Hey guys, I know it has taken me a while to upload an dim sorry just had things going on lately.

Hope you all are okay and getting through this terrible weather we've been having here in the UK if you are from the UK that is.

Anyways ENJOY!!!

The next morning I got up early as I couldn't really sleep and got myself dressed before anyone woke up. I grabbed my car keys and headed to the closest place I knew would be open. I grabbed everything I needed and headed back to the house.

I got back and headed to my office. I place everything on the floor and sit down to get everything started. I looked at the clock to see it was almost half 8. The Twins must be tired, but they are usually up by now.

I finally finished what I wanted and took everything downstairs and set it out on the kitchen island. I had a box with a baby grow, a small yellow bear and a pair of baby shoes inside with the pregnancy test laid out on the bear. The set up was super cute. I got a black board and creatively written baby Scott coming soon October 2024 and stood it up beside the box.

Now I wait.

Not too long later did I hear the sound of pitter patter feet running across the hardwood floor and then a adult grunt. They're awake.

I stood behind the counter and waited for Lucas to finally make an entrance to the kitchen. I saw him coming as he stretched and make a loud grunted noise. Making me laugh.

He stopped at the entrance of the kitchen and his eyes found mine. I had a smile on my face and my heart hammered against my chest.

"Morning Luke"

"Morning pretty girl" he replies "What.. What's going on here?" He asks and then his eyes land on the black board "no way. Really?" I nod and he walks slowly into the kitchen "we're having a baby?" I nod again. He walks over to the island and opens the box "Oh my god Brooke" He comes around the island and pulls me into him "we're having another baby"

"We are" he pulls back and kisses me

"I can't believe this" He says looking at everything in the box "I get to be there this time through everything. The appointments and the pregnancy and the birth. Oh Brooke I'm so happy"

I was glad. I was excited and happy too. We were both going to experience this pregnancy different together.

After Luke, the twins and I had breakfast Lucas took the twins out to his mums cafe to help her out as she had an appointment. I was having the girls around today and I was going to tell them the good news. The exciting news. The door knocked and I saw Haley walk in.

"Hey Hales" I smile

She walked into the living room and the look on her face wasn't her usual happy self. She had the same look on her face last night at the party. It was a sad look.

"What's happened?" I ask worried

She waved it off again "it's okay. You called me over to tell me something"

I nodded "Yeah I did and Peyton too, but you don't look like the Haley I know, so what's wrong? What happened? Are you and Nathan okay?"

One look at me and she burst into tears falling to the couch behind her. I quickly ran over to her and sat down beside her pulling her into my arms.

"Haley what's happened" I ask again just as Peyton joined us.

"Oh god what's happened?" She asked sitting on the other side of Haley her belly very visible now.

"Nathan and I are not in a good place" she finally says "We haven't been for a few weeks now, ever since" she stopped and cried again.

"Ever since what?" Peyton asked

"A couple weeks ago I wasn't feeling very well and I thought it was just something I ate, but it never went away so I went to the doctor and they told me that I was pregnant" my eyes widened as she spoke. She was pregnant "and Nathan and I were super excited and everything, but a few weeks ago I started bleeding and it was a lot so Nathan rushed me to hospital and I lost my baby. I lost our baby and we were gutted. So upset and miserable and I think Nathan blames me, but even if he doesn't we haven't been the same since"

"Oh my god Hales" I pull her into another hug. How can I tell her my news now. I can't. She's still grieving "I'm so sorry"

"I'm sure it's just the two of you grieving" I ensure her "something like that effects people differently. You just need time, both of you"

She nodded pulling away from me and wiping her face, Peyton giving her a tissue "What... What did you want to tell us"

Now I didn't know what to do. She asked me and I can't lie to them, they will know

"You know you and Nathan are going to be okay. If any couple can go through that it is you two"

"I guess" she kind of agreed "but what did you wanna tell us?"

"I'm pregnant" her eyes lit up and she smiled bringing me into another hug.

"Oh my god Brooke that's exciting"

"I wish it was better timing for you though. I'm so sorry"

"Oh don't be silly, I'm just glad I told you guys" she replies "I don't want your excitement to dull down because of my stuff. Nathan and I will figure this out. I'm just glad I have you girls to talk too no matter what"

"Of course" Peyton and I say at the same time.

"We go through things together no matter the battle. We will always win the war"

"Thank you girls. I love you"

"We love you too"

"Back to you being pregnant" Peyton says "I bet Luke is so excited" Peyton smiles hugging me "I'm so happy for you"

We spent the rest of the day just eating ice cream and watching movies like we used to. It was nice.

It was later in the day when the front door opened and little feet pattered against the flooring running down the hall to where we were.

"Auntie Peyton" Wynter jumped on the sofa and into Peyton "Hi Auntie Haley"

"Hi sweetie" she replies "I didn't realise the time. I better head back home" she scoots off of the sofa and smiles down at me "thank you for today girls. I needed this"

"Anytime, you know that. We love you" I reply. She kissed Wynter on the cheek and then headed out.

"I can't believe you guys are having another baby" Peyton says when Haley leaves.

"Exciting isn't it?" Lucas says waking in with Wyatt

"We can go through this journey together. That is the better part of it. We can go to scans together, feel them kick together, the birth and the best part watching them grow. I'm excited to go through this with you this time Luke"

"Me too Pretty Girl" he leans down and places a kiss to my lips getting giggles from Wynter that made us laugh.

"Our babies will be the best of friends" Peyton smiles

"Just like their mom's" Luke replies with a smile on his face.

After Peyton left Luke and I bathed the twins and put them to bed. They both dropped off quite easily and then Lucas and I sat on the sofa watching a movie. He was sat up right and I laid with my back against him an his arm around me.

His hand went to my still flat stomach and a feeling ran through my body. I snuggled into him.

"I never would have thought that we would be sitting here right now with twin babies and one on the way" Lucas randomly says "but it is the best feeling ever. You guys mean the world to me and I love you so much. Never thought you could love someone as much as I love you"

"We based this relationship on a foundation of friendship Luke and I'm so glad we finally just jumped into bed to just do it, but I'm glad it turned out like this" he leans down and kisses my head

"I know waking up was the best thing for you, but waking up to the news that I got two babies made everything worth while"

I agreed. Of course I did. Him waking up made my life whole. Visiting him in hospital all this time broke my heart. Watching as my babies left their daddy broke my heart. Him waking up mended that and our lives became better and now we are experiencing a pregnancy together and I couldn't be happier.
