This chapter was a lot of fun to make as we went into the group trying to get answers to the questions from the last chapter. Chapter 3 – The New Threat

In their dorm room, Team RWBY and the four shinobis gathered, "So, you were attacked by a mute girl with heterochromia and an exploding dove?" Naruto asked, "And the girl's name in Neo?"

"Yes, here's what she looks like." Blake said as she handed Naruto a sketch drawing, "I drew one since there were no images of her in to find. Not on the news or even wanted lists."

"Wow, you can draw pretty good art." Naruto commented, then grinned, "And this girl's cute."

Rock Lee then looked at the sketch, "Oh yes, very pretty." The bushy-browed shinobi said before he and Naruto noticed all the others in the room glaring at them, "Uh deadly, I meant to say pretty deadly."

"In any case, she was working for a guy called Roman Torchwick." Weiss commented, "But while we caught him, she got away."

"And now it looks like she's back." Yang said before grinning, "Which is fine by me, I'm ready for round two against her."

"Uh, are we all still forgetting the exploding bird." Ruby said, "That part is still weird to me."

"I didn't get enough time to get a good look at it, but it was not a normal bird, nor even a Grimm of some kind." Weiss commented, "If I had to guess, it was made of something moldable to take the shape of a bird."

"A type of jutsu allowing inanimate objects to move independently with an infusion of chakra." Gaara commented, looking to Yang, "This Neo would not have such an ability?"

"Not that I saw, the closest was her weird glass clones I sometimes shattered." Yang responded, "So she's working from someone from your region then?"

"Most likely." Sasuke commented, then looked to Blake, "You mentioned news or wanted list for your source of information on criminals. But does your kingdom have a bingo book?"

"Bingo?" Ruby asked, "Like…A4, D5, E2 bingo?"

"He means a booklet of blacklisted criminals." Blake responded, "They're highly classified and only given to veteran huntsman to take down threats to the kingdoms." She said before crossing her arms, "You think one of those will have information on the bomber here."

"Potentially, yes," Sasuke responded.

"But a problem." Rock Lee interjected, "None of us have a bingo book, we were not assigned one yet."

"Us neither," Blake responded.

"Well, maybe." Ruby said as she turned to Yang, "You think our uncle has one?"

"Probably, but not like we can ask him to mail it to us without him getting worried about what we're obviously going to do." Yang said before grinning, "And I think I know someone who can help."

"Great, let's go," Weiss said.

"Hold on, maybe you should stay back here in case Neo or someone else tries to attack," Ruby responded.

"What about him?" Weiss asked as she pointed to Sasuke.

"I'm going, then if we are attacked, we know who they were targeting," Sasuke said as Weiss scowled.

"Then it's settled," Yang said as she clapped her hands, "Sasuke, Ruby, Lee, and I will leave now."

"Wait why us?" Rock Lee said as Ruby nodded.

"Because the two of you can keep up with my bike better than the others." Yang responded, "Okay team, let's go!" she said before leaving the room with the others soon following.

A short while later.

At The Club, the bar was just closing as the staff started to clean the tables. The bartender was possibly a glass before he heard a faint voice, "Dynamic Entry!" he heard as Rock Lee busted through the front door, knocking it off its hinges. The bartender looked at the bushy-browed shinobi a gasped before all his goons aimed their guns at him, "Uh Yang, are you sure this was allowed here." Rock Lee said as the other walked in.

"Yeah, I do it all the time." Yang said as she turned to the bartender, "Sup Junior, need a favor."

"Blondie, why?" Junior responded as he put down his glass, "The insurance agency already raised my rate from your last visit."

"Relax, we're only here to talk and not wreck the place." Yang responded, "Except the door?" she said before looking to Rock Lee, "In fact, you can help clean this place and fix the door."

"Understood you can count on me!" Rock Lee said before picking up one of the massive doors, causing the goons to gasp at his strength, "I built and repaired my dojo, this is nothing to me."

"Great, Ruby help clean too," Yang responded.

"Kay," Ruby said before dashing over the pace, to pick up all the empty bottles.

"See, all good right." Yang said to Junior while she and Sasuke walked up the bar, "So, about that favor."

"Gah, fine, what is it?" Junior asked.

"We need a Bingo Book." Sasuke asked, "Assuming this establishment, I don't need to clarify this, do I?"

"No, I get it." Junior responds, "I recently just got a couple I was going to see off for some extra cash."

"Great, well take one for free." Yang commented back as Junior glared back, "Come on, do me a solid."

"You are the worst kind of customer," Junior responded as he walked away.

"Oh, and a strawberry sunrise for me while you're at it." Yang added as Junior clenched his fist, "You want anything?"

"No." Sasuke responded, "And don't ask the others."

"Okay, grumpy pants," Yang responded as Junior walked away. In a short while, he returned to give Sasuke a black booklet and Yang her drink, "Thank you kindly."

"Just take it and go," Junior responded, "And don't break any more of my club."

"Right, just give me a minute for this." She said before taking a sip as Sasuke started to flip through the bingo book, "So, how do we know where to start in this thing."

"I have a guess," Sasuke responded, opening to a page, "And it was right," he said while showing the page to Yang, revealing a man with long blond hair that covered one of his eyes, a sinister smirk on his face, "Mercenary specializing in explosive jutsus, and member of the Akasuki, Deidara."

"Oh, so she is our bomber?" Yang responded, then looked closer, "He."

"Wait, do you mean that explosion earlier today?" Junior asked, "The news just said it was a dust accident."

"Nope," Yang asks before realizing something, "Wait, you said he's a member of the Akasuki, what's that?"

"They're an elite group of mercenaries that have led to the death of the strongest shinobi in the land." Sasuke responded, "Not much is known about them as a whole, over even their endgame, but they are not to be taken lightly."

"You speak as if you've met some before." Junior asked, "In fact, when I was looking through the book, you sort of looked like one of the guys in those weird cloaks."

"And what information do you have on him?" Sasuke said as his glare narrowed.

"I would answer him Junior; I have a feeling he will not be as nice to you or this place as I was," Yang added.

"Tsk, I'm not taking this." Junior said before turning to a red and white clade pair of identical girls, "Malachite twins, get them!"

"No, last time we fought her, I broke a few ribs," Melanie responded as Yang smirked.

"And I don't want to fight him, he's hot." Miltia added, "If he wants information, give it to him."

"Why did I hire you two then?" Junior asked before the twins left out the back door, "Damnit." He said before looking back to Sasuke, "I know nothing about him or any of these freaks. But if you think one of these guys is in Vale, then I need to get out of here as soon as I can."

"I would recommend that," Sasuke responded, "Assume you aren't already in contact with them." He said as Junior gritted his teeth, "Why else would you already have the Bingo Books? The only people who would benefit from them here are people like us trying to find answers, and people like them trying to find targets."

"Oh, he can see through your lies." Yang said before taking a sip of her drink, "You're in trouble now."

"Grrr." Junior gritted him as a line of sweat ran down his face.

At the same time, Rock Lee had placed the door back in hinges, "There, all set." He said as Ruby rushed over, "I see you are finished cleaning."

"Yeah, even went back to sweep up the rose petals." Ruby said before holding out two white flasks, "But I found these bottles nearly full like they barely drank anything."

"What is it?" Rock Lee said as he took one of the bottles.

"I don't know, I think milk." Ruby responded, "So, cheers to cleaning up this place in record time?" she said as she raised the bottles.

"Cheers." Rock Lee said as he clinked their glasses together and downed the flasks, "Gah, it tastes too bitter for milk."

"Blah, yeah, this might have gone so-hiccup!" Ruby said before she and Rock Lee dropped the bottles.

At the bar, Sasuke continued to glare at Junior, "I'm done wasting time, tell me what you know about It-" he said before a loud crash was heard. He, Yang, and Junior turned to see the door broken in half on the ground.

"See, I knew could topple the domino." Rock Lee said with a goofy smile and red cheeks. Then heard multiple guns locking onto him, and he turned to see the goons aimed at their target, "Hey, what is wrong with you?" he said before having a wobble glare, "Don't you know it impolite to stare!" he said before rushing in. the goons opened fire, but no shot could hit Rock Lee as he dodges all over the place, then uppercut the goon with a mustache, "Teyah!" he then kicked one in the stomach before headbutting another, then throwing a wild jab into another one into the face. One by one he knocked out the goons.

"Lee, what's gotten into you!?" Yang called out.

"Tsk, his sensei warned us of this," Sasuke said as Yang turned to him, "If Lee ever drinks alcohol, he will become a tornado of chaos that will destroy all in its path."

"And you brought him to a bar!?" Junior responded, "I'm out of here." He said before running to the back exit.

"Hang on, we're not done yet!" Sasuke said as he chased after him, but was cut off by Ruby, "Out of my way."

"But you're in my way." Ruby said as she looked up at Sasuke, her cheeks as red as she hood, "And it's my way or the highway!" She said before quickly drawing her scythe and slashing it upwards. Sasuke jumped back, narrowly avoiding his chin getting slashed.

"Ruby, don't tell you drank too." Yang shouted back, "You're too young!"

"So are you!" Ruby asked while wobbling, "And I know you are but what am I?"

"Great, they're both like this now." Sasuke said before seeing Junior exit out the backdown, "Tsk, Yang, I'll calm down Ruby, you focus on Lee."

"Got it," Yang said before quickly downing the rest of her strawberry sunrise, "Okay Lee, time to sober up." She said before readying her gauntlets, "Don't make me hurt you."

"You wanna fight?" Rock Lee responded, "I'll fight you on your own level, come on!" he said before dashing in. Yang assumed a defensive stance at first as Lee unleashed a flurry of random punches and kicks. She blocked the strikes while looking for an opening, then went for an uppercut. However, the attack missed as Lee grabbed her arm, then tossed her over his shoulder and onto the floor, creating a quake on impact, "See, what goes around comes around!" he said before Yang grabbed his collar with his other hand, "Gah!"

"Right back at you!" she said before slamming his body into the ground with a larger quake. She then moved to sit on his chest, unleashing a barrage of punches into his face.

Nearby, Sasuke drew his sword as he attempted to parry Ruby's scythe slashes. However, she kept switching her weapon type from scythe to snipper, attempting potshots where she could, "Come one, hold still!" Ruby responded, "How can I hit you if you keep dodging?"

"You can't hit me," Sasuke said before revealing his eyes had changed, showing a red and black combination now, "While your movements are random, I can still see just far enough ahead to know where you'll strike."

"In that case, predict this!" Ruby said before chucking her Cresent Rose like a boomerang. Sasuke ducked the weapon toss, causing the blade to imbed in the wall behind him. He tried to refocus on Ruby, but she was goon. Suddenly, he felt her arms coil around his stomach as she was behind him, "I saw Yang do this one," she said before lifting Sasuke and suplexing him into the floor, "Ha!" she said before sparks of electricity radiated from his body. Ruby jumped back before she could have been hit with a thunderstrike. Sasuke then positioned to one knee, holding out his right hand with the sword, then unleashing a beam of lighting. However, Ruby dodge the attacks, the static never hitting her skin.

At the same time, Yang unleashed her last punch to what she thought was an unconscious Lee. As her breathing was heavy, Lee sat up and laughed in her face, "Haha, you fell for it! I was only fake sleeping." Lee said before headbutting Yang off him, "Now for the final combo!" he said before charging in with more punches and kicks. Yang struggled to read his moments as he went for a left cross, but as it missed, a right jab from under connected with her stomach, sending her back, "Gotcha!"

"Okay, that's it!" Yang said as her eyes went red, her hair glowed fiery yellow. She then rocketed herself back at Lee with a flurry of punches, but Lee dodged them all.

At the same time, Sasuke recalled the lighting from his blade, causing Ruby to giggle, "What, you are giving up?" She asked.

"I'm ending this now," Sasuke said as he vanished for a moment.

"Huh?" Ruby said before she was kicked in the chin into the air. Sasuke then appeared behind Ruby, then placed his left hand on her back. He pivoted her body, but Ruby blocked the hit. However, before she could react, the second hit was already in motion as Sasuke crashed his left forearm into her neck. The two were rocketing back to the ground as Sasuke landed a gut punch on Ruby, puffing her cheeks.

Meanwhile, Yang's assault grew more violet as Lee dodged. However, in randomly placing his feet on the ground, he slipped on a bottle. Yang focused and unleashed a barrage of punches to his face, "Tsk, no way!" Lee said before doing a drunken leaf hurricane. However, Yang dodges by firing a shot of her gauntlets downward, ducking the kick. With her other arm, she clenched her fist with embers glowing.

At the same moment as Yang's burning gut buster hit, Sasuke unleashed a final kick into Ruby's stomach right as she hit the floor. Both the drunken fighters vomited the alcohol in their systems and then passed out on the floor. Yang and Sasuke stood up as they turned to each other, "So that move you just did," She said with a smirk, "Did you copy that from Naruto during our opening fight?"

"He copied it from me." Sasuke clarified as Yang giggled.

A short while later, Ruby and Lee started to regain consciousness, "Uh, what happened?" Lee asked.

"Why does my head hurt," Ruby added, "And my chin, and my stomach."

"Long story short, you both got drunk." Yang answered, "Junior got away, but we got the bingo book at least."

"Sorry," Lee responded, pointing to the bottles on the ground, "It was those that we drank."

"We thought it was milk." Ruby responded, "And they were practically full."

"Yeah, don't do that, especially in a place like this." Yang responded as Sasuke walked over to the bottles, "What are they?"

"Saki." Sasuke said after he sniffed the bottle, "It's more common in the land we're from."

"I see, but if someone here ordered them." Yang pointed out, "Then might be from your kingdom."

"And if they were almost full." Sasuke said before dropping the bottle, "Then they're probably nearby still." He said before looking out the exit Junior ran out of, "Let's go." He said as he rushed out. Yang nodded and followed, as well as Ruby and Lee. They reached the back alleyway before seeing a sight that made them gasp.

Walking with his body mangled, blood on his tattered bartender uniform, Junior approached them, "You realized what you've done." Junior said as held his right arm, which appeared to be broken, "He found me and learned that I met with you, and this is what they did!"

"Junior, I-" Yang said before being cut off.

"NO, SHUT UP!" Junior shouted back, "You ruined what a simple gig I had going, all for your selfish gains and exploiting my wellbeing." He said as Yang gritted her teeth, not sure how to respond, "This is all your fault, my blood is on your hands!"

"You're the one who associated with dangerous people first," Sasuke responded, "This was bound to happen to you without our involvement."

"Junior, let me help, if we go to the police now, I'm sure they can-" Just as Yang approached him, an arm busted out of his chest. Yang's eyes widened as the blood splattered on her face. The other gasped in horror at the sight.

Junior looked down in horror as his own beating heart was in his hand, which was then crushed in a single squeeze. "AAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Junior screamed in agony as his body was violently dragged back into the alley shadows, followed by a dead silence.

"Wha-what just happened?" Yang said before looking down at Junior's body over her body, "Aaaaaa AAAAAA!" she screamed before the others pulled back into the club back entrance.

"Yang, calm down!" Ruby spoke to her older sister, "Look at me, we need to stay calm."

"Ruby," Yang said before taking a few breaths.

"We need to retreat." Rock Lee spoke, "Fall back to the others." He said before seeing Sasuke looking out to the alley, "Sasuke?"

"Something else is coming," he said as the others gasped, looking down the alley. As they did a dark abomination appeared. Its body was pitch black and had a white, bone-like mask with red marks on its lips.

"Is that a Grimm in Vale?" Ruby said before the mouth of the dark abomination opened wide, sounding like broken bones.

An intense heat formed in its maw as a voice was heard in the distance, "Fire Style: Searing Migraine!" suddenly an eruption of fire exploded from the mouth towards its target. Sasuke quickly performed his fireball jutsu to combat the flames, but the clash only lasted a few seconds before an explosion destroyed The Club.

Near the entrance of the burning building, the four stood with heavy breathing, "Lucky the door was taken off again, we might not have run out in time." Rock Lee commented.

"Yeah," Ruby said before hearing sirens, "We need to leave now." She said before turning to Yang, "Are you okay on your bike."

"Yeah, I'll be fine," Yang responded before they started their retreat. As Sasuke hopped on the motorcycle with Yang, he looked back at the flames with a scowl before they all left the scene. From the other side of the build, the dark abomination merged into the back of an individual only leaving the mask on the shoulder blade. The man then put on his black cloak with red clouds before walking away.

AN: There you go, a very intense chapter. We see the team split up for now to get more information and go to The Club for that. I liked the dynamic here with Sasuke and Yang, it was almost wholesome how they act with one another. Also got to have Loopy Lee and Zoomies Ruby having a drunk time in The Club, which was very fun to make. However, my favorite part was the ending moment with the reveal that there is not just one new player in vale, and he has already dealt with some loose ends.
