"Mmm…" Ellie mumbled, standing before the large stairway towards the zoo entrance as she wore a light-blue vest on top of a soft-pink tee-the star stretched by her bust a bit, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of pink and yellow shoes with stars along the heel, 'Oh…A-Am I early? Did I show up too late?'
"Oi~!"
"Hmm?" Ellie blinked as she looked ahead, seeing Miyuki walking over with Sonia following behind, "Oh! M-Ms. Nanaya!"
"Oh please, Ellie. You can call me Miyuki," Miyuki assured with a light giggle before gesturing to Sonia, "This is Sonia."
"Sonia? A-As in the famous idol and singer?" Ellie asked in surprise.
"Former idol and singer. I decided to semi-retire. Not really gonna do public stuff, but I'll still be writing and singing songs," Sonia shrugged, "But I also like to be called Misora in public since folks don't realize I'm me due to me being a late bloomer." She offered her hand, "It's nice to meetcha! Sensei has been really excited about this."
"Eh? R-really?" Ellie blinked.
"I was hoping my two students would be able to get alone well," Miyuki explained with a smile.
"Oh~" Ellie noted before smiled a bit at Sonia while accepting her handshake, "I-it's a pleasure to meet you S…um..I mean Misora. Honestly…I never thought I'd end up meeting two famous celebrities lately."
"Well now ya have!" Sonia giggled, "Here's to a fun day!"
"R-Right!" Ellie agreed.
'Oh my goodness, she's a shy gal like Geo-kun was when we first met,' Sonia thought in amusement before glancing at the zoo entrance down the stairs, 'Hoo boy…I'm really going to a zoo…this is either gonna be amusing thanks to Sensei and Ellie-chan or annoying from the animals talking.'
As the trio began to walk off into the Zoo, a certain duo of sisters were watching them from a distance, their eyes focused on Sonia a bit.
"So…" Karai began, wearing some casual clothing while munching on a burger with one hand, "That her, huh?"
"It appears to be," Aoiro replied, wearing a mixture of casual and formal.
"Goddamn does she look hot."
"...Really, sister?"
"What? She grew fast since that weird high school drama show she starred in," Karai replied, "She's got all the right curves in the best places!"
"Ugh…you really need to keep your urges in check…" Aoiro facepalmed.
"Nevah!" Karai declared, pointing at the sky...before being dragged by her ear, "Ah! Owowowow…"
"Just focus on the mission…"
"Okay…We're here in the south entrance, so the closest places would be…" Miyuki muttered, looking at a digital map.
"Historic Hill, Lakeside Crossing, and River's Edge," Sonia listed, "They all sound neat from the names alone."
"True…" Ellie whispered.
"Where do you wanna look first?" Sonia asked, turning to Elie.
"Hmm…how about Lakeside Crossing?" Ellie offered, "That way we can head straight to The Wild right afterwards."
"Great idea!" Sonia cheered, clapping her hands together with a bright smile, "Oh! We get to see sea lions and seals! Oh, they're just so cute~!"
"They are?" Miyuki asked.
"I've seen them up close before and they're all just adorable and really cuddly!" Sonia giggled, 'Albeit, I was in Wave Change at the time and found them in the wild when I was getting used to Wave Changing with Lyra, but still…'
"...hmm…well I suppose that wouldn't hurt," Miyuki shrugged a bit, "And if we get hungry, we can head to the cafes in Lakeside Crossing or Discovery Corner." she smiled at Ellie, "Good idea, Ellie!"
"Yatta! Onwards to the cute water babies!" Sonia cheered as she grabbed Ellie's hand and ran off, pulling the white-haired girl off with a yelp.
"Ah, wait up, you two!" Miyuki called as she ran after them, none aware of an orange eye peeking out from some bushes.
"Nukikiki. This is the most fun I've had in weeks. Ran's such a stick when it comes to coming to the zoo," they snickered before turning to see Karai and Aoiro enter, "Hm? …Something's up with those two, nuki."
"...too large a crowd," Aoiro whispered, seeing that the zoo was kinda packed with various people, "Too risky to attempt our normal tactics…"
"Oh gee~ What a shame~" Karai sighed in an exaggerated manner, "Guess we'll be looking at three sexy busty babes for a bit longer~" her ear was grabbed once more, "Owowowow! Uncle, uncle!"
"No uncle," Aoiro simply responded as she walked off, still dragging along Karai by her ear.
"?! Are they after Amaterasu-sama, nuki?" the figure pondered, "Mmm…Tell Ran, stay…tell Ran, stay…Mmm~Why didn't I learn how to send emails, nuki?!" they sighed before an amused glint formed in their visible eye, "Guess I'll just have to make sure they're never alone with Amaterasu-sama and her entourage, nuki. "So cute~!" Sonia squealed with Ellie, the two looking down in an exhibit as a pair of seal pups looked up at them in curiosity.
"Oh my goodness, you were completely right, Misora! They're just so adorable!" Ellie cooed.
"They seem to be quite friendly," Lyra noted from Sonia's guitar.
"Of course. They are precious water babies," Sonia whispered to Lyra.
"Hmm…Looks like they'll be part of some of the shows here today," Miyuki noted, looking at one of the holographic displays, "The one near you, Ellie, is Mitzy and the other is Ditzy, her brother."
"(Kids! Kids, get over here! We gotta get ready for the show!)" An older seal barked near the other side of the area.
"(But daddy~! This one feels like mama!)" Ditzy called, pointing a flipper at Sonia.
"(I don't care if she feels like your Aunt Beatrice in the Hoboken Zoo! Get your tails in gear and get over here for the show!)"
"(Awww…)" both whined as they swam off to the older seal, "(Bye, lady who feels like mama!)"
"Aww~" Sonia, Ellie and Miyuki cooed as they waved to the little seals, unaware of a certain dua spying at them from nearby.
"...they're distracted…good," Aoiro whispered, lightly lowering the newspaper in her hands, "We just need to get her alien a-Karai…"
"Hmm?"
"Where did you get a corndog?"
"Pfft…it's not a corndog…it's a desert dog," Karai scoffed before taking a bite of her food, "It's basically a cookie-dough hotdog with the 'cornbread' being cake."
"That sounds like a cavity and heart attack waiting to happen…"
"Delicious, though," Karai replied, "Got it at the nearby vendor. Weird Wizard manning it, though. Looked like a raccoon."
"Karai, all the Wizards that work here are themed on animals," Aoiro sighed in exasperation.
"Yeah…but I don't think there's a racoon exhibit here," Karai scoffed.
"So you took what it offered without thinking."
"Uh…" Karai began before her stomach gurgled, "!"
"...it was laced with something, wasn't it?"

"Closest bathroom is that way," Aoiro sighed, pointing in a direction before she was alone in a blink of an eye, "That buffoon…"
"That is one large chess piece…" Omega-Xis noted as the boys for the trip were just walking around town with White giving them a tour.
"Yep. Thirty feet tall. It was original fifteen until 2017, where it was replaced with a twenty footer then 2105 with the twenty-five foot piece and this one was unveiled just a few weeks before I moved to Echo Ridge for my job at AMAKEN," White explained
"...ok but why though?"
"It's an important piece to the city because it's not only the key attention grabber for the world chess hall of fame, but because it's in the book of world records," White replied, "There's another for eighty feet in Yumland, but it's for the record holder of largest chest piece made of Solid Waves."
"What's a world record? Like those giant discs Kelvin's got in the basement that play music when you put a needle to them?" Omega-Xis asked.
"No. A World Record is accomplishing what would normally be an impossible task and have it recorded," Geo explained.
"Huh…heh. Bet we're in there!" Omega-Xis beamed, "After all, how many times have we saved the world from a big world-ending threat? Gotta be a record there for that!"
"There is and it was set 200 years ago by one Lan Hikari and his NetNavi Rock," White replied, looking at his VG Hunter's screen, "They saved the world at least six times."
"Wait…What?!" Omega-Xis gawked.
"Lan Hikari…Issun, isn't he that famous lawyer 200 years back that discovered the BrotherBand system?" Geo asked, unmuting the grounded painter.
"Yep! He was Skye-hakase's brother in law since he married Skye-hakase's sister!" Issun replied before swooning, "Ah~ You and Lan-san seem to have the same liking to strong beautiful maidens that tower over them, especially with all~ the right cu…" Geo rapidly shook the Star Carrier, his face completely beet red and steaming, "AH! AIYAIYAIYAIYAI~!"
"He probably did the same thing to this Maylu whoever that is back then, too," Omega-Xis snorted before pointing at White, "Where can I get one of these world record books, huh?"
"Here's a digital copy," White replied, sending an email attachment to Geo's VG Hunter.
"Score!" Omega-Xis pumped a fist as he looked at it.
"...Why are you doing this?" Geo sighed.
"You never told me there was a thing that people kept track of doing things the best!" Omega-Xis replied, "You and Kelvin lied to me!"
"Mega…" Geo groaned as he facepalmed.
"Hmm…Maybe some lunch could work for now. We could go south to Fitz's Delmar or maybe north to Crown Candy," White noted, "The latter has all kinds of milkshakes and a massive challenge of drinking five milkshakes straight out of their mixing cups in one hour."
"Any of them 500ml?" Omega-Xis asked, looking at the world records.
"Maybe."
"Good. Gonna beat this record set by this Osi guy in drinking one through a straw super fast."
"Not sure if you'd qualify."
"What?!" Omega-Xis gawked as he started arguing with White, leaving Geo trailing behind the two.
"..." Geo let out a small yawn, 'I didn't get a lot of sleep last night…almost every time I was about to, Sonia would…would…' he blushed, recalling his friend's slumber form cuddling against him, her impressive chest pressed against him and rubbing along him, the feel of her hardened nipples behind the fabric against him, the feeling of her breath on his neck or those full lips pressing against…he quickly hit his leg with a fist, 'NO! NONE OF THAT! She's your first friend, your first Brother for crying out loud! Your friend that was already cute before this all started…that you'd watch some of her recordings on the Wave Road and congratulate with taking her to barbecue restaurants when she'd have a rough day at her career…o-or when she'd come straight over on her days off just to hang out…' he smacked his leg again, trying to force down his blush while picking up his pace to follow the two.
"You will only cause more pain for her."
"?! H-huh?" Geo turned to see Ran standing near him, "Who are…"
"Seeking relations with Lady Amaterasu will only harm her in the future," Ran stated.
"?!" Geo tensed, taking a step back, "Amate…? A-Are you an Oina?"
"Maybe, maybe not. Not all who follow the old beliefs should be lumped together into a single race," Ran stated, "But I am serious….a relationship with her would only harm her."
"...what do you mean?"
"...ugh. What do you know about immortality?"
"Immortality? Why does someone living forever have to do with Sonia?"
"Lady Amaterasu calls herself Sonia?" Ran questioned.
"No, people keep calling Sonia 'Amaterasu' when she's just Sonia," Geo frowned, "And what are you saying about immortality?"
"I am sure you've noticed that as she has regained that which she has lost, her body has been losing that connection to this plane of existence, has it not? The ability to change form, her rising stamina at an exponential rate? The sacred markings of the divine that spread with each stage?"

"I am sure if you speak with the elder you both know, she is aware of what is going on with her from that blood she took without blessing," Ran stated, "When lore of her first came, she only had the rooster, the snake, the mouse, the horse, the dragon, the pig, the rabbit, and the monkey trinity. Yet she did not find the tiger, the cat, the dog, the ram, nor the ox before the land split and vanished upon the defeat of Orochi. The penguin and whale matter not." she looked him in the eyes, "When she regains the missing five, she will regain all her power she lost millennia ago as Shiranui. She will have no choice but sever the connections to this realm, including anything of special interest."
"You're not making any sense. Just who are you?"
"Just someone who believes in the gods of old…and to make sure they spare themselves pain once that time has come," Ran sighed, "Cease your connections you want to make with her. For both you and especially her."
"Wait a s…" Geo began before she walked off, "...What the heck?"
"Oi!"
"Gah!" Geo yelped, jumping and spinning around to see an annoyed Omega-Xis.
"What's takin' ya so long?! I am getting that record but you gotta be there, dang it!" Omega-Xis growled before seeing Geo's expression, "...What happened just now? You've got that look from when Sonia broke the BrotherBand to try ta keep you safe."
"...It…It's nothing," Geo replied, shaking his head, "Come on. White might be in trouble without is near to catch him."
"Oh please. What could ha…" Omega-Xis began to ask before a group of raccoons on a trash can rolled by, White's legs kicking out of the top of the can, "...what the hell?"
"How did that happen?!" Geo gawked as he ran after the raccoons, "Hey! You get back here right now!"
'If there's one surefire way of bonding…it's with cuteness,' Miyuki thought as they stood before the Centene Grizzly Ridge, seeing a grizzly cub playing with one of the other older ones.
"It kinda looks like they're a big brother and little brother," Ellie giggled.
'Right…kinda looks like…' Sonia thought as she simply nodded in agreement.
"(Oh wow~! There are so many new naked folks, Keenai!)" the cub awed, looking out at everyone on the other side of the glass.
"(Koda…those are humans. We've been over what they're called)," the older bear sighed, rolling his eyes before spotting Sonia, "(Huh?)"
"(What's up?)"
"(That one. That one that's looking at us with the red hair and the markings.)"
"(Huh?)" Koda looked around before seeing Sonia, "(Huh?! Hey…She feels…familiar.)"
"(Kinda like a mom?)"
"(Yeah! She feels like when my mom would cuddle with me!)"
'Why are all the animals comparing me to their moms?!' Sonia complained mentally before her stomach grumbled at the same time as Ellie's, "!" she sheepishly rubbed the back of her head as she blushed, "G-Guess we've been distracted by all the animals and those shows…"
"I guess so…" Ellie whispeed, lightly scratching the right side of her face as she blushed a bit.
"There should be a place to eat near the carousel near here. Maybe after, we head through Historic Hill to Red Rock?" Miyuki suggested.
"...hmm…" Sonia and Ellie pondered for a moment before looking at each other, giving a slight nod before looking back at Miyuki, "Sounds good!"
"Great!"
"Oh, um…sorry in advance," Sonia apologized.
"Huh?" the two pondered.
'So that's why…' both thought with wide eyes as Sonia was going through several orders that covered half the table.
"She has a high metabolism so this is just a normal snack," Lyra sheepishly explained, "Oh, I almost forgot. My name is Lyra, Sonia's Wizard and manager." she gave a bow to Ellie, "A pleasure, Ellie."
"Oh! Um…it…it's nice to meet you as well, Ms. Lyra," Ellie greeted back.
"This explains why Sonia was adamant about paying for our food," Miyuki noted under her breath, "How did we not see this before?"
"I-I think it's because we've only had take-out w-with her," Frost replied, poking her head out by her side with wide eyes looking at the speed and efficiency of Sonia's eating.
"Like I said, high metabolism," Lyra shrugged.
"Not even most of the gals in the wrestling league ate this much," Ellie whispered, "...and Karai is usually a messy eater until her sister calls her out on it."
"I know, right?" Miyuki whispered in agreement.
"Hm?" Sonia looked up at the two, a hot dog in her mouth.
"Nothing," both replied.
"Mm," Sonia shrugged before resuming.
'Such a carefree attitude…' Ellie thought in awe as Sonia finished.
"Phew…Not bad. Especially that weird ice cream. Dippin' Dots…Gonna have to come back here for that and Pappy's," Sonia noted, "Sorry 'bout taking so long. Forgot to eat breakfast this morning." 'Mainly because I was just watching Geo-kun sleep…' she sighed with a slump, feeling an ache in her heart.
"Is…everything okay?" Ellie asked.
"Only if you don't count on boy issues," Sonia admitted, "I…well…I like this friend of mine, but I-I don't really know how to spit it out or know if he likes me like I like him and…" she shook her head, "It's just so awkward at times when I just want to spit it out but don't because I don't want things to get awkward if he doesn't like me like that."
"Oh, so true," Miyuki admitted, blushing a little, "I feel like that with White."
"Mr. Rose?" Ellie pondered, "He actually got nervous and stammered when Ralph asked him about his intentions with you while you were away."
"He what? Mmm…Ralph…" Miyuki pouted.
"Does this happen often?" Sonia asked.
"He's quite protective of us since his aunt is the head of the whole committee. Most girls in it do tend to come from bad places looking to get out of them," Miyuki explained.
"Oh…" Sonia nodded.
"So…um…Y-You're having boy troubles?" Ellie asked.
"Oh so much," Sonia groaned, "I…I really like someone…my first Brother that I ever had. We've…We've been through a whole lot…I mean, a whole lot! Even now, we're still doing some crazy stuff!" she giggled, "Neither of us mind it, mind you. It's just…" she sighed, "I've…well…Ever since we became Brothers, it felt…more than that. Both of us can just…"
"Understand each other on a deep level?" Ellie guessed.
"Yes, exactly that!" Sonia confirmed.
"I tend to feel that way with White," Miyuki admitted.
"...Honestly, I felt the same with my boyfriend," Ellie admitted with a small blush, "He was there for me…when I was in a dark place…"
"Hmm?"
"Before I met him, me and my brother…we were living by ourselves," Ellie sighed, "Our father was killed on a raid on the family dojo...and our mother went missing shortly after…"
"?!" Sonia looked at her in surprise.
"Since then…my brother had been really protective of me…to the point he always kept spying on me wherever I go," Ellie continued, "...even if my sister-in-law Clover called him out on it and often...punished him, he still wouldn't leave me alone…my depression from that day grew, so…I had to go see a therapist to help deal with it…"
"And that's where you met him? Your boyfriend?" Miyuki replied.
"Mmm hmm…"
"...and your brother didn't approve?"
"Nope…but I still loved him regardless," Ellie responded, "He helped me through my depression…and I started getting a bit more confident in myself again…until the incident happened."
"The one that put him in a coma…" Miyuki noted, earning a nod, "So you joined the league to pay for the bills…."
"Yup…at first it was hard, but I manage to scrape a win now and again," Ellie admitted, "...Whenever I'm not going against the Yin Yang Fangs."
"Oh lord…those two," Miyuki groaned, "...did Karai…"
"Several times whenever we fought…" Ellie blushed.
"H-Huh? What are you talking about?" Sonia asked, snapping out of her thoughts.
"Be thankful you haven't met this one member of the league named Karai," Miyuki spoke, the two looking at Sonia with blushes, "It is not fun wrestling her some days."
"She always pinches and rubs," Ellie added.
"Eh? Pinches? Rubs?"
"You don't wanna know," the two instantly stated in unison.
"Um…O-Okay," Sonia nodded before shaking her head, "S-So um…m-mind if I ask how you and this mystery boyfriend of yours started dating?"
"Funny thing, he was actually the therapist I saw for my depression," Ellie admitted, "Each day, he helped me more and more out of my shell…even going certain places with me I would find myself normally uncomfortable with…which was basically everything at the time…"
"Because of your brother," Sonia surmised, earning a small nod.
"We eventually started talking to each other about things we liked, and...well…eventually…" Ellie paused as she blushed, "We fell in love…" she looked at Sonia, "It…honestly sounds like you and this boy. You've been together for a few years, right?"
"Uh-huh," Sonia nodded.
"They live together, too," Lyra added.
"Lyra~!" Sonia yelped, blushing.
"What? It's true."
"Even more comparisons…" Ellie whispered, "...Though you're both lucky…I can't even afford a Wizard with the bills and rent…"
"Ah…" Sonia frowned a little.
"M-Maybe one will find you," Frost noted from her peeking spot by Miyuki, "L-Like I did with with Miyuki."
"And me with Sonia," Lyra added, "Sometimes, there are Wizards that are made and they end up just…going out on their own."
"Maybe…" Ellie noted, "S-Still…you're living with the boy you like?"
"Like Lyra said…" Sonia replied, glowering at her FM-Ian friend, "It was the closest place to the studio I worked at on a show and the people there are pretty nice." she looked up at the sky, "There's even a great place to look at all the stars without much light pollution for when a really bad day happened at the set or just in general. But…it's also important because that spot was where we became each other's first Brother. It holds a lot of memories dear to my heart."
"And do you often hang out with him?"
"All the time if I wasn't doing sets at the studio or doing concerts," Sonia replied.
"...And he didn't mind any of it?"
"Huh? Mmmm…Not really. Sometimes, he'd even thank me for just pulling him off somewhere to do something random," Sonia replied, "And sometimes, when I'd just be so stressed out from my career, he'd surprise me with barbecue or go somewhere private so I could vent it out without damaging anything important."
"I'm taking that's how you perfected breaking coconuts," Miyuki giggled.
"Yep!"
"...It honestly sounds like you have been dating this whole time without either of you realizing it," Ellie noted, blinking a few times in surprise.
"H-Huh?!"
Ellie nodded, "It…It's just a personal opinion, but…I think the reason you're so nervous right now is, well…y-your body feels ready to go to the next step but you haven't mentally caught up because you thought you were just friends."
"...I…I see," Sonia noted, letting that info sink in as her blush grew, 'That…actually explains a few things…'
"So…she's been having issues lately because she's only now started thinking of him as the boyfriend when, in actuality, they've unknowingly been at that stage and Sonia's body is trying to tell her mind to 'seal the deal' so to speak?" Lyra summed, earning a nod, "...Well…Should be easy enough to get the two boys out. Mega especially."
"L-Lyra?!" Sonia yelped, quickly turning to the white harp.
"What? Y-" Lyra began.
"W-Wizard off! Wizard off!" Sonia stammered and quickly muted her VG Hunter.
"Um…M-Maybe we should get on with seeing the zoo?" Miyuki offered.
"Yes! Yes, very much yes!" Sonia quickly agreed, a bit of steam coming off the top of her head, "N-Need to see cute things!"
"Oh dear…" Ellie cringed, "D-Did I do that?"
"No, I don't think you did much more than point out the obvious," Miyuki replied, patting her shoulder in assurance before both yelped as Sonia pulled them up and off.
"To the animals!" Sonia declared.
"Ahh! R-right!"
"...You heard all that, right sis?" Karai whispered, the two lowering some newspapers away from their faces as they sat at a nearby table.
"That was a bit of an adorable cover story for those two, yes," Aoiro noted.
"Yeah, but you heard what miss 'Rising Star' said, right?" Karai asked with a grin, "She doesn't have a Wizard~"
"...What are you scheming?"
"Hmm?"
"You're planning something," Aoiro noted.
"Well, haven't you been feelin' it?"
"Yes, but there's no need. We're having a comfortable lifestyle at the moment."
"...hmph. Funny coming from you," Karai snorted, earning a raised brow from her, "I'm surprised how quick you are at forgetting our mission…"
"..."
"Heh. C'mon…if we're lucky, we can catch 'em all alone," Karai smirked as she got up and followed after the girls.
"...Tch," Aorio frowned before following, neither aware of the figure still watching them from the carousel's roof.
"...oh I don't like the sound of that, nuki…" the figure whispered.
'Well…at least I'm not thinking of earlier anymore…' Sonia thought, her eye twitching.
"(Awoo! Oh, you are lookin' mighty fine!)"
"(Ey~Check me out, babe! Mighty lean, eh?)"
"These wolves seem to be really excited at seeing us, don't they?" Ellie asked, looking at the wolf enclosure where several wolves were all barking, yipping, and howling.
"Yes…excited," Miyuki muttered, noticing the irked look on Sonia's face, 'I know the feeling all too well when it comes to foxes while I'm transformed, kyu…'
"E-Excuse me for a moment…" Sonia spoke as she walked off, "Have to powder my nose real quick."
"Um…O-Okay," Ellie nodded.
"..." Miyuki giggled, "I think Sonia seems to like you as a friend."
"Wh-What?!" Ellie squeaked, her face turning pink.
"I'm serious. You two have been getting along really well today," Miyuki noted, "I wonder if you'll make a BrotherBand by the end of the day."
"...You really think so?" Ellie asked.
"I know so," Miyuki winked before a sharp bark made the two look at the enclosure…to see Ammy in it and growling at the wolves, 'Oh no…'
"O-Oh my…!" Ellie gasped, "What a beautiful wolf." Ammy let out a loud snarl before pouncing at the wolves, "Ah!"
"Ooh…" Miyuki cringed as the two covered their eyes as the sounds of carnage went off.
"(I HAVE A MATE ALREADY, DAMMIT! YOU ASSHOLE QUIT IT WITH THE FLIRTING AND MATE CALLING!)" Ammy ranted in the large fight cloud that engulfed the enclosure, "(NOW LEAVE ME BE!)" the dust settled, revealing the wolves pummeled and twitching with various bumps and bruises on them before Ammy huffed and ran off before Sonia returned a minute later with a smile, "Ahh~I feel so much better! So what'd I miss?"
"A…beautiful white wolf just suddenly came into the enclosure and attacked the other ones," Ellie replied, trying to gather her thoughts on what just happened.
"Hm? Guess she must've been annoyed with the boys in there," Sonia noted innocently as Miyuki facepalmed behind Ellie, who was focused on Sonia and trying to explain what happened.
"Oh…I suppose so," Ellie whispered, "Though she really was a beautiful wolf…red lines included."
"?!" both Sonia and Miyuki tensed up at that.
"...Did...I say something wrong?"
"Just…bummed that I missed such a neat sight, is all," Sonia replied.
"Oh, yes, yes. That is true. It was quite interesting to see," Miyuki nodded, "Well, s-seeing how the wolves are…er…sleeping, I guess? ...shall we move on to the Big Cat Country area of the Red Rocks?"
"...um…sure," Ellie responded, blinking a bit at how…strange they acted as she began to follow them, 'Was…there something special about that wolf?'
"Misora, you heard that right?" Miyuki whispered to Sonia once they were further away from Ellie.
"Hai, sensei," Sonia agreed, "She must believe a bit in the Fudegami if she can see…them…oh shoot."
"What?"
"Sensei, they're on me," Sonia reminded, gesturing to her face and tugged a little on her shirt collar to expose her heart marking.
"?!" Miyuki tensed at that, "...uh…Ellie? Me and M-I mean Sonia need to go check on something real quick!" she quickly said as she and Sonia began to walk off.
"Eh? But…"
"We'll meet you in Big Cat Country!" Sonia shouted as they began to run.
"...that…was really odd," Ellie whispered to herself, "What's gotten into them?" she tilted her head, "Did they get an email that's making them worry?" she bit her lower lip, "Oh…I hope everything is alright."

"When it's you, yes…" Ellie deadpanned a bit before yelping when she felt her rear being smacked.

"Wh…" Ellie began before Karai wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into her, the white-haired girl's back pressing against the black-haired girl's large chest, "?!" H-Hey!"
"My apologies for this, Ms. Tsuchikaze," Aoiro spoke as she walked around her sister, "But…we do have a job we need to do and, unfortunately for you…you're our Electromagnetic Frequency Match."
"?! Y…Your what?" Ellie whispered as she was dragged into a secluded area.
"You know of us as Karai and Aoiro, but while that is partly true…" Aoiro spoke before her body was engulfed in a white/pale blue radiation that dispersed, revealing a dog-like EM being with bits of dark-blue armor, "...we are also FM-Ians."
"?!" Ellie froze up, letting Karai let her go as red radiation engulfed her and dispersed to reveal a near-identical copy of Aoiro's form but in black and red…and half her size.
"Call us Canis Major and Canis Minor as this," Aoiro introduced.
"I ain't no minor!" Karai snapped.
"Who's the eldest of us, sister?"
"I…d'oh…!"
"What…do you want with me?" Ellie asked, slightly nervous at the moment as she stared at the two, "And what do you mean I'm your Match? Wh-What are you?!"
"We're aliens made of electromagnetic frequencies known as 'FM-Ians,'" Canis Major replied, "Once a single being before being split in two."
"As for what a 'match' is, well…we're not exactly as powerful as we should be while on this planet," Canis Minor snorted, "So to compensate for the loss of power, we gotta find someone who matches our frequencies."
"And it just so happens..." Canis Major began as she pointed at Ellie, "To be you, Miss Tsuchikaze."
"Wh-What are you going to d-do…?" Ellie gulped.
"We gotta borrow your hot bod for a big ol' job we got paid for by this guy," Canis Minor smirked, "Terminate Sonia Strumm and her FM-Ian Lyra."
"?! Wh-what?!" Ellie gasped at that.
"Yeah, see…Seems they've got something in 'em that the guy wants, but it'll only come out when they're dead," Minor shrugged.
"Again, I deeply apologize for what comes," Major apologized, "In truth…it was fun getting to have those matches with you."
"Hell yeah it was," Minor grinned before the three began to glow before the two FM-Ians shot into Ellie's VG Hunter, the screen displaying 'TRANSCODE 22 - CANIS TRINITY' before she was engulfed in red and blue radiation.
"Mmm…" Geo mumbled under his breath, poking his sandwich with a fork in a small diner/corner store.
"Troubles?" White asked, sipping a milkshake.
"A…A little, yeah," Geo replied, looking up from his poking, "How…do you know if you like someone, but you're also worried doing so will just hurt them more than be good?"
White raised a brow, "Well…that's a difficult question without the right stuff provided. Are they close?" Geo nodded, "Well…I'm gonna set a hypothesis, alright? We'll use you and Sonia for it. What is a normalcy you two had the last few years?"
Geo blinked, "Um…well…I always tried to check in on her at her former job as an actress, deleting viruses to keep her from having to do too many retakes. If I saw she was getting stressed out, I'd make sure to go grab some barbecue and then take her to this one island in the Pacific ocean or Vista Point to just let it all out. When things get too much for me, she'd just seem to be right there, causing something that'd make me forget what was digging into me. Sometimes it'd be to places I'd be uncomfortable at, yeah, but mostly it was just to places that were…quiet with a good view of the sky."
"Uh-huh…" White nodded, "Well…Geo, it kinda sounds to me like you've been dating without even realizing it."
"Wh-what?! Geo gawked, blushing.
"Yes. You and Sonia have been dating and you never realized it," White replied, "You both seem to just bring something out in one another that can't be brought out by others. Who cares what people think so long and you both have a healthy relationship? They aren't you nor Sonia."
"I…I see…"
"For all I know, you may end up having sex when you do admit due to how close you two already are. Just make sure to have a condom when you do."
"W-White?!" Geo squeaked.
"?!" Omega-Cis suddenly tensed up, "…Oi, Geo."
"Hmm?" Geo looked over at the AM-Ian.
"I just felt some EM radiation go off," Omega-Xis frowned, "And what's odd…it feels like Gemini's."
"Pat's near here?"
"No. It's not Gemini's, but it feels almost like it," Omega-Xis replied, rubbing his chin in thought, "Ugh…I swear, I think I've felt this before…"
"I'm guessing it's bad," White noted.
"Hm?"
"Well, if the frequency is familiar to Omega-Xis, it may well likely be someone from his time on Planet FM, correct?" White asked.
"Possibly," Omega-Xis answered, "…I feel it coming from the zoo the girls went to."
"Great…" Geo sighed as he finished his food quickly and cringed, "Gh…"
"Shouldn't have drank that so fast," White noted as he got up and helped Geo up.
'What did he just slip into Geo's pocket?' Omega-Xis pondered as Geo rubbed his head to try to fight the brainfreeze.
"Hurry on now," White advised, "They may need you."
"R-Right…" Geo replied, "Thanks, White."
"Anytime," White assured with a smile, "I'll go and get everyone dinner for tonight while you handle this." he waited until Geo ran out before speaking again, "You really wanna stop him and Sonia from dating, huh?"
"You know why they…" Ran began, sitting in a booth behind White and Geo's.
"He's reaching it."
"What?"
"Their children have been blessing him as well," White explained, sitting down in her booth, "And with how close they are, she'll very well likely mark him as her mate."
"What?! But he'll die long before her!"
"No. If she makes him her mate at this state they're both in, the changes that are coming slowly will change. Furthermore, you don't fully know them like I have gotten to. That young man has the potential to reach that which mortals like us are unable to," White countered before scowling, "You…You spoke to him about this, didn't you?"
"He deserved to know why he should cease this courting."

"If I had left, no one would have been able to seal the Climatron and the entire botanical gardens or even the whole of Missouri would be engulfed in the corrupted Fudegami's vines."
"..." the two just narrowed their eyes at the other.
"..." White pulled out a small amount of Zenny notes and put them on the table, "I'll pay for you since we were friends. Stay away from my charges."
"I do not fear you."
"But you fear Crimson," White replied, tapping his eyepatch before he left…before yelping as he tripped on nothing and went rolling out the door and into a trashcan, causing him to roll down the road, "NOT AGAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIN~!"
"...The Kami are meant to be above us mortals…" Ran frowned.
"I'm getting worried," Sonia noted as she and Miyuki stood near the enclosure for the tigers, "She's taking a lot longer than she should to get here from the wolves. She should've been here before us!"
"I'm sure she got sidetracked by something," Miyuki replied…yet she couldn't help but worry herself before her VG Hunter rang.
=Y-You have a message= Frost spoke from Miyuki's VG Hunter.
"Oh what now?" Miyuki groaned before pulling up her email, "?! Misora, an EM Radiation was detected…here at the zoo."
"Eh?! …Oh no!" Sonia gasped, her tail and ears popping out in her shock, "D-Do you think Ellie-chan was…"
"It makes sense," Miyuki grimaced.
"Frost and I should've stayed behind," Lyra frowned.
"We'll have to owe her apologies later," Sonia spoke, "For now, we need to make sure she's alright. And if not and she's the cause of them? …We beat her up and give her a lot of apologies for letting this happen."
"Agreed," Miyuki frowned as the two quickly ran into a secluded area for cover, "Wave Change."
"Transcode 004/021! Lyra Note/Blizzard Kyuubi! On The Air!" the two shouted, quickly transforming.
"...Oh! That look is so cute!" Lyra Note beamed as she looked at Blizzard Kyuubi.
Much like the previous time, Blizzard Kyuubi's attire had changed up. It looked almost like an armored version of her regular wrestling attire. Her chest was still covered by diamond-shaped armor in the form of three diamonds while her bodysuit had become gray in color. Her hair was still pulled into its wild ponytail, but now came out of a rounded helmet like Megaman or Lyra Note's with her fox ears peeking out of the top with a snowflake on the forehead area.
"Why thankyu, Misora-chan," she thanked, "But finding Ellie-chan first. Then compliment our looks."
"Hai!" Lyra Note nodded as they ran off to where they last saw Ellie, "Ah!" she knelt down and picked up a purse, "This was Ellie-chan's." she sniffed at it and then the air, "...I got her scent."
"Then let's hurry," Blizzard Kyuubi stated.
"That way!" Lyra Note pointed before running off.
"Misora, wait! Y-" Blizzard Kyuubi began, about to chase after her before she stopped, "..." her eyes narrowed before she turned and did a quick flicking motion, sending out a few ice shurikens at part of the wave roads above.
A blast of white lightning shattered the shuriken before a figure jumped down and landed before her. She was a shapely woman around Sonia's age with long flowing white hair wearing a gray bodysuit and a glacier-themed blue visor over her feral eyes. What was noticeable was the heavy armor over her right leg along with the armored dog ears and dog tail on her.
"...Who are you?" Blizzard Kyuubi asked, quickly summoning a katana of ice as she glared at the newcomer.
"You may call me Canis Trinity, or simply Shiro for short," the woman stated, keeping her arms crossed over her ample chest as she stared down at the Oina warrior, "And you are Blizzard Kyuubi, partner to the FM-Ian fox you deemed as Frost."
"So you know of us," She noted with a frown, "I also felt that ill intent aimed at my student."
"It's nothing personal. Just business on our end," Shiro replied.
"...A mercenary," Blizzard Kyuubi scowled, the ground beneath her beginning to freeze over.
"Indeed. Now…please do not interfere. I'd rather not fight you," Shiro advised as white lightning crackled off her armored leg.
"If your target is my student…" Blizzard Kyuubi began, forming another ice katana in her other hand as her tail tips froze over, "Then you'll have to go through me…"
"I see..my apologies then," Shiro apologized as she narrowed her eyes before Blizzard Kyuubi blocked her knee strike with her blades, white lightning crackling around them from the impact, "I will try to not kill you since I do respect you and your professions."
Lyra Note sniffed the air until she changed frequencies to get through a service door, "Ellie!" She paused and blinked a few times, "Eh?"
"Mmm…" a shapely girl her age wearing what looked to be an armored version of Ellie's wrestling uniform with extra armor over her shoulders and a pink visor over her eyes whimpered, tied up on red and blue radiation and a blue bundle keeping her mouth shut.
"Eh?!"
"She's gone through a Wave Change!" Lyra realized as Lyra Note ran over and removed the gag…before it unfolded into a lacy blue thong.
"?!" Lyra Note blushed, "A-Are these yours?"
"Behind you!" Ellie yelped before Lyra Note was slammed with a roundhouse kick by an armored left leg engulfed in flames.
"GURK!" Lyra Note gagged as she was sent flying into a wall and cracked it on impact.
"Wow. Even in Wave Change, you're one sexy bitch," the owner of the leg, a near identical copy of Ellie's form but in blacks and red with a jagged red visor and an armored left leg with flames coating it, "So glad I improved when we figured out she got her own bod from this. Name's Canis Trinity Kuro and she's Canis Trinity Core. Damn shame ya gotta die. Really hoped ta have a one night stand."
"Wh-Wh-What?!" Lyra Note yelped as she got back up, her ears and tail sticking up.
"Well yeah. Look at that ass! And your tits!" Kuro gestured, "You've got the figure supermodels would be jealous of!"
"Eh…EH~?!" Lyra Note gasped loud, her face lighting up with a blush.
"Yeah…again, damn shame I gotta off ya. Nothin' personal," Kuro shrugged before swinging a kick at her, forcing Lyra Note to roll out of the way.
"S-Sonia!" Canis Core called out.
"Wh-" Lyra Note began before she tensed, seeing sparks coming off of Kuro's knee as she barely jumped back from an explosion of black flames.
"Whoa now!" Lyra yelped.
"Hot stuff comin' for ya!" Kuro cackled.
"Eeek!" Lyra Note yelped as she jumped out of the way of Kuro's leap, "Lyra, please tell me we got some custom and summon cards on us!"
"No SummonCards, sadly," Lyra replied, her eyes glowing as she was looking at their roster, "But given that move, Canis Trinity may be a Fire-Type."
"Oh! In that case. BattleCard Predation! Tidal Edge!" Lyra Note declared before Lyra glowed and transformed into a katana that seemed to be made of water, "Eh? Why did you change and not my hand?"
"This is new…" Lyra noted.
"Oh ho~ Wanna get wet I see~?" Kuro grinned, standing up on one arm before flipping herself over into a pouncing position, "Oh just try to get me soaked~"
"Mmm…Okay," Lyra Note replied as she reached into her cleavage and pulled out her brush.
"What the…?" Kuro began before Lyra Note looked as if she made a swipe with it…before a stream of water blasted her in the face from the sword, "BLRLRLRLELRLRLB?!"
"You asked for it," Lyra Note giggled as Kuro quickly jumped back.
"Ah….fuckin,..." Kuro coughed, moving a bit of her wet hair out of her face as she glared at her, "You know…I was gonna be gentle with ya…but fuck that. Y'all are getting it rough!"
"Look down," Lyra Note advised.
"Huh?" Kuro looked down to see a paper bomb at her feet, "..."
"Ja ne~" Lyra Note waved, holding Core before changing frequencies.
"...You bitch," Kuro scowled.
"Ellie, I'm so sorry!" Lyra Note apologized on the Wave Roads above the zoo, ignoring the muffled explosion that went off below them while hugging the still tied up dog-themed girl, "We shouldn't have gone off like that!"
"Please just tell me what's going on! Why are you like this? Why am I like this? Why did Aoiro and Karai turn into fire dogs that turned into copies of me?!"
"Fire…eh?!" Lyra Note gawked.
"You mean EM Radiation. As in…you Wave Changed with two EM Wave beings?" Lyra asked, "That's honestly never been done before. Do you remember if they said they were an FM-Ian or AM-Ian?"
"That word again! What do you know about this?!" Ellie asked, looking on the verge of a breakdown.
"Ellie, I promise I'll explaine everything that I know after this," Lyra Note promised, holding up her pinkie finger, "Pinkie Promise, even!"
"...Like the franchise that's been going on for the last few centuries alongside that one with the robots that hide as vehicles and animals?" Core asked, tilting her head.
"I have no clue what those are," Lyra Note sheepishly admitted.
"Oh, so eat a thousand needles if you lie one," Core nodded.
"I have to eat what?!" Lyra Note gawked, her tail and ears shooting up.
"...What do you say when you do the 'if I lie' part?"
"Eat a bowl of snails," Lyra Note replied, sticking her tongue out, "Ech. I hate snails."
"Ew," Core gagged a bit at that.
"RAAAGH!"
"Okay, agreed," Core squeaked, taking the pinkie with her own, "Now how do we stop this?!"
"...Um…Lyra?" Lyra Note asked.
"Considering this seems like Gemini Spark but neither of them want to drop the Wave Change while you do, we have to blow you up, Ellie," Lyra noted.
"WHAT?!" Core exclaimed before Lyra Note tackled her out of the way of Kuro's black flame-coated leg slamming down where they had been, burning away the part of the Wave Road they had been on.
"Oh…I am gonna vent and enjoy this so much~" Kuro growled out, her eyes slit as she looked between the two, "Now which of you sluts wants it first?!"
"EH?!"
"You may be my match, but that don't mean I'm not gonna discipline ya! Lots of burning spanks on your bubbly ass!"
"H-Hey! Only my boyfriend is allowed to do that!" Core snapped before covering her mouth with wide eyes and a blush, "U-um…P-Please forget you heard that."
"No~" Kuro grinned,
"Why does he spank you?" Lyra Note asked, tilting her head.
"D-Don't ask, p-p-please~!" Core whined, covering her face.
"Oh please do~ I genuinely wanna h-" Kuro began before she was suddenly pelted by a blast of snow, "AH BITCH!"
"?!" Core blinked in slight surprise, slowly looking at her hand for a moment, "...did….did I do that?"
"Huh…She's a Fire-Type, but you're a Water-Type?" Lyra pondered.
"Fire-Type?"
"Long story short, when we turn into these forms, sometimes we get an element where we're stronger than one element but weak to another," Lyra Note explained, "I'm a Neutral, so weak against none and strong against none. You're Water, so Fire flees from you but Elec shocks you worse than it does me."
"...so then…the other one would be Elec then…" Core whispered.
"Other one?" Lyra repeated.
"My sis!" Kuro laughed, "Shame she's stuck fighting that teacher of yours….damn that kitsune has a fine body~"
"Huh?! M-Miyuki can do this, too?!" Core gawked.
"I pinkie promised," Lyra Note reminded.
"...She has to explain as well then," Core pouted a bit before yelping when she avoided a pounce from Kuro.

"STOP IT!" the two girls snapped with heavy blushes.

"I can just feel my sister is making things more complicated than needed," Shiro sighed, pinching the tip of her nose as she sent out lightning blasts with a roundhouse kick that shattered the ice senbon and shuriken thrown at her, "Now don't look too shocked…Blizzard Kyuubi was it? You must know our Elements are where the advantages are between you and I, no?"
"I do," she responded, keeping a reverse grip on one of her katanas before quickly sheathing it, "I also know how to handle the terrain well…"
"?"
"Ice Craft; Mirror Shards."
"?!" Shiro tensed up before she jumped back, only to wince when the shattered pieces of ice on the ground shot up and began pelting her, "Gh?!"
"You have only been in this form for, what, barely fifteen minutes?" Blizzard Kyuubi asked, "I've had three months now with Frost-chan to master this shared form of ours."
"Tch…" Shiro grunted as she flipped away from the kitsune onna, "Seems I've underestimated you…"
"You are dealing with a master kunoichi, after all," Blizzard Kyuubi smirked.
"...fine…" Shiro paused as she stood up, cracking her neck a bit as she stretched, "I've gotten used to this body…now I can stop holding back."
"Hold b-" Blizzard Kyuubi began before she gasped out in pain, feeling Shiro's leg embedded in her stomach before she sent her flying, "KYA!"
"Perhaps I should say some things better. A few years back, my sister and I were approached by Cygnus with an experimental device he made while controlling a host on this planet," Shiro explained, "It allowed us to adopt a second form that wasn't a Wave Change to better perform reconnaissance for Planet FM…up until the king changed his mind about invading this world and instead befriend it." she gave a curtsy, "A pleasure to stand before you as I am now and not merely as Aoiro."
"A-Aoiro?" Blizzard Kyuubi gasped as she got up, "You're Aoiro?!"
"Correct…"
…so you were an FM-ian this whole time…wait. Then that means Karai…"
"...Is also one, yes."
"...So you were just waiting on the perfect moment to strike then," Blizzard Kyuubi frowned before it dawned on her, "...Ellie…you were waiting on the right person to Wave Change with so you can fulfill your mission."
"Not exactly. While the plan did get canceled, Cygnus was already gone so…we decided to just see what the planet had to offer and rather enjoy wrestling," Shiro replied, "It wasn't until a few days ago that a man approached us, somehow knowing our real identities and paid us handsomely to at the very least attempt to kill one Sonia Strumm."
"...then answer me this," Blizzard Kyuubi paused as she stood ready, "Who was this person that hired you to try and kill her?"
"We're…unsure, really. He wore a cloak and a black mask with green markings. And the only name he gave was 'Jorogumo,'" Shiro replied.
"...And you're just saying this why…?"
"A few reasons, really. The contract I wrote for our transaction used 'attempt' for the assassination," Shiro shrugged, "And I do respect you as a fellow wrestler. FM-Ians are a warrior-based planet, after all. We tend to give our respect to those who are truly strong."
"...So do we Oina, but we don't appreciate such underhanded tactics," Blizzard Kyuubi stated, "However…I also respect you, Aoiro-san…but as long as you and your sister are targeting my student, then I'll make sure either of you wont get close to her."
"A bit difficult when one of us is already fighting her," Shiro replied, "And you're still dealing with me. Now that I've gotten used to how this form works, I'd say that…" a shadow came over her, "..." she slowly looked over her shoulder to see a semi-transparent green and gold Chinese dragon-based EM-being glaring down at her, "...Is that Dragon Sky of the AM Sages?"
The dragon roared before encircling her before letting loose a vicious vortex of razor sharp leaves and harsh winds for several seconds until vanishing, leaving her struggling to stand with her armor torn and cracked in several places.
"What in the…?" Blizzard Kyuubi gasped before Megaman shot past Shiro, who grunted as small explosions began to come off her while taking a knee.
"Are you alright?" Megaman asked, his left arm/hand replaced with a green plasma saber before shifting into Omega-Xis's head.
"Oh great…Canis Major. That means her pain in the ass sister Canis Minor is nearby," Omega-Xis groaned.
"...Omega-Xis…" Shiro whispered as she managed to force herself up, holding her arm as she glared at the two, "Been a long time…"
"...She's not another girl you had sex with, is she?" Megaman deadpanned.
"No! I have only ever done it with two girls and that psycho was one of them!" Omega-Xis barked.
"Oh god, do not remind me of her," Shiro groaned, "And as if I'd have sex with this mutt."
"Dragon! I am a dragon! Get it right, ya overgrown chihuahua!"
"And I'm a god-slaying machine in another life," Shiro sarcastically replied.
"...She's not the reason why you keep growling at the neighbor down the street's dog, is she?"
"No, that's Canis Minor's fault. The two are well known mercenaries that like to screw over their client if they feel the deal ain't set for them….wait. Who hired you?!"
"Jorogumo…that's all we know," Shiro answeredd.
"Why is she just telling us this?" Megaman asked.
"If there's anyone with a big enough honor and respect to those she recognizes as truly strong, it's Major," Omega-Xis explained, "If she recognizes you as one, she won't dare lie to your face unless you're trying to con her in a contract."
"And that's something me nor my sister appreciate," Shiro scowled before another explosion went off nearby, "Oh goody…" she rolled her eyes, "Minor went into a frenzy."
"Goddammit, I hate when she gets into that."
"Why?" Megaman asked.
"Geo, Major and Minor were part of Wolf's forces and Minor was Wolf's apprentice," Omega-Xis explained, "And he taught her how to pull off that berserker red form of his and she upped him on it by figuring out how to make it go off without a full moon or an expy of one!"
"What?!" Megaman gawked.
"Explanation please," Blizzard Kyuubi ordered.
"Wolf's a dangerous guy who's partners with this gardener," Omega-Xis explained, "On Planet FM, he was one of the top generals of Cephus's armies for a damn good reason. Even with the training we've done, he still nearly cleans our clocks when he goes into his Full Moon Frenzy."
"And Minor…." Shiro began with a sigh, "Best to say she's like a wildfire of black flames when she goes into one."
"?!"
"So if I were you…: Shiro began as she looked at Megaman, "I suggest you hurry and help those two girls."
"You mean you didn't subjugate your Wave Match?" Omega-Xis asked.
"No. Our frequencies were too harmonized for us to control her, much like it appears to be with you and your partner," Shiro sighed.
"...so she would be…"
"The Core, meaning me and Minor would be the attackers unless she were forced to fight…but it doesn't stop her from getting hurt by her own attacks, including ours."
"...Geo, go," Blizzard Kyuubi ordered.
"But…"
"Don't worry…" she paused, putting her hands together as she began to craft a large nodachi made of ice, "I can handle her…"
"You still wish to fight?"
"Oh, I have had a lot of things I've been wanting to vent on you for some things you did with me in the ring," she replied, "And you doing this gave me all the reason to let it all out."
"...I'm getting flashbacks to the one time I angered Gemini," Shiro noted, cringing while Megaman went off down the Wave Road.
"Faster, faster, faster!" Core panicked, riding on Ammy's back as explosions of black flames shaped like dog heads rained down at them.
"I'm running, I'm running!" Ammy replied back.
"At least you figured out how to do it just enough to keep your vocal chords right," Lyra noted from the shield.
"Not the time!" Ammy barked.
"GET BACK HERE!"
"EEK!" the girls yelped, Ammy barely jumping over an explosion of flames, her tail twitching as the pond on the ground below the Wave Roads shot out a stream of water to put the flames on the Wave Road out.
"GRARH!" Kuro bellowed, her armor all a brilliant crimson now with black flame detailing with black flames pouring out of her back in the form of demonic wings.
"Oh now I recognize her…" Lyra groaned in realization, "She's Canis Minor, Wolf's best student and was going to be his successor if he retired."
"Please don't mention her size!" Core panicked, "It's why I got gagged!"
"WHO FUCKING CALLED ME MINOR?!" Kuro shouted.
"EEK!" All three yelped before a barrage of giant ice shards slammed into Kuro, freezing her in a jagged container of solid ice.
"What was that?" Core gasped as Megaman ran over.
"Oh thank goodness you came!" Ammy sighed in relief.
"Ah! You can talk in this form now?" Megaman asked in surprise.
"Just learned it while running away from that psycho," Ammy replied as Core slid off her back and let her change into Lyra Note.
"Oh…"
"C-can we please hurry?" Core asked as the ice began to crack, "I don't think that's gonna hold her for long!"
"Yeesh…not even using the Pegasus Magic GX GigaCard is holding her back," Omega-Xis cringed before grinning, "Can we use the new RYNO? Can we? Can we? Can we?!"
"Mega, we are over a zoo!" Megaman argued.
"I ain't hearing a 'no!'"
"No RYNO in public areas!"
"Dammit!"
"Focus!" The girls barked.
"Right. Right. First we need to get her away from this area," Megaman noted.
"She's after me," Lyra Note informed.
"Canis Major told us that," Omega-Xis replied, "Your teach is showing her some things."
"Nice!"
"..wait that's right…Miyuki's part of this too," Core recalled with a whisper.
"It's a bit of a long story and I promise you'll get answers," Megaman assured, "But right now, we need to get out of this area, preferably to the nearest river."
"But..what about the animals?" Core asked in concern.
"Is this girl for real?" Omega-Xis deadpanned.
"First time Wave Changing…" Lyra reminded in a deadpanned tone.
"Don't worry. If we keep her focused on us, she'll only look at us and not at the animals," Megaman assured, "And we'll lure her away from the zoo."
"Oh…r-right," Core nodded before looking at her hands, "..."
"I can introduce you to someone who has this same issue in a way," Megaman noted.
"H-Huh?"
"The having multiple bodies with a Wave Change thing. I know someone who has to deal with this, too," Megaman explained before the ice broke with Kuro howling in rage, "Okay…may introduce you to him after we beat her. Now how do we lure her away without using Sonia as bait?"
"I have a simple and easy method to get her to focus solely on you and me, Geo," Omega-Xis stated before inhaling deeply and shouting, "MINOR SLEEPS WITH A PLUSH DOLL OF OPHIUCHUS WITH EXTRA STUFFING THE CHEST AREA!"
"?!" Kuro froze with a look of horror…before it bled into unbridled berserk rage, "I told you that in private…Rrrrrrrr!-! OMEGA-XIS!-!-!-!"
"And now we, as in Geo and I, book it," Omega-Xis grinned as Megaman's eye twitched madly.
"Oh great…Thank you for nothing, you useless reptile," Megaman sighed out a sarcastic thanks before shooting down the Wave Roads to the east, Kuro in hot pursuit with a bellow of rage.
"...well…Omega-Xis does know how to anger and distract people well," Lyra noted as both Lyra Note and Canis Core blinked a few times.
"We'd better follow and put out the fires she's causing on the Wave Roads," Lyra Note advised, "Do you carry Water-Type BattleCards?"
"Um, a few," Core replied.
"Right. Crash course in Predation then!" Lyra Note beamed, "And I can answer some of your questions while we put the fires out, too!"
"Oh thank goodness…" Core sighed in relief before yelping as she starting sinking into the Wave Road, "Ah! Wh-What's happening?! What's going on?!"
"Easy, easy! Take deep breaths and focus!" Lyra Note yelped, holding onto her and pulling her back up onto it, "Right now, your body has been converted into EM Waves, which is how we're able to be on these Wave Roads. You can even alter your frequency to phase through objects like buildings and vehicles." she sighed in fondness, "You never forget your first vehicle you phase through…"
"I…I see," Core whispered, cautiously looking down as she stood on top of the Wave Road, "...so this…is my life now huh…?" she whispered before sighing, "I guess that's it for the Rising Star…" Lyra Note chopped her on the head, "Owie!"
"No! None of that!" Lyra Note scolded, "You are still able to do that. You just need to learn how to cancel the Wave Change. You'll be able to go back to it." she winked, "After all, I wouldn't have been able to continue my career if I was stuck as Lyra Note and Geo couldn't be himself if he was stuck as Megaman."
"...th…that is true…I guess," Core whispered, rubbing the spot she hit her in a bit.
"Exactly!" Lyra Note beamed, her tail wagging, "Now let's get on to Predation! You simply say 'BattleCard Predation' and then the BattleCard you wanna use! It'll materialize on your arm if it's a weapon or make it appear like Geo did to freeze her!"
"Oh…ok," Core whispered, pulling out a BattleCard before looking herself over, "...um…where…do I insert it?"
"You don't. You just squeeze it," Lyra Note replied as she pulled out a BattleCard, "BattleCard Predation! Ice Grenade!" she squeezed it before a burst of radiation came out and she opened it, revealing the BattleCard's materialization, "Hup!" she quickly tossed it at the flames ahead, causing it to explode and disperse the flames with the frozen air unleashed, "Just like that."
"Oh…" Core noted before gripping her BattleCard, "Um…Predation: Snowball 2?" she yelped as she was soon engulfed in a large snowball, "...help?"
"I swear that one has it out for girls everywhere," Lyra sighed as Lyra Note ran over and quickly pulled her out of it.
"Oh! Nice choice!" Lyra Note beamed, "We can make a ton of snowballs from this to throw at the fires!"
"I-I did a good job?"
"Good? More like a great job!"
"Oh phew..I thought I screwed it up," Core sighed in relief.
"Yosha! Let's scoop up a ton to put out those fires!" Lyra Note cheered, pumping a fist.
"Y-yeah!"
"If we die, I swear Dr. Goodall better bring us back so I can strangle you!" Megaman shouted as they barely got to the river and switched frequencies as Kuro's kick missed where they had been on the Wave Roads.
"Hey, it got her to chase us all the way here to the river, didn't it?!" Omega-Xis argued.
"YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD, YOU TRAITOROUS BASTARD!"
"Incoming!" Omega-Xis warned as Megaman jumped out of the way of Kuro slamming her foot down where he had been, cratering the ground around her as an explosion of black flames followed suit, "Ahh shit! I forgot she could do that!"
"At least she can't hurt anyone here," Megaman spoke, "BattleCard Predation: Tidal Edge!"
"Not this time!" Kuro shouted as she shot right towards him, her leg bursting into black flames as she did a quick kick to the water blade just as it formed, causing it to shatter and evaporate.
"?!"
"Fire is hot…but they say black flames can burn just about anything, even water…" Kura grinned a bit before jumping up, shooting straight down as she attempted a spinning ax kick to Megaman.
"Gah!" Megaman grunted as he was knocked several yards away, leaving a small trench from his impact on the landing.
"GRAH!" Kuro roared, already on him with another kick…only to hit a wooden doll resembling a raccoon holding a leaf, "What the huh?!" she grunted as a WideSword impaled her, "GAH!"
"Fokx-Fu 3," Megaman stated, the one stabbing the WideSword through her.
"What the hell…?" Kuro grunted, her eyes wide in surprise before Megaman dismissed the blade to quickly kick her away, "Gah! You damn brat! Bu…" her flames that had built up suddenly sniffed out, "What?"
"Look down," Omega-Xis chuckled.
Kuro looked down to see she was standing on a panel showing a fire symbol in a red circle with a diagonal line going through it. She glared and prepared to pounce only for a pillar of flames to erupt out of the panel and knock her into the air where Megaman met her while swinging an oversized steel mallet with spikes coming out of it, sending her crashing into the crater from her initial landing and doubling its size.
"Did ya forget we've been fighting on a daily basis for a good six years on this planet and saved it several times?" Omega-Xis asked.
"Gh…Grr…" Kuro growled out as she tried to force herself up.
"Aren't you the one who warned me to not 'get cocky?'" Megaman asked his partner, keeping a BattleCard on standby.
"Yeah, yeah," Omega-Xis huffed, "Just drop the Wave Change and go back wherever you came crawling out of and we won't blast ya anymore, Canis Minor."
"Stop…calling me…Minor!" Kuro snarled as her black flames shot out of more, giving them a dark glare.
"Why not? I mean, even in Wave Change you're probably the shortest of you body doubles," Omega-Xis noted.
"Uh…Mega…?"
"I mean, you're so short, you'd need a stepladder to get onto a stepladder."
"Mega…" Megaman took a step back on seeing the flames building up as she began to tremble in rising fury.
"Hell, I bet if we were all fruits, you'd be the midget apple smaller than a tiny marshmallow."
"Omega-Xis!" Megaman yelped.
"What?" Omega-Xis asked as he opened his eyes to see the black flames that were taking the shape of a menacing dragon overshadowing the madly twitching Kuro, "Oh…"
"You…fucker…" Kuro growled out, her eyes glowing through the visor.
She crouched down before shooting at them, shattering the ground on takeoff. Megaman barely avoided the kick only to be struck by the 'dragon's' wing, knocking him several kilometers away and making him cry out from the burns that formed where he had been struck. He barely had time to get up before he had to start dodging the barrage of kicks, punches, and 'claws' made of flames as she was in a literal barking frenzy. He barely threw up his barrier to block the 'tail' of flames only for it to shatter from her doing a kick followed by a hard punch that knocked him back into the river. She pounced only to splutter and get knocked back by the river suddenly shooting a stream right at her. A pillar of water then shot up, carrying Megaman and letting him be caught by Core and Lyra Note on the Wave Road above before it went back down into the river.
"Okay, which of you put her into a Full Moon Frenzy?" Lyra demanded.
"My bad…" Omega-Xis groaned, half his face covered in burns, "Taunted a little too much there…"
"Baka!" Lyra snapped as they watched Kuro shoot back up with an enraged howl and rapidly looking around for Megaman.
"Wh-What is that a-anyway?" Core asked.
"Wolf taught her how to enter this state of perpetual berserk fury, but while he can only trigger it by looking at round objects like the full moon, she can trigger it on command," Lyra explained, "But when it gets like this…you really had to set her off something fierce, Omega-Xis."
"And just our luck Miyuki's fighting the other third of you three," Megaman sighed, "Really need to ask Pat about how to make the body double vanish after this."
"Agreed," Lyra Note muttered.
"And her flames are hot enough to negate Water BattleChips," Mdgaman noted.
"...RYNO?" Omega-Xis suggested.
"RYNO?" Core repeated.
"..." Megaman and Lyra Note looked at each other for a moment..before they sighed, "RYNO…"
"Y…!" Omega-Xis started to shout when Megaman grabbed his mouth and kept it shut, quickly looking down at Kuro with worry and panic.
"...Seriously, what's this 'RYNO'?" Core whispered.
"Think monster gun that one-shots monsters," Lyra Note surmised.
"And the one thing Omega-Xis gets entirely too giddy about when he gets to use it," Lyra sighed, "Boys and their destructive toys."
"Wait, what?" Core blinked a few times as Megaman pulled out a BattleCard and let Omega-Xis eat it before he spat out the RYNO with a giddy look of glee and excitement.
"Best chance to get a good hit in is to stun her," Lyra advised.
"RAGH!" Kuro shouted as she shot up towards them, her flames burning up parts of the Wave Road as she glared at them with slitted eyes, "I AM GONNA FUCKING MURDER YOU, OMEGA-XIS!"
"Ah! She spotted us!" Lyra Note yelped.
"OMEGA-XI…!" Kuro began before a snowball hit her in the face, making her slowly turn her head to a nervous Core, lowering her throwing arm.
"U-Um…You are a very bad dog?" Core tried to insult, "And…tinier than a chihuahua?"
"GRRRRRR! IMMA…!" was all Kuro got out before pausing, "Where's that music coming from?"
"I have a feeling my sister's the cause of that," Shiro sighed, gazing upon an explosion in the distance…while upside down in a large block of ice on the Wave Roads with only her chest and head being the only things not in the ice.
"Oh right, I forgot I had that BattleCard Misora-chan won off a bet with Mega," Blizzard Kyuubi recalled as she produced the RYNO.
"...That's from Ratchet & Clank, isn't it?"
"Oh, you've heard of this weapon?"
"Played it when the federation did those beach photoshoots in Alohaha in Electopia at AMAKEN. Sister was spending a night in jail at the time-please don't ask. Humans make some rather interesting ideas for entertainment, don't they?"
"That we do," Blizzard Kyuubi giggled before narrowing her eyes, "Now then…I believe this counts as your 'attempts,' yes?"
"Yes, yes," Shiro rolled her eyes, "Contract is considered fulfilled because we did attempt to assassinate Sonia Strumm." she smirked, "And the guy paid in advance."
"So what? That's it?" Blizzard Kyuubi asked.
"Eh," Shiro shrugged, "Pretty much. I mean, it's more than likely your students and Megaman beat up my sister and she's honestly the stronger of the two of us. I know when to back down from a situation."
"Will you release her from the Wave Change?"
"Yes, but I'll need my sister and her nearby. Otherwise, I have no clue what will happen to her. First time transforming with a human," Shiro shrugged…well…she tried to shrug.
"...Then they just need to knock her out then," Blizzard Kyuubi noted.
"Ah," Shrio nodded, "Now…May I request some help getting out of this?"
"Oh, of course," Blizzard Kyuubi smiled…before aiming the RYNO right at her, "I just remembered what you did yesterday in our match and making me inadvertently flash White-kyun."
"Oh sh…" Shiro's eyes widened as the fox Oina pulled the trigger.
"So much kaboom~" Omega-Xis awed, looking down at the large crater, "Can we fire it again just for the hell of it?"
"It's recharging," Megaman replied, holding up the grayed out BattleCard.
"Dammit!"
"Uh…um…wh-what is this?" Core gulped, looking at her legs to see the armor of the sisters now on them.
"Guess when they're beaten, they retreat into you to recover and you get their armor," Lyra guessed.
"Oh…I…see," Core whispered, tapping one of her armored legs a bit on the floor, "Um…H-How do I get out of this?"
"Well, considering how you are, normally the partners need to be in agreement," Lyra explained, "But when one part is knocked out, the one awake controls the form."
"Ano…Oh! Try thinking of how you normally look! That's what I always do when Lyra-chan gets knocked out!" Lyra Note beamed.
"Ano? Chan? Um…O-Okay?" Core replied, closing her eyes and taking in a deep breath…before yelping as Lyra Note caught Ellie.
"Should've warned you to do that on the ground," Lyra Note sheepishly giggled as she jumped down to Megaman before they dropped their Wave Change.
"YAH!" Omega-Xis roared, popping out and quickly wrapping Ellie's VG Hunter up with duct tape, "There! Now neither can get out!"
"...I…still need that," Ellie sheepishly spoke up.
"..." Omega-Xis facepalmed before changing frequencies, "Geo…we need more guy friends."
"Hey~!" Sonia frowned, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"...Um…" Ellie began.
"Do you want to wait for Miyuki to get here or should we just start with some basic questions?" Geo asked, having a good feeling what was going on in her head.
"M-Maybe the basics until she comes?" Ellie replied.
"Alright," Geo nodded, "First, I'm Shooting Star Megaman. You already know Sonia is Lyra Note. But, and this is the part that stuns people the most, Omega-Xis and Lyra are not Wizards; they're aliens from outer space from the planets AM and FM respectively."
"...they…mentioned something about planets…" Ellie recalled as she looked at her VG Hunter.
"That's correct," Lyra replied, "I'm an FM-Ian and Omega-Xis here is an AM-Ian." She bowed, "I'm sorry for the deception earlier, but due to what we are and our part-time jobs, we have to go with the Wizard cover story."
"Huh?"
"Any person registered as an EM Wave Change Human can become a part-time member of the Satella Police," Geo explained, "We tend to deal with issues normal officers can't deal with safely or deals with Jammers or other EM Wave Viruses and beings or the supernatural."
"Though you in your case…" Omega-Xis began before shooting a stink eye at Ellie's VG Hunter, "You're probably a special exception…"
"We still have Pat's contact information to help with this."
"Um…This Pat has an alien he can fuse with?"
"Yes. Gemini. They become Gemini Spark, who has two bodies to fight with," Geo replied.
"So…does Gemini turn into people he knows?"
"Huh?"
"Those are fellow wrestlers in my VG Hunter."
"...huh?"
"It's true," the three looked over to see Blizzard Kyuubi walking over, "Those two are in truth fellow wrestlers in the FFW. Aoiro and Karai, the YinYangFangs."
"...How the heck is that possible?" Geo asked.
"Someone named Cygnus gave them a device that let them make human disguises."
"Of course the stupid swan did that…" Omega-Xis groaned.
"They were waiting on someone to be their eventual Match, and eventually…" Blizzard Kyuubi began.
"...It was me," Ellie spoke up with a sigh.
"Oh…" Sonia gasped before hugging her, "I'm really sorry. We shouldn't have left you alone like that."
"Same here, Ellie," the fox added as she dropped her Wave Change, "If only I knew those two were here…I am so sorry our day out with Sonia ended up so….crazy."
"Um…It…It's okay," Ellie assured…before the three girls' stomachs went off, "!"
"...Eh-heh…Guess all that worked up an appetite," Sonia sheepishly scratched her cheek.
"I guess so," Miyuki giggled a bit.
"Bah. You girls get hungry so fast," Omega-Xis snorted before Geo's stomach went off, "..."
"...I guess we're all hungry then," Geo sheepishly chuckled. before offering a hand, "Um…Geo Stellar."
"Oh! Ellie Tsuchikaze," the white-haired girl replied, accepting the handshake.
"A pleasure."
"...It would seem your assassins failed," Vulpecula noted with a frown, not once turning to face the figure she had encountered beforehand.
"They were meant to," he replied, the two standing atop what had once appeared to be an active volcano now long dormant, "They were simply a way for me to learn a little bit more on who we fight. See what is different from others like them."
"...and you have a plan to deal with that 'goddess' and that bitch that stole my Omega-Xis from me?" she asked before gaging as her collar choked her.
"Do not presume you can speak so casually like that, but yes. I do have something," he replied as he gestured to the volcano, "You were sent to destroy this world, but you never took the time to learn its history, did you? Two hundred years ago, an organization called Nebula held base here. They produced a unique little device known as the DarkChip."
"Hmm?" Vulpecula blinked as she looked up at him.
"Their plans failed and the base sunk into the lava due to the damage a battle in the Network created in the real world," he went on before the ground behind them broke, revealing several Imps in mining uniform, "I had several Imps dig it up and, if possible, run a little…test." One ran over and bowed to the two, presenting a purple velvet pillow…with a pitch black BattleCard with a crystal embedded on one part and the other showing what appeared to be a black and purple LongSword in a dark background, "Normally, these corrupt the soul of those that use them and ultimately destroy the body and soul…" he handed the BattleCard to her, "But what if one who's already soaked in it, one who has become a Yokai in all but name, uses one?"
"..." Vulpecula couldn't help but give a smirk as she gripped the BattleCard, "You have my undivided attention now…"
"...hah. What am I gonna do?" Ran sighed, sitting underneath a tree as she sat in a seiza pose….all while White's words echoed in her head.
Her VG Hunter beeped =I'm back, nuki! It was nuts at the zoo today! This girl they were with got taken over by two alien dogs, nuki!=

=...Ran-chan?= the voice pondered before the radiation came out and formed into what looked to be teal armor based off a racoon-dog with a purse satchel, "What's wrong, nuki?"
"...Amaterasu-sama…" Ran whispered with a sigh, "I'm trying to make sure she doesn't' suffer any sadness, and yet…from what he told me…that young charge of hers has also received blessings from her fellow gods…"
"Which one? The boy or the lady who turns into a kitsune, nuki?"
"The former," Ran responded, "The one people call Megaman."
"So he's being blessed by the gods to court Amaterasu-sama, nuki?"
"It's confusing…" she sighed, "I was taught at a young age that the Kami should never court mortals, that it would only lead to pain and agony for the Kami…but now…this…this boy on the cusp of adulthood…the Kami want him to court Amaterasu-sama? Just…this is…"
"Mind boggling, nuki?"
"YES!"
"...hmm…why not give him a test, nuki?"

"Yeah! A big test, nuki! One to settle the matter!"
"That would be…but no. They leave in the morning," Ran shook her head.
"...We could delay their flight, nuki?"

"I don't mind~" the tanuki giggled like a little kid, "You don't have to do nothing and leave it to me! You just think of how to test Megaman and see if he's worthy to court Amaterasu-sama, nuki!"
"...hmm…" Ran whispered, pulling out her VG Hunter as she pulled up a news article, "...I may have just the appropriate test then…"
"Yay! Okay, then it's settled! Imma delay their flight, you get that test set up, nuki!" the tanuki cheered.
"Of course," Ran smiled as the tanuki flew off…leaving her to focus on the news article as she focused on an image of a stone bow and arrow, 'If he is blessed by the gods as well…could he be able to wield one of Mu's lost artifacts?'
Sonia giggled, sitting at their hotel room table while looking at her Brother page. Right beside Miyuki's picture was one of a smiling Ellie with a small '50' under it.
"I'm really glad she accepted your request to be her Brother after all that," Lyra noted.
"I know," Sonia smiled, "Aside from you, Mrs. Stellar, and sensei, it's really nice to have some female friends."
"What about Lu-" Lyra began before Sonia suddenly gave a dog-like growl, "?!"
"...That….happened…" Sonia blinked for a moment.
"...Lu…" Lyra began before Sonia growled again, her ears and tail popping out and twitching in irritation, "...Okay…I think you may be seeing her as a threat at the moment…"
"...I…guess so," Sonia whispered as she began to calm down, "...l-let's think about something else…oh! Maybe I can ask Aaron-san if Ellie-chan can join us in testing out some more games!"
"I swear you are really liking those games," Lyra noted.
"Of course! Plus coming up with Custom Battlecards based on some of those games is kinda fun," Sonia giggled before tapping her cheek in thought, "Hmm…may try and make some new ones…like maybe from that Disgaea game or something."
"Just a heads up in case you do. I've looked into some of the things in that game and…yeah best to be careful on who you summon from that game. Not sure if it's exaggerated, but some of these characters…have attacks that could possibly level the entire planet if they go all out."
"Eh?!" Sonia gawked.

What I took from it was to be blunt and don't give a damn about what folks may say or think.
