I hope you guys are all right after surviving the London special today. Even I was scared too to see the sad scenes but we all managed to survive until seeing the ending of the special that made our day better. I'm not gonna spoil it for those who did not see it yet.
The next day was the big day at the Eiffel Tower, where he was celebrating his birthday for the first time in the 21st century. Adrien had never felt happier in his life. As a human, he remembered too many of his family members getting invited, and he never had real friends to celebrate with him. But he was more happy the love of his life would be there.
"This is it" He straightens himself up.
"I did tell you to just be yourself. When living in the 21st century, it doesn't matter how you dress. Plus, that shirt I made you buy matches your badass personality" Felix pointed at the shirt with green cat eyes.
"I hope it doesn't give away my identity," Adrien said.
"Pretend you're a fan of Claw Noir" Felix putting up the Happy Birthday banner, "And besides, call it a white lie"
"Of course," Adrien said.
"I get this is your first time. Your friends want to throw you a special one. Ever since you came into our lives, everything changed and you helped change their lives at school. Plus, a second chance at new life you never had" Felix said, climbing down the ladder.
"Heh, even after all the misery you went through, it's like I helped you look on the bright side" Adrien chuckled and set up the drinks on the table.
"You sure did. And you finding your bride" Felix said.
"Yes, well, and saving your ass too" Adrien blushed.
"You saved everyone's asses than just mine. Without biting my ass" Felix reminded him how he did try to burn him in sunlight the day they first met but Adrien never had the intention to attack him.
"Yep, my bite can be quite painful," Adrien said.
"Yes, well, biting my wrist was like a pinch," Felix said.
"Mmhmm. Anyway, I gotta hide now since our friends will be here to help you decorate. I am the master of lurking in the shadows" Adrien morphed into a cat to blend in.
"Copy that" Felix resumed.
It only took an hour to finish until Adrien was at the elevator to arrive at the first level of the tower.
"Happy birthday!" His friends all cheered.
"Thank you everyone!" Adrien said as he walked up to them and his girlfriend, "Glad you made it"
"I would never miss my prince's birthday," Marinette said.
"And I would never miss it my first time," Adrien said.
Marinette smiled and kissed him, "Here's a gift for you, Aiden" Marinette handed him a gift box.
"Merci, princess" Adrien unwrapped it and it was a picture frame heart with him and her in it.
"You're welcome," Marinette said.
"Very nice but I hope you like my gift, dude. Inspired by your badass style" Nino hands him his.
Adrien opened the gift and inside it was a black hoodie with a Big Ben logo since Nino thought he was from London, "Thanks lad" Adrien used his fake British accent.
"London was your home, Paris is now your new home," Nino said.
"Yeah, after a year living here," Adrien said.
"Thanks, man" Adrien thanked him.
"You're welcome," Nino said.
After everything was settled. Nino played the DJ while everyone was partying. Adrien met up with Marinette again. He loves to be sneaky again since it's in his vampire nature but he loves to see his princess having a steady composure. He positioned his mouth near her neck behind her but simply teased her.
"Boop. Like I said, you're not easy to get scared" Adrien purred.
"Yikes!" Marinette acted scared.
Adrien made her turn around, "Have I ever told you how dangerously beautiful you are today?"
"Like a princess of darkness?" Marinette teased.
"Indeed" Adrien grabs his fruit punch drink.
"Heh, it's like you're becoming very wild in the jungle city at night. Do you ever imagine if some would say you'll become the first petite man by the time you're an adult?" Marinette asked.
"Well, that I got a condition with lucky genes" Adrien winked.
"And I thought bad luck is what you're good at" Marinette teased.
"Not as long you're my lucky charm," Adrien said.
"Am I?" Marinette smirked.
"Of course" Adrien smirked back.
Nearby, Felix watched with Kagami as the two had their moment.
"Just like a fairytale," Felix said.
"More romantic as I see in ways of how they bond," Kagami said.
"Through a long way," Felix replied.
"Do you think their relationship will remain strong for them?" Kagami asked.
"I certainly hope so" Felix replied.
Adrien and Marinette slowly danced to the music while everyone else did the same. Adrien looked into Marinette's shiny blue eyes as they danced.
"Even though you fight like a cat but you're still a man within," Marinette said.
"Yep, And I'm glad I met a girl who brings good luck, bringing balance to creation and destruction," Adrien said.
"Like a kitten chasing a ladybug," Marinette said.
"Kittens love to play" Adrien slowly danced.
Marinette rested her head on his chest during the dance until her eyes shot open when she heard him purr, "Are you purring?"
"Maybe. Cats purr when they are loved" Adrien purred.
"Oh Adrien" Marinette giggled.
"You're too cute when you giggle," Adrien said.
"And you're always such a charmer. Did you hypnotize me?" Marinette asked with a tease.
"Nope, I didn't" Adrien replied.
"Bad boy" Marinette slowly danced.
Adrien resumed dancing with her, the Eiffel Tower shining green and red to honor Ladybug and Claw Noir.
Pretty soon it was time for the cake and everyone wished a happy birthday to Adrien, even honoring him as their miracle for changing their lives at school. He blew out the candles after making his wish.
"Happy birthday Adrien!" They all cheered.
"Thanks, guys" Adrien smiled.
"17 is like close to being a grownup until high school graduation," Nino said.
"I can't wait til graduation," Adrien said.
"Do you have a future career?" Alya asked.
"Well, no. I just haven't thought of what I want to be" Adrien said, knowing how in his timeline, it's much different than modern.
"Take your time then" Alya shrugs.
"Thanks. And the good cake your parents made, my love. Especially with the Eiffel Tower art cake" Adrien said.
"You're welcome," Marinette said.
"You became the light in my life when we first met" Adrien held her hand.
"Same too. From all that suffering I felt alone, but you changed me" Marinette said.
"And you changed my life," Adrien said before giving her a slice of cake.
"Thanks" Marinette accepted the slice.
"Best bakery in Paris, my dude. That's why we love your girl" Nino said.
"Well, she's our everyday Ladybug," Alya said.
"Sort of" Marinette chuckled nervously.
"And I'm your everyday miracle" Adrien ate his slice, "Mmm, delicious and very lovely"
"Well, we picked the best flavor," Marinette said.
"Indeed. Which you taught between salt and sugar in metaphors. Like Chloe's salt is too salty while your sugar is more sweet and yummy. But mixing it together is very…..yucky" Adrien said.
"Exactly. Plus, you do enjoy macaroons which is like my kindness to you" Marinette said before realizing that too much sweets can make one very thirsty for milk, "But too much sweetness requires milk too" She grabbed a cup of milk.
"Yep," Adrien drank his glass of milk too.
"You guys really came a long way," Luka said.
"The very long way, Luka," Adrien said.
"Pretty much," Luka said.
"But still, this cake is good. I…..I never tried cake in all my life" Adrien made a white lie.
"Well, the first one's the best" Marinette said.
"You have got to teach me about baking," Adrien said.
"I will one day," Marinette said.
Pretty soon it was dawn and the Eiffel Tower lit up. Everyone watched and enjoyed the view. Adrien watched in amazement, thinking Gustave Eiffel would have been proud. But at least by now, it has become the most famous monument in of all France.
"This is the best day of my life," Adrien said.
"And for all of us, my prince" Marinette hugged him.
"My princess" They shared a kiss.
"I love you Adrien Agreste" Marinette said.
"I love you too Marinette Dupain-Cheng," Adrien said.
