Chapter 717: Leni's departure.

(September 8. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods Michigan.)

Leni closes her bag and she sighs in relief. "There. Done. That one is packed and also the last one." She then giggles at what she said because it sounded like she rhymed. Leni then looks around the bedroom, which will be empty soon.

Today is the day Leni Loud leaves the Loud House and heads off to her new place with her friends and their college life. She spent a lot of time with her family throughout the summer and enjoyed all the fun times. Leni grabs her bag and she takes her leave.

Leni then leaves the bedroom and then goes down the stairs. She smiles when she sees the pets accompanying her out of the house and she comes out and sees her family are all here and waiting, and she sees the Moving Truck that The Lewis' called in to help.

The back of the truck closes and the guy driving is Sergei Spellman. Michelle is also here and Lincoln, Luna and Amanda. Amanda snaps some photos of this whole thing. Leni knows that it's time for her to say her farewell to everyone here.

Leni goes over and she embraces Lincoln and Luna. "I will always see you both as my siblings even if we're not in the same family last name anymore. I am so happy for you both and how great your lives are now. I am totes gonna miss spending time with you guys and visiting more often too."

Lincoln and Luna have some tears as they embrace Leni. "We'll miss you too, Leni." They then depart from the hug and they let Leni hug Michelle Lewis.

"I am so proud of how far you have come Leni" replied Michelle. "You have improved into a better person and just learning and becoming someone different and for the better. We're gonna miss seeing you around often Leni."

Leni smiles hearing this. "I'm also gonna miss seeing you around more, Michelle and thanks for being an awesome mother figure towards us and being the best dang mom towards Lincoln and Luna."

Then Leni embraces her younger siblings and they too feel sad to watch Leni leave them, but they know it is for the better. Leni bids her farewell to Lisa and the twins and she wants to make sure that they don't do any trouble, in which they will try.

Lucy made a poem for Leni and she trusts Lucy with all her heart to make sure the little sisters are not gonna be a bother and of course Leni was going to miss Lily, the youngest of them all. Even saying goodbye to Lynn and seeing if she can also help watch over the others.

Leni then turns to Luan and they hug each other. "If you want. You can have my room, so that it won't feel empty to all of you. I know that you and Lucy will discuss this later. It's your choice guys." Luan and Lucy are surprised but they smile and nod.

Leni knows her big sister Lori is not here, she left the other day back to her college and with her roommate Carol Pingrey. She's hoping that Lori will do the best she can in college and so will Leni.

Leni even says her goodbye to the Pokémon companions Banette and Swadloon, she knows that they will help keep an eye on things and ensure everyone is safe and sound.

Then Leni goes towards her parents Rita and Lynnard Loud. She can see that they feel upset and so she needs to be honest with them. "Not gonna lie here… but I am a little resentful towards you both for the tumors that you two never bothered to even notice or giving me a proper check-up."

This surprises everyone. Leni then continues. "But I am willing to give you both a shot of redemption to make things right. I hope you two can handle the others with me and Lori not around anymore, a way to earn trust back."

This is something the Loud parents didn't see coming and yet she makes a good point and they agree and nod. "We will Leni and we're sorry about what we didn't know" replied Rita. "We will do what we can and make sure nothing else bad happens here."

Then Lynnard hands Leni a tray of lasagna. "Here, my Lynn-sagna. I just… I hope you'll remember the best times here…" he then starts to sob. Rita is prepared to hold him back so he doesn't try and latch onto Leni's car, because he did that the other day with Lori's car when she left.

Leni nods, though she isn't a fan of lasagnas anymore and she secretly hands it to Lincoln, and he sneakily hands it to Sergei in the moving truck and he starts to eat it. The guy is hungry.

Leni is about to go to her car. But then she goes back and she shares one big group hug with her family. "I'll miss you guys and I'll try to come by and visit when I can, like on holidays!"

This makes them all tearful and hug her back. They all depart from the hug and they watch as Leni goes into her car, she looks back and waves towards everyone and they wave back. Leni then hops into her car and she drives off and with the moving truck following.

All of them have some emotional tears of joy, and are all happy for Leni. Lincoln then speaks. "This isn't goodbye forever Leni Loud. We'll see you again, because we're family and we stick together no matter what." The others also agree.

But they do see Lynnard Loud crying a storm and the way he sounds when he sobs. Lana then speaks. "Dad's crying sounds like a llama in trouble."

But unbeknownst to them, someone is hiding in the bushes far from the Loud House and using binoculars to see what had happened and he looks angered. 'I vow that I will show that I am a better boyfriend for Leni. She will be with me as it should be and nobody will get in my way!'

A/N: Good luck to Leni and her college life and it seems like someone is still eyeing Leni Loud. This cannot be good. I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter guys.
