Annabeth's POV:
I walked around Camp Half-Blood's borders, my eyes darting in every direction as I tried to find someone suspicious.I was on guarding duty with my Seaweed brain. Even after the war with Gaia, we still protected Camp: we never were too careful.
But at the moment, I wasn't doing my job, I was kind of playing Hide-and-Seek with Kelp Head, with him hiding.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are!" I called, making my most epic scary voice.
I heard a light gasp near the bushes next to me.
Smirking, I sliced my dagger through the leaves before hearing a loud yelp.
"Geez Annabeth, no need to kill me, it's just a game!" the boy with dark brown hair and sea-green eyes said from behind the bushes.
I smirked at him, my eyes twinkling.
"A game is just another opportunity to kick your butt." I laughed, giving Percy my hand to yank him up from the bush he had been hiding from.
He took it, and stood up.
"Butt-kicking must really be your thing, then." he grumbled brushing off the leaves on his pants.
I ignored him and walked away. A few moments passed before Percy seemed to realize I had left.
"Hey!" he yelled, running up to me.
We continued walking in comfortable silence before reaching Thalia's tree. I liked to come here ever since I was little, I guess the habit just stuck.
I sat next to the tree, and patted the place next to me to tell him to sit.
We kept silent, me staring into space, a million thoughts running through my head, and Seaweed Brain fiddling with something on the tree.
"Hey, this is a nice bracelet! Do you want me to take it for you?" Percy suddenly asked, breaking the peaceful silence.
I looked at him, confusion evident on my face.
"What do I want?" I asked.
He held out his hand, showing me a gray bracelet with little elves and little owls on it.
I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Where did you get that?" I asked, feeling my good mood morph into sadness.
Percy, apparently oblivious to the fact I wasn't exactly happy, grinned.
"Right here, in the soil." he told me, pointing to a hole in the ground.
I closed my eyes, remembering unwanted memories.

And there's another chapter!
Sorry this was so short, I actually have to study for something, and I can't replace Quotev with school.
I wish I could, but it's impossible. :(
Anyway,
Have a great day!
