Silver crow; Thanks! Yeah, they have a good few sweet moments. Yeah, he had quite the waking up then~ Freed did yeah, he was more than a little surprised by what was going on. Akeno did yeah. Yumi will yeah. Glad you liked the interactions between them. They certainly were surprised when he said it. Yeah, Akeno feels good to hear Kazuto holds no animosity for Fallen Angels. Yeah, Kazuto and his Grams had quite the little nice scene between them. Vali did yeah. Augusta doesn't have Incinerate Anthem right now, its going to be a plot point in the coming chapters. When he needs to be, he'll show many sides. Lavinia and Augusta's relationship is going to be quite interesting when they meet. We'll see what his strengths are. All I can say about Koneko right now is she knows more than she's letting on, it will become more clear in the near future. That would be fun with Cao Cao. She probably is the strongest female Fallen Angel yeah. Thanks for the suggestions~
Guest 1; Vali and Kazuto are quite connected yeah. He hasn't dreamed about her for that connection, otherwise he'd bring it up. Vali and Kazuto will still have their fated battle one day. Ddraig will be appearing in the chapter. Thanks for the peerage suggestions.

Yeah, that's his Grams~ Kazuto did yeah, he doesn't know enough to pass any kind of judgements, and even if he did, he isn't the type to judge an entire race based on one or two people. Viser got finished off pretty quickly, as Kazuto adjusts to more of his powers. Kokabiel definitely would be worried if Vali finds out.
Anime PJ; Thank you very much~ Thought it would make sense for now, and some future plots that're gonna be set up during this first part of the story. Lavinia was sneakily mentioned lol. Yeah, its a good series, and Kazuto seemingly was at least apart of some of the conflict that rose up during that era.
HolyKnightX; Thanks! Yeah, Kazuto knows more about himself now, and soon will find out even more. Augusta currently doesn't have her Longinus, it'll be explored more what happened for it to be passed on in the coming chapters. Yeah, there's a good few new characters being introduced lately.

With those reviews out of the way, its time to start the chapter!
Chapter 3
After absorbing all of the information that he could, Kazuto couldn't wait to see what else in his life he had done, and now, he was sat with his grandmother in the living room, watching as she was beginning to wave her fingers through the air.
"Okay, so you want to see magic?" Augusta began, showing a radiant smile.
Kazuto slowly nods his head, adopting a wide grin. "Gotta admit, I've been waiting for this~"
"So, how about we show off some elements?"
As he said it, his grandmother waved her fingers around in the air.
There, he saw magical circles forming all around.
Then from the magical circles, he saw a variety of different elements beginning to be birthed into their living room.
He saw fire, ice, water, wind, earth, light, dark, and explosions all beginning to surround him in a beautiful vortex of power.
A mixture of vibrant colors filled his eyes, it looked like a beautiful dream.
"Wow Grams, this is extraordinary, being able to command so many elements at once. Though I'm sure for you, its not a huge deal huh?"
"I suppose once upon a time, it was a huge deal. I started off as a young girl at some point, and was taught about magic."
"And I could do this huh?"
Augusta giggled ever so slightly. "Yes. You've quite the talent in it. Now I don't know what you've been speaking about with the Devils, but you have a Sacred Gear which was also targeted during the time Samael poisoned you, so I made sure was put under my spells to hide it in case anyone tried to take it from you."
"And now I can use it?" Kazuto retorts.
Augusta bequeaths a small smile. "You can. But remember what I said, these Longinus's, they're powerful tools, straight from the God in the Heavens. Especially in your case, once you awaken it, you're going to be targeted. Dragons are, and you're no exception."
Kazuto adopts an empathic face for his beloved grandmother. "I know you're worried for me Grams, I can't say that its going to be all sunshine and rainbows, but I have to become strong. People are going to come for me eventually, aren't they?"
Augusta didn't refute that. "You're right. I wish I could've kept you away from this for longer, I'm sorry that it has come to this Kazuto."
Kazuto saw his grandmother bow her head in a respectful manner.
His eyes laced with kindness. "Don't worry Grams, we can do this together now. No more needing to put it all on you, I'm here to lighten your load."
He showed his smile towards her, and she in turn returned the gaze right back.
While she wasn't thrilled, she was glad to see the conviction in her grandsons eyes, that he wasn't going to shy away from this, even with the dangers set before him, and was going to grow as strong as he possibly could do.
Later on, Kazuto was heading to school together with Yumi. They discussed what had happened during the time with his grandmother, and as he spoke, Yumi could see that there was conviction within his eyes.
"It seems like your grandmother really loves you, Kazuto-kun."
"Yeah, she does. And I love her. Though now I'm involved, gotta get a hang of these powers quickly, before something unexpected shows up."
Yumi agreed. "Do you know how to use them?"
Kazuto shrugged. "I've got the gist of how to use my physical abilities, and my demonic power, I can shape it and the likes, but Grams said I could even use elements of demonic power, I wouldn't mind trying that out in a non battle scenario, so if I need to, I can rely on skill rather than just instinct until my memories are restored, which Grams said we'd talk about more tonight."
"Then, why don't we do it after school?" Yumi suggests. "While demonic power isn't my specialty, I know enough to help you grasp how to use it like that, it should be easy enough. And we can do other things like practice if you want?"
Kazuto thought that would be a great idea, his eyes clasping upon Yumi's face kindly.
"Thanks Yumi-chan, these last few days have been strange. At the beginning of the week, the worst I had to worry about was what Kiryuu had planned for my love life." Yumi giggled. "And now, I've got to wonder who is going to come for me. So, having more reliable ways to use my powers, would go in my favour."
Yumi was glad that she could help Kazuto out.
She was intrigued by the young man, and she wanted to find out a few things about him as well regarding his power.
"Then lets meet after school, and use some elements."
Kazuto was all for it, he couldn't wait to begin to use his powers.
Especially after seeing his grandmothers abilities during that morning, summoning the elements, he wouldn't mind if he was capable of doing that.
When it came time for lunch, Kazuto thought he'd meet with Rias, and discuss what was going to happen that evening, with the Fallen Angels, along with what he learned from his grandmother about himself, and he also had some questions as well.
He walked to the Old School Building, and went inside.
When he did, he saw that the corridors were dark.
Very dark.
Even for a Devil like him, he found it difficult to see through all of the darkness.
He begins going towards the club room, shifting through the darkened hallways.
Though as he did, he felt a chill go down his spine.
Like eyes were on him.
So he slowly turned around…but saw nothing down the corridor.
"Strange…this building...maybe its haunted, ghosts existing wouldn't be so strange after what I've seen…" Kazuto calmly thought, shifting his eyes around the darkness to be sure that nothing was there for him to see.
Shaking his head, he continued on towards the club room, as eyes from bats, that hung from the ceiling, were all directed towards Kazuto, looking towards him silently, before they flew off back towards a room with it being locked off from the rest of the building.
After that curious situation, Kazuto continued on towards the club room, heading up the stairs, and found the room they usually would meet.
He went to knock, when he heard a voice he didn't recognize.
"Rias-sama, the time is drawing close, and Onii-sama wishes for an answer."
"I have until I graduate, please tell your Onii-sama to respect that."
Kazuto didn't know what that was about.
So he knocked on the door, and waited.
He soon heard "Please come in." and when he opened the door, he was greeted to Rias sat on the couch, with a new girl.
She looked like quite a cute shorter girl that has blonde hair, tied into two twintails that were curled like drills. She's wearing a frilly pink dress that looked like it belonged on someone of royalty.
Upon seeing Kazuto, the girls face turned a little upwards into a delightful smile.
"Well, hello there." The girl stood up, and approached Kazuto who did the same thing back. "I haven't seen you before, are you Rias-sama's new servant?"
"Eeh, no, I'm no one's servant. My names Kazuto, pleasure to meet you."
The girl adopts a smile that shows off her cute expressions. "My name is Ravel Phenex, apart of the famous Phenex clan, I'm sure you've heard of my clan before."
Kazuto shrugged. "Can't say that I have, sorry."
Ravel rapidly blinks, her face shifting between surprise confusion and wonder at the same time.
"I, I see. So, who are you exactly? Are you a Devil as well? Or a human?"
"I'm both." Kazuto retorts.
"Both, are you? So that makes you a Half Breed." Ravel eyes up Kazuto, looking from his face, right down his form, and her lips kept curling up. "I see, so Rias-sama is gifting herself a little treat."
Rias coughs, while Kazuto snickers. "Aw, thank you, you're sweet~"
Ravel's face turned a few shades red. "Y-Yes, so..."
Ravel moves, and bows her body.
Kazuto gives amused eyes. "You don't have to bow to me, a handshake would do."
Ravel blinks in surprise, while Rias wears a half smile on her face. "Very well, as the humans do, a hand shake is most acceptable, Kazuto-sama."
Kazuto took her smaller hand, and gently shook it.
Ravel looked into Kazuto's blue eyes, and she smiled delightfully.
"Nice to meet a friend of Gremory-senpai's. Phenex, huh? So, you've got like, fire powers? And some kind of restoration powers or something?"
"Very astounding to figure that out."
"Well, the name sounds super close to phoenix so…you know." He said in a borderline deadpan tone.
Ravel was beginning to get a little flustered, while Kazuto was clearly having a little playful fun.
"A-Ah, yes. So, you're a Devil and a human are you?"
"That's right, recently discovered."
Ravel crossed her eyes. "How would you not know that?"
"Its…complicated, it would take a while to explain the nitty gritty of the details. But suffice to say, I'm going to through a little journey of self discovery right now, after my memories were, for a lack of a better term, sealed away. Something strong, apparently."
"Ooh…So, that's how it is." Ravel glanced at Rias, who in turn raised a brow back. "And you're equipped to handle this, Rias-sama?"
Rias crossed her own eyes this time. "What do you mean?"
"I was just thinking, if you're busy with all of your duties, then I could perhaps help out."
Rias slowly shakes her head, believing that she was seeing that Ravel was quite taken with Kazuto's natural appeal. "Well, all the help would be great, wouldn't it Kazuto-kun?"
"Sure, go for it." Kazuto replied with a cheerful smile. "Thanks for the help, Phenex-san~ Maybe don't share it with the entire world though yet, still getting used to a few things before the entire world finds out about me."
Ravel's face dyed deeper crimson, shuffling side to side. "Yes, of course. I'll speak with the Maou-sama's only, perhaps they know you, and any information you can send me, I'll pass onto the Maou-sama's. I have to go now, goodbye Kazuto-sama. Rias-sama will give you the ability to contact me, for anything. And, if I was to get in contact with you?"
Rias found it intriguing to see Ravel being intrigued.
"Do you have a phone?" Kazuto asks.
Ravel shakes her head. "No…though, I'll contact Rias-sama, yes that's what I'll do. Good day!"
Kazuto watched Ravel leave the room, Rias giggling to herself.
Kazuto gives amused eyes, looking back to Rias. "So…interesting friend."
"Yes, she's…interesting, as you say, never seen her act like that before. So, what can I help you with Kazuto-kun?"
"Just wanna go over some stuff for later on with the Fallen Angels, and also I spoke with Grams. Not sure if Yumi-chan's said anything to you yet, so I thought I'd come and tell you, since we're helping out one another."
Rias agreed, and pats the side of her.
Kazuto walks over, and begins going over what happened with his grandmother.
As Rias listened, she was amazed to say the least.
"…So, it was your grandmother who hid you? Your memories?"
"She said she didn't do that and it was someone else. I was also hit with a curse. Grams...we talked for a while, and she told me some details about myself. She really tried her best, she really does care for me, she just wanted me to live a normal life after what I lived through as a child. Wish I could know, but Grams said she's working on it. Also, she did mention the Devils didn't like my existence."
Rias could see that he truly did love his grandmother.
Rias felt for the young man right now.
It seemed to be a difficult time so she wished to do what she could to take that worry away.
"She's probably right, there are Devils that wouldn't like your existence for being a Half Devil, Half Human. I'm sorry in anyway you could've been treated in the past…"
Kazuto gives a gentle smile. "There might be Devils that hate my existence, but you shouldn't apologize for them, Buchou. You've been nothing short of amazing in trying to help me, thank you Buchou."
Rias felt a surge in her chest, her heart was beginning to beat a little more than she thought it would do.
Adopting a small smile, Rias flicks her head side to side in an adoring manner.
"Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad we can work together. So, where do we go from here? Your Sacred Gear, your grandmother confirmed you have one?"
"She did, I'm going to be awakening it tonight. Want to come with me? You and the others of course."
"Y, Yes that would be wonderful, thank you." Rias showed a grateful face.
Kazuto waved his hand slowly, showing his small smile for the young red head.
They spent the rest of lunch just talking to one another, and enjoying the others company, getting to know a little more about the other.
When after school finally came, Kazuto met up with Yumi outside of the Old School Building.
Though as he arrived, he saw curtains fluttering in a part of the Old School Building he hadn't been in before, the same place he felt someone's eyes on him earlier that day.
As he looked, for a moment, he thought he saw someone standing at the window.
With he only being able to make out blonde hair fluttering in the wind with how dark it was in that room, Kazuto gazed at the being for a few moments, and they did the same thing right now.
"Someone's up there...someone's watching me. I don't get any evil vibes or anything from the person...huh, wonder what this is about...?"
Kazuto couldn't help but think of a number of scenarios of what was going on right now.
But then the curtain was shyly pulled and they hid behind it, so Kazuto smiled, and waved towards the window.
When the person saw the wave, they gave a little shy wave right back, Kazuto smiled softly, and gave the peace sign, while saying loudly. "Nice to meet you!"
He didn't get a verbal reply back, but when he went to leave, he did see a message in the window that read 'Nice to meet you.' which caused Kazuto to smile, but then he saw the person vanish from the window, so he thought that was the end of their conversation.
So he thought he'd ask Yumi about it.
Kazuto then went around the back so they wouldn't be seen. He saw that Yumi was dressed in a girls gym uniform, and he thought she looked absolutely gorgeous right now.
Kazuto himself wore shorts and a shirt, his own gym outfit, since he thought they'd be doing some form of exercise.
Kazuto approached Yumi, who in turn showed a delightful smile. "Kazuto-kun, I'm glad you've arrived."
As she said it, she looked over his appearance, and saw his body, feeling her face turning a little more crimson.
"Thanks, Yumi-chan. Say, do you have someone I've not met yet in the Old School Building?"
"Erm, we do. Why do you ask?"
"Well, I kinda just saw them, I couldn't make out the appearance really, just saw blonde hair, and they wrote "Nice to meet you" when I said the same thing."
"Aah, that would be Gasper-san. Sorry, Gasper-sans really shy, and right now…is sealed up, because of the power Gasper-san possesses. I'm sure you'll get a chance to meet. For now, are you ready?"
Kazuto nods his head, going along with that for the time being, and stood before Yumi.
"Ready~ How shall we proceed~?"
Hearing his singsong voice, Yumi couldn't help but adore a small smile on her face.
"Lets begin with demonic power." Kazuto watched Yumi pull close, and took his hand. "You've summoned it before, so can you summon it without worry?"
"Yeah, look." Kazuto began, his hand pointing out.
He could feel the aura flowing all around his body.
Then it began to concentrate within the palm of his hand.
So he opened his hands, and saw his demonic power flowing like a river between his fingers, Yumi adopting a small smile.
"Since you only learned of it the other day you're doing pretty well, so now to use demonic power, you can change it into other properties. Such as fire, ice, and so on and so forth. Using imagination is important, though Akeno-san said for beginners, moving elements is easier so, I brought this bottle for you."
Kazuto watched Yumi produce a bottle of water, placing it on the ground.
Kazuto looked at his demonic power, and then the bottle.
"So Akeno-san helped out?"
She nods. "Yes, I also went to her for some tips, since she's more skilled than I am."
Kazuto knew he'd have to thank Akeno for this later on.
Believing in what Yumi was saying, his hand went out towards the bottle, and his demonic power flowed into the bottle.
Concentrating on creating ice out of the water, since he had to admit being a sucker for ice based powers, he imagined it would be possible for his power to be able to create this phenomenon, and watched how the water shifted.
Yumi curiously gazed at the water, watching it rising higher and higher in the bottle, brushing against the cap.
Then she saw it beginning to freeze in place, Kazuto being astounded, then he moved his hand up, and caused the ice to spike out of the bottle.
"Amazing, you've got a talent for demonic power. Though your grandmother is a magician, so I'm not entirely surprised, though there are clear differences between magic and demonic power."
Kazuto nods slowly, adopting a small smile. "So, I'm a waterbender right now then~?"
Yumi burst into a fit of giggles.
"Seems so~" As she said it, he gazed at the power flowing between his fingers.
"Thanks Yumi-chan, looks like I'm able to move elements. Wanna keep going?"
"Sure, lets. Now, lets see how good your aim is."
Kazuto nods his head, and begins shooting out shots of demonic power at different targets that Yumi was putting out.
Gathering demonic power at the top of his fingertips, he fires his fingers like a gun, and slammed into the centre of most targets, blasting them apart.
He couldn't thank her enough for taking this time to help him be able to accomplish his goals of beginning to Master these new powers that were wild inside of him.
Yumi in turn enjoyed spending this time with Kazuto, seeing him smiling radiantly, and seeing him laughing and enjoying himself, made her heart warm, and in turn, took away the troubles that were in her own heart about her past.
For a while, she could just spend time with Kazuto, and have a little fun together.
Meanwhile, Raynare was sat on a pew in the abandoned Church that they were in, and was running her fingers through her silky black hair, eyeing up the sides of the Church as they waited for their meeting with the Gremory family.
She tried to calm herself, while Kalawarner came over, and sat close by. "Raynare, our meetings in an hour, they've received word from Kokabiel to back us up."
"Good. Now, where is that Freed anyway? He can't ruin this with his aggression."
Kalawarner gave amused eyes. "Made sure he's out, he'd ruin any chance of us trying to pull this off."
Raynare felt happy about that. "Good, the little psycho would try and say something stupid, as long as he isn't there, then we're all good. Honestly, this meeting is going...I can't believe he's Vali's...shit, of all the people we could be going up against, if Vali finds out...ooh shit, I can't Kalawarner..."
"Then we'll have to play our best cards, Azazel-sama loves Sacred Gears, its no secret, even the Devils would know that, its plausible we'd want to have Kazuto in our group."
"But we were planning to kill him, and harvest his Sacred Gear. Think they'll believe us that we wouldn't do that?" Mittelt said as she walked into the room.
Raynare sighed deeply, and internally thought about what was being said right now, and could see that she had a good few thoughts that Raynare couldn't deny to also be thinking about.
"They can't prove we're not with Azazel-sama, as Kokabiel-sama has vouched for us, if it came from a higher up like him, they can't deny that's what we're here for."
Kalawarner couldn't refute that. "Though this is a Devils town, and we weren't supposed to be here long…this is difficult, we can't even contact Azazel-sama now, if he finds out what Dohnaseek did, we'd be in hot water as well."
"Thankfully Kokabiel-sama understands that we are people who believe Fallen Angels should be on top." Mittelt adds.
"I know, and Dohnaseek, that fool, has messed up everything. We still have Kokabiel-sama on our side, and thanks to him, we can be safe from the Devils, though I'm sure they'll want to leave, or might even involve their higher ups, which is troubling."
Kalawarner nods, and begins getting on setting up with the Devils, Mittelt turning to Raynare in worry.
"Raynare, Asia…are we really going for her? As we go on, I think its less and less likely we can do it."
Raynare nods. "I understand the concern. But we've come this far, we will just have to be more proactive. I was planning on having her Sacred Gear extracted here, but the Devils will know something's up if we do anything like that. So lets just get her, and get going. She should be here soon enough…then that power of Twilight Healing is going to be all mine…damn, I'd love Kazuto's, but yeah...even a mind erased him is a scary thought...but I wont give up Kalawarner, Mittelt..."
Raynare's eyes displayed excitement and hunger for the power.
To serve her leader, Azazel.
She wouldn't give it up, no matter what crossed her path.
Mittelt hoped it would be all worth it in the end, as she didn't want to die.
Kalawarner gives an uneasy look to her face.
She wasn't that concerned about Asia, she was concerned about her, and the others futures, seeing that Dohnaseek tangoed already with the Devils, and he ended up being killed as a result, she didn't want the same for them as well.
The time had come, and Kazuto had tagged along with the Gremory group to their Occult Research Club, though the Fallen Angels would be appearing via hologram.
The atmosphere felt tense, even Akeno the usually smiley one of the group had serious eyes on.
Rias inhales deeply. "Alright, everyone. We are going to meet them, to hear their side of the story. Lets do our best to not escalate the situation, even if they throw curveballs, okay?"
Everyone nods, even Kazuto nods since he didn't want to cause any wars to happen.
Rias walks forward with Kazuto beside her, Yumi Koneko and Akeno followed closely behind.
Rias sat down and Kazuto followed after, soon followed by Akeno, Yumi and Koneko.
They all waited, while Akeno made a magical circle appear on the floor.
"So, that's for the hologram, right?"
Yumi nods. "Yes, that's right."
Kazuto hums in thought. "Its a good decision on their part to make it a hologram meeting, considering that we are their enemies, and how Dohnaseek fell, unless they're like amazingly more powerful, then I'd say we have the edge."
"I agree Kazuto-kun." Rias inhales deeply. "Though now that we're going to be meeting them, lets do our best to find out all we can. We don't know what they're going to say to convince us, but I wish for the Fallen Angels to leave the town, they came without authorization..."
Akeno hums. "Remember Buchou, Kokabiel has vouched for them. We can't be careless in how we proceed. He said they were acting on Azazel's orders."
Rias nods. "It seems, according to him, that Azazel sent them here with the intention of recruiting Sacred Gear wielders. Azazel has been known to have a long standing desire for Sacred Gears, studying them, so it isn't strange that's the case. We have also sent word to our superiors, and they've agreed to send word on our behalf as well while giving us permission to deal with these Fallen Angels, so everything should go smoothly."
The others in the group nod, including Kazuto who hums in thought.
Akeno looks at the time. "Seems like the times come, they'll be arriving in the hologram any moment now."
Rias and the others sat back, waiting for the Fallen Angels.
Soon enough, the Fallen Angels arrive via hologram.
Raynare, Kalawarner, and Mittelt.
All three of them were sat down on a pew, it looked like a Church pew in Kazuto's eye, so he assumed that's where they were.
If the atmosphere was tense before, it was even more crazy intense now, it seemed that the hair on everyone's necks was standing on end.
Though Kazuto could see that Raynare was fearfully looking towards him, for reasons he didn't know about.
Kazuto looked to Rias, who in turn shrugged ever so slightly, so he turned back to Raynare.
"Is, something the matter?"
"I have a question." Raynare spoke with worry. "Are you going to kill me?"
Kalawarner slapped herself in the head, while Kazuto looked bewildered.
Mittelt's teeth jitter as Raynare's anger grows.
Kazuto and Rias again share a look, while Akeno giggled and thought. " Wow, it seems that Kazuto-kun is a scary boy to these Fallen Angels, I wonder who he really is~"
Kazuto composes himself, and exhales. "I don't have any intentions to kill you unless you attack me or someone I care for."
Raynare lowered her eyes. "..I didn't mean to throw coffee at the blonde girl, if I knew you were the guy that she desired...ooh please don't try and kill me, I have a lot to live for! I just want to love Azazel-sama!"
Kazuto looked to Rias with the same bewilderment, who shrugged her shoulders.
Kalawarner sighs, and turns to the Devils, seeing them all eyeing her up curiously.
"Please forgive the ramblings of Raynare. She heard about you, and well...she's become scared. Its a very emotional time for her, you understand."
Raynare looked offended, while Mittelt giggled.
But then Mittelt whimpered when Raynare elbowed her in the ribs.
Kazuto couldn't believe what he was seeing right now, it seemed crazy.
But he remained composed to make sure that everything went smoothly.
Rias looked to the others, seeing them all shrug.
So she begun.
"Now that we've arrived. We would like to hear the explanation of why you decided to have Kazuto-kun here attacked? What made you go for him in the first place?"
"Rumour has it that he had a Sacred Gear, and so, we came to confirm...damn to think its him..." Raynare began, breathing shallowly. "We didn't come here to do what Dohnaseek did, we were simply checking on him as a potential candidate for Azazel-sama to recruit."
"Then…" Kazuto paused, looking to Rias. "May I?"
Rias trusted him, so she nods. "Yes, please continue."
He thanks her and continues. "If you're monitoring me, and trying to recruit me, then I have to question something."
Raynare inhaled slowly. "Y-Yes? W-What is it?"
"Well, I get trying to get a date with me, could be used to get to know me and what not, but Dohnaseek said to me that day he wanted to show you the fruits of his labour, and that capturing me, would do that. If you just wanted to get to know me to recruit me, why would he say that?"
"H, He said that?" Raynare looked sick, Kazuto nods. "H, He...He was out of his mind!"
Kazuto could see the panic in Raynare's eye, she had no real explanation, and knew deep down there was some truth to what Dohnaseek said, even if Raynare tried to reject it.
"Kazuto-kun, regardless of the powers he may or may not have, shouldn't have been targeted like he was by your comrade." Rias adds on.
Kalawarner slowly folds her arms underneath her bust. "You're right. We can only apologize for his movements."
Raynare breathed in sharply. "I just want to add, I wouldn't dream of seducing you now, like holy shit, that other monster would kill me..."
Kazuto didn't reveal what he was thinking.
Neither did Rias.
The others watched on, each wondering how this was going to go.
"Now we've established some facts, I have to be blunt, and ask you to leave my territory. Forgive me for saying this so boldly, but whether you were involved or not, Kazuto-kun here was assaulted by a member of your group, its thankful that he wasn't hurt."
Kazuto agreed. "Its why, its best if we part amicably right now. We both don't want war, do we?"
Rias looked intrigued by Kazuto's words.
Seeing the way he carried himself, made Rias think more about what he would be capable of, staying calm in a situation like this.
She watched him as he continued in a reasonably well organized manner.
"We've established the reason you came here is for me, and since I have no interest in joining your group, I think it would best if we part here. Our superiors have also sent word on what we wish for, and I'm sure that you'd appreciate the gravity of the situation between us right now, correct?"
Rias liked hearing what Kazuto was saying.
He was able to speak quite politically, going off information he had been told and overheard, and spoke in a reasonable manner, not trying to incite war, but stating facts and having them conveyed so they could avoid the war that could bring up between them if things went south.
Raynare thought about Asia.
Right now she didn't want to try and leave without gaining her power.
She thought Asia would be arriving any day, so she pondered what would be best.
She looked to Kalawarner and Mittelt, seeing their eyes just as serious.
Raynare sighed. "Yes, you're right, this situation has to end. Can we have a few days for us to gather our things, and our intel among other things before we leave? W-We came across a Sacred Gear wielder, who we know isn't associated with the Devils, so...w-we thought about recruiting them. I-If that's fine with you."
Kazuto glanced at her curiously, seeing Raynare looking troubled.
Rias nods. "You wouldn't be opposed to be monitored by me and my peerage, would you?"
Raynare felt the urge to yell right at the young woman.
But she held her tongue for the time being, and simply nods along.
"Very well, we'll agree to those terms. Once we make contact with our potential, then we shall leave without trouble." Raynare turned to Kazuto. "I also just want to say, I have to apologize on behalf of Dohnaseek. What he did, and what it could've lead to, I offer my apologies."
Kazuto bowed his head. "Thank you, Raynare-san. And also, believe me when I say, I wasn't lying to you on that day you asked me out, I do genuinely have a date on Sunday with Yumi-chan, and I'm sure you'd have been a great date..."
Raynare felt touched, while Kalawarner and Mittelt both looked amused.
"Thank you! Can you tell Azazel-sama that please?! B-Because, he rejects me and...c-coming from you, he might appreciate it..." Raynare repeatedly bows her head.
They continued until the time was to depart.
Once they were gone, Kazuto looked to the others, Rias let out a small breath. "Are we all on the same page?"
"They aren't the best liars in the world." Kazuto retorts.
Rias folds her arms. "Indeed. I did genuinely get the impression that they were here for parts of what they said, but Dohnaseek attacked you, and when they talked about it…"
"I got the sense they were aware that it was happening, and did nothing to prevent it, based on their general reactions to it, could be wrong, but its a feeling I got as well, Buchou." Kazuto finished off. "Think they'll keep to their word, and leave?"
Rias rubs her chin. "Truthfully, I don't know."
"And this Sacred Gear wielder...who could that even be?"
Rias ponders it. "Truthfully, I'm not quite sure, all Sacred Gear wielders I know of in this town are already parts of factions. But that's why we'll keep an eye on them, if they try anything to any of us, including you Kazuto-kun, then we wont stay silent and do whatever we need to do. We've agreed the terms, and we'll share this with our superiors, so if the Fallen Angels do anything to break the rules we've agreed to, then we shall be safe from any worry should we defend ourselves."
Kazuto adopts a small teasing smile. "That's great. Thank you for looking out for me Buchou~"
Akeno loved the teasing tone, and Rias felt her face flush a little.
"N-Not a problem. You're our friend."
"Ooh, just a friend~?"
Akeno was truly adoring this right now, and couldn't help but want to have more conversations with Kazuto.
Rias looked on with a face that was growing redder by the moment. "I, I…I think we are good friends...yes..."
Yumi giggled, her vision on Kazuto. "Kazuto-kun, you've flustered Buchou."
Kazuto gives an endearing smile. "Gotta work on that if I'm a Devil~ I read up that seduction is good for Devils, right?"
"Yes, you are very right Kazuto-kun." Akeno grins, while Rias, Koneko and Yumi glance at her, so she deadpan adds. "I may have given him that book."
Rias looks amused as Kazuto snickered. "Figured it was a little odd that the book mentioned lots of different seductive ways, but it doesn't hurt to have fun, does it~?"
Akeno felt a pulse run through her heart excitedly.
Rias looked between them, seeing the two chuckling together, and found it rather intriguing if she was honest with herself.
Later on that night, Kazuto and the Gremory group went back to his home with his grandmother.
Upon entering the room, they saw that Augusta was already prepared, having a magical circle on the ground, and Kazuto saw her looking towards Rias and the others, her expressions were quite unreadable.
"Hello, we haven't formally met. But my name is-"
"Rias Gremory, I'm aware of who you are." Augusta said it near emotionless, Rias fumbles with her lower lip. "Kazuto, I'm glad you're back. Shall we get along with re-awakening your Sacred Gear?"
"Sure, lets do it Grams."
"Great, now first, please step into the magical circle. I'll just undo the spells I placed, and then we'll see about awakening that Sacred Gear of yours."
Kazuto nods, and goes into the circle.
As he did, Augusta begins doing some complex magical spells that even the likes of Rias and Akeno didn't really understand what she was doing, showcasing the power that she had and the skills as well, knowing she was a good strong woman.
While undoing the seals, Augusta glanced at Rias, and began speaking to her. "So, your Onii-sama, is Sirzechs-san, correct?"
"Yes, that's right."
"You've heard of him Grams?" Kazuto spoke up.
"I'd say so, he is a Maou."
Kazuto was blown away, looking to Rias for confirmation, and saw her nodding her head, looking a little embarrassed.
"Damn, Gremory-senpai, seems like you're very well connected. That's why you're confident the higher ups would be on your side, makes more sense now."
"Y-Yes. Onii-sama is…he's a very difficult person sometimes, but he's very good, and is also on our side."
"Wanna know what she's called back at home, Kazuto-kun?" Akeno's teasing tone caused Rias to glow bright red.
"Ooh no, don't say it!" Rias panicked, showing a cute look to her face.
Kazuto clicks his tongue. "Aah, I'd love to know. But if Gremory-senpai is against it, I guess then we can't do it."
Rias placed a hand over her heart, while Akeno pouted. "Akeno, I can't. Its embarrassing to be called that by Onii-sama, never mind anyone else."
"But, its okay, its only us. Kazuto-kun wouldn't say it to other people, would you Kazuto-kun?"
Kazuto shakes his head. "Of course not."
Rias fumbles with her lower lip, seeing the eyes of her peerage, Kazuto, even Augusta's eyes were on her.
With her heart beating quicker, she keeps her head down and murmurs "I, It was…It was…Ria-tan…" and when he heard that, Kazuto's face broke out into a huge smile.
"Ria-tan, aah that's adorable~" Kazuto chuckled.
Rias's eyelashes fluttered, while Akeno grins. "Ufu, see Rias? He thinks its adorable~"
"Y-Yes, it…its embarrassing to be called such things, but yes that's the name that he used back then...even now at times, its embarrassing, lets move on."
Kazuto was thrilled to hear what she was saying, and couldn't deny that it was fun to see Rias's more light hearted side.
As the minutes pass by, Kazuto felt his chest beginning to feel off.
Like something inside was moving.
Yumi noticed, her lips turning to worry. "You okay Kazuto-kun?"
"Just a weird feeling I'm getting, that's all." Kazuto revealed.
"That's just my magic, nothing to be concerned about." Augusta explained.
Rias glanced at Augusta, and watched with keen eyes as she continued.
When she finished, Kazuto saw Augusta adopt a small smile on her face.
"And that's it my boy, now lets summon this Sacred Gear of yours."
"Okay, so how do we go about that?" Kazuto wondered.
"Kazuto, raise your left hand towards me." Kazuto followed through with what his grandmother wanted and raised his left hand. "Now, close your eyes, and imagine the strongest thing you can."
"Okay…then what?"
"Imagine the pose they do, and mimic that."
Kazuto chuckled. "Yeah, sure, and I'll have the others video me doing ridiculous poses~"
Akeno was so glad that she had met Kazuto, he was very much her speed when it came to being playful and having fun with others.
Augusta looked amused. "Ready my boy?"
"Sure. Alright, lets do this...no laughing." Kazuto closed his eyes, and thought about the strongest person he could.
He thought originally of anime characters, as that's what was most prevalent within his mind.
But something happened when he was visualizing some anime characters.
Without even trying to, his mind was taken to a field.
A place with a giant man stood there, with his hands in fist positions, his muscles looking like they could crush anything, power radiating from his being.
That image burned itself into his mind, and it felt so powerful.
More so than anything he could imagine.
That image continued to play in his mind, as lights flashed within his mind, and all around him.
The others watched his hands moving like the man in his mind right now.
A weight went to his left arm, he could feel something appearing there, so his eyes slowly drift open.
When he looked down, he was enamored to see on his arm, there was a gauntlet, a red one at that, decorated with jewels, a big jewel on the back of his hand where the gauntlet extended towards, coating his fingers in the brilliant red, looking like a claw.
When looking at it, two words screamed in his mind.
"Boosted…Gear…"
Shock overcame the Occult Research Club, Rias's mouth making an O shape.
"Boosted Gear…" Her eyes swim to Augusta. "That's why you hid it, Boosted Gear, one of the thirteen Longinus...he's the Sekiryuutei...and the Hakuryuukou...I can see why Raynare now...yes, the Sekiryuutei lives..."
Kazuto looked to Rias. "You've heard of me?"
"Yes...you and the Hakuryuukou...well...wow, to think you're the Sekiryuutei I heard of as a child...so you're alive...I always wanted to know your name, Kazuto huh...wow."
Augusta glances at Rias, who in turn looks in in surprise.
"Yes, that's the power my grandson wields, a power many people would have sort after, and did, when he was a child." Augusta turned to Kazuto. "My boy, we also have to discuss the seals on your memory. Try as I might, it seems to be difficult to release. Even my magic's not enough, it was sealed by a very powerful being after all. But, don't fret, I do have an idea, I just need to contact an old acquaintance of mine."
Kazuto blinks. "Who?"
"Someone I'm sure is going to be difficult in speaking with, but I might be able to obtain the means of awakening your memory, I just need a special item. I had it in the past, but it was moved to someone else. It has the power to break seals as well as what else it can do. Though I wont lie, it might be difficult, and it might bring some difficulties as she's not always the most agreeable..."
"I'll do what I can to help get my memory back Grams. I want to remember everything."
"I thought you'd say that, then I'll send her a message, and go from there."
Kazuto slowly nods his head, thankful to Augusta.
But then he heard the familiar voice ringing in his head once more.
[Looks like life has been treating you well, partner. You've grown from when we last spoke properly.]
"This voice…you're, apart of Boosted Gear…you're, called, Ddraig aren't you?" Kazuto telepathically communicated with the voice.
Kazuto felt that name came to his head immediately when he heard the voice loud and clear for the first time.
[Indeed, I wish we could've conversed earlier, but I wasn't able to reach you beyond brief messages. But now, I can hear you, loud and clear, partner. Its good to see you alive and well.]
Kazuto didn't know why, but he suddenly felt emotional.
Like he was reconnecting with an old friend that he hadn't heard from in years of his life.
" Yeah…I'm glad you're okay now, Ddraig." Kazuto thought it happily.
He didn't quite understand everything right now.
But he could feel in his heart that Ddraig was his ally.
A confidant.
No, even more than that.
The partner that resides within his Boosted Gear.
Ddraig, was his friend.
Meanwhile, Kokabiel with dark thick black wings spread out behind him, sat on a chair, and looked at an image of Kazuto.
His eyes radiated pure anger.
"To think that child is alive, it makes me angry...!"
"Then why not do something?"
A voice called out behind him.
He looked, and saw someone bathed in flames.
"So you've arrived. Vouching for the Fallen Angels, why would you suggest I do that? They're not worth the time. I couldn't care less about them. The only potential is Freed, and even then, that is a big if on our end. I don't want to have to deal with humans like Freed either, even if he has a good swordsman..."
"I don't care about the Fallen Angels either, but they're good for a little while."
"Azazel is going to find out, they've contacted a Maou! I saw the communications, and Raynare's group weren't convincing in the slightest!" Kokabiel snaps.
"Yeah, the Maou's tried to contact Azazel, but its fine, I'm taking care of it. I said that I would. And I knew they'd not be convincing, but right now, Rias Gremory and her group dare not to make a move, because of you, Kokabiel, who in turn is in direct 'contact' with Azazel. They only need to believe that for a little longer, before my plans come to fruition."
Kokabiel growled, his light radiating from his hand. "What is Raynare's group going to do? Are you interested in Twilight Healing? Is that why you're keeping them around?"
"I have an idea for them Fallen Angels, fear has captured their hearts because they found out who Kazuto-kun is, its to be expected. But, I think I can change that, I just need a little longer, then I think we can obtain what we desire~ Though its a double edged sword, he regains his memories...it will become even more difficult...and as for Twilight Healing, it could be pretty useful, if at all possible, I'd like to take that, but it isn't my main objective, Kazuto is."
"The Fallen Angels, they couldn't do much...they couldn't defeat Kazuto, or the others." Kokabiel looked annoyed.
The flame user swung out their hands, and allowed the entire area to be lit up by said flames.
Looking like a beautiful area, the flame user before the man showed an enthused smile.
"Don't worry about the little details, just make sure I can get to the Fallen Angels, and I'll take over. I hope you've been keeping that little White Dragon away like we discussed. Can't have her poking her nose into what doesn't concern her. If she finds out, then the threat raises to levels I'm not happy with. We have to strike now, while the iron is hot. Boosted Gear...Kazuto's power...its so glorious, this is the perfect chance to obtain such levels of power..."
Kokabiel smirked. "Azazel's got her doing something else, seems like she's not aware right now, but its dangerous waters we're walking, she finds out and it could throw all we had up in the air. Same for Azazel. He gets wind of the Maou's contacting him, then we're screwed. Even you can't keep fooling strong beings forever. Your plan best work."
The figure in flames waved their hands out, and shows an enthused smile. "Ooh, trust me, we all will get what we want in the end. Vali Lucifer, and her rival...or should I say, her partner...Kazuto-kun."
Showing a delightfully evil smile, the flame user vanishes in an uproar of fire, while Kokabiel was left contemplating what it was they were planning now...

So this chapter delved into a few things, one being Augusta beginning to give Kazuto some tools on how to perform magic, and then Kazuto also trained a bit with Yumi in using his demonic power with elements. And then at the end, Kazuto awakened his Sacred Gear, and spoke to Ddraig properly for the first time. Augusta is also seeking an old friend to see if they can help restore Kazuto's memories, so we'll see how that goes.
Though at the end, it seems someone covered in flames is speaking with Kokabiel, and is planning something while going through great lengths to get what they want, so we'll see what's happening there pretty soon.

Koneko's a popular choice, so she'll be in it, Asia as well was quite popular, so she and the equally popular Xenovia and of course Ravel will be in the peerage.
So, a few people have been asking about the clan Kazuto is from, and a few have suggested Asmodeus, which would be cool, if we actually knew what Starsend Moment actually does, and speculating what it does, is difficult, unlike Lucifer's which can be deduced more easier. Though like Vali, he could simply just not use his clans trait and just have the incredible levels of demonic power and maybe a different clan trait through marriage or something, Kazuto's gonna have some unique skills regardless.
