GiaFan15: Henry actually already mentioned their names. And one of his Samurai grandparents is an OC, since I usually do OCxCharacter stories. Though I admit, I had been contemplating OCxLauren, because I like Lauren.

And now on to the story.
It was early in the morning, off the roads leading out of Amber Beach, there was a large clearing deep in the woods. Marc and Henry stood across from each other walked up to the middle of the clearing, trees surrounding them on all sides.
"Now this isn't a competition." Henry said as each did their stretches, "I mean it kind of is, but..."
"But if I win, I get your Energem." Marc told him dead serious, "I prefer to be the Red Ranger, but I take what I can get."
Henry looked shocked for a moment before seeing his friend's mouth corners move up ever so slightly, knowing he was just making a joke.
"But if I win, I get to tell everyone I beat you." Henry said, and the two shook hands sealing the deal.
Marc and Henry morphed into their armored form and Ranger form as they each took their weapons and readied themselves.
"Now, don't go holding back on me." Yellow Ranger said much to his friends surprise, "I have seen how you fought against Sledge using your left hand."
Knight let out a chuckle, "Very observed. It's true, I am not right-handed." he said, shifting his weapon to his left hand, "So I hope your ready for it."
"I've been waiting for this." Yellow Ranger said before the two charged at each other.
Yellow Ranger then attacked using his blaster, shooting bolts that the Knight easily deflected. Once they reach each other, the two blades clashed and Yellow was on a two way set of mind.
For one, he had been looking for a challenge. He finally found someone who could keep up and actually push him. But on the other hand, if he thought Marc was strong with his off-hand, he was even hitting harder and striking faster with his left hand.
Yellow and White blade-locked, the Ranger having do everything he could to not be overpowered as the Knight pressed down.
"Y'know, Marc." Yellow Ranger said, "As a team, we're not half bad."
"Indeed." Knight said with a smile under his helmet, "I hope we meet again, Henry.", he broke the blade lock and with his free hand, he knocked him back.
Yellow Ranger flipped backwards before landing on his feet, "You hope?" he said as the two stood ready to reengage, "Don't forget me!"
The two charged at each other in blurs of white and yellow clashing faster than the eye could see.
It had been a week since Marc and Lily had left and for the Rangers it was back to business as usual. Currently the Rangers minus Chase where sitting in the meeting room as Kendall was working out the work schedule.
"But I'm scheduled to work seven days in a row." Shelby gave her valid complain.
"What?" Henry said, looking up from his phone, his other hand in a bag filled with candy, "But I thought we would go shoe shopping this Saturday."
"We will." Shelby assured him, "I need a break."
"And you will get one." Kendall said, "On day eight."
"But week only have seven days." Koda said confused, "Right?"
"Yes, Koda, there is. Good job." Henry said, taking a piece of candy and flicking it towards Koda, who caught it in his mouth.
"Guys!" Chase yelled from the hall, "Guys!"
Moments later, he comes running in holding up a newspaper, "Look at this!" he said placing it down on the table.
"Odd." Henry said as he leaned forward, "Didn't realize they still print these."
"Yeah." Tyler said, "Who still reads newspapers?"
"Old people, and Kendall." Henry said ignoring the glare she was giving him, "Oldest young person I know."
"Not that. Look at the photo." Chase said, pointing to the picture, "That UFO, looks familiar?"
"That is Sledge's transport thing." Koda said.
"Photo taken by Albert Smith." Riley said as he read the article along with the others.
"Albert gives Big Foot tours!?" Tyler said excited, "So cool."
"We need to check this out right away." Kendall said, being the fastest reader.
"Yes! Albert lives in New Zealand." Chase said as he filled over the newspaper to reveal its from 'The New Zealand Daily', "My home country."
"Change the work schedule, Ms. Morgan." Shelby said with a smile, "We're heading down under."
"Guys, real talk here. I don't think it's smart for all of us to go chasing a rumor on the other side of the globe." Henry said as he sat back in his seat, "Just in case Sledge decided to launch an attack while we are away, I think it's best I stay behind."
"What?" Koda said disappointed, "But trip won't be the same without you."
"I know Koda. But I'll make it up to you..." Henry said suddenly a thought hitting him, "My grandparents own a place up in the mountains. We can go skiing this winter!"
"Yeah!" Koda said with a big smile, "What's skiing?"
"Tell you about it later." Henry said with a pat on his shoulder, "I'll get you guys some tickets. Just take a souvenir back for me."
It was a day later, Kendall was down in the lab working on one of her gadgets when suddenly, Henry appeared behind her, startling her as he yelled, "I'm bored! Entertain me."
"Sorry, Henry." she said not looking away from her work, "Can't right now."
"Yeah, I know you're busy, that makes sense." Henry muttered as he sulked into the room, "I don't have anything else to do, whether you've got stuff to do, that's fine." taking a seat on a rolling chair.
"Okay, there is one thing I want to know." Kendall said, giving him a raised eyebrow, "Shoe shopping with Shelby?"
"What?" he said casually, "I like collecting sneakers."
"Just surprised you would go with Shelby." she said annoyed.
"Hold on." Henry said with a smirk, "Kendall, are you jealous?"
"No." she told him a shade too quickly, "And wipe that smirk off your face before I wipe it off for you!"
"Who's smirking? I'm not smirking." Henry said with a laugh as he threw his hands up, "You know, usually we're confided to our apartments..."
"Because public sex is not one of my kinks." she said.
"I know there are many kinks that disgust me. Luckily yours aren't among them." Henry said as he noticed the annoyed glance from Kendall, "Don't kink shame me!"
"Kink shaming is my kink!" Kendall told him.
A silence followed as Henry stared shocked at the much shorter woman. It took him a moment for he comprehended what just happened.
"Kendall..." he said a smile forming on his face, "Did you just tell a joke!?"
"See? I can be funny." Kendall said with a satisfied smirk, "But you where saying."
"Right. How about we get some lunch?" he said, "We can go to your favorite place to eat."
"You know my favorite restaurant?" she said surprised.
"Yeah, that burger joint close to your apartment." he said with a laugh upon seeing her frown, "Just messing with you."
"For a moment I forgot what sort of dick you are." she said, placing her tools down as she stood up, "My mistake."
"Oh, but Kendall." Henry said with a wink, "You enjoy my dick so very, very much!", as he held out her bag to her.
They where about to depart when the sound of an incoming message came from a nearby console. Kendall held up a finger to give her a minute as she went to check. It was an message from Keeper, it seemed the orange Yoda had gotten himself in some trouble in a neighboring city looking for the Energems.
A few hours later, Henry was leaning against a borrowed black van. A pair of aviators hidding his eyes as he looked up the head office of Grid Battleforce. This non-government organization was created to use Morph-X as an energy source. Although the organization has offices worldwide, its flagship headquarters is based in Coral Harbor.
"You sure Keeper is here?" Henry said through a small device in his ear, a pretzel in one hand.
"Positive. From what I found looking through their data traffic, he's somewhere on the lower floors." Kendall said, "And from what I can tell and looking through the security cams, someone with a key-card with the security clearence we need is going to walk out in five minutes."
"Oh really? Damn..." Henry said disappointed, "I was planning on having a tattoo put on my upper body, that actually an is intricate escape plan and then get myself capture before escaping with Keeper."
"Can you take this seriously!" she scolded him.
"I'm as serious as I've ever been." Henry said as he saw his target comming out of the building, "Alright, show time."
It was young man about Tyler's age, with dark skin, his dark brown hair was nice and fuzy. He was dressed in a red shirt under a dark jacket and blue jeans.
The young man was walking towards his red motorcycle when Henry struck. Using his speed, he used that that time to knock the cycle over before positing himself so he could help the young man out.
"Whoa, careful." Henry said as he caught the red motorcycle, "You alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." he said as the two pulled the cycle right back up, "Thanks man."
"Hey, no problem." Henry said, "Man, this is a nice motorcycle. So be careful with it." before he started to walk away.
"I will." he said, "Thanks a lot."
"No problem." Henry said and once he was out of view, "And thank you, Devon Daniels." as he looked at the stolen key-card.
Having parked the car in the loading bay, and with a quick change of clothing, Henry was now wearing a rather plain dress shirt and blue jeans. His usual hair was now brushed down and his eyes where behind a pair of black framed glasses.
He joined a que through the security gate at the main entrance, he was whishing his lucky stars that security seemed more than a bit lax.
He followed Kendall's instruction and took the elevator down to the server room. Making sure he was alone, he took an laptop from his backpack. Once it was started up, he used a cable to plug into the system, giving Kendall better access to the facility.
"Okay, we got an hour before the laptop burns itself." Kendall said.
"That's like triple the time you usually last." Henry said, hiding the laptop behind one of the servers, before picking up the bag.
"Hello there."
Henry turned around to find a blonde girl, a bit taller than Kendall with fair skin. She was wearing a yellow shirt under a grey hoodie and black pants. But her most dangerous feature, at least in combination with her blonde hair where her green eyes.
"Oh, uh, hello." Henry said, putting on his best nervous act, "Can I help you with something?"
"Yeah, I just wanted to ask who you are." the girl said, "Never seen you around."
"That's quite possible, I'm the new IT guy." Henry said, "Nice to meet you."
"Oh, yeah. I thought I heard something about that." the girl said with a welcoming smile, "Call me Zoey." as she held out her hand.
"Nice to meet you, Ms. Zoey." he said, shaking hands with her as he giver her one of his charming smiles.
"Oh, just call me Zoey." she said with a bit of a blush.
"Hey, I got to go, have to check with the wi-fi reaches certain floors in the building." Henry said, "Nice to meet you Zoey, hope to see you around."
"I should get back to it too." Zoey said as they walked out of the server room, "Welcome to Grid Battleforce."
Excusing himself, Henry went to the restroom. With a quickly checking if nobody was in there with him, he went to the last stall in the row. Putting the bag on the closed toilet seat, he swapped out of his IT outfit and into a Grid Battleforce guard uniform stolen from the washing room.
With a cap with the letters GB on the front, he walked out with his backpack hanging form his shoulder.
Keeping to himself as he let Kendall guide him through the building and to the elevator leading to the holding cells. He took the elevator down but unfortunately he found a guard waiting behind a desk.
"Hey, who are you..." the man said but Henry grabbed him by the back of the head and slamming his head against the desk, knocking him out.
Just to be sure, he took his key-card as well before walking to the door leiding to Keeper's cell. And looking through the window, he saw the orange alien sitting on a bench.
Swipping the key-card, the door slid open making the alien look up.
"I always knew it would end up like this. Us two in a cell." Henry said, "Though I had always assumed it would be me in the cell and you having to break me out."
"Henry." Keeper said as he stood up, "What are you doing here?"
"I went for a stroll and I came to say hi." he said dryly, "Came to rescue you. Now let's get moving, gramps."
"I can't." Keeper said, "They still have my staff."
"Of course things can never be easy." Henry said with a sigh, "Kendall? Got a location?"
"Yes, it's in a vault on the eleventh floor." Kendall said, "If everything goes well you should have ten minutes to drive you and Keeper to safety before I lose my connection to Grid Battleforce network."
"Alright, here's the plan." Henry said, taking out a pair of fake handcuffs, "I'll get you to the escape vehicle, then I go back to get your staff. We'll put these on so it looks like I'm escorting you somewhere."
"Good idea." Keeper said as Henry put them around his wrists.
"Let's go, alien scum." Henry said, taking a hold of Keeper's upper arm, "Sorry, always wanted to say that."
"What happened to the guard?" Keeper said as they past the guard desk.
"He was already like that when I came here." Henry lied.
It was surprisingly easy to break Keeper out of jail and out of the building and before they knew it he was sitting in the back of the van.
"Hey, Keeper." Henry said, "Do you know how to drive a car?"
"Never done so before." Keeper said, "It should not be as difficult as flying a spaceship."
"Right. Catch." Henry said as he threw him the car keys, "There is a parking lot few blocks from here next to Riptide Gym. I will meet you there."
"Good idea, Henry." Keeper said, "But be careful."
"No worries. I'm always careful." Henry said with a wink, "If I'm not at the parking lot in five minutes... Wait longer."
Going back into the building through the loading bay area with a bit of a hurry to his steps, Henry took the elevator up to the floor where the vault would be.
Peeking into the lab, he saw a single scientist. He looked rather young with neat brown hair and a pair of thick glasses on his face.
"Okay, I'm strapped for time." Henry muttered before putting his plan into action.
Making the door open, the young scientist turned around only to find nobody there.
"Zoey? Ravi? Steel?... That's odd." he said before he was grabbed from behind and put in a chokehold.
Henry hushed him, "Go to sleep, nerd." he whispered in the scientist ear.
Dropping him to the floor once he had passed out, Henry took the scientist key-card which showed his name was 'Nate Silva'.
Walking to the back of the lab where a big vault door was located. Swiping the card, granting Henry access to it.
To his surprise, the vault was filled with equipment, weapons and even Morphers from previous Ranger teams.
"So cool..." Henry said as he looked around the cool stuff for what he was actually looking for.
In the back, he found the staff alongside a Spin Sword. "Wonder which Samurai Ranger you belonged to." Henry mused to himself before he picked up the staff.
He walked out of the vault and to his surprise he saw that Zoey was kneeling next to Nate. He came to a stop, muttering a curse under his breath and quickly threw the staff through the open door and into the hallway.
This resulted in Zoey picking up his presence, "Hey you!" she said, more concerned with the scientist wellbeing that his sudden appearance, "I need some help over here."
"Yeah, sure." Henry said, quickly rushing over, "What do you need?"
"I need you to get... Wait. Haven't I seen you before?" Zoey said as she stood up, "Aren't you the new IT guy?"
"An understandable mistake." Henry said as he stood up as well, "I have an common face."
"Yes, those chiseled cheekbones are very common. And most people aren't that tall with that same fit build." Zoey pointed out, "Show me your security card."
"Right here, you go." Henry said, taking one of several he had stolen today, "Here you go."
"Devon Daniels..." Zoey said with a frown as she looked at the key-card, "This is you?", pointing at the photo on the security card which of course, Henry looked nothing like Devon.
"...It's an old photo." Henry said completely sure of himself but Zoey took a fighting stance.
He evaded a strike, before blocking the second one by throwing her off balance. He attempted for a leg swipe but she leaped over him. As she came down, she planted two feet in her back sending Henry sliding over the floor. Landing next to the door, the alarm suddenly went off as the building was going on lock down.
"Oh shit." Henry said, picking himself up as he rushed out the door, picking up the staff as he broke down in a sprint.
"I'm chasing the intruder on the eleventh floor, lab area!" Zoey said into her communicator as she came chasing after him, "Human, tall, dark haired, handsome!"
"I'll take that compliment!" Henry shouted over his shoulder as he neared the elevators.
His green eyes widen when the elevator came to their floor and armed Battlegrid Security forces came pouring out.
Taking a sharp left, he kicked open a security door, leading to the stairway. The cute blonde was close behind now backed up with security.
"Gentlemen, Zoey." Henry said with a salute, "You will always remember this as the day that you almost caught Henry Morgenstern."
Taking a deep breath as time slowed down around him, from the outside it looked like Henry disappeared from the eleventh floor and appeared on the ground floor.
With the chaos caused in Grid HQ, along with a fire in the server room, Henry didn't had much trouble sneaking out of the building. Sneaking into a alleyway where he had prepared a backpack with another change of clothing, Henry was walking down the street with a whistle and Keeper's staff under his arms.
Undisturbed he made his way down the street and soon enough the Riptide Gym came into view. He was about to cross the street when something heavy rammed into him.
He had a few second to register that it had been a Battlegrid Van ramming into him as he was send flying through the air, the staff lost out of his grip. He landed roughly on the ground and rolled over the ground before coming to a stop. He let out a high pitched pained moan.
Out of the van came Devon, Zoey, Nate the scientist, a dark skinned young man in blue Henry didn't recognize and a humanoid robot.
"Who taught you how to drive!?" Henry shouted with an annoyed groan as he felt his body starting to heal.
"Enough from you. We're taking you in." Devon told him, "Come quietly or we will use force."
"I'm never going to come quietly. How long do you think someone like me can survive prison?" Henry said, "Pretty long actually."
"It's Morphing time." the five said, "Activate Beast Power."
Swirls of energy came over them as they transformed into the Grid Battleforce Rangers, consisting of a team of Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold and Silver Rangers.
"Oh... That explains the clothing." Henry said before he got a grin, "You showed me your, so I'll show you mine." as he took out his Dino Morpher.
Yellow energy surrounds Henry before he morphs into the Yellow Dino Charge Ranger.
Aiming his gun, he fires two jets of energy from it at the GB Rangers, who where apart as an explosion erupted behind them once the energy impacted on the ground. GB Yellow jumps higher than the rest, aiming her blast and takes a shot at Yellow Ranger, but he moved just enough to evade them. Yellow Ranger took aim as she could not dodge while in mid-air.
But he was forced to turn around and block the incoming sword strikes from GB Gold and Silver. With some quick footwork along with his fast parries, he managed to hit GB Silver in the chest before backflipping out of GB Gold's reach.
GB Red charged towards them Yellow Ranger, slashing at him with his blade but he blocks with his gun.
"You know what they say." GB Red said, "Never bring a gun to a sword fight!"
"That's not how the saying goes." Yellow Ranger said.
The blade clashed against the gun, the impact throwing the Yellow Ranger's arm up, leaving his side unprotected.
Utilizing the opening GB Red created in his defenses, GB Blue used his gorilla strength to strike right in the Yellow Ranger's stomach. As the Yellow Ranger is send flying back, GB Blue activates Beast-X Mode to increase his strength and speed to strike him multiple times as he tumbles through the air.
GB Blue grabs him by the legs before smashing him into the ground before throwing him into a nearby wall.
"Now that's what I call... Gorilla warfare!" Yellow Ranger said as he sat up on his knees.
"Let's finish this guy." GB Red said as they prepared their to preform their final strike.
The Grid Battleforce Rangers joined up as they started to blast Yellow Ranger, covering him in a fiery explosion as the following thick smoke covered the area.
The GB Rangers stood down as this was the point Ranger's usually won, "Virus Eliminated." GB Red said.
But from the smoke, the Yellow Dino Charge Ranger comes striding out, the glass on his visor cracked and chipped off enough to show his green eye as yellow arcs of electricity began to surround him.
"He survived, but how?" GB Yellow said shocked, "That's... Impossible!"
"Now you're catching on..." Yellow Ranger said before he went on the offensive, "I AM the impossible!"
He forced them to apart, hitting a enhanced punch to the stomach of GB Blue, lifting him off the ground. Grabbing him by the ankle, Yellow Ranger pulled him back and smacked him into the pavement before he spun around to knock him into a car, demorphing him back to his civilian form.
Yellow Ranger blitz towards GB Gold, he kneed Gold in the stomach. GB Gold hunched over, trying to catch his breath, only to have his face meet Yellow Ranger's gun and receiving a helmet full of energy, sending him flying as well as he was demorphed.
GB Silver and Yellow Ranger engaged each other in a flurry of sword and gunplay, but the Yellow Ranger had reach and speed on his side.
With a powerful blast, GB Silver was disarmed before he was gripped by the helmet and smashed into the ground, lifting him up before unleashing a barrage of punches before with a heavy uppercut sending him flying through a nearby building.
To his surprise, GB Red had activated his Beast-X mode, boosting his speed enough to the point he could keep up with Yellow Ranger.
"Now this is fun!" Yellow Ranger said, "A speed battle."
Activating rapid fire mode, Yellow Ranger launched a barrage of yellow blast from his gun, but GB Red dodges them all and managed to hit him with his claws before hitting him with a kick against the head. Rising back to his feet once more, firing another fire blast at a charging GB Red, who evaded and retaliates with a swift flurry of strikes, all of which in turn where evaded by Yellow Ranger.
Evading another strike from GB Red, the arcs around Yellow Ranger intensified as he blitz forward in a swirl of that same energy. Hitting GB Red in full force, sending him flying back and causing him to demorph.
GB Yellow launches herself into the air and shoots an blast from her gun at Yellow Ranger, which he dodges. Upon landing, the two Yellow Rangers clash with each other. Attacking with another fiery strike, Yellow Ranger evades under it and sends GB Yellow down with a kick to the chest.
"You know it's been a bash." Yellow Ranger said, tapping the side of his helmet with his gun, "But it's getting late. I'm supposed to be back home by dinnertime. See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya.", as he turned to walk away.
"Wait!" GB Yellow said, making him stop, "Why did you steal the alien?"
"I wasn't stealing him. I was freeing him." Yellow Ranger said, "And no, taking his staff form your vault doesn't count as stealing."
"Hold on..." GB Yellow said as she stood up, "He's your friend?"
"Wouldn't call him my friend. Not after that one time he appeared when we faced Sledge, spoke a few words, then left us to fight Sledge and his army." Yellow Ranger said as he crossed his arms, "I know it happened months ago, but I'm still holding a grudge over it... But yeah, he is part of my team."
"I think this has been a big misunderstanding." GB Yellow said, "We thought he had been working for Evox or was an invading alien, like how Amber Beach has been getting attacked. We heard his story and contacted Hexagon to verify."
"Hexagon? As in the Hexagon Ranger's!?" Yellow Ranger said, "That's a bit overkill."
"What? They are an elite team of veteran Rangers with the most experience." GB Yellow said, "They have helped us with most of the Ranger tech we have in the vault."
"They would be a great source for that." Yellow Ranger said with a nod, "...So you guys weren't going to operate on Keeper? Or try to take the Energems?"
"Of course not." GB Yellow said, "And can I assume your not after Morph-X?"
"Is that some new kind of drug?" Yellow Ranger said, "I have done a lot of those during my collage years, and I have never heard about Morph-X."
"No, it's not... Though I can understand why you would think... Never mind." GB Yellow said as she demorphed, "It seems we had a misunderstanding, so let's start over. Zoey Reeves, Grid Battleforce Yellow Ranger."
"Nice to meet you, Zoey." Yellow Ranger said as he demorphed, "Henry Morgenstern, Dino Charge Yellow Ranger."
"Morgenstern? As in Sky Morgenstern?" Zoey said surprised, "I learned about him in Ranger History Class, the guys a legend."
"...I know a Sky Morgenstern." Henry admitted, not wanting to go into his family history, "Should we help your team? I went pretty hard on them."
"Yeah, we should." Zoey said concerned, "Where's Keeper?"
"Oh, somewhere over there." Henry said casually as he gestured to the parking lot, "He can wait in there... but he better not eat any of my snacks."
Changed the name of the chapter, thought this one was funnier.

I was originally going to do a crossover with Beast Morphers where the split between season 1 and 2 of Dino Charge would be, but I thought it would be fun having Henry do a solo mission.
I was also going to have an fight against Blaze and Roxy, with Henry obviously heavy flirting with Roxy, but I thought the chapter was already long enough.
The reason I did this crossover so early was because yes, I'm going to cover the episodes where the Dino Charge Rangers team up with Mighty Morphing and Dino Thunder.
Anyways, I'm rambling again.
