Carol sighed, running her fingers through her Afro Puff. She glanced around the throne room, but frowned. There was no way for her to escape. She looked over at the Koopas, who were feeling the exact same. Carol jumped, hearing E Vile yell from outside of the throne room.
"What?! What do you mean Mario and the others are here?!" E Vile screamed.
"T-They were spotted near Shiverport Shore, sir." The Koopa Troopa replied nervously.
"But how!? It should've taken them a while before getting here!" E Vile replied.
"M-Maybe they used a boat or plane? Maybe a Warp Cannon?" The Koopa Troopa said.
Carol gasped. "Everyone made it? That's great! I know they'll stop E Vile!"
"We're really gonna have the plumbers save us, huh?" Bowser grumbled.
"Well, you don't have any other option, so you'll just have to deal with it, Bowser." Carol chuckled, making Bowser grumble more.
E Vile and the Koopa walked away, still talking. Carol frowned when she couldn't hear their conversation anymore. She closed her eyes and sighed.
"Please hurry, guys. And be careful..." She whispered.
Mario and his friends walked through Holly Village, admiring the place. So far, no enemy has come to attack and stop them, so everyone was grateful for that. Unfortunately, as they got to the middle of Holly Village, a group of minions ran towards them. The villagers quickly ran back to their homes or shops to hide. A Hammer Bro threw a hammer at Mario, making him lose his power-up.
Luigi threw his own hammers, defeating the Hammer Bro and a Koopa Troopa. Daisy jumped onto some blocks and jumped on a Koopa Paratroopa. Peach jumped on its head and kicked his shell, knocking down the other Koopas. Daisy ground pounded on the Question Block she stood on, making a Fire Flower fall to the ground. Mario grabbed the power-up and threw fireballs at the rest of the enemies, defeating them.
"Finally, we stopped them!" Daisy grinned.
Jasmine looked ahead and her eyes widened. "Uh, guys? We're not finished yet."
"Huh? What do you mean, Jaz?" Daisy asked.
Jasmine pointed toward a mountain and a building made of ice. Both places had groups of minions waiting for them. Daisy sighed and groaned.
"Alright. Let's start with the building since it's closer..."
Everyone walked out of Holly Village and towards the ice building. When they arrived, Mario read a sign that said 'Mistletoe Wedding Hall'. More Hammer Bros and Sledge Bros were waiting for them there. Mario prepared to throw a fireball at them, but Luigi stopped him.
"Wait Mario! You might melt the wedding hall with your fireballs!" Luigi exclaimed.
"Oh, you're right, Lu! Good thing you stopped me." Mario replied. Mario avoided the hammers and jumped on a Hammer Bro's head.
Luigi, still having his hammer suit, threw hammers at the Sledge Bros before they could attack everyone. The girls ran towards the remaining Hammer Bros and jumped on their heads, stopping them. Everyone sighed, feeling exhausted.
"Ok...We stopped these guys. Now we have to fight the minions at the mountain and then go to Princess Carol's castle." Mario said, taking a few deep breaths.
"Yeah. We gotta hurry." Luigi replied.
After resting for a minute, everyone made their way to the mountain.
Sorry this wasn't as long. I really gotta fix that ^^;
