Hey there everyone! I've got the next chapter ready for you guys and I really hope you enjoy it. Thanks so much for reading, and I'll see you next time!

***UPDATE 12/19/22: Hey guys, just letting you know there won't be an update this week. If you read Whatever Comes Next, you'll know that I've been sick recently, as well as working pretty much every day, and I didn't have a chance to get any writing done this past week. I'm so sorry for the late notice, but hopefully here soon I'll start to feel better and be able to get back into it. Thank you all for understanding, and I'll see you next week!

Chapter Two Hundred and One

Caitlyn held onto the straps of her backpack that were resting over her shoulders while she walked down the hallway of her school, the seven year old following in line as her and her classmates were led out into the lobby, where they were expected to meet up with their parents and those here to pick them up. It was the end of the school day, most of Caitlyn's classmates more than ready to get back home while loud chatter filled the air around her. But she wasn't too focused on that, as no matter how much she enjoyed spending time with her school friends, she was more excited to see her parents. Or what she was expecting to be her parents, Caitlyn not entirely sure who would be picking her up today, but she was eager nonetheless, the little girl keeping her eyes peeled as soon as they walked into the larger room.

With all the parents and family around, children started getting ushered off towards their guardians, Caitlyn still glancing through the room to try and find any sort of a familiar face. And soon she did, her smile widening when she spotted her dad and godfather standing a few feet away, up against the wall out of the way. But when he saw her, Matt started to move forward as well, Severide following a few steps behind him as Caitlyn began to bounce up and down excitedly in her spot.

"Hi Mr. Casey." One of the teacher's aides spoke up, Matt greeting her before she let Caitlyn break away from the group, needing the assurance she was going to a trusted guardian before returning her attention to the other children.

"Daddy!" Caity spoke up happily while running towards her father, closing the short distance between them in seconds before launching herself into his arms.

He caught her easily, Matt wrapping an arm around her backpack while his other stayed underneath her to support her body weight, the dad still having no issue holding his daughter. And, for as long as he could, he'd continued to pick her up like this, as he knew a day would come where he wouldn't be able to, Casey holding onto her a little tighter before beginning to pepper her face with kisses. "Hi princess." He replied after a moment, hearing the soft giggles that escaped her lips before she wrapped her arms around his neck. "How was your day?"

"It was good." She said lightly, resting her head against his for a moment while they started moving towards the exit, Caitlyn content with her dad as she looked around him towards Severide. "Hi Uncle Kelly." She greeted seconds later, Kelly giving her a smile before he moved through the door out into the comfortable May air.

"Hi squirt." He responded, reaching out to pat the top of her head as she and Matt passed by him while he held the door open.

"I didn't know you'd be here to get me." She commented, Matt rubbing over her side before he carefully put her down onto the ground once they were away from the crowds. But Caitlyn never went too far, keeping a tight hold on his hand as she was now standing between her dad and uncle.

"Yeah, I was at your house and decided to tag along with your dad while your mom stayed home with Sof." He explained to her, Caity grinning easily before she nodded.

"I'm glad you came, I can tell you about school." She replied happily, Severide and Casey both letting out easy laughs before the former nodded.

"I'd love to hear about your day, Caity." He said, Caitlyn then reaching her other hand up to grab ahold of his before the three of them began to move down the sidewalk.

"Good!" She told him without much hesitation, Kelly releasing another dry laugh before glancing up towards Matt.

"She really is Dawson's daughter." He spoke, Matt scoffing lightly as he shook his head, though he knew how true Severide's words were.

"Uncle Kelly, did you know I only have one day of school left?" She asked him, not even fazed by his words as she regained her godfather's attention.

"I did, your dad was telling me how tomorrow is your last day… You're getting pretty old, kid." He teased, Caitlyn letting out a loud giggle while she looked up at her uncle. "Just turned seven, about to graduate first grade… Pretty soon you're gonna be working." He said, the little girl continuing to laugh while holding onto his hand. "And you know, since you're getting old, that also means your dad is getting old, too." Severide prodded, Matt unable to stop himself from rolling his eyes while Kelly glanced up at him. "What? Caity's heading into second grade. Sof's gonna be starting preschool… You're old, man."

Casey let out a quiet huff, while Caitlyn couldn't stop the laughter coming from her chest.

"You're so funny, Uncle Kelly." Caity spoke through her giggles, not noticing the glare forming across her father's face.

"Yeah, you're hilarious." Matt added on dryly before he dropped Caitlyn's hand long enough to reach up and lightly smack the back of Severide's head. An action Caity didn't miss, the girl gasping before she looked up at her dad.

"Daddy! That's not nice." She chastised, Kelly making no effort to hide his laughter while the seven year old's disapproving gaze focused on Matt. "You and Mommy say it's never nice to hit people."

"You're right baby, I'm sorry." He responded almost instantly, Caitlyn pausing for a moment before she nodded, ultimately accepting his apology.

"Okay." She replied, Severide letting out a laugh that gained Matt's attention.

"Usually it's me getting in trouble, not you." Kelly spoke lightheartedly, Casey sparing a glance down at Caitlyn to make sure she wasn't watching before he quickly flipped off his friend. The gesture only caused Severide to laugh more, Matt shaking his head back and forth while regaining his grip on Caitlyn's hand.

"So, what all did you do today, Caity?" Casey asked his daughter while they came to a stop at the end of the sidewalk, hoping to shift her focus elsewhere as they patiently waited for their turn to cross the street.

"We played games." She said, leaning her weight back while holding onto both of their hands. "And colored, and my teacher said we're gonna watch a movie tomorrow."

"That sounds so fun, baby."

"It is! I'm so excited." She said with a laugh, Severide smiling softly while looking down at the seven year old.

"Are you excited too about finishing up first grade?" He asked her, the girl pondering his question for a moment before she shrugged.

"I am, but sometimes I'm sad." She spoke honestly, prompting Matt to start rubbing his thumb along the back of her hand. "I'm gonna miss my friends and my teacher, and school is so fun. But I'll get to go to school again next year, and I think some of my friends are gonna be with me. And I'll make new friends, too." She rambled out, walking herself through this as much as she was Casey and Severide.

"You definitely will." Matt assured her, Caitlyn looking up at him with a small smile before they began to cross the street. "You'll make so many new friends, baby."

"Uh huh, I'll make lots of friends." She repeated him, Matt making sure to keep an eye on the paused traffic around them until he and his daughter made it across the street safely. "I'll miss my old friends, but I'll make new friends too."

"You will." Casey said again, getting the sense she needed to hear it as he knew sometimes change was still difficult for her. Especially when she was so comfortable in the environment she'd known since last fall. "And you don't have to say goodbye to everyone just yet, you'll see them all tomorrow. And at your graduation at the end of the week." He reminded her, seeing her features soften as she started to nod.

"Yeah! I'll still see everyone." She agreed just as they got to where Matt had parked, the three of them slowing their steps before Caity glanced back towards her godfather. "Are you coming to my graduation, Uncle Kelly?"

He was nodding before she could even finish her sentence, the movement causing her smile to widen with joy. "Of course, kid. I wouldn't miss it for the world." He assured her, giving her hand a firm squeeze. "Me and Stella will be there. And I know your Aunt Jemma is coming as well."

"Yay!" She cheered, Severide letting out a soft laugh before the group broke apart and began to get into the car.

Kelly positioned himself in the passenger seat while Matt walked to the back with his daughter, opening the door before she climbed up into Gabby's SUV. Standing in front of her seat, she shrugged off her backpack, letting it fall to the floor before she got into her booster seat, Matt watching as she got situated before she reached back for the seatbelt. At her age, she was more than capable of getting herself buckled in without any assistance, but Matt liked to stay close regardless, ensuring she was securely placed in her seat as she clasped the buckle into place.

"Alright, I'd say we're good to go." He spoke after adjusting the strap across her chest to where it wasn't too high on her neck.

"Hey Daddy?" Caitlyn's voice suddenly cut in, Matt catching her gaze as his brows raised, hearing the edge of uncertainty in her words. He just wasn't sure what was causing it.

"Yeah baby?" He asked back, seeing the somewhat pensive look on her face before she eventually spoke up.

"...Is Mommy gonna be able to come to my party, too?"

His head tilted to the side, a wave of confusion rushing through him as he wasn't entirely sure what she was talking about. But, given their conversation from just moments ago, it began to click in his head. And once she continued on, is when he truly understood what she was asking him.

"I know she gets sleepy, and can't always come out with us. So I didn't know if she could come to my graduation." She added on, Matt drawing in a slow breath while he thought over how best to answer her.

Caitlyn was a perceptive kid, she always had been. So her picking up on how Gabby was beginning to slow down a bit, how she wasn't always able to join them on their outings or how she was needing a bit more rest than usual, that didn't necessarily surprise him. Because there wasn't much she didn't notice, especially when it came to her mom. But with that, he also knew his wife, and how there wasn't anything that would keep her away from her daughter's first grade graduation.

It was just going to be a small little ceremony at the school, something Caitlyn's teacher had put together for their class, but regardless Gabby would be there. That was certain.

And he needed Caitlyn to know that, too.

"I want her to be there, with you and Sofie and everyone. But I don't want her to feel bad, either." Caitlyn added when her dad had yet to say anything, Matt taking in another breath before shaking his head. "If she can't come, it's okay."

"Sweetheart, I love you for that but your Momma will be there." Matt was quick to tell her, as he didn't want her worrying about this any longer. "I appreciate you looking out for her, and I know she does too, but she wouldn't miss your big day for anything." He promised, seeing the way her features relaxed before she began to smile. It was small, but completely genuine as she gave him a soft nod. "So she'll be there, and so will I. And your sister, your Abuelo and Abuela. Tio Antonio, all your family is gonna be there."

Caitlyn became more and more excited as he spoke, before she nodded once more. "And Uncle Kelly and Aunt Jemma." She added, Matt hearing a laugh come from Severide in the front seat before he returned his attention back towards his daughter.

"Yes baby, they'll all be there." He told her, the bright grin returning to his daughter's face while her legs swung back and forth off the seat.

"Okay!" She responded, evidently content now that she'd gotten the assurance she needed from her father, Matt letting out a soft chuckle of his own before he leaned down to press a kiss to her head.

"Now, how about we head home and see your mom and sissy." He suggested, Caitlyn nodding happily back at him.

"And the baby!"

He laughed once more, while stepping back onto the sidewalk. "Yeah, and the baby." He agreed, Caity giving him one last smile before he carefully closed the door, Matt wasting no time in heading for the driver's seat and getting in, before starting up the car and heading off down the street, Casey more than ready to continue the rest of the day doing the one thing he loved more than anything else.

And that was spending time with his family.

Gabby stood back at the island in their kitchen while the sound of their friends and family filled the home, the soft smile on her face seeming to be permanently etched there as she took a slow drink of her water, Dawson giving herself a moment to just hang back and enjoy everyone's company as they had all gotten together to celebrate Caitlyn, and her achievement of finishing the first grade.

Earlier today had been her graduation, and it was safe to say that every person in this room was still feeling such an immense sense of pride towards the seven year old, and all she'd accomplished.

As expected, the get together at the school wasn't anything too huge. It wasn't a big ceremony that the school had put together, like they did for the kindergartners, but instead it was something that Caitlyn's teacher had planned, as a special way to send off her students into the next grade. So they'd had a small celebration for the kids, with little diplomas and graduation caps, where any and all family were encouraged to attend.

And everyone in the Casey and Dawson family had absolutely loved it.

Along with Matt and Gabby, and Sofia, Antonio, Ramon, and Camila had made sure to be there, with Severide, Kidd, and Jemma tagging along as well- as promised, and having everyone closest to Caitlyn there had made the day even more magical, if that was possible. But seeing first hand just how loved and supported their oldest daughter was, it was enough to make Gabby emotional. To the point of tears, the extra hormones in her system surely not helping matters as she'd lost it on more than one occasion today. But for as beautiful of a moment as it was, she didn't even care, Gabby just glad that she'd been able to be there to see her oldest baby finish up her time in the first grade, with all their loved ones there by her side.

And what had made the day even more special, if that was possible, is at one point after the celebration, Caitlyn's teacher had taken a moment to pull her and Matt aside, solely to praise their daughter and let them know how incredibly well she'd done this entire year in school. How she was meeting any and all expectations, and even surpassing a few of them, the conversation just another thing that had been enough to make Gabby cry as not only was seeing her baby graduate tear jerking, but hearing from her teacher- someone Caitlyn loved and respected, that she had done such a great job, Gabby was sure she'd never been more proud of her daughter.

With all she'd been through, everything she'd endured throughout her short life and all the challenges thrown her way, it was an indescribable feeling to know how well she'd done in getting through to the other side of it. That those developmental delays she'd come to them with, her being behind with a few of those skills kids her age typically already mastered and needing a bit of extra time and patience, that none of it had slowed her down. She had gotten past it, and that conversation with her teacher earlier only proved to Gabby what she already knew.

That her daughter was so incredibly gifted. She was such a smart, and caring little girl; her previous environment just hadn't supported her in the ways she needed. To where she'd fallen through the cracks and been let down by individuals who were meant to lift her up, on more than one occasion. But once she'd been surrounded by stability, and people who were willing to put in the work to help her, she was thriving. She'd been thriving. And Matt and Gabby were so incredibly proud of their daughter for it.

And right now, it felt like the perfect way to celebrate all of that, Gabby not bothering to stop the growing smile that stayed on her lips while she continued to look out towards her friends and family, who had all been sitting around the living room together for a few hours now. Ever since they finished their early dinner, which her parents had been kind enough to order in for them, they'd all just been happy to sit around and spend time together.

Caitlyn especially, she loved having everyone all in one place, the seven year old currently sitting on her father's lap while Sofia sat in Camila's on the couch next to them, everyone else finding seats around them while they continued enjoying their evening together.

"Hey girl."

Gabby looked up when she heard the familiar voice to find Jemma moving towards her, the sight of her best friend causing her face to soften before she gave her a welcoming look back. She hadn't noticed Norris get up, but she was more than glad to see her now as the younger woman came to a stop just a few steps away from her.

"How are you doing?" She questioned, seeing Dawson's head fall to the side slightly before Jemma let out a laugh. "I got the signal from Casey to come over here and check on you." She admitted without much prompting, Gabby scoffing lightly before she looked back across the room towards her husband, only to find him already watching her.

Based on his face alone, it was like he could tell she knew he'd sent Jemma over there, he just didn't care, Matt smiling shamelessly before giving her a wink and going back to his own conversations.

"I'm not too surprised by that." Gabby breathed out, seeing Jemma give her a knowing smirk before she continued. "But I'm fine, I'm feeling alright. Got a little sore sitting there for so long, but right now I'm good." She promised her, Jemma nodding in response as her hand came out to rub over her shoulder.

"Good… Now how about emotionally?" She pressed easily, Gabby shooting her a look before Jemma chuckled. "What? Don't give me that, I've seen you cry at least four times today… Your babies are growing up."

"Yeah, yeah. I know they are." Gabby waved her off with a smile that curled up on her lips. "And I'm okay there, too. It's just crazy… seeing how grown up they're both becoming. Watching Caitlyn finish the first grade today, it's like time is just going by so fast. But it's a good thing, a great thing even.. Today was perfect, and I'm so happy for Caity." Gabby told her, Jemma nodding understandingly while her hand continued to move back and forth over her arm. "But, depending on the conversation I can't promise I won't start crying again… these damn hormones." She joked, causing Jemma to laugh once more.

"Yeah, I can tell today's been a lot on you." Jemma sympathized, before turning her attention to Gabby's growing stomach. "So maybe if you could take it a little easier on your Momma there, babe." She spoke, Dawson unable to control her laughter while she shook her head. "She loves you, but you keep making her cry."

"Unfortunately, I don't think that'll stop anytime soon." Gabby spoke as her friend stood back up a little straighter. "Which I think is part of why Matt keeps having people come and check on me." She joked, while Jemma smirked.

"Well, he loves you. And you're growing a human in there, so I think that makes it like, impossible for people to not check on you." She countered, Dawson mulling over her words before she nodded.

"Fair point." Gabby conceded, the smile never leaving Jemma's face before she started to take a few steps back.

"You ready to head back over there with everyone? Or do you need to be up for a bit longer?" She checked, like she was ready to stand over here with her friend for as long as she wanted.

"No, I'm fine. We can go back." She told her, Jemma smiling softly before she began to move around the island. Though she didn't get very far before Gabby's voice stopped her. "But before we do, there's actually something I want to talk to you about." Gabby continued on, the statement catching Norris a bit off guard. But she nodded nonetheless, moving back towards her as the friends faced one another. "And I was actually just gonna wait and tell you tomorrow, but I guess now is as good of a time as any."

"What's up?" Jemma asked her, her eyes almost subconsciously moving down to Gabby's stomach. Like she knew what was coming before Dawson even said it.

"This probably won't be too surprising to you, given our conversations about work… But I've been talking to Matt, and thinking about it a lot. And I've decided it's time for me to step down from ambo." She said, Jemma giving her nothing but a gentle, yet knowing smile in response before she started to nod. "It just feels like the right time for me, and for the baby. I don't want to push myself. And I have that job Matt got for me, so I'll still be around… Just not on the rig anymore."

Jemma continued to smile, the woman looking over her before she pulled her in for a soft, meaningful hug. One Gabby fully reciprocated as the two partners held onto one another.

"I had a feeling this would be happening soon, but I'm still gonna miss you out there with me." She breathed out, giving her pregnant body an extra long hug before they separated. "But you're doing what's best for you and your baby. And I think it's the right decision, I really do." Jemma assured her, Gabby taking in a deep breath before she nodded.

"Yeah, I do too. And at least I'll be around you guys, working shifts and everything."

"I'm so glad for that." Jemma spoke warmly, letting her hands come to rest over Gabby's arms. "I know it won't be the entire shift, but it's better than not having you there at all." She added on, the two friends sharing another understanding look while it began to sink in more and more how their professional relationship was about to take a major shift. Even if it wasn't permanent, it was still a change. "When's your last shift, do you know yet?"

"It's tomorrow." She told her, Jemma drawing in a deep breath before she nodded. "And I know that's soon, I only decided last week that I was for sure ready to step down. But Matt's arranged for Anderson- you remember Claire. She worked with you when I was hurt." Gabby explained, though she didn't need to as Jemma remembered her well. "Yeah, she's gonna be on 61 while I'm out. Matt just got the go ahead yesterday to bring her on, so that'll be good… Someone we both know, and like. It won't mess things up too much." She spoke, allowing Jemma to nod once more.

"That sounds really good. I'm glad Matt was able to get her."

"Me too." Gabby agreed, while Jemma gave her arm a squeeze. "So yeah, after tomorrow things are gonna be a little different. I'll officially be handing over the rig to you." She said, earning a quiet laugh from her friend before she shook her head.

"Well, I'll try my best to take good care of it while you're gone… But when it's time, your spot will be there." She responded, the two friends sharing another quiet look before Gabby pulled her in for another hug. "You just gotta have my third little goddaughter first."

Gabby laughed once more before she held onto her best friend even tighter, no more words needing to be said between them as the day they knew was coming for weeks had finally arrived. And while it was bittersweet, they both knew it was the best thing for Dawson, and for her family. That Gabby was doing what she needed to do.

And that's all Jemma ever wanted for her.

Matt let out a long sigh as he stepped down off the bottom step onto the main floor of their home, turning off the light going upstairs before he continued further into the room. It was much how he left it before going upstairs, their living room and kitchen surprisingly clean after Ramon and Camila had insisted on picking up before they went home. And while neither Gabby or Matt asked for them to do that, now they were certainly glad they had, as their clean home would make it easier for them to wind down for the night.

And that was never more apparent than it was now, as Matt soon saw his wife curled up on the couch fast asleep. She was surrounded by pillows with her legs covered by a blanket, Casey smiling at the image in front of him before he kept on that way, her body language enough to tell him that while she was already sleeping, she wasn't in her deep sleep yet. And for the comfortability of all of them, he knew he needed to get her into the bedroom before that happened.

Being mindful of her positioning on the couch, Matt moved one of the pillows out of the way before placing his body down in the same spot, the shift in the furniture beginning to pull her from her light sleep. She never opened her eyes, but he could tell she was more alert than she had been seconds ago, Gabby slowly starting to lean into the warmth his body was providing. Her head rested down against his chest, Matt placing one arm around her shoulders while his other moved to her stomach, the smile on his face never diminishing as he felt her get comfortable in his embrace.

"...The girls' asleep?" Her groggy voice asked him, Matt nodding while his thumb stroked lightly back and forth over her stomach that was covered by one of his t-shirts.

"They are." He answered verbally, before pressing a kiss to her head. "Caity was out before I could even finish the first story, and Sof took a little more time but she's asleep now."

"Thank you." She told him, Casey nodding once more while he felt her take in a few deep breaths.

"I should probably get you to bed soon, too." He spoke lightly, practically able to feel her smile before she turned her face into his chest.

"The only way I'm moving is if you carry me." She replied teasingly, but Matt merely shrugged in response while kissing her head once more.

"Deal." He easily agreed, feeling her laugh softly before she dug herself deeper into his hold.

"I'll let you get me to bed in a minute, I'm too comfy right now." Gabby told him, her childlike demeanor endearing to him as he gave her a nod. "And so is the baby."

Matt smirked in response, her words causing his warm hand to start moving back and forth over her stomach, before he gently slid his palm underneath the shirt covering her body, wanting as much direct contact as he could get.

"Baby girl is resting, huh?"

"She is… Or she was, but whenever she hears you she gets really active. Like she's excited when she listens to your voice." Gabby spoke, her words going straight to his heart as Matt couldn't help the intense wave of emotion that spread through him. "Sof was the exact same way… Looks like we're gonna have another Daddy's girl on our hands."

"That sounds perfect." He breathed out, Gabby lifting her head up to smile at him while he continued rubbing his hand along her stomach.

"Yeah, I can feel her every time you talk… This baby is already so in love with you." She continued on, seeing the pure joy filling his features before he leaned forward to give her a heavy, passionate kiss. One she reciprocated just as much until they eventually pulled apart. "And you know, I was thinking… As much as I love calling her baby girl Casey, we might need to start talking about names soon." She spoke between breaths, Matt's grin widening while Gabby leaned her face into his shoulder.

"Yeah, you're probably right about that… We definitely need to figure out a name for our third Daddy's girl." He spoke lightly, Gabby smiling at his words before letting out an amused scoff. "Though I already have some ideas."

"Oh you do, huh?" She questioned back, as he nodded.

"Mhmm, I do. I've been thinking about it a lot." He admitted, causing her smile to widen. "There are a few I love, but we can-"

His words stopped almost abruptly, Gabby's eyebrows knitting together when she saw what she could only describe as a confused, yet excited look beginning to form in his eyes, before his attention moved down towards her stomach.

"...Matt?"

"I felt her." He got out quickly, his face full of wonder as his words caused the grin on her face to widen even more, emotion quickly getting the best of her as she knew this was something her husband had been waiting on. For a very long time, Gabby bringing her hand up to cradle his cheek while he continued staring at her stomach. "I… I can feel her, she's moving around so much."

"She is." Gabby agreed with a watery laugh, Matt shaking his head in near disbelief before moving his gaze back up towards his wife.

There were tears in both their eyes, the moment nothing short of magical as it was like the first time he'd experienced this all over again. It had been an incredible moment when it happened with Sofia, and he felt that same love now for this baby, Matt forcing in a steadying breath while Gabby stroked his skin.

"That's our girl." He got out, the complete and utter amazement in his voice bringing more tears to her eyes before Gabby nodded.

"That's our girl." She repeated happily, just before he brought her in for another deep kiss. One that surely would've knocked her over had she been standing as she could feel just how much love Matt was holding onto in this moment. And it made her feel like the luckiest woman in the world. Not just for herself, but for her husband and him finally getting to feel their child.

"I love you so much." He whispered against her lips, kissing her one last time before he pulled away. "I love you, and this baby. Caity and Sof… I love my family so damn much." He told her, just as he felt the baby move again, Matt releasing a heavy breath before he started to adjust his positioning on the couch, enough to where he could get closer to her stomach as he lifted Gabby's shirt up over her belly.

Before saying a word, he placed light kisses all over her skin while his palm stayed exactly where their baby was, the tenderness of his movements prompting a few tears to finally spill over as Gabby was so beyond grateful to witness this moment between Matt and their unborn child.

"I love you, sweet girl.. More than anything." He murmured against her stomach, Matt and Gabby both feeling their girl move as he spoke. "Yeah, it's me. It's your Daddy, I'm right here… And I always will be." He promised, the sincerity of his voice causing her tears to never end as Gabby lifted her hand up to run through his hair, wanting to be close to her husband while also not wanting to interrupt what was such a beautiful moment that he was having with their daughter.

"No matter what, I'm always gonna be there for you. And so will your Momma, and your sisters… You are already so loved, baby. And I can't wait for you to be here." He said, feeling a distinct movement underneath his palm just as he finished talking, leaving him completely enthralled by their girl as he and Gabby sat out on the couch.

And that was where they stayed for a good while, neither of them in any hurry to move now as Matt continued to enjoy this special, worthwhile moment with their baby.

One that he wished would never end.
