Notes: So as far as what I know, haku is older than Naruto by 2-3 years however this is a fanfic so I'm going to make sure haku is only 2 years older than him as Naruto is a year older too. So by the time Naruto comes back from his trip, he will be 17 turning 18 and haku will be 19 after Naruto comes back from training. Now if you have a problem with lemons I will add warnings when they start and end. There will be lemons after Naruto comes back from his training trip just to give a heads up. Haku is an older girl who will probably want to try out couple stuff with Naruto so just letting you all know now. After this chapter is when shippuden starts. I will add changes here and there but stay close to the story with different ways. This is a fanfiction so deal with it if y'all don't like it. I also been now seeing your reviews and I'd like to say thank you for those who have been reading my fic as it is my first time writing. Those who have problems just know that this is my fanfiction so if you don't like you can leave.

Anyways back to the story.

As the morning sun gently filtered through the window, casting soft golden rays across the room, Haku stirred first. Her eyes fluttered open, and a warm smile crept onto her face as she realized Naruto was lying beside her. The peaceful rise and fall of his chest, his face so relaxed and calm, made her feel at ease. It had been so long since they had been this close, and the sense of comfort overwhelmed her.

Haku carefully brushed a few strands of his messy hair away from his face, her fingers tracing his whisker marks gently. She couldn't resist a soft giggle as she played with his hair, lightly smoothing it out as she admired the features she had missed so much.

Naruto stirred, blinking his eyes open. When he saw Haku playing with his hair and whisker marks, his face immediately turned a light shade of pink. "H-Haku… you're awake?" he stammered, his voice still groggy from sleep.

Haku's smile widened, her eyes twinkling with affection. "Good morning, sleepyhead," she teased softly, her fingers still gently brushing against his face. "You looked so peaceful. I couldn't help it."

Naruto blushed more deeply but smiled warmly in return. "Good morning," he said, his voice more awake now, feeling an overwhelming sense of happiness to be with her like this. He reached up to hold her hand, their fingers intertwining naturally.

"I missed this," Haku said softly, her eyes not leaving his. "Just being with you, like this."

Naruto nodded, his heart swelling. "Me too, Haku. I'm glad I could be here today… for your birthday." He squeezed her hand, and they both shared a quiet moment, savoring the closeness, the simple comfort of being together again.

"Thank you for staying," Haku whispered, her cheeks flushed with warmth. "It's the best gift I could've asked for."

Naruto smiled sheepishly. "I couldn't miss your birthday. Plus, spending time with you is a gift for me too."

As Haku leaned in to kiss Naruto again, their closeness grew, their arms wrapped around each other in a warm embrace. Just as their lips touched, they were interrupted by a knock on the door. They quickly pulled back, blushing, as the door creaked open.

Tsunade stepped in, her eyes widening with surprise when she saw Naruto sitting beside Haku. "Naruto?" she asked, sounding both curious and suspicious. "What are you doing here? And… you're not doing what I think you're doing, are you?"

Naruto and Haku's faces turned bright red. Naruto quickly shook his head, raising his hands in defense. "N-No, no! It's not like that, Tsunade-sama!" He stumbled over his words, glancing nervously at Haku, who was also blushing furiously.

"I mean…" Naruto rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "I managed to learn the Flying Raijin technique. I… uh, I teleported here using a mark on Haku's bracelet," he explained, pointing to the bracelet on her wrist. "I'm still working on it, but I can only use it a few times before I run out of chakra. I just wanted to be here for Haku's birthday."

Tsunade raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms as she looked between the two of them. She wasn't entirely convinced, but after a moment, she sighed and gave a small smile. "You used the Flying Raijin just to see Haku on her birthday? You've certainly grown up, Naruto."

Naruto nodded, a little sheepishly. "Yeah, I didn't want to miss it. I'm not as good at the jutsu as my dad, but I thought it would be useful… and important for moments like this."

Tsunade shook her head with a smile. "Well, you're full of surprises."

She gave them both a knowing look. "And I expect you two to behave, understood?"

Both Naruto and Haku nodded quickly, still a bit embarrassed. "Yes, Tsunade-sama," they said in unison.

With that, Tsunade turned to leave, but before she exited, she glanced over her shoulder with a smirk. "And Naruto, if you keep this up, I'm sure Haku will expect you to show up for every birthday from now on."

Naruto laughed nervously, scratching the back of his head. "I'll try my best!"

Once Tsunade left, Naruto and Haku exchanged a look, both of them still a little flustered but happy to have the moment to themselves again.

Naruto and Haku stepped out into the bright sunlight, their hands intertwined. Haku wore a green kimono, reminiscent of Tsunade's, but in a deeper, darker shade, paired with a pink shirt and black shorts. Her long hair framed her face perfectly, and Naruto couldn't help but admire how beautiful she looked. "You look really beautiful, Haku," he said with a warm smile, his voice filled with genuine admiration.

Haku smiled back at him, her cheeks flushing slightly. "Thank you, Naruto," she replied softly, her eyes gleaming with affection. She glanced at his outfit and noticed that he was wearing the black kimono with an orange stripe she had bought him a few years ago, paired with a simple white shirt and his signature orange pants. She found it endearing how he always managed to stay true to his style, no matter what. "You still look great in that kimono," Haku remarked, her tone playful yet sincere.

Naruto chuckled. "It's one of my favorites. You have good taste."

As they walked through the Hidden Leaf Village, Naruto couldn't help but feel a little out of place. It had been so long since he'd spent any real time here, and things had changed. However, with Haku by his side, that feeling of unease quickly faded. He glanced at her and saw her smiling up at him, her hand still holding his. That simple gesture reassured him, grounding him in the moment.

"I'm really happy to be with you, Naruto," Haku said, her voice soft but filled with emotion. She squeezed his hand gently, giving him a smile that warmed his heart.

Naruto smiled back, his thumb brushing against her hand. "Me too, Haku. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now."

Naruto and Haku made their way to Haku's favorite little restaurant in the village, a cozy spot tucked away from the busier streets. The smell of freshly made food filled the air as they entered, and Haku led them to a table near the window. They both settled in, and Haku ordered her usual breakfast—a simple dish of rice, miso soup, grilled fish, and a few side dishes. Naruto, feeling adventurous, decided to order the same.

As they waited for their food, Naruto glanced over at Haku. "So, how's training been going for you?" he asked, genuinely curious. He knew how dedicated she was, and he wanted to hear how she'd been progressing since they'd been apart.

Haku smiled softly. "It's been manageable. Training with Lady Tsunade is intense, but I'm learning a lot. Medical ninjutsu is no joke," she said with a light chuckle. "Ino and Sakura have been great to train with too. We've been pushing each other to get better every day."

Naruto nodded, impressed. "I bet Tsunade's a tough teacher. I mean, she's super strong. It must be cool learning from her."

Haku smiled at his enthusiasm. "She's tough, but she's also very supportive. I'm really grateful for the opportunity. What about you? How's your training going with Jiraiya and the toads?"

Naruto scratched the back of his head with a small grin. "It's been crazy. Jiraiya-sensei's always pushing me to my limits, but I feel like I'm getting stronger. I've been working on my dad's Flying Raijin technique. I can pull it off, but it takes a lot out of me, and I still need to work on controlling it better."

Haku listened intently, her eyes full of admiration. "That's incredible, Naruto. You're really mastering something as complex as the Flying Raijin. I can't imagine how hard that must be."

Their food arrived, and they both started eating. Naruto took a bite of the grilled fish and nodded approvingly. "This is really good. You've got great taste in food too, Haku."

She smiled at him between bites. "I'm glad you like it."

After a few moments of peaceful eating, Haku looked up and asked, "Are you feeling okay with everything, though? I know training can be hard, but are you doing okay overall?"

Naruto paused for a moment, thinking about her question. "It's been tough, but I think I'm doing alright. Training with Jiraiya has helped me focus, and Mount Myoboku is a great place to clear my mind. Sometimes, I still think about… everything, you know? My past, my parents, and everything I've learned recently. But having people like you, Jiraiya, and even the toads supporting me, it makes it easier to handle."

Haku reached across the table and gently placed her hand over his. "I'm glad to hear that, Naruto. You don't have to carry everything alone. You have people who care about you, and I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

Naruto smiled warmly, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. "Thanks, Haku. That really means a lot to me."

Naruto and Haku shared their dessert, sitting comfortably together. Haku's choice of jello with fruit seemed light and refreshing, and Naruto, having taken a few bites of it, agreed that it was a good pick. They sat close, talking and enjoying each other's company.

Between bites, Naruto glanced at Haku curiously. "So, have you had any word from Zabuza lately? I know you've been here for a while now, and I was wondering how he's been handling things."

Haku smiled softly. "Zabuza-sensei came to visit me once a while back. He's always so focused on his missions, but he made the time to check in on me. He doesn't show it much, but I know he cares. I'm grateful that even with everything he's dealing with, he took the time to visit."

Naruto nodded, understanding. He had met Zabuza long ago, and although their encounter was intense, he respected the bond Haku shared with him. "I'm glad he's still looking out for you."

Haku then mentioned something else that caught Naruto's attention. "Actually, Mei, the Mizukage, has been asking about you too. She's curious about your progress, especially with all the training you've been doing. Tsunade-sama told me that Mei sends her letters regularly, and in them, she often asks about how you're doing."

Naruto blinked in surprise. "Mei? I'm surprised she asks about me still."

Haku chuckled at his surprise. "Yes, she seems to be keeping an eye on you. Tsunade-sama mentioned that sometimes she asks Jiraiya-sensei about your training progress as well. Mei's always been interested in how you're developing as a shinobi, especially with your connection to the Mist."

Naruto thought about that for a moment, feeling a mix of surprise and pride. "Wow, I didn't know she was that curious about me. I guess it makes sense, though, with everything that's happened."

Haku nodded. "You've left quite an impression, Naruto. Mei respects strength, and I think she sees great potential in you, especially considering your lineage and everything you've been through."

Naruto scratched his head, a little embarrassed. "I never really thought about it that way, but it's kind of cool to know that she's been keeping tabs on me. I just hope I'm living up to her expectations."

"You are," Haku said confidently, placing her hand on his. "You've come so far, and I'm sure Mei, Tsunade-sama, and everyone else see that too."

Naruto smiled at her words, feeling reassured. "Thanks, Haku. I'm really glad you're here with me."

As Naruto and Haku finished their meal and walked out of the diner, Naruto casually took Haku's hand, causing her to blush lightly. She glanced at him with a shy smile, feeling warmth from the simple but affectionate gesture. The village was lively as they strolled through, enjoying the moment together.

As they walked, they suddenly heard a familiar voice call out, "Well, well, look who we have here!" It was Anko, emerging from a nearby dango shop, her expression one of complete surprise. Her jaw dropped slightly when she saw Naruto with Haku, holding hands.

"Whisker boy!" she teased with a grin, walking up to them. "What's this? You've grown taller and stronger since I last saw you—definitely turning into quite the man."

Naruto, slightly embarrassed but smiling, scratched the back of his head. "Hey, Anko! Yeah, I've been training a lot with Jiraiya-sensei. I'm here for Haku's birthday."

Anko glanced between the two of them and smirked mischievously. "Haku's birthday, huh? How cute. You two look good together." She winked at Haku, who blushed even more at the comment.

Naruto chuckled nervously, squeezing Haku's hand a little tighter. "Yeah, I wanted to be here for her, just like she was there for my birthday."

Anko sighed dramatically, leaning against the doorframe of the dango shop. "Ugh, why can't I find a guy who'd do something like that for me? You know, thoughtful, sweet, maybe even a bit dangerous. Seriously, where are all the good men?"

Naruto and Haku exchanged a brief, amused glance. Haku, feeling more at ease around Anko, smiled and said, "I'm sure there's someone out there for you, Anko-san."

Anko waved her hand dismissively but grinned. "Eh, maybe. But anyway, good for you, whisker boy. Keep treating her right." She gave Naruto a playful punch on the shoulder before glancing back at Haku. "Happy birthday, by the way! And enjoy your day with this one. He's a keeper."

Haku smiled, appreciating the words. "Thank you, Anko-san."

With another mischievous wink, Anko left them to continue her day, munching on her dango as she walked away.

Haku eagerly dragged Naruto into the shop, her eyes already scanning the shelves filled with various accessories. "Come on, Naruto," she said with a smile, "I want you to pick out a hair tie for me. I want something you'll like seeing me wear."

Naruto, slightly overwhelmed but determined to choose something that would make Haku happy, followed her through the shop as she pointed out different options. There were so many—different colors, designs, and patterns. Haku's enthusiasm was contagious, and Naruto felt a warmth in his chest just watching her.

Haku paused by a display, picking up a few options. "What about these?" she asked, holding up a couple of hair ties—one was a soft lavender, the other a deep forest green. Naruto considered them but wanted something that suited her even better.

Then his eyes caught a pink hair tie with subtle orange spots scattered across it. It reminded him of her gentle nature mixed with a bit of fire, just like their bond. He reached out and picked it up. "What about this one?" he asked, showing it to her.

Haku's face lit up as she took it from his hand, inspecting it closely. "It's perfect," she said softly, her smile growing wider. "I love it."

Naruto smiled back, feeling proud of his choice. "I thought the colors would suit you. It's like a little bit of both of us—pink like you and the orange for me."

Haku's heart melted at his words. She reached up and tied her hair back with the new accessory, turning slightly to show Naruto. "How does it look?"

Naruto's eyes softened as he gazed at her. "Beautiful," he said earnestly. "It really suits you."

Haku blushed at the compliment, stepping closer to Naruto and squeezing his hand. "Thank you, Naruto. It's perfect because you picked it."

Naruto and Haku walked out of the shop, with Naruto paying for the hair tie. Haku held his hand tightly, smiling warmly as she looked up at him. "I want to take you to your favorite spot," she said, her voice filled with excitement. Naruto tilted his head in curiosity but nodded as they headed toward the Hokage monuments.

As they arrived at the top, the village sprawled out below them, and the cool breeze swept through the air. Naruto stood silently for a moment, taking in the view. "I used to come here all the time," he said, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. "It was my favorite spot when I didn't really have anyone. I'd just sit here, looking over the village, dreaming of being Hokage one day."

Haku admired the view beside him, leaning slightly into his side. "It's a beautiful place," she said softly. "I can see why you liked it so much."

Naruto glanced at her, a small smile forming on his face. "But now it feels different," he admitted. "It's not just my spot anymore. I guess… I've found better things."

Haku chuckled, leaning in closer to him. "Like what?"

Naruto wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her in gently. "Like you," he whispered, his voice warm with sincerity.

They both laughed softly together, the moment filled with warmth and affection. Haku turned to Naruto, her eyes glowing with affection. "Naruto…" she whispered before closing the gap between them. She pressed her lips to his, and Naruto kissed her back, both of them losing themselves in the peacefulness of the moment. The kiss was soft and tender, filled with unspoken emotions that had grown between them over time.

When they finally pulled back, Haku rested her head on his shoulder, feeling completely content. "I'm happy I get to share this with you," she murmured, her eyes closing as she savored the warmth of his embrace.

Naruto nodded, looking out at the village with a newfound sense of peace. "Me too, Haku. I'm glad you're here with me."

As they sat together, Haku hesitated for a moment before speaking, her voice soft but serious. "Naruto, there's something I've been meaning to tell you," she began, her gaze shifting from the village to Naruto's face. "When I came to the Leaf to train under Lady Tsunade, it wasn't just for my own training. Mei had sent me here for another reason."

Naruto looked at her, curiosity piqued. "What do you mean?" he asked.

Haku took a deep breath, her expression more serious now. "A year ago, Mei noticed something strange happening in the Mist. Leaf ANBU were spotted off the coast, throwing bombs into the ocean. It caused a lot of concern, so Mei decided to investigate."

Naruto's brow furrowed in confusion. "Why would the Leaf be doing that in the Mist's territory?"

"That's exactly what we wanted to know," Haku said. "Mei sent a few of us, including myself, to the Leaf under the guise of training and diplomatic talks. We had to figure out what was going on, and… we found out something surprising."

Naruto leaned in, his focus entirely on Haku now. "What did you find?"

Haku paused, as if gathering her thoughts, before continuing. "It turns out that Tsunade had been manipulated by Danzo," she revealed, watching Naruto's eyes widen in shock. "Danzo was using some sort of jutsu or influence to control her actions, and he was behind the ANBU's movements. Mei confronted Tsunade privately about it, and Tsunade—after shaking off Danzo's control—was furious."

Naruto's fists clenched at the mention of Danzo. "Danzo again…" he muttered, anger rising within him. "That guy just doesn't know when to stop. Manipulating Granny Tsunade like that…"

Haku nodded. "It was a dangerous situation, but once Tsunade realized what had happened, she took immediate action. She apologized to Mei and promised to investigate further. She had to keep it quiet though, to avoid causing political tensions between the Mist and the Leaf."

Naruto looked out over the village, his mind racing. "So that's why you were here with Tsunade. It wasn't just for training… it was to keep an eye on things."

"Yes," Haku confirmed. "But after things were cleared up, I asked Tsunade to train me for real. I'm still working with her, but I thought you should know what was going on behind the scenes."

Naruto let out a long breath, processing everything. "I can't believe Danzo would go that far. But… I'm not surprised either," he said, shaking his head. "He's always been trying to control everything from the shadows."

Haku reached for his hand, squeezing it gently. "I know it's a lot to take in, but Mei and Tsunade have been keeping things stable. You don't have to worry about it right now."

Naruto nodded, calming himself. "Thanks for telling me, Haku. I'm glad Tsunade's okay, and that things didn't get worse between the villages."

Haku smiled softly. "I just wanted you to know the truth. Mei and Tsunade are working together to keep things from escalating."

Naruto listened intently as Haku recounted the events surrounding Danzo's downfall. His expression was a mix of shock and relief, though he remained calm as he heard how things had unfolded.

"What happened to Danzo after all that?" Naruto asked, his curiosity growing. He had always seen Danzo as a looming threat to the peace in the village, and hearing that things had escalated this far surprised him.

Haku took a deep breath before answering. "After Tsunade was freed from his control, Mei and Ao decided to confront Danzo directly. Tsunade joined them, and together they engaged him in a long and difficult battle. Danzo had prepared himself well, using all sorts of forbidden jutsu and tricks. It wasn't easy… but in the end, they managed to kill him."

Naruto's eyes widened. "They actually killed him?" he asked, the weight of her words sinking in.

Haku nodded. "Yes. Tsunade knew that leaving him alive would only bring more danger to the village and the alliance between the Mist and Leaf. After the battle, Tsunade sent her ANBU to retrieve Danzo's body, and they buried him somewhere secure, away from prying eyes. They wanted to make sure no one would try to use his body or his techniques again."

Naruto let out a deep breath, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. "I'm glad that's over. Danzo caused so much trouble"

Haku placed a hand on Naruto's arm, her expression soft. "It wasn't an easy decision for them, but it was necessary. I was there when it happened, but Tsunade made sure I stayed out of the direct fight. She told me she wanted me to stay safe, and honestly, I thought about you the entire time. If things got too dangerous, I was ready to run and find you."

Naruto smiled gently, pulling her into a warm embrace. "I'm glad you're safe, Haku. That must've been intense. I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you."

Haku smiled against his chest, feeling comforted by his presence. "I knew you were training hard, and I just had to believe everything would turn out okay. And it did. Now, things have been peaceful, and Mei has focused on keeping the Mist strong, while Tsunade works on keeping the village in order without Danzo's interference."

Naruto looked down at Haku, his resolve strengthening. "I'm glad things didn't get worse, and that Tsunade and Mei were able to take Danzo down. I guess the world's a little bit safer now, thanks to them."

Haku nodded in agreement. "It is. And you're part of that peace too, Naruto. You're getting stronger, and I know you'll keep fighting for that peace."

Naruto and Haku got up as they headed down to the busy streets in the village as they walked hand in hand down the bustling streets of the Hidden Leaf, enjoying the warm afternoon together. Haku's eyes sparkled as she spotted a small photo booth tucked away in a corner of a plaza. She turned to Naruto with a bright smile, an idea forming in her mind.

"Naruto, I want us to get a picture together," she said excitedly. "Something to remember today by."

Naruto blinked, slightly taken aback but quickly nodding. "A picture? Yeah, sure! That sounds nice."

Haku pulled him toward the photo booth, and Naruto chuckled as they stepped inside. He paid for the session, feeling a little nervous but excited at the same time. Haku playfully suggested they try out some couple poses, which immediately made Naruto blush.

"Couple poses?" Naruto repeated, scratching the back of his head sheepishly.

Haku giggled, enjoying his flustered reaction. "Yes, come on! It'll be fun!"

The first picture was simple—just the two of them standing close, smiling. But as they continued, Haku got more creative, suggesting Naruto put his arm around her, and in one shot, she kissed him on the cheek, causing his face to turn bright red. In another pose, they faced each other, hands entwined, with Naruto grinning awkwardly while Haku gazed at him fondly.

After the session, they both sat down to review the photos. Haku looked over each one with a pleased expression, her heart feeling warm as she saw the memories they'd captured.

"I love all of them," Haku said, holding the sheet of printed pictures. She carefully folded them and placed them in her bag, planning to frame one later. "These will always remind me of today."

Naruto smiled, still feeling a little embarrassed from the couple poses but happy to have made Haku so joyful. "I'm glad you liked them. They turned out pretty cool. It's nice to have something like this."

Haku nodded, hugging him. "Thank you for doing this with me, Naruto. I'll treasure these moments forever."

Naruto hugged her back, his heart full of affection for her. "I will too, Haku."

Naruto and Haku strolled through the nearby park, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. They found a bench under the shade of a large tree, where Naruto handed Haku a small cup of ice cream. She smiled at him warmly as they sat down, eating happily together. Haku rested her head on Naruto's shoulder, feeling content in the moment.

Naruto, feeling the same sense of peace, smiled as he gazed at the trees swaying gently in the breeze. "This is nice," he said softly, enjoying the quiet time with Haku.

Haku nodded, her eyes half-closed as she savored her ice cream. "It really is," she agreed, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm so glad we got to spend today together."

As they sat there, lost in the serenity of the moment, Naruto noticed movement in the distance. Walking toward them were Asuma and Kurenai, accompanied by their students—Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji—all looking slightly tired but relaxed, as if they had just returned from a long mission.

Asuma spotted Naruto and Haku first, raising an eyebrow at the sight of them together. Kurenai smiled gently when she saw them, and the students followed their gaze.

"Hey, Naruto!" Asuma called out as they approached.

Naruto turned, a bit surprised to see them. He waved with a grin. "Oh, hey, Asuma, Kurenai!"

Shikamaru, hands in his pockets as usual, gave a small nod in greeting. "Troublesome… You're still here in the village?"

Ino, on the other hand, couldn't help but tease. "Naruto! Are you and Haku on a date or something? You two look cozy!"

Naruto's face flushed slightly at Ino's teasing comment, but before he could answer, Haku sat up straight and smiled at Ino, unbothered. "You could say that," Haku said softly, causing Naruto to blush even more.

Choji, munching on a bag of chips, gave them a thumbs-up. "Nice! Spending time like that after training is important too."

Asuma chuckled, his gaze shifting between Naruto and Haku. "Good to see your in the village visiting us. Taking some time to relax. It's important to balance training and life."

Kurenai smiled warmly at Haku, appreciating the connection between the two. "Enjoy your time, you two. It's nice seeing you both so happy."

Naruto scratched the back of his head, still a little embarrassed, but he grinned. "Yeah, thanks, everyone. We're just taking it easy today."

Naruto and Haku continued their walk around the park, hand in hand, the peaceful environment surrounding them. As they strolled along the path, Haku looked up at Naruto with a thoughtful expression.

"Will you be coming to visit me again soon?" she asked softly, her voice tinged with a hint of hope. "I don't want you to leave later. I really miss you when you're not around."

Naruto gave her a small, understanding smile. "I know, Haku, but the Flying Raijin takes a lot out of me. I've only got a limited number of times I can use it before it drains my chakra," he explained, his voice gentle but reassuring. "But I'll try to surprise you every now and then, I promise."

Haku's face lit up at his words, a warm smile spreading across her lips. "I would love that. Even if it's just for a short time, I hope you'll drop by more often," she said, squeezing his hand lightly.

Naruto nodded. "I'll make it work somehow. We've both got our own training to focus on, but that doesn't mean we can't see each other, right?"

Haku's smile grew even brighter. "Right. And knowing you'll try to visit makes it all the better. I'll be waiting."

Haku's eyes sparkled with excitement as she turned to Naruto, a playful grin on her face. "There's something I want to do for my birthday today before you leave," she said, her cheeks slightly flushed with anticipation.

Naruto raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What is it? I'll do anything for your birthday, Haku!"

Haku giggled softly, her heart racing. "I've always wanted you to carry me. You know, like in a piggyback ride?"

A wide smile spread across Naruto's face. "Is that all? I can definitely do that!" Without waiting for another moment, he bent down and let her climb onto his back. Haku wrapped her arms around his neck, and Naruto secured her legs as he stood up, the warmth of her body against him making him feel both happy and proud.

"Okay, hold on tight!" he said, and with that, he started to walk towards the Hokage office, Haku's laughter ringing in his ears. As they made their way through the streets of the Leaf Village, passersby glanced at them with smiles, some even whispering about the cute couple they saw.

Haku nestled her head against his back, feeling safe and cherished. "This is perfect," she murmured, a content sigh escaping her lips. "Thank you for indulging me, Naruto."

"Anything for you," Naruto replied cheerfully, his heart swelling at the thought of making her happy. "I can't believe you've wanted to do this all along. I should've asked sooner!"

They arrived at the Hokage office, and as Naruto approached the entrance, he felt a surge of happiness at being able to share this moment with Haku. He carefully lowered her to the ground before they entered the office together.

Tsunade looked up from her paperwork, surprise evident on her face when she saw them. "Well, this is a sight," she remarked, a playful smile forming. "I see you two are enjoying yourselves."

Haku's cheeks flushed again, and she shyly looked down. "Naruto is just helping me celebrate my birthday."

"Good to see you, Haku," Tsunade said with a warm smile. "I hope you're having a wonderful day so far."

Haku nodded eagerly. "I am! Thank you, Tsunade-sama."

Tsunade's expression softened as she turned to Haku. "Since you're here, I'd like to give you a little birthday surprise," she said, her tone warm. She called out for Shizune, who quickly rushed over.

"Shizune, could you grab the birthday cake from the fridge?" Tsunade asked, a hint of excitement in her voice.

"Of course, Tsunade-sama!" Shizune replied, hurrying to the kitchen. Moments later, she returned with a beautifully decorated cake adorned with vibrant frosting and a candle on top, a cheerful "Happy Birthday, Haku!" written in elegant script.

Haku's eyes sparkled with joy as she gazed at the cake. "Wow, it's beautiful! Thank you so much, Tsunade-sama!"

Tsunade smiled. "You deserve it. You've been working hard and training with us. Now, let's celebrate!"

As they gathered around the table, Naruto couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment. He turned to Tsunade, remembering a conversation they'd had previously. "By the way, Tsunade, I was wondering why you didn't mention anything about Danzo hurting you."

Tsunade sighed, a shadow crossing her features. "We didn't want to worry you. After everything that happened with Danzo, I made sure to handle things myself. I had the support of Mei and Ao, and we managed to deal with him effectively." Her voice grew firmer as she continued. "I knew I had to protect the village, and I didn't want to burden anyone, especially not you."

Naruto nodded, understanding her perspective but feeling the weight of the situation. "I appreciate that, but you know I want to help. We're a team, right? You don't have to go through everything alone."

Tsunade's gaze softened, and she placed a reassuring hand on Naruto's shoulder. "I know that, and I appreciate your concern. Just remember that sometimes, even leaders have to make tough decisions on their own. But I'll be sure to keep you in the loop next time. You're growing up, Naruto, and I'm proud of you."

Haku watched the exchange, her heart swelling with admiration for both Naruto and Tsunade. "I'm glad you're okay, Tsunade-sama," she said softly. "You've always been there for us."

"Thank you, Haku. Now, enough talk! Let's eat some cake!" Tsunade clapped her hands together, breaking the tension in the room. Shizune began slicing the cake, and the atmosphere shifted back to one of celebration.

As the cake was passed around, Naruto and Haku exchanged smiles, their hearts lightened by the moment. They knew they were surrounded by people who cared for them, and it made Haku's birthday even more special.

As they finished the cake, Tsunade turned to Haku, her expression warm and inviting. "Before you go, I have a little gift for you, Haku," she said, reaching under the table and pulling out a beautifully wrapped package.

Haku's eyes lit up. "Thank you, Tsunade-sama! You didn't have to!"

"Consider it a small token of appreciation for all the hard work you've put in with your training," Tsunade replied with a smile. Haku carefully unwrapped the gift, revealing a stunning kunai set, each piece intricately designed and engraved with elegant patterns.

"Oh wow! These are beautiful! Thank you so much!" Haku exclaimed, her face beaming with delight. She examined each kunai closely, feeling the balance and quality. "I'll use them well!"

"Just remember, training is only part of being a shinobi. Make sure you use them wisely," Tsunade advised, her tone serious yet encouraging.

Haku nodded, her admiration for Tsunade growing. "I will, Tsunade-sama. I promise."

With the birthday celebration winding down, Naruto and Haku exchanged glances, silently communicating their desire for a little private time together. Haku took Naruto's hand and led him out of the office, a playful grin on her face.

"Let's put away all the stuff we've been carrying around today," she suggested. They made their way to her room at the Hokage office, where Haku had set up a cozy little space for herself amidst her busy schedule.

Once inside, they set down their bags, and Haku took a moment to organize her new gifts and birthday items. As she placed the kunai set on her desk, she glanced back at Naruto, who was leaning against the wall, watching her with a soft smile.

"Thanks for today, Naruto. It really meant a lot to me," Haku said, her voice filled with sincerity.

Naruto stepped closer, a warm smile spreading across his face. "I'm glad you had fun! I just wish I could be here more often. I really enjoy spending time with you."

Haku's heart fluttered at his words. "Me too. I just hope you'll come back and visit soon."

Naruto nodded, determined. "I will. I promise I'll find a way to see you more often."

Haku reached for his hand, intertwining her fingers with his. "I'm counting on it."

As Naruto and Haku stood by the window, the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the Hidden Leaf Village. The vibrant colors painted the sky reminded them of the joy they had shared throughout the day.

"I can't believe how fast the time went," Naruto said softly, a hint of reluctance in his voice. "I wish I could stay longer."

Haku turned to him, her eyes shining with emotion. "I'm just glad you came for my birthday. It was the best day I've had in a long time," she said, her voice tinged with gratitude.

Naruto smiled, but it quickly faded as the reality of his departure settled in. Haku stepped closer, wrapping her arms tightly around him in a warm embrace. "Thank you for everything, Naruto," she whispered into his shoulder. "You really made this day special."

He could feel her warmth enveloping him, and he breathed in the familiar scent of her hair, a mix of cherry blossoms and something uniquely her. "I'm happy you enjoyed it," he replied, squeezing her gently.

As they stood together, the moment felt timeless, and neither wanted to let go. Eventually, Haku pulled back slightly, looking deeply into Naruto's eyes. She reached up, brushing her fingers along his cheek before leaning in to kiss him softly. It was a sweet, tender moment, filled with unspoken promises and shared feelings that they had both been holding onto.

Naruto felt his heart race as he kissed her back, savoring the closeness. Time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in each other, forgetting the world around them.

After what felt like an eternity, they finally pulled away, both breathing slightly heavier, their foreheads resting against each other. "I'll try to come visit you as often as I can," Naruto assured her, his voice earnest. "I don't want to miss out on moments like these."

"I'll be waiting," Haku replied, her voice soft but full of hope.

With a final smile, Naruto stepped back, channeling his chakra as he prepared to teleport. "Take care of yourself, Haku. I'll see you soon."

"Goodbye, Naruto," she said, her heart swelling with affection.

With one last look at each other, Naruto activated the Flying Raijin technique, a flash of light enveloping him as he vanished from the room. Haku stood there for a moment, her heart full but aching from his absence.

She walked to the window, gazing out at the last remnants of twilight over the village, reflecting on the wonderful day they had spent together. She felt a renewed sense of determination and warmth inside her, knowing that no matter the distance, their bond would only grow stronger with time.

Haku carefully picked up the picture of her and Naruto, her heart fluttering as she admired the captured moment. They were both smiling brightly, the joy of the day reflected in their eyes. She gently placed the photo into the frame, the pink and orange hues of the border complementing the picture perfectly. Setting it on her bedside table, she took a step back, gazing at it with a warm smile.

The image reminded her of all the laughter, the sweet moments, and the love they had shared. She felt a wave of happiness wash over her, but it was quickly followed by a familiar ache of longing. Haku sighed softly, her fingers lightly brushing over the frame as if she could feel Naruto's warmth through it.

As she prepared for bed, the realization of how much she cherished Naruto filled her thoughts. With her heart heavy yet full, she crawled under the covers. Haku lay there, staring up at the ceiling, her mind wandering back to their time together—the sound of his laughter, the way he looked at her, and the sweetness of their kisses.

Tears began to gather in her eyes, not from sadness but from gratitude. She felt so fortunate to have someone like Naruto in her life. Despite the distance that separated them, their connection felt unbreakable, and she couldn't help but smile through her tears.

"I can't wait to see you again, Naruto," she whispered into the darkness, her heart longing for his presence. "You mean the world to me."

Haku closed her eyes, clutching the blanket tightly as she let the warmth of her feelings envelop her. She envisioned Naruto's smiling face, the way he would always encourage her, and how safe she felt in his arms. The tears streamed down her cheeks, but they were tears of joy—joy for the moments they shared and hope for the many more to come.

Eventually, exhaustion took over, and Haku drifted into a peaceful sleep, her dreams filled with memories of their day together. As she slept, a serene smile lingered on her lips, embodying the deep affection she held for Naruto and the excitement for their future encounters.

At Mount Myoboku, Jiraiya sat in his usual spot, his brush gliding across parchment as he worked on his next novel. He paused, lost in thought, when he suddenly heard a faint flash and a slight thud from the next room. Curious, he got up, leaving his writing behind as he walked toward the source of the noise.

Opening the door, Jiraiya found Naruto, slightly wobbly, trying to steady himself after using the Flying Raijin technique. Naruto was panting, clearly exhausted from the teleportation.

Jiraiya chuckled, folding his arms. "You've really gotten the hang of that flashy move, huh? So, how'd it go with Haku?"

Naruto stood up straight, still a little dazed but smiling brightly. "It went really well, Ero-Sennin," he said with a proud grin. "I spent the whole day with her for her birthday. She seemed happy… but man, teleporting that far still takes a toll on me."

Jiraiya clapped Naruto on the back, his eyes gleaming with pride. "Good! I'm glad you managed to make her day special. But don't forget—just because you've learned the Flying Raijin doesn't mean you can slack off on your training."

Naruto nodded, wiping the sweat from his brow. "I know, I know. I still have a long way to go. I can only use it a few times before it wears me out."

Jiraiya gave a nod of approval, his face turning more serious. "It's impressive you've mastered it this far. Your father would be proud. But you're right, you're not quite there yet. You've got the basics down, but you'll need to keep honing your control and stamina."

Naruto sat down, still catching his breath, but his eyes sparkled with determination. "Yeah, I'll keep training harder. There's so much more I want to master. And I want to make sure I can protect Haku… and everyone else, no matter what."

Jiraiya smirked and ruffled Naruto's hair. "That's the spirit. But for now, get some rest. We've got more intense training coming up tomorrow."

Naruto leaned back, letting out a tired but satisfied sigh. "Yeah, I'll get some sleep. Thanks, Ero-Sennin."

As Naruto got up to head to his room, Jiraiya watched him go, a fond smile on his face. Naruto was growing stronger, not just in skill, but in heart and mind. The legendary sannin returned to his writing, his thoughts lingering on how far his student had come, knowing that the future held even greater challenges—and even greater achievements.

As he dipped his brush into the ink again, he muttered to himself, "That boy is going to be something great one day… just like his father."
