Chapter 1:
We take a look, somewhere in space. Where a spaceship is being pursued.
"Captain, they're getting closer!"
"We can't let them get the Rock of Power," says the Captain.
The ships were firing lasers, but then the Captain uses his trusty screwdriver to activate a laser that destroys the enemy ships.
"What are you dumb babies doing?"
It was all a game that Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, and Lil were playing. "Hi Angelica," says Tommy, "wanna play?"
"Yeah right," says Angelica.
"I wish we could find someone to watch over the kids," says Didi.

Now we take a look at Nicholas Klasky-Csupó. He's african-american, but his mother's half-Irish and his father's half Hungarian. So, he's from a mixed-race family. He's also 16.
"Nick, you don't wanna be late for the last day of school," says Nick's Mom, "by the way, have you found a summer job?"
"Mom, Summer and Job go together like Summer and School," says Nick, "I'm sorry, but it's not gonna happen!"

After school, Nick drives off in his car. "Goodbye teacher's dirty looks," says Nick.

Now we take a look at crime boss, Morgan 'The Owl' Cusmano. He has plans and he won't let anyone stop him. "I want you boys to get me the chip!"
"Boss, what's so important about a computer chip," asks one goon.
"You'll see," says the Owl, "you'll see!"

Nick's just driving his car, but then he crashes into the car of his teacher, Mrs. Pickles.
"Mrs. Pickles," says Nick, "I'm so sorry!"
"Oh, Nicholas, this could take a while to repair," says Didi.
"I'll do anything," says Nick, "even... get a summer job!"
Then Didi has an idea. "I believe there is a way. How are you with children?"
Nick then laughs. "What's to know," asks Nick, "kids are easy. They eat, they play, they sleep, I don't know why my parents said I was a handful."
Didi then starts to rethink. "Well, I don't have many options. Nicholas, how would you like to babysit for me and my friends?"
