In a pocket dimension, completely isolated in space and time, existed the headquarters of the Sirens and the META's who had allied with each other to destroy humanity. The leader of this dangerous group was an incredibly powerful Siren. Like her namesake, she was a hunter, a being that hurt and controlled others. Her name was Predator.
The blue-skinned Siren had returned from destroying another timeline alongside her fellow Sirens and a number of allied META's, led by Shoukaku META. While the destruction of that timeline had gone well, the blue-skinned Siren was made aware of a potentially catastrophic problem as soon as she returned.
"That Zuikaku...it can't be possible that she is the aunt of the child that was taken from that timeline. The Sirens I sent should have killed every single KANSEN...including her. But, if she truly is the girls aunt, then this is a problem. If that girl informs Shoukaku of her existence...she will know that is not her child. Shoukaku will no doubt turn on us, I can't let that happen!" the Siren knew the gravity of the situation. This Tsubaki couldn't inform Shoukaku META of the existence of this Zuikaku.
Predator knew that without question, Shoukaku META would turn on herself and the rest of the Sirens if she discovered the truth regarding this version of her daughter. While Predator was confident she was far more powerful than the META crane, the blue-skinned Siren still needed her for her plan to destroy humanity.
Predator also needed her help to eventually destroy the version of the Azur Lane that existed in the same timeline as the other Tsubaki that she discovered. While the Siren had confidence in her incredible strength, Predator was no fool.
Many of her fellow Sirens who had fought this iteration of the Azur Lane had fallen to them, they had either underestimated their enemy or were overconfident in their power.
Predator was not going to make the same mistake as them...
The blue-skinned Siren knew that it was best to weaken them before striking, and the best way to do that was to use the tried and tested method.
Divide and conquer...
Predator had already begun her plan by giving Kowalski a wisdom cube, a wisdom cube that would begin dividing the Azur Lane from the top, all the way to the bottom. Once the Azur Lane began fighting amongst itself, Kowalski could then remove the commanders daughter while the different factions were ripping each other apart. Then, her fellow Sirens and the allied META's could finish this version of the Azur Lane off.
Predator didn't want to take any chances with the Azur Lane, many powerful KANSEN existed in this iteration of it. Enterprise, Bismarck, Nagato, Queen Elizabeth, and so many more powerful shipgirls belonged to this timelines Azur Lane. All those names alone in one place made the Siren realise that she couldn't take them all on her own.
Predator couldn't afford to risk having Shoukaku META turn against her...
The Siren knew that she had to prevent this version of Tsubaki from talking, Predator had to wipe the memories of Zuikaku from the young girls mind. But, there was another problem...
"Ever since I brought that girl to Shoukaku, She has not wanted to leave her side. I need to separate them somehow. If I can separate them for a short period of time, I will be able to wipe the girls mind of her memories of that Zuikaku. She won't be able to say anything if she doesn't remember her."
Predator began to think of a way to separate them, "Shoukaku didn't come with me to destroy the last timeline, she was more concerned about being around that girl. I can convince her to go to another timeline to destroy it, that should give me more than enough time to wipe that girls mind." The Siren thought of a way to separate the two. With her plan in mind, the blue-skinned Siren began to make her way to the META cranes living quarters.
Once Predator arrived at Shoukaku META's living area, the Siren opened the doors. Looking inside the white room, the Siren could see the META crane brushing the hair of the Half-KANSEN. Both the META and the alternate Tsubaki had smiles on their faces, they were clearly enjoying each other's company. Predator decided to brake up the moment of bonding between the two and called out to Shoukaku META, "KANSEN! I wish to speak with you! Right now!"
Both Shoukaku META and Tsubaki turned to look at who had called out and they could see Predator at the entrance. The META crane wasn't happy that her moment with Tsubaki had been disturbed, "What is it you want, Predator? Can't you see I'm spending time with my daughter? Why don't you come back another time?" Shoukaku META didn't want her time with who she believed was her daughter to be disturbed by the Siren and was telling her to leave.
This only began to anger the powerful Siren, "Do not defy me, KANSEN! I'm ordering you to speak with me! Don't have to make me say it again!" Predator wasn't going to tolerate Shoukaku META's defiance, there was a tone to her voice that was telling the META crane there would be consequences if she tried to defy her again.
Shoukaku META could sense this and stopped brushing the hair of the half-KANSEN, "Don't worry Tsubaki, I'm just going to speak with my acquaintance. I won't be gone long." Shoukaku told Tsubaki that she wouldn't be gone long when she finished brushing her hair. The young girl replied, "Okay, Mama." clearly sounding sad that she was going to be separated from her supposed mother with who she had just reunited with.
Shoukaku META then reluctantly left the Half-KANSEN's side and began making her way to join Predator at the entrance of her living quarters. Once the META crane was with the Siren, Predator shut the doors so the young girl couldn't hear the conversation that was about to take place between the two.
Once she was certain that Tsubaki couldn't hear them talk, Predator turned to look at the META crane, "I don't appreciate what you are doing, KANSEN. You are spending too much time with that girl. You are forgetting our mission." Predator was clearly displeased that Shoukaku META was spending too much time with the alternate Tsubaki, and not enough time killing humans.
Shoukaku META's looked offended at the blue-skinned Sirens statement, "I haven't forgotten our mission, Predator. I simply want to spend time with my daughter, my daughter who I thought I would never see again. So, you will have to forgive me if I don't want to destroy more humans at the moment." Shoukaku META gave Predator an explanation as to why she didn't want to kill anymore humans at the moment, it didn't mean she had forgotten her mission.
"You listen to me, KANSEN. You owe me. I saved your life, I brought your daughter back as I promised, because of me you have the power to kill as many humans as you wish. Are you going to forgive the humans for what they did to you? To your daughter? To all of your loved ones? If so, then you are of no use to me. And that goes for your daughter as well. If you no longer wish to be of any use, then I will be more than happy to take away all I have given you. The choice is yours, KANSEN." Predator was trying to coerce Shoukaku META into doing her bidding.
The blue-skinned Siren was trying to attack from multiple angles. Predator was using both what happened to her and threats against herself and Tsubaki. The Siren didn't want to destroy the META crane, but was more than willing to do so if she was no longer willing to kill humans. Getting rid of Shoukaku META however, would mean that Predator could use this Tsubaki to turn into the ultimate weapon. Still, the Siren was willing to at least give the META crane a chance to continue their alliance.
Shoukaku META was angry at Predator for threatening her supposed daughter, but then remembered what the humans had taken from her. The humans that she had sworn to protect; they betrayed her and all those she cared about..
The META crane remembered John was gunned down by his allies...
All her friend slaughtered by those who she thought she could trust...
Tsubaki dying in her arms...
Shoukaku META could never forgive the humans for what they had done...
In the mind of the META crane, humans were a disease on existence, and she was the cure. The expression on the face of Shoukaku META began to darken the more she remembered everything, and Predator could see it.
The blue-skinned Siren could see that her words had an effect on the META crane, the META looked primed and ready to begin another slaughter of humans. "Very well, Predator. What do you wish of me?" Shoukaku META asked the Siren what she wanted her to do. "Since you didn't come with me to the last timeline, and want you to head to and timeline and destroy it. Kill every single human you can find, spare no one." Was the Sirens answer.
Shoukaku META was more than willing to kill more humans. The META wanted to make sure none of them would ever try to hurt her daughter again, the humans would pay dearly for what they had done. The META crane turned around and opened up a portal, then stepped into it to look for a timeline to hunt humans.
Once she was sure that Shoukaku META was gone, Predator then turned to the doors of Shoukaku META's living space and opened them up. In the white room was the alternate Tsubaki, she was all on her own and completely defenceless. The blue-skinned Siren marched up towards the young girl and grabbed her, Tsubaki instantly knew she was in danger and began shouting for her mother to save her.
Predator however, knew that Shoukaku META wouldn't be coming to rescue the half-KANSEN and began to drag her out of the room. The alternate Tsubaki struggled as much as she could to escape the grasp of the Siren but to no avail, Predator was simply too strong.
The intense struggling lasted for several minutes until the blue-skinned Siren had enough, "You listen to me, girl! If you value your life, you had best stop this fruitless resistance of yours! No one is coming to help you! Do you understand?!" Predator threatened the half-KANSEN while holding a weapon to her neck. In truth, the blue-skinned Siren didn't intend on harming the young girl. But, Tsubaki's struggling was getting on her nerves and she wanted it to stop.
The alternate Tsubaki could feel the weapon pointed at her neck and immediately surrendered to the blue-skinned Siren. All the young girl could do was silently cry as she was being dragged away to wherever Predator was taking her, the half-KANSEN was completely at her mercy.
Several minutes later, Predator and Tsubaki arrived at a room that looked like a dentists. In the middle of the room was a chair and a light shining down on it. The blue-haired Siren threw the half-KANSEN onto the chair then put straps on her arms and legs to prevent Tsubaki from escaping.
As soon as the young girl was locked in place, Predator then went towards a machine and brought it closer to Tsubaki. The Siren then pulled out two wires with diodes attached at the end of them and stuck then on the girls forehead. The alternate Tsubaki really began to panic, she thought the Siren was going to hurt her but knew she couldn't do anything in her current position.
Predator then turned the machine on. When the machine was powered on the young girl expected to feel pain, but no pain came. However, after a few seconds, Tsubaki then felt her memories began to fog. The young girl didn't understand what was going on as more and more of her memories began to fog, and she began to forget a certain individual.
Memories of her aunt Zuikaku began to become more and more clouded, the alternate Tsubaki began to forget all the times that her aunt saved her. Tsubaki tried to keep her memories or her aunt, but the more she tried to resist, the more her mind became clouded. Eventually, the half-KANSEN began to feel mentally exhausted. The strain of her trying to remember her aunt caused the young girl to fall asleep in the chair.
"Good, this will make things easier." Predator knew now that the half-KANSEN was asleep, it would be easier to wipe the girls mind. After several minutes, the machine powered down. The blue-skinned Siren then unstrapped Tsubaki from her chair then began to take the sleeping half-KANSEN back to the room that she shared with Shoukaku META.
As she was walking back, Predator began to grin menacingly. Now that this girl in her arms wouldn't be able to remember her aunt, Shoukaku META would be completely under her control. The META would have no reason to turn on her now.
With Shoukaku META's complete loyalty, Kowalski working in the background, and no doubt the humans distrusting the Azur Lane. It would soon fall and Predator would be able to get her hands on the other Tsubaki.
Predator could not wait. Once she had her hands on the other Tsubaki and turned her into the ultimate weapon...
Humanity would be finished...
