A big family gets even bigger
Chapter Seven: The Party
Luan was heading down stairs after waking up one morning in her family's house. However, when she turned to head into the kitchen, she was surprised to see that Bobby Santiago and Aggro Ace were both in the kitchen, the latter enjoying a mug of coffee. Luan soon saw what Bobby and Aggro were looking at; Luna and Sam were both making out with each other, distracting the two boys.
"Do you have to do that this early in the morning, Luna?" Luan spoke up as she walked around Bobby and Aggro to get to the coffee pot.
Luna and Sam broke away from their making out to regard Luan. "Not a morning person, huh?" Luna replied.
"Not until I get some coffee in me," Luan replied, "We still have some Irish Cream flavored creamer, right?"
"Heh heh, sorry but Bobby used the last of it," Luna apologized, "Lori said he could."
"There's still plenty of the Hazelnut creamer that Leni got for if Aggro ever came over like right now," Bobby pointed out, trying to be helpful.
Shrugging, Luan said, "At least it's not the French Vanilla creamer. That's Lori's and she's very much protective of her coffee creamer." Messing with Lori's coffee creamer is almost as bad as messing with Lori's phone; it's best not to risk it.
As Luan poured herself a mug of coffee, she asked Luna, "So Luna, what are Sam and the guys here doing over this early?"
"Dude, everyone's gathered here to talk about the big happenin' party that's gonna go down later tonight at the house of the Captain of the Royal Woods High School football team," Luna explained, "He and a few others are all graduating this year, so he wants to celebrate things with a bang!"
Aggro nodded once in confirmation. "Not only is Logan graduating, but so are a few other guys on the football team. Additionally, myself as well as my twin sister Allison, not to mention Lori, Bobby, and Carol Pingray, are all graduating too."
"Lori and I are going to the party together," Bobby said, "Similarly, Aggro is going with Leni, and Luna and Sam are going together. I don't think Carol or Allison have dates, though."
"Allison is too strong for any guy at school to romance," Aggro said dryly, "That sister of mine could easily have gotten onto the football team were the coach not against the idea of a co-ed team. But then again Allison isn't interested in sports anyway. But still."
Luan was suddenly more awake now, but her coffee played only a partial role in that. "A teen party?" Luan said, sounding alert.
"It's not the kind of party where you can do any of your comedy stuff Lori says you do," Luna pointed out.
"I know, I know," Luan said, "But that's not why I'm interested."
"Then why are you interested?" Bobby asked.
"Do you know how much I'd love it if I got to go to that party?!" Luan began, "To get a taste of what high school is gonna be like before I actually start going to high school? I bet all of the other girls I know at Royal Woods Middle School will be so jealous of me if they hear I went to a high schoolers party! Please guys, you gotta help me get in!"
"I am not so certain if it'd be an appropriate place for you, Luan," Aggro said, "There's more than likely gonna be underaged drinking there, and I suspect that at least one person will be losing their virginity at the party. It is not content that someone who isn't even in high school yet should end up being exposed to. In fact I'm barely comfortable with Luna and Sam going, they're still fifteen."
"Lunes and I have already given our v-cards to each other, Aggro," Sam said, "Also we've both already had beer before, so relax."
Aggro, as well as Bobby, were surprised to hear that. "Umm... well okay then," Bobby said.
Stepping forward, Luan said, "Oh come on! I really would rather not have to wait to go to a high school party like this!"
Luna gave Luan a considering look for a few moments. "...Well you're gonna be in high school next school year anyway," Luna began, "Also you're fairly tall for an eighth grader, I think we can pass you as at least a freshman from out of town if someone asks. Wait, do you at least have a date that you can bring with you to the party?"
"I can ask Benny," Luan said, getting excited that she may be able to go to a high schoolers party, "I bet he'd be as excited to go as I am!"
Seeing that Luna and Sam were both on board with bringing Luan and potentially Benny to the party, Aggro said, "Well at least make sure to keep an eye on them, Luna. It's your idea to let them come, so they'll be your responsibility."
"Bro, are you sure that Lori will be okay with this?" Bobby asked his best friend.
Shrugging, Aggro replied, "It's out of my hands. If Lori has issue with it, she can take it up with Luna and potentially Sam." Luan cheered, a lot more awake now, because there's at least a very good chance that not only will she get to go to a high schoolers party, but she may also be able to bring her crush Benny along as well.
What a way to celebrate leaving Middle School and going on into High School, getting a taste of high school life before actually getting there.
Later that night, a group of teens led by Lori, Carol, and Allison approached a large house where it was clear the party was under way. The others in the group following Lori, Carol, and Allison consisted of Bobby, Aggro, Luna, Sam, Leni, Luan, and Benny. "Aggro literally has a point, Luna," Lori said, "It was your idea to let Luan come, so she and her boyfriend will be your responsibility."
"Relax, relax, Lunes and I got this," Sam said.
Looking to Luan and Benny, Lori said, "Listen, you two. This won't be a party like what you two are used to. This is a party being thrown by high schoolers, a lot of which are going to be graduating from Royal Woods High at the end of this school year. It'll be a bit on the wild side, also there's a very good chance there will be underage drinking."
"Yeah, I'm certain dad will be really mad if he hears I've drunk any alcohol," Luan said.
Jerking a thumb at Allison, Lori went on, "That being said, Allison here will help Luna keep an eye on you and Benny to ensure neither of you drink."
"I'm certain I speak for Luan when I say neither of us intend to drink alcohol," Benny spoke up, "Besides, I'm certain there will be soda to drink." Luan nodded in agreement.
"Well either way, if you two are handed any beer, Allison will take it from you," Lori said.
"To dispose of it?" Luan asked.
"To drink it myself," Allison clarified, "Although I strongly suspect that whatever swill at the party that the hosts try to pass off as good drink will be weak, so I very much highly doubt that I'll get more than mildly buzzed."
Rolling her eyes, Carol said, "Oh yeah, you've already had alcohol, Allison." Luan was suspecting that the Viking heritage deep within Allison's Swedish half was making her resilient to alcohol, letting her drink a fair amount without consequence. Without much further fanfare, Lori and her group proceeded to make their way into the party being hosted by Logan, Captain of the Royal Woods High School football team.
Luan was excited to be getting a taste of high school life early.
...
Inside of the house, Lori and her group were met by the sight of partying already going on. As Lori and her group looked around, they were met up by three fair skinned boys who wore identical football jackets. The lead boy called out to Lori's group, "Yo Carol and friends! Glad to see that you all could make it!"
"Wouldn't miss the party for the world, Logan," Carol replied.
The boy on Logan's left eyed the girls with varying degrees of interest, although he stopped short upon seeing Luna and Leni. "Uhh, I guess the Alverson sisters are with you, Carol?" asked the boy on Logan's left, clearly not amused by the presence of plus sized girls at the party.
"Yes and be nice to Leni and Luna," Carol replied, "Also, Leni is Aggro's date."
Pointing at Luan and Benny, the boy on Logan's right said, "Hang on, these two seem a bit young to be high schoolers."
"They're friends of mine from out of town," Luna said, "They go to a high school in Great Lakes City."
The boy on Logan's right looked at Luan and Benny again for a moment before shrugging. "Well I have seen shorter students than them at Royal Woods High." The group was then allowed into the party proper, with Logan and his friends seeing them off into the party.
Scoffing, the boy on Logan's left said, "Man, why did hot girls like Carol and Lori have to bring hippos like the Alverson sisters? Those fatasses are killing my boner, man."
"Dude, come on," Logan said, "Can't you and the others get your minds out of the gutter for one night?"
"At least Aggro Ace is chill enough to take one for the team by taking one of those hippos for himself, leaving actually hot girls like Carol free," remarked the boy on Logan's right, "Although if that fatass that Aggro is going out with eats all the food then I'm gonna be pissed."
"She ain't gonna do that," Logan scowled. Lightening up a bit, Logan went on, "Although I wouldn't be surprised if Aggro's sister tries drinking all the beer we managed to get for the party."
Luan couldn't believe it! She was actually at a teen party hosted and attended by high schoolers! It made her all the more eager to see what high school was going to be like! She and Benny hung close to where Allison was at near a snack bar, as if the female Ace twin was looking for something she wanted. Luan remembered that she had to be cool and not act up, although she was having a bit of trouble keeping her nerves. She was just so excited, after all.
As Luan and Benny looked around, they were approached by a Royal Woods High School football team member, a mixed race guy, who wore the same kind of jacket as Logan and his friends. The football team member carried two red plastic cups, the kind one can expect to see at a party such as the one they were all at. "Yo, out of towners," the football team member said to Luan and Benny, "I heard you guys go to a high school in Great Lakes City."
Nodding once, Benny said, "Oh yeah, this is actually our first time outside of the city."
The football team member offered Benny the cup in his right hand and Luan the cup in his left. "What's an out of town experience, and at a party no less, without beer? Drink up you two!"
Luan and Benny, both caught off guard, gingerly accepted the beers. However, Luan didn't have her beer for one second before she heard Allison say, "About time the good drink was busted out!" Before she could be stopped, Allison snatched the beer from Luan and chugged it down. A look of suspicious curiosity appeared on Allison's face before she regarded the football team member. "Hey you," Allison said to the football team member.
The football team member looked nervous, as if he were a criminal caught red handed. "Umm, what is it, Ace?"
Holding up the now empty cup she took from Luan, Allison said, "Is this really the best drink at this party? This is weak child's milk!" Allison saw the beer that Benny had, took it from him, chugged it down, then looked back to the football team member. "I've had stronger brew than this!" Allison said, "I'd get a stronger buzz by eating ice cream really fast! Where's the good stuff?"
The football team member was surprised, and a little unsure, about Allison having just chugged two red plastic cups of beer, only to demand stronger drink. It may get in the way of some of what the football team member and some of his fellows... have planned. "Well there is gonna be a drinking contest," said the football team member, "Our linebacker is confident he can drink anyone who has the nerve to challenge him under the table."
"Ha!" Allison laughed, "Thor will survive Jormungandr's poison if that linebacker can best me in a drinking contest! Where is this braggart so that I can make him eat his words?"
The football team member pointed to where a cocoa skinned football team member with long dreadlocks was waiting near a beer keg. "That's him," replied the football team member who was hoping to send Allison away. Maybe enough beers can curb the female Ace twin.
Allison immediately made her way over to accept the linebacker's challenge, leaving Luan and Benny be. "Uh oh, I better warn Troy about Allison," the football team member said before taking off in the direction Allison marched off in.
Alone at the party with Benny, Luan said, "Huh, I guess what Lori said about her friend Allison is true."
"Yeah, the Ace twins are something else," Benny replied, "I even heard that-"
"Hey everyone!" a Hispanic football team member shouted out, "We got us a drinking contest! Someone actually accepted Troy's challenge!"
"Who is it?" a random female voice shouted from the party goers.
"Allison Ace!" the Hispanic football team member shouted back.
There was some laughter from the party goers, with one guy shouting, "Troy's going down so hard!"
A small stampede of party goers rushed to see the drinking contest, although Luan and Benny were met up by the football team member who was standing on Logan's right earlier. "Looks like Logan was right to worry that the beer won't last long if Allison Ace is at the party," the football team member who was standing on Logan's right earlier began, "It's probably worse than letting those two fatasses here, they'll eat all the pizza."
"Hey, I don't think that Luna and Leni will eat all of the pizza," Luan said, a bit defensive of her plus sized soon to be step-sisters.
The football team member turned to look at Luan and Benny, gave Luan in particular an appraising look. "...You're pretty cute for an out of towner," said the football team member talking to Luan, "Wait right here."
After that fair skinned football team member took off, Benny said, "I'm not sure about that guy, Luan. Rudeness towards Luna and Leni aside, he's giving me bad vibes."
"I've been getting bad vibes from most of the football team members at this party," Luan said back to Benny, "Although at least Logan seems okay."
A few moments later, the fair skinned football team member who was talking to Luan and Benny came back, carrying two red plastic cups of beer. "Here, I was able to get some before too much was drunk," said the fair skinned football team member, "By the way, the score when I was over there near the drinking contest was Troy at four cups and Allison at nine."
"She's drank nine beers so far?!" Luan exclaimed; combined with the two Allison snatched from Luan and Benny, that's eleven red plastic cups of beer Allison had consumed. Allison must be doing the Vikings deep in the Swedish half of her heritage proud.
The fair skinned football team member handed the beers he held over to Luan and Benny, giving Luan the left hand cup and Benny the right hand cup. "Come on, out of towners," the fair skinned football team member said, "Drink up or else Allison will probably take them and drink them herself if you dawdle."
"Considering she's at more than double the score of that Troy guy, I think we should so that Allison won't get sick from too much beer," Benny said. Bracing themselves, Luan and Benny both drank their respective beers, both of them gagging a bit.
Arching a wry eyebrow, the fair skinned football team member said, "First time drinking beers?"
"How does Allison put up with it?!" Benny exclaimed.
The drinking contest eventually ended, with Troy at eight beers passed out drunk, and Allison at twenty-seven beers (during just the drinking contest) not even the slightest bit buzzed. "She must be blessed by one of the Norse Gods that she worships," one girl at the party whispered to another.
"Forget Allison being blessed by one of the Norse Gods," the second girl said, "She IS one of the Norse Gods. How else can one explain her drinking so much beer and not suffering any ill effect from all of it?"
As Allison went on to get yet another beer from one of the football team members, Benny and Luan looked on, although Luan looked like she might pass out. Benny, worried for Luan, decided he'd keep an eye on her. "Come on, maybe getting some food into you will help," Benny said as he led Luan over to the food table. He noticed that there was still some pizza left, so he got Luan a slice of the pepperoni pizza on a paper plate.
While Luan and Benny were at the food table, they were met up by Bobby. "Hoo boy, it's a good thing that Lori's our designated driver," Bobby said, "Because there's no way we can allow Allison behind a wheel, even if she's showing no ill effect from drinking."
"Where is Lori?" Benny asked, "Because Luan here ain't looking too hot."
"She went to the bathroom with Carol," Bobby said, "Given what all can happen at a party like this, there's no way the girls are gonna wanna go to the bathroom alone. ...Well, maybe Allison, she brought her one-handed war hammer in case any guys get any ideas."
"Well go find her," Benny said, "I'm going to keep an eye on Luan here." Bobby nodded in agreement before he went to go find Lori. While Benny was alone with the seemingly vulnerable Luan, Benny asked her, "Hey Luan, you feeling okay?"
"Did someone get the number of that taco truck?" Luan replied, clearly out of it and unable to fend for herself.
As Benny tried to keep Luan up, he was approached by Logan who was carrying a passed out Troy over his shoulders, Troy's left arm over it. "Yo out of towner boy," Logan said, "First off, I never got the name of you or your girlfriend here, second off don't challenge Allison Ace to a drinking contest, or you'll end up like Troy here. Imma have to take him upstairs to sleep off the drunk."
"Oh, I would NEVER challenge Allison to a drinking contest," Benny replied, "Also, my name is Benny and my girlfriend's name is Luan."
Logan arched a wry eyebrow. "Huh, I got it that one of Lori Loud's younger sisters is named Luan."
"She's a completely different Luan, I assure you," Benny said, remembering that he and Luan got into the party because of a lie that they're out of town high schoolers.
Nodding once, Logan said, "Well just be sure to- hey, where did your girlfriend go?" Benny stopped short and turned to see that Luan was now missing.
Benny looked panicked, even clapped his hands to the sides of his face. "Oh crud, Luan's not doing so hot right now!" Benny exclaimed, "We need to find her!"
...
Luan was led upstairs to a guest room by a blonde haired fair skinned football team member. He led her into the room, had her sit down on the bed. Luan was too out of it to really tell what the heck was going on, much less do anything to stop whatever might happen. It was just as the blonde football team member and some of the other guys wanted, although none of them were expecting an out of towner.
Luan actually fell over onto the bed as she was sitting on it, drawing a darkly amused smirk from the blonde football team member. However, he was about halfway through taking off his football jacket when the door to the room he and Luan were in suddenly burst open, and in rushed Luna and Sam. "What the bloody hell do you think you're doing, mate?!" Luna exclaimed angrily, her practiced British accent slipping through.
"Yo it ain't what it looks like," the blonde football team member said, only to be cut off when Luna and Sam rushed him. The blonde football team member had experience being rushed by people on the gridiron, but this was different, not to mention he's never been rushed by anyone even close to the considerable weight of Luna Alverson.
During the ensuing scuffle, Allison who passed by the open door leading into the room saw Luna and Sam inside. "Ho, good bards," Allison said as jogged into the room, "What has the jock done to draw your ire in su-" Allison stopped short when something fell out of the blonde football team member's right jacket pocket.
Before the blonde football team member could stop it, Allison picked up the fallen item, a packet of pills. "...Medicine?" Allison said in a confused tone that matched her likewise expression. Showing the item to Luna and Sam, Allison asked, "These fell from the jock's pocket just now. What manner of medicine be thi-"
"Those are roofies!" Sam exclaimed in angered disgust.
"Roofies?" Allison repeated in a confused tone, "What manner of ailment do they treat?"
"They're drugs slipped to others to make them vulnerable," Sam explained, getting more and more pissed, "They're commonly used by jackass guys who wanna make girls easy to have their way with them! Roofies are a date rape drug!"
That was all Allison needed to hear. She pulled out her one-handed war hammer, pointed it at the blonde football team member. "Your offense shant go unpunished, foul little fool," Allison snarled, "Blonde bard! Alert the rest of our companionship to the crime that had just gone down! Lori's sister and I shall watch this one!"
"You brought a war hammer to a party?!" said the blonde football team member.
"You have no room to talk, jackass!" Sam snapped before she ran out of the room, screaming in panic for Lori and the others. As Allison kept the blonde football team member cornered, Luna went to collect the vulnerable Luan. The plus sized rocker girl swore not to let anything happen to her comedic soon to be step-sister, and she's fight tooth and nail if need be. She also wasn't afraid to throw her weight around if it'd help.
Considering how much Luna weighs, the only person at the party who outweighs Luna is Leni, Luna is confident putting her weight into it to protect Luan would be quite effective.
The following morning at the Loud family residence, Luna sat at the table in the dining room with Lori and Leni as Lisa came walking into the room. "I just finished the analysis of the blood samples I took from everyone at the party last night," Lisa began.
"You took blood samples from everyone at the party last night?" Luna said questioningly.
"It's one of Lisa's science things," Lori said, "And given what could of happened last night, it's best to find out how much damage could have happened."
"Indeed," Lisa said, "Well anyway, an estimated one in four girls who were at the party last night had traces of a common roofie in their systems. I have a complete list here." Lisa held up a list and handed it to Lori.
The oldest Loud sister scanned the list. "I literally knew it," Lori scowled, "Luan is one of the girls those jerks were going to try to have their sick perverted fun with. Sam's on this list as well."
"That would explain why she clocked out of it so soon after we saved Luan," Luna said, sounding very pissed off.
Looking at the list, Lori said, "Wait, Allison's name is also on the list, along with a note saying she drank an estimated forty-nine red plastic cups worth of beer, at least seven of which were laced with roofies." Setting the list down, Lori said, "Allison... hasn't suffered any ill effect period."
"I'm amazed she's still alive," Lisa said, "She's proven to be more of a medical marvel than Flip."
"I heard that a lot of police officers came to the party after our group all left," Leni said.
Nodding once, Luna said, "Yeah, and all of the jerks who had roofies were arrested. Given it's over half of the Royal Woods High football team, it's the biggest scandal our school has ever seen."
At that moment, Luan walked into the kitchen, a hand held to her head. "Ow, my head's killing me," Luan said, "Can I get some coff-" Luan was cut off when Luna got up from her seat, made her way over to Luan, and threw her arms around her to hug her. "Huwaa?" Luan said, confused.
"Luan," Lori said, sounding concerned, "We literally need to talk."
After everyone sat down, Lori proceeded to explain to Luan what exactly happened last night at the party. Luan after she got the full details was shocked and horrified by what almost had happened to her. "Luckily for you, Luna and Sam came to the rescue," Lori said as she finished the tale, "And the noise they made fighting the jerk who was going to violate you summoned Allison who helped keep things from going south."
"Oh... oh my goodness..." Luan said, shocked that her life had come so close to being turned upside down. Looking to Luna, Luan said, "And... and you saved me."
"Well it was me and Sam," Luna said, "Then Allison came in and went full Thor the Mighty, and then I got you out of there and over to your boyfriend Benny who kept an eye on you to make sure that you didn't suffer anything so I could go back and give that jerk a piece of my mind for what he had tried to do to yo-"
Luna was cut off when Luan threw her arms around her to hug her. "...Thank you for saving me."
A small but warm and sincere smile spread over Luna's face as she returned the hug. "No prob, dude," Luna said, "No prob."
"Aww, it's totes cute how you two are getting along," Leni gushed.
After the girls broke from the hug, the rest of the Loud and Alverson siblings came into the dining room for breakfast. "What did we miss?" Lynn asked.
"Nothing that you need to concern yourselves with," Lisa replied.
"Oh snap, bruh," Luna said, "I just realized that Lisa sat in on the conversation that we just had and-"
"Luna, she ran the analysis on the blood samples," Lori pointed out, "She knows what happened at the party."
"Lemme guess," Lynn said dryly, "Some of the teens at the party drank beer."
"Yes Lynn," Lori said, "There was underage drinking at the party. Nothing else illegal went down."
Lisa, understanding that Lori didn't want the others to know about the dark deal Luan almost suffered last night, said, "The record for drinking last night is held by Allison Ace, who drank forty-nine red plastic cups worth of beer."
Arching a wry eyebrow at her older sister, Lynn said, "How in blazes is Allison still alive? Shouldn't that be enough to kill a normal person?"
"Allison literally isn't normal," Lori replied dryly, "Although it's proven to be a good thing overall."
"You girls sound like last night wasn't as awesome as you had hoped," Lincoln began, "That being said, why not throw your own teen party?"
Lori looked surprised at that idea. "Throw our own teen party?"
Nodding once, Lincoln said, "With you guys running the show, you can control things to keep what you didn't like about the party last night from happening. Mind you, me and our respective sisters younger than me probably won't take part, also I'm not sure if you'll let Lynn come despite how she is also a teenager technically. But you Lori along with Leni, Luna, and maybe Luan can have the fun party you all were looking forward to."
Looking to the girls seated at the table, Lori said, "What do you girls think?"
"I think it's a good idea, bruh," Luna said. Turning to look at Luan, Luna said, "And you're owed a proper high school party experience, Luan. What do you say?"
Luan, looking touched, remarked, "I'd love that." Luan and Luna hugged one another again, with Luan glad that she was getting a big sister like Luna.
END, CHAPTER SEVEN
Author's notes;
This chapter sees Luan come to get to see the Alverson siblings in a better light when Luna is able to swing bringing her and Benny to a high school party. It's as wild as one can expect from a bunch of unsupervised high schoolers. It even takes a darker turn, but Luna helps to save Luan from being dealt the ultimate in raw deals.
The following morning, as a scandal rocks the Royal Woods High School community, Luan learns of what Luna did to save her, and is grateful. Lincoln, seeing that the teenage girls are upset but not knowing the reason why, suggests to them to throw their own high school party so they can do all of what they want the way that they want it.
The idea is a hit, and a party is planned. Of course, it won't be for a while, especially as the next chapter sees Lori bond more with Leni. Lori, same as Lisa, never had prejudice against the plus sized Alversons. But Leni will keep Lori from losing her head, as well as from potentially costing a friend their future. Until then, take care.
