Percy's POV:

My blood froze in my veins, hearing the blond-haired elf asking me what wrong there was in sharing a room with an elf.

She was standing a few feet from me, and the only thing I could do was study her.

She had long, straight blond hair, and her cheekbones were high with pale skin. Her eyes were a chocolate brown.

She was wearing normal clothes.

It was funny because I had imagined she would have green pants and pointy shoes. A little hat wouldn't have been too much...

Instead, she had a light purple Crop-Top and blue shorts.

She was as beautiful as Annabeth, but the fact they both didn't know they were, made them even prettier.

"So, what's wrong with sharing a room with an elf?" Sophie asked once again, bringing me back to reality.

I stuttered at the confidence of the girl standing in front of me, even with the fact she was probably younger than me.

"Uh-uh-uh, nothing wrong, it's just I'm happy to have a room alone." I murmured, rubbing the back of my neck nervously.

She smiled at me, and bizarrely, it was sweet and sassy at the same time.

"Anyways, hi, I'm Sophie!" she said, her face completely changing from stern to greeting, sticking her hand out for me to shake.

I shook it, surprised at how fast she could change expression.

She turned to Annabeth.

"Annie!" she screamed, before throwing her arms around my girlfriend.

"Soph'!" Annabeth exclaimed in the same tone.

They broke apart, and did some kind of...

Handshake?

Annabeth?

A handshake?

Not possible.

Plus, the handshake was way too long. Their hands flew as if they had practiced it their whole life. Then again, they must have.

"Thank Goodness." I said, when they finally finished. "That made me dizzy."

Suddenly, I noticed the two people present next to Sophie.

One of them was a boy, about my age, with messy blond hair and big ice blue eyes. How could he be so...

Attractive?

The other was a pretty brown-haired girl with teal eyes. She had pale skin, and stood in a graceful manner.

The brunette cleared her throat.

"Wonk uoy, oot tsixe ew, mhu." She said, matter of factly.

(A/N: Did you realize how you can read this phrase? If you can't translate the Enlightened Language, scroll to the A/N at the bottom of the page to find out how to!)

She was speaking in a weird language I didn't understand. Gibberish maybe? After all, everything was possible when you were with freaking elves.

My face must have been reflecting my misunderstanding, because Sophie looked slightly panicked.

"Hey, guys meet my two friends Biana Vacker," she gestured to the said-girl. she waved slightly, looking like she didn't understand what we were saying. "and Keefe Sencen."

Sophie pointed at the guy with ruffled blond hair with ice blue eyes.

"Hey." he greeted, hearing his name.

Annabeth nodded appreciatively.

"Nice to meet you." she told them.

"And you must be Percy Jackson and Piper Mclean?" Sophie asked, her voice hesitant, as if she wasn't sure those names were right.

"Yep!" Piper agreed happily. "Nice to meet you!"

Sophie's lips grew into a smile.

"You too." she answered.

"Well, we better go to the third floor, because I am tired of that leaping crystal thingyy." I groaned, trying to sound as whiny as possible.

Sophie looked upset.

"You used a Leaping Crystal?" she asked with doubt filling her voice.

I almost peed my pants at her stern expression, I'll admit.

How could her voice be so loud? Was it an elf thingy?

Annabeth nodded.

"Yes, why?" she asked furrowing her eyebrows in that cute way, showing she was confused.

Sophie stared in shock.

"Because it's super dangerous, you could've been disintegrated!" she yelled.

Disintegrated?

No thanks, I had had enough near-death experiences.

"How is your voice as loud as Annabeth?" I asked painfully. I covered my ears for dramatic effect.

"My voice is not loud!" Annabeth and Sophie shouted in unison, making my ears bleed. I scowled at them when they laughed at me.

I collapsed onto my new bed, still feeling tired from the Leaping Crystal. That had been exhausting. I could have been disintegrated.

My powerful and humble existence could have been swiped away in one second!

I groaned and clutched the large grey pillow to have a little bit of comfort.

I was going to go to school in four days. And I was not looking forward to it.

"Which one is my room?!" Sophie's voice yelled from the other side of the apartment floor.

Annabeth's voice called right back.

"It's room number 15, I think!" she shouted.

Sophie seemed to shuffle toward said room.

"Oh, thank you!" Sophie said, loud enough for Annabeth to hear.

"No problem." Annabeth answered in the same voice.

I smiled.

I could tell they were very good friends. They were very similar, and had a bond I couldn't explain.

"Hey Seaweed-Brain." a familiar voice said from the open door.

I forced my head to look up. I saw Annabeth standing next to the door, in a new white T-shirt and simple black shorts.

"We have four days until we go to school, and won't be able to chill out and relax like this for a whole year." she explained, sitting on the side of my bed, and looking as if she was trying to make me feel extra lazy.

"You point?" I groaned at the thought.

"So, I was thinking..." she started, pulling out a DVD from her back. "Maybe we could watch 'Finding Nemo' with the others?"

A big grin spread across my face.

"For real?!" I exclaimed in excitement.

Annabeth nodded in amusement with a smile on her beautiful face.

I jumped out of the bed, already running to the 'living room', we all shared. It was actually a room where a sofa and a television were positioned in a comfortable way.

"GUYS, LET'S WATCH 'FINDING NEMO'!" I yelled to no one in particular. Everyone was on the other side of the apartment floor.

Sophie entered the room

"Isn't that a kid's show?" she asked, plopping onto the large sofa.

I clutched my heart in pure shock. How dare she insult my favorite film?

"Finding Nemo is the best movie ever!" I yelled at her.

Sophie nodded simply, probably too lazy to argue with me.

"Okay then, let's watch it." she said, walking over to the sofa to sit next to me.

A voice interrupted our argument, which was apparently over.

"What's going on?" Piper's voice asked.

I looked at where she was standing.

was sitting on the sofa's arm, watching the non-existent movie.

"We're going to watch 'Finding Nemo'!" I exclaimed as I clapped my hands together.

I knew I was acting like a little kid, but I really loved 'Finding Nemo', and it meant a lot to me. Being a son of Poseidon must have influenced that.

"Okay, but haven't you watched it a few weeks ago?" Piper asked me.

"That's not true, you must be wrong. I haven't seen it in ages." I answered. Though that wasn't true, I watched it a few days before.

Piper shrugged nonchalantly, probably used to my obsession for this movie.

"Okay then." she said.

Soon, Annabeth inserted the DVD in.

"What is that?" Biana asked, sitting next to Sophie on the sofa.

I turned my head at her in shock.

"You can speak English?" I yelped at her.

Keefe smirked and nodded.

"Sophie inserted it in her brain." he explained.

My eyes widened.

"Is that a telepath-thingy trick?" I asked Sophie. When she nodded, I added a, "That is so creept. Can you read my mind?" I clutched my face as if she was reading my thoughts right now.

"Yeah, I talked to you about it." Annabeth said, elbowing me in the ribs.

"Ow." I complained, rubbing my chest.

Annabeth didn't answer, and turned her gaze to the movie that was currently playing.

I rubbed my hands and copied my girlfriend.

I was going to enjoy 'Finding Nemo', and I was going to enjoy these four days left until I had suffer torture.

In.

School.
