"You sure your back's not sore carrying him, bub.". Rocket heard Logan asking him. "Nope as he's light plusthis is how to get him home safe in this state." Rocket replied to him. It was late night in New Raccoon City and Logan, Rocke and Rocket had been at a bar drinking only while Logan and Rocket were okay with it, Rocke got carried away so Rocket was taking him home to get him to rest. He was relieved returning to the apartment tucking Rocke into his side of theirbed getting him painkillers seeing Rocke go to the bathroom hearing him throw up in the toilet making Rocket frowning entering and was helping clean him up.
"Let me het you some bong pie." he said making Rocke excited not realising Rocket meant keylime pie but Rocke thought of it as bong pie because it was green which he explained about to Logan making him chuckle at that. "Yep and eating something will help him feel better." he told him as he was heading to his and Rocke's room which had a Guardians peace sign themed pennant on the door seeing Rocke sit up in bed slowly.
"Here you go bud, this should help a lil but you had fun with us huh." Rocket told him as Rocke was eating which helped but was sleepy afterwards making Rocket know that sleeping would help Rocke feel better climbing into bed beside him. "You'll feel better soon but thanks. If you hadn't came with us, bonding with Loganwould've heen awkward." Rocket told him yawning wrapping his arms aroubd him in a hug as they fell asleep making Rocket Senior smile, checking on them but leaving them be heading to his room.
"Logan, are Rocket and Rocke okay after last night, and guess you guys had fun." Rocket Senior askedLogan the next morning. It was later the next morning and Rocket Senior had returned from doijg things knowing he'd asked Logan to bond with Rocket so Logan had asked his step-kit to cone have drinks with him but Rocke had also went withRocket for moral support which had been fun. "Yes, we went out for drinks and his quirky friend joined us and got drunk so he carried him home on his back so they're resting right now." Logan told him.
"Ohhhhhh that's good and glad you guys are bonding but including Rocke in this." Rocket Senior told him drinking coffee seeing Logan nodding seeing Rocket join them a bit later saying that Rocke was still sleeping off last night makingthem get it but Logan and RocketSenior had decided to keep their undercover work secret to protect Rocket and their family but saw Logan leaving making Rocket curious as his dadhad explained they did sone special jobs guessing his step-dad was doing one of them right now.
"Be-Boop mates…" Rocke said entering the kitchen. "Be-Boop buddy let's make you some coffee." Rocket told him seeing Rocket Senior smile warmly at him being adorable but letting them be goijg to his favourite diner hoping Logan was okay knowing his healing factor prevented him from getting majorly hurt having some pie with coffee deciding to bring some home getting some keylime pue for Rocke after earlier thanking the waitress who was bringing him his coffee and pje.
