLASHBACK

'I know they're all worried about me...' Izuku noted to himself as green sparks continued to crackle around his body, 'but a hero's job... is help people in trouble!' he stated through his thoughts, 'That includes heroes who're in trouble!' he added inwardly.

"Hmm?!" Müller hummed out upon seeing his foe's determined expression, "What, you think you can defeat me alone?!" he inquired, growling angrily, "I won't let you, foolish boy!" he declared, making several holographic screens and keyboards appear around himself.

"Ah!" Izuku gasped.

"That's right, you know what this is...!" the mad doctor noted with a wicked sneer, "Hermit Mio's Master Code!" he exclaimed, "With just one command, I can turn Shibuya into a crater!" he proclaimed to his foe's shock, "And when I do that, all the world will see my genius and power!" he added excitedly, "I'll be acclaimed as the greatest-!" A fist striking his face interrupted his remarks as he slid, recoiling from the blow. He shook his head before glaring at Izuku, who lunged at him again.

"I won't let you!" he shouted, "None of the heroes here will!" he vowed on, "We're all fighting to make sure that someone like you can't hurt anyone else!" he mentioned proudly, "That's why... I'll keep on fighting!" he yelled, slamming his fist into the mad doctor's face.

"Agh..." he groaned out.

'This boy's becoming far too troublesome...!' he noted inwardly, 'He's exploited my weakness and is moving around so fast...!' he added through his thoughts, 'It's almost like... All Might...!' he exclaimed to himself. Growling, he had his tendrils shoot out in an attempt to ensnare his foe. He was quick to evade them, leaping above his opponent as he readied his right fist.

"Ten Percent..." he started to bellow, "DETROIT SMMMAAAAASSSSSSSHHHHHHHH!" he roared, slamming his fist down onto his foe's head as he arched forward in a pained yelp. However, his expression changed into a maniacal grin. Izuku noticed, followed by narrowly evading the blade swung his way before landing down and sliding to a stop.

"So that's it, hm?" Müller guessed, causing him to perk up in surprise, "You're trying to be like All Might, right?" he assumed. The freckled teen grimaced, making him chuckle. "No one will ever be as strong or fast as him..." he pointed out, "In fact..." he continued, lunging out at Izuku, "you'd need to be as strong as All Might in order to defeat me!" he proclaimed, swinging his blade out at his foe. The One For All inheritor dodged the blade by ducking, clenching his teeth together in frustration. He didn't want to use his full power, especially with the risk of breaking his bones again.

'If I keep landing hits to his head, he's bound to fall eventually!' he told himself, leaping over the mad doctor once more, readying his left fist. However, Müller seemed to have predicted the move as he swung his blade up. Rebecca returned... just in time to see her best friend get pierced straight through the chest by the cyborg villain, who grinned maniacally. Many emotions flooded the Leaper Quirk user's head in that very moment, remembering the first nightmare she had that predicted Izuku's demise. Tears streaked down her face as the markings at her ankles shined brightly.

"IZUUUUKKKUUUUU!" she screamed out. And at that moment, she opened her eyes to find herself with Shiki's arm slung over her shoulders.

"Rebecca, why'd you stop?" the Satan Gravity Quirk user asked, looking at her in concern. She took a moment to collect her thoughts, realizing that she must've unconsciously used her Reverse the moment she saw Izuku get impaled. And knowing that... she dropped Shiki.

"WAH!" he yelped, hitting the floor on his side.

"Rebecca?!" Kleene exclaimed in surprise, blinking rapidly.

"Sorry, I'll be back soon!" the Leaper Quirk user vowed as she ran on.

'Please don't die, Izuku...!' she begged inwardly as her lips trembled. She arrived at the room just as her best friend had leapt up over his foe, rearing his left fist back. Müller was about to swing his blade up and impale him like the Leaper Quirk user had seen. However, she now had the power to change it. She dashed over and pushed the villainous doctor aside as she slammed into him.

"Wha...?!" he yelped.

"Rebecca?!" Izuku gasped out in a panic. His best friend looked to him desperately.

"Don't hold back, Izuku!" she insisted... right before Müller slashed at her right arm to the freckled teen's shock, hearing her shriek with pain.

"How dare you ruin my fun!" the mad doctor yelled as the Leaper Quirk user fell to the floor, clenching her teeth in agony as she clutched her new cut, "For that, I will-!"

"TEXAAASSSSS..." Izuku started to bellow, getting his attention as he turned and widened his eyes. Rebecca did, too. The moment the One For All inheritor had seen his best friend get hurt, something in him snapped. And he wasn't going to hold back. "SSSSSSSSMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" he exclaimed, slamming his left fist into Müller's cyborg body, shattering it to pieces as his arm spurted out blood, turning a gross reddish purple.

"YEEEAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the mad doctor yelled in agony, with his head bouncing across the floor before he came to a stop upon his face.

"Izuku..." Rebecca uttered out in amazement. At that moment, she heard an explosion go off from a nearby wall. Coming out from it was Katsuki, who carried Hermit upon his back. They widened their eyes at the sight of Izuku and his newly broken left arm standing before them, looming over the metal remains of Müller's cyborg body. Mirko, Eraser, Laguna and Holy also arrived, quite stunned as well. In the end, the One For All inheritor had prevailed... and became the hero of the day.

And that does it! Müller is down, and things are almost done! This was quite the fight to write. And it caps off a very fun original arc to give this series a bit of an edge.

There's going to be more original arcs down the road for sure. For now, this is the only one of Season 2. Up next is the final chapter to this arc, and then it's back to canon! Thanks for reading, everyone!
