Inside were two matching bracelets with owls and elves on it.
One of which was being fiddled by Seaweed brain on this present day.
Percy's POV:
My stupid ADHD must have been forcing me to run my fingers along the Elves and Owls embroided on the cute bracelet in my hands.Annabeth was still staring into space, looking like she was thinking of something important, or maybe she was just calculating her next strategy for the 'Capture The Flag'.
I looked down at the bracelet in my hands. It was honestly adorable, it had tiny elves and owls on it. It was a little childish, but I was more than immature so it fit me very well.
Annabeth's beautiful grey eyes snapped back at me. Without warning, they suddenly turned fierce.
"Give me that." she snarled, snatching the bracelet from my hands.
I blinked, taken aback, not moving.
Why was Annabeth being do agressive towards me?
She stomped away.
"Annabeth!" I called, running to her. "What is it?"
"None of your business." she snapped, not looking at me.
I stopped dead in my tracks, letting her walk away to spend some time alone. I knew better than to try to comfort Annabeth, she hated pity.
I sighed.
What was up with that bracelet?
And why did it make Annabeth's mood go downhill because of it?
Questions clouded my seaweed-filled mind as I walked back to Camp Half-Blood with my head low.
"Dude!" Someone yelled as I entered after crossing the Pine-Cone trees.
I looked up to see Jason running toward me, with his blonde hair a mess, as if he had been shaken awake at 3 A.M.
"What is it?" I grumbled.
He stopped in front of me.
"Annabeth is scaring everyone, she just went back to her cabin but she looks like she could kill som-" he stopped.
I waited for him to continue.
"Wait, does this have to do with you?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
Suddenly, my anger burst.
"Well I can't know, can I? She just found this stupid bracelet, and then she was staring off into space, but suddenly she's all mean and stomps off to her cabin, and I can't even know what it's about!" I exclaimed.
He blinked at me.
"Wellllll..." he dragged the word as if it was the hardest thing to say in the world. "Just go talk to her."
He turned around and walked off, as if he was scared of facing an angry Annabeth. Or maybe an angry me as well.
I groaned before walking toward Cabin 6.
