Lord Ri The Husbu King: To be honest, I wanted to focus on the good aspects of Carol. She is cold, but she does have a sensitive sign. Or at least, she tries to hide it. She indeed hates Bragard 2, but she also said that Bragi looks like Bragard 1, the one she loves. And ultimately, Bragi is the combination of the two. The good and the evil. He's proven himself to be his own person, not tied to what his father did in the past, and earned a spot in the team. Carol sees him as Bragi. A being created from her DNA and Bragard 2. But Bragard 2 was created from Bragard 1. So she accepted him as her son, since ultimately, he is more similar to Bragard 1 and is like the future she wanted with him in the past. Same thing with the Autoscores. They see Bragard 1 in Bragi. And that's the last time they saw him when they were human. An innocent child with dreams and aspirations. Technically Bragi is the next in line for the throne, so that's why they act like he's Bragard 1's real son. For instance, you don't have to love the person you have a child with. I have a friend that since the moment he was born, his parents split up and hated each other. But despite that, his Mom got married again and continued to raise him with love. Because a child has nothing to do with whatever a parent has done. It's a very big message that the story conveys.

Chapter 124
The Insatiable Hunger of a Calamity
"Hold on, let's make this a little more interesting." Yomi held out his hand.
"Interesting?" Reina parroted.
"Yes. If I win, then you can make me your property. You said you wanted me to be part of your harem, right?" Yomi rubbed his neck."Why don't you go the extra mile? I'll be your dog. You can put a collar on me and everything, like one of those chokers girls wear nowadays."
"Really?!" Reina's nose began to bleed, smoke coming out of her ears."Do you mean that?! You'll be my personal doggie?!"
"Anything you want." He winked in her direction.
"Oh, hell yeah! I'm stoked as fuck now! You better keep your word, you hear me?!" Reina began to hop around due to the excitement."I'm going to make you mine!"
"Then please try your best." Yomi grinned, his runes lighting up."And don't you regret your words."
"And what if you win? What do you want?"
"Nothing important."
"It's going to start raining soon..." A young woman with black hair fussed over the rain clouds in the distance."Did you bring an umbrella?"
"Of course not." Her friend sitting in front of her scoffed."I don't carry umbrellas anywhere I go. Besides, there are more important things to worry about than an umbrella."
"Like what?"
"Are you serious? Did you not notice that intense light earlier? Or those explosions in the distance?! Or that weird music from earlier?! There's something big going on tonight! I just know it!"
"Is this another reporter's intuition?" The black-haired woman sighed in exasperation."Listen, you're not a reporter yet. Besides, did you not know what happened here 6 months ago? There was a huge explosion in the middle of town! That's why there's a hole right in the middle of the city."
"That sounds like some juicy article ready to be written!" The friend beamed. She blinked, glancing behind her and seeing a group of people across the street watching some in awe."What's going on over there?"
The sound of an explosion went off, alerting the people around them.
"W-what's going on?!" The woman stood up from her chair, feeling the ground shake.
"This is it! Get your camera out!" The friend gushed, pulling out her phone."Uh, I think we should also look for a shelter-"
The building beside them collapsed and they were both killed instantly by the debris created by two figures breaking through. Reina spat blood, her eyes rolled to the back of her head. Yomi's feet were dug into her gut as he launched her onto the street in the middle of the incoming traffic.
"Come on, that can't be all you have, right?!" Yomi asked as he leaped over to her.
Reina growled, lashing out 3 tendrils to swat the cars away everywhere and one to grab Yomi's leg. He tried grabbing it but it was pure liquid upon touching it and she threw him into a restaurant and landed on top of a piano. The man playing it immediately yelped and ran for it, as did everyone in there.
"Okay, that's better." Yomi grinned, sitting up and watching as Reina began throwing cars inside. He jumped in the air, charging a bolt of lightning in his hands."Guiding Thunder!"
He shot several smaller thunderbolts, destroying the cars and creating consecutive explosions that began to destroy buildings around. People were starting to die due to the battle going on and could not help but hope to hide in a building their battle would not reach. Yomi broke through the ceiling, stretching out his left hand."Vein Current!"
A stream of lightning shot from his hand, prompting Reina to jump to the right. However, the lightning strike split into different ones, and one of them hit her in the side. She groaned in pain hitting a tree, but had no time to complain since Yomi was rushing toward her.

'What was that noise?'
She lashed out one of her tendrils, but he easily avoided it and struck her in the face, breaking through the tree and skidding across the street.
"Meh, you're not good. You're okay, I guess." Yomi planted his hands on his hips."Come on, show me more. I want to feel my blood boiling."
"Then shut the fuck up and fight!" Reina sent 2 of her tendrils toward him, but he bent his knees and touched the ground.
"Electrical Stream!"
He released lightning in every direction aiming at the ground, and Reina felt the electricity strike her body, paralyzing her for a moment. Yomi lunged at her, winding his fist back, but she blocked it. The force of the attack knocked her back but managed to parry a few punches.
'My body...it hurts!' She winced, unable to keep blocking, and was now getting pummeled by the blonde magician.'It's like every hit is accompanied by a fucking taser! He's in a constant state of electrification!"'
He kicked her in the chest, sending her flying into a neon sign, destroying it. She screamed, sending all her tendrils out toward the ground, chasing him. He jumped on top of a car, but she had predicted this and grabbed his ankle. She flew around the street, smashing him through several buildings before throwing him into the sky.
Yomi smiled, enjoying the cold breeze of the night. He stared off into the distance, noticing the shining cocoon and a helicopter approaching it as several lights began to fall from the sky.'As expected, they're too busy focusing on that to be paying attention here. Which means...'
He felt the tendrils wrapped around his ankles and pulled him down."I can have all the fun I want!
A lightning wheel appeared briefly behind him as it rotated.

He grabbed a hold of the tendrils and sent electricity through them, shooking Reina as she howled in pain. He pulled on the tendrils, prompting her to be pulled in his direction, and punched her across the face, sending her rolling on the ground as she spat out blood. Yomi landed on the street, bucking his knees and touching the blood on the ground.
"W-w-what the hell...? How can he grab my tendrils...? They should feel like water upon contact, so how?!" Reina's body began to shake due to the aftereffects of being shocked."Just who the hell are you?!"
"Just like you, I am a person that has desires." Yomi watched the blood dripping down his arm."A person who seeks powerful opponents to fight. Although...Seeking? No, such a mild word barely does it justice...The truth is..."
She sent two tendrils, but his speed was too much for them, and kicked her in the stomach, launching her into a car.
"I've been starving for them." Yomi licked the blood from his hand, pulling out a wand and infusing it with electricity."Unlike the rest, I don't seek fights for the sake of becoming stronger or for some sort of noble goal like you do. No...What I seek is to kill powerful opponents and fight only the strongest. With my own two hands..."
He began approaching her, combing his hair back with the bloody hand."So please, keep entertaining me. I'm begging you here. Give me a spectacle and LET'S SET IT ON FIRE, REINA-CHAN!"
"Fuck you, bastardo!" Reina leaped into the air but noticed Yomi was gone. She wasted no time in flapping the ears on her head to gain some distance. Completely unaware that he was jumping from wall to wall at insane speeds. He was above and grabbed one of her wings, pulling it as hard as he could while electrifying her body until he ripped the wing off of her, making her howl in agony. But her scream was short-lived since he kicked her back to the ground. She wheezed for air, coughing up blood, and gasped when she felt him sit on her back, pinning her down.
"Never mind my earlier statement. You're super average." Yomi pulled on one of her tendrils."I'll say this, you make for a great seat. Though instead of attacking, you should have just flown away."
Reina was breathing hard, the pain on the side of her head making it unbearable even to move.
"Is that really all you have? After all the shit you were saying?" Yomi slapped her cheek lightly."Come on, just try a little harder. You can do it. Gambare, gambare."
"I'll fucking...kill you...figlio di puttana..." Reina sneered.
"There you go!" Yomi beamed."You're such a trooper, kid. I'm actually impressed. So...what's next?"
Amy flew out of the Chateau as fast as she could, glancing behind her. As expected, SONG was currently too busy fighting the cocoon to have noticed her sneak out, which gave her the perfect chance to fly over to the city.'Don't worry, guys. We're almost there...almost at the finish line...'
Reina glared at Yomi, who was skating around on the street by cladding his feet in electricity. She was chasing after him, using two tendrils to walk around and the rest to throw cars in his direction."We're so close to being humans again!"
She dug her tendrils into the ground, breaking through the ground beneath Yomi and launching him in the air where he took a car to the face, knocking him to the side of a building.
Reina descended on the ground, noticing a group of men that were guiding people underneath the subway and she had a great idea."Hey, you!"
"Hey, there's a girl running over here!" One of the men yelled."And she's bleeding!"
"What?! Get her inside and-"
Reina began to sing, distracting the men.'For some reason, my song doesn't work on that guy, but it should work on these people.'

Immediately, the men became hypnotized and were in control of Reina.
Yomi ran down the flight of stairs, pulling an ice cream sandwich from his hat. Eventually, when he reached the lobby, he noticed a group of people cowering in fear, staring at the door.
"H-hey! You! Hide somewhere!" An old woman hissed in his direction.
The magician arched a brow, noticing a multitude of people running toward the building with Reina behind them. And he had the best idea ever.
"Okay, I need you all to run as soon as they burst through that door. I'll make a distraction so you guys can escape." His smirk betrayed his words, but no one seemed to catch on.
"N-no! You'll die!"
"Don't worry. I have a plan." Yomi clapped his hands together, brushing them rapidly."Just get ready to move. And no one moves yet. Our lives depend on this, alright?"
They went back to focus on the door, the sounds of distant footsteps growing louder by the second.
"Not yet..." Yomi's grin grew wider, electricity cracking through his fingers.
He could now hear Reina singing. They were close.
"Not yet...!"
Tendrils broke down the door and the walls around, allowing the men to burst in.
"Now! Collective Charge!"
He shot a lightning strike from his hands. It was slower than the rest of his attacks, but the moment it pierced through a woman's head, it became faster. The attack picked up speed the more it went through people's brains until it became a blur, reaching the overwhelming speed of lightning and headed for Reina's left arm, completely severing it from her body. She squealed in pain, blood gushing from the wound as the force of the attack knocked her out of the building. She fell on her knees, glaring back, only to see Yomi kicking her across the face into a wall, knocking a few teeth off her mouth and hitting the wall face first, leaving a bloody print of her face on the wall.

"Collective Charge...a technique that starts slow. But the more bioelectricity it collects, the faster and stronger it becomes. It's pretty lethal since I am to aim at people's brains. But it's a pretty fun move to use. Hmmm?" Yomi noticed a tooth on the ground and picked it up, examining it closely.
Reina sobbed, spitting out some teeth from her mouth. She shakily looked up to see Yomi place her tooth inside his mouth before he started to chew on it. The crunching sound of her tooth being grinded by his teeth echoed inside her very soul.
"You know...teeth really taste like nothing. I was expecting something but no. How peculiar. But unfortunately for you, you turned out to be super weak. It's a shame. I didn't get much fun out of this." Yomi smirked sagely in her direction, slowly making his way toward her."Did you think I wouldn't attack if you had people shielding you? The whole city is our playground. People are just objects for us to use, that's all."
"N-no..." Reina began to crawl away in fear.
"My, my, are you giving up already?" Yomi tilted his head."Did you not want to fight me?"
"T-t-this wasn't supposed to go like this!" Reina wailed, shaking her head rapidly."Noy like this!"
The half-Liang stopped."Aren't you misunderstanding something? In battles between beings with powers beyond human comprehension, is it not natural it would come down to kill or be killed?"
Reina screamed, searching for her phone in the pockets of her dress, pulling it out, and trying to dial for her brother. However, in the blink of an eye, her arm had been destroyed, blood gushing out like a water fountain.
"I had accumulated enough charges a while ago. Enough for 2 Atomic Blasts. Those attacks, by the way, are completely unavoidable. And always hit the mark. And they travel at the speed of lightning. So to you, your hand just vanished from thin air. It's magic."
Reina fell on her butt, shaking her head but unable to formulate words."I-I don't want to die..."
"I'm sure a lot of people you guys killed thought the same thing." Yomi licked his lips, slowly approaching her."Want to know something funny? Monsters truly do exist. And every single one of them looks just like you...and me."
Reina screamed for her life, somehow managing to get up despite having no arms and bleeding out, stumbling her way down the street."ANGELO! ANGELO! SAVE ME! PLEASE! PLEASE! I DON'T WANT TO DIE! SOMEONE-"
"Hold on..." Yomi grabbed her harshly by the hair, pulling her back, twirling her around, and grabbing her face with his hands, his thumbs sparkling with electricity."I changed my mind. I do want something from you. Your eyes are really pretty, you know?"
"No...No, please...Don't..." Reina muttered, but her words were unheeded.
"Sorry, kid. But to the victor goes the spoils!" Yomi grinned, rubbing her eyelids with his thumbs and giving her a tremendous amount of pain due to his electrification.
"STOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOP-!"
The last thing Reina saw was Yomi's thumbs digging straight into her eyes. And all she could do was scream.
Amy made it into the city, noticing the people running away from something or someone.'Did Angelo and Bragi make it here? But that makes no sense. That bastard wouldn't want to involve civilians like this...'
She heard a loud noise, similar to a thunderclap to her right. The girl glanced at the sky, noticing that the storm had not made it here yet.'What was that?'
A blood-curdling scream could be heard in the distance and she noticed a very familiar girl stumbling on the street, completely drenched in blood and no arms."Reina-chan!"
Igniting her hair propulsors, Amy flew over to the middle of the street with Reina."Reina! It's me!"
"A-Amy?!" Reina turned to the source of the voice, unable to see anything.
'Oh, God...What happened to her...?' Amy covered her mouth when she noticed her condition."It's me! Just hang in there! I'm coming!"
"Amy! Please!" Reina started to move in her direction."PLEASE SAVE ME-"
A loud thunderclap was heard again, briefly illuminating the streets in a bright light. Amy saw smoke coming from her right side and touched her ear, realizing that her right earlobe had been destroyed. But when she looked back to Reina, she saw a gaping hole in her forehead, her face frozen in utter terror and mirroring how she lived her final moments. Her body hit the ground with a thud, blood beginning to pool around her corpse.
"What...?" Amy couldn't process what was happening, despite having a better body than before. Her soul couldn't comprehend what she saw.
"Oh? You're her friend?" Yomi appeared from within the darkness, throwing two black objects in her direction."You can take those. I went overboard and ended up calcinating them."
Amy looked down at the black orbs, realizing what they were.'Human...eyes...?'
"Yeah, I gouged out her eyes but I was too charged up." Yomi chuckled sheepishly."Can't sell them like that, unfortunately. But hey! You can keep them as a keepsake."
"You...you killed her...?" Amy mumbled, her glare landing on the teenage boy in front of her.
"Why, yes. I did." Yomi nodded as if he were talking about the weather."She wasn't much of a challenge, honestly. Can't fight for shit. She was a decent stepping stone, but nothing remarkable."
"How...how dare you...?"
"Hmmm?" Yomi leaned forward, hands behind his back."Sorry, I didn't catch that."
"HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO MY FRIEND!" Amy bellowed, immediately manifesting Micha's pigtails and igniting them, blasting herself against Yomi who only managed to barely block the incoming punch. He was sent skidding across the pavement, breaking through cars until he hit the sign of a movie theater, shattering it on impact.
"So fast...I barely even reacted...' Yomi thought as he fell to the ground. He slowly picked himself up, a smile creeping onto his face."Now things are getting exciting..."
Amy conjured a red magic circle, unleashing a beam of flames over to Yomi. However, Despia landed in front of him, her purple runes shining in her arms as she conjured a giant purple crystal that blocked the attack, splitting the flames in half and going into opposite sides of the streets.
"My attack was blocked just like that?" Amy narrowed her eyes as Despia glared back.
"Despia, what the fuck are you doing?!" Yomi growled."This is my fight! I didn't tell you to jump in!"
Despia moved her hands to say something in sign language, but he shook his head.
"Stay the fuck out of this fight. This is my fight. This poor girl is here to avenge her friend by herself. The least I can do is respond in kind and fight her equally. Now go fuck off and watch. I might need you for something else."
Reluctantly, Despia nodded, not wanting to displease her brother. She conjured a crystal underneath her to help her climb on top of a building, sitting on the edge of its rooftop.
"I apologize for my sister. She's a clutz." Yomi bowed slightly toward the Autoscorer in front of him.
"Are you sure it's wise for you to send her away?" Amy eyed him critically."You will need the help against me."
"It's fine, it's fine. I like fair battles. It's more exciting that way." Yomi rubbed his nape."It's far better than to rely on numbers to fight someone."
Amy said nothing, choosing to conjure Phara's Sword Breaker before leaping in his direction. He raised his arms, blocking the kick that propelled him into a car dealership, and broke through the crystal of the shop.
'Her attacks are strong...For now, I have no choice but to use the power I have gained.' Yomi used his evolved power, two lightning horns appearing on his forehead as his arms were clad with lightning gauntlets and his legs with boots.
"Battle Beast of Fallacies..." He muttered.
"What the heck..." Amy's eyes widened once she made it to where he was, her face contorted into one of disgust when she saw his appearance."What are you...?!"
"Just a person relishing in what he wants to do. So...what's next?" Yomi smirked dashing over to her. Amy clicked her tongue, running over to meet him halfway. Their fists collided with each other, the shockwave destroying all the windows around them. They winded their fists back before going for a second punch, and another, and another. Until they were engaged in a barrage of fists. Neither side gave up and tore apart their surroundings with the intensity of their blows.
'Something is off...' Yomi noted, grimacing when Amy double-kicked him in the stomach, launching him across several buildings. He stretched out his hand, unleashing a lightning strike that broke into several others, piercing through Amy's body."Vein Current!"
However, when the attack hit her, her body exploded into bubbles that surrounded the area.
'Illusions?' Yomi narrowed his eyes, pulling out a baton from his hat and engulfing it with lighting.
The real Amy rushed through the bubbles, swinging her Sword Breaker and forcing him to parry with his baton. To his surprise, she aimed her palm in front of his face as it ignited in fire, forming Micha's claws and shooting a fire rod. The blonde narrowly avoided the attack, feeling it graze his neck and burning it slightly. She kneed him in the stomach, causing him to reel in pain before she kicked his side. He kicked the ground before he started to backflip before landing on top of a car.
Amy regarded him with a smirk, clapping her hands together and thrusting them forward, firing a pressurized stream of water. Yomi blocked it with his baton, but the force of the attack launched him into the air. Amy swung her hands, causing the water stream to cut like a sharp blade at their surroundings.
"Distant Lightning!"
Amy noticed two thunderbolts in the sky as they exploded, shooting several more in every direction around her. She created kicked the ground, conjuring Lulu's powers and creating a barrier of earth in front of her.
Meanwhile, Yomi had landed in a random apartment on the 4th floor of a building. He was lying on his back staring at the ceiling and ignoring the startled man cowering in the corner. He sat up, looked around, and smiled upon seeing some tacos from Taco Bell."May I?"
The man nodded rapidly as he hugged his legs in utter fear.
"Why, you're so kind. I didn't have dinner today so I'm kind of hungry." Yomi took a taco and wasted no time in eating it as he approached the hole in the window, watching as Amy looked for him, destroying everything in her path.
'So she can use all 4 types of Alchemic elements." Yomi noted with interest."Must be those dolls that the others talked to us about. If so, she will be quite the opponent to fight. But still, I should be able to follow her in combat until I can figure out a way around her abilities. But..."

The wheel appeared behind him once more, turning again.
'There is another problem. My attacks aren't working on her. That exchange of blows should have done something to her and helped me build up my charges. But I'm still at zero after I blasted that fish girl earlier...'
Yomi grabbed another taco, stuffing his mouth with it as he approached the man, grabbing him by the head as his body began to spasm. Yomi felt his body being energized once more, leaving the man's dead body on the ground.
"Found you!" Amy leaped into the building, cladding her hand with earth and making it bigger, slamming Yomi out of the building and causing it to start crumbling to pieces.
Yomi's lightning boots touched a wall, allowing him to jump from building to building at high speeds. Amy was close behind him, firing several coins in his direction.
"You wanna go?! Let's go!" Yomi unleashed a web of lightning, forcing Amy to fly into the sky and avoid being caught. Yomi flew past her as he went for a punch. Their fists created another shockwave, and this time, they went far beyond just punches. Yomi was throwing kicks, but Amy was dodging and blocking like an expert. It was nothing like he had experienced before.
'This battle sequence installed onto this body is proving quite effective.' Amy thought as she created a gust of wind, pushing Yomi away as she conjured several blades of wind, shooting them in his direction.'I never fought a day in my life, so this is coming in extremely handy. I have to watch out for that lightning discharge of his. When he...killed Reina-chan, I couldn't even see it, despite my superhuman capabilities.
Yomi created an electromagnetic forcefield, blocking the wind blades. He stretched out his hand, but Amy was ahead, opening a blue magic circle and spewing a stream of water that engulfed the teen. She began freezing the water, attempting to freeze Yomi inside. The magician reached for his hat, pulled out a grappling hook, and grappled onto a rooftop, pulling himself out before he was frozen alive.
"What?! Where did he...?!" She gasped in realization.'I see! The hat must be a Conceptual Weapon of some kind!'
"Tch..." Yomi felt his lightning's reserves deplete slightly."So her water has seawater properties...Water causes my electricity to leak out of me...A little more, and I'd been drained completely.' He let go of the grappling hook, landing on top of an abandoned bus.'Still, she's strong. The worst opponent for me is someone who has multiple abilities, such as her. I can't properly begin the adaptation. This will be an even bigger problem since I can't build up charges when touching her, but why...? But...this might work to my advantage.'
"I figured you out." Amy descended to the ground, her legs clad in a tornado."Your ability...is the ability to recreate any electrical phenomena. And it heavily revolves around you building that electricity by coming into contact with your target. Which is why you're so hellbent on getting close and personal, despite having that sure-hit attack."
"Well, aren't you smart?" Yomi chuckled."So, may I have your name? You piqued my interest and I want to have your name so I can remember you after this is said and done."
"Sure. You can remember my name. It will be the last you will ever hear." Amy manifested Garie's ice dagger."My name is Amy Regulus."
"My name is Yomi Kugisaki. Pleased to meet you, Amy-chan." He winked in her direction."I have to admit, I like your aesthetic. A little old school but elegant. You're...English?"
"That's right. Born and raised in London." The British girl said.
"I knew it. You never see a girl like you around in Japan. They're all dull. Nothing unique about them. But you...you caught my interest. Your strength is unlike anything I've seen before. And...your eyes are quite extravagant, aren't they? Rainbow-colored."
"It's a trait secret, sorry. You're one to talk, with that black sclera." Amy furrowed her brow."Since you're in a chatty mood, will you tell me who you are? I doubt you're part of SONG. The people that you've killed tell me otherwise."
"I work independently."
"And your objective?"
"Just to have fun, that's all."
"Fun...?"
"You said my ability revolves around replicating any electrical phenomena. And you're correct. Well, half correct, at least."
"Huh?" Amy blinked, puzzled."What do you mean by that?"
"You'll see what I mean. Now, let's keep going, Amy-chan! I feel so excited right now! It's showtime!"

Amy clicked her tongue, creating coins in her free hand and firing them in quick succession toward him, prompting him to zig-zag to avoid them. She took a deep breath, raising her hands as the streets began to flood with water. Yomi's eyes widened, quickly grabbing onto a light post but was forced to jump from wall to wall as the water level began to rise, completely covering the streets.

'What was that noise?' The orange-haired girl shot herself against Yomi, grabbing him by the head using Micha's claws and dragging him across several buildings before throwing him to the water below. Touching the water, she began freezing it and converting the streets with ice. However, an explosion where Yomi was created a typhoon, prompting the girl to halt.
The magician was standing in the middle of the street, electricity swirling around him and dispersing the water from touching him.
'What? What's going on?' Amy blinked in confusion.'He's applying electromagnetic properties around himself to repel the water? What is going on here?'
"Now, it's time for the play to continue!" Yomi announced as he leaped into the air, skating on the water. His electricity was keeping him above the water, preventing him from making contact with his body. He kicked the ground, shooting toward Amy, and threw a spiral kick, forcing her to block with her ice dagger. To her surprise, his lightning made contact with the ice and shattered, making the kick connect and launching her into a wall. He crashed into her and started to punch her face repeatedly, cracking the wall behind her.
'No blood? I keep hitting her but I'm only just denting her face. I should have cut some skin by now...' Much to his shock, she grabbed his hand and twisted it before spinning around and throwing him into another building. But this time, he concentrated his lightning on his feet, propelling himself against Amy and breaking into the parking lot building. They both got in front of a moving car, forcing the man to hit the brakes.
Amy clicked her tongue, conjuring rocks around her arm to enlarge it, grabbing onto the hood of the car and throwing it at Yomi. The teen cackled, blocking the attack but was thrown out of the building along with the car.
"Collective Charge!" He shot through the car, impaling the driver's head and increasing his lightning attack power and velocity. Amy grabbed the attack with her hands by equipping herself with Micha's claws, wind swirling around her before she threw the attack back. Yomi took his attack to the stomach, coughing up blood but his grin remained.
Amy conjured Leiur's coins, rapid-firing them like a machine gun out of the parking lot. As they headed for Yomi they began growing in size, becoming as big as a bus. The lightning user relished the challenge. He shot lightning streams from his feet, flying toward the giant coins, and began to leap from coin to coin. He eventually started to get overwhelmed, so he decided to fire lightning bolts at the ones he couldn't dodge in time.
Around the city, the giant coins crushed buildings, cars, and streets as the screams of people could be heard in the distance. The blonde was starting to get close to the parking lot, and fire several thunderbolts inside the hole for good measure. Suddenly, the coins stopped appearing, and instead, the building exploded into pieces, a tornado lifting all the cars and whatever unlucky bystandards happened to be inside.
"Ohohoho!" Yomi laughed as he was taken into the skies due to the intense wind, feeling lacerations appear around his body.'She's bypassing my lightning armor with this?'
Without warning, the cars were now being sent flying in Yomi's direction, too many to be able to dodge and the wind was preventing him from moving away. He arched his back, charging his hands with as much electricity as he could before unleashing his attack."Guiding Thunder!"
A volley of thunderbolts collided against every single car, destroying them upon impact and creating a chain of explosions in the air.
"And now, to aim for the eye of the storm!" Yomi stretched out his hand, aiming in the middle of the hurricane."Atomic Blast!"
The sound of a deafening thunderclap echoed through the district. And the tornado began to dissipate."Is she dead? But I haven't had my fun yet-"
"You're about to get it."
Yomi's eyes shot wide open when he felt a pair of small hands grabbing his feet, pulling him down as Amy flew around town, smashing him into various buildings. He elbowed her in the face, prompting her to release him, but she conjured a small tornado that engulfed his body, guiding it with her hand as she continued to slam him around. The people below ran for their lives, but some of them were crushed to death due to the falling rubble. It was utter chaos.
'Just a little more...' Amy managed a smile.'Just a little more I can go back home with my Mother...I can go back to having a normal life again! I just need to kill this bastard! And...most importantly, keeping him away from that direction...'
But along with the screams, the sounder of laughter was evident.

Amy gritted her teeth in disgust upon hearing his laugh. She fired multiple wind slashes in his direction, but the laugh continued.
"YOU'RE SO PERFECT!" Yomi screamed in delight."LET'S KEEP GOING, AMY-CHAN! GOD, I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!"

Out of nowhere, Yomi blasted himself out of the tornado, heading straight for Amy, and in her moment of confusion, he slammed his lightning fist against her chest, blasting her to the ground.
'T-that sound again!" Amy quickly sat up, noticing Yomi was rushing in her direction. She lashed out a sharp current of wind, but the slashes bounced off his lightning armor and he kicked her in the chin, launching her into the sky. Shaking the confusion off, she conjured a jetstream of water and sent several slashes of wind in his direction. Like before, the water didn't even touch him and the slashes bounced off of him.
Amy landed back on the ground, her eyes completely wide.
But she wasn't allowed time to speak, since her body was suddenly being constrained by lightning cables.
'So, it has no effect on her, and my sure-hit attack missed...Peculiar...' Yomi pondered, pulling hard on the lightning cables connected to his fingers and launching her across town, landing in the middle of a fair.
She groaned, sitting up from her position, and watching as the civilians ran like headless chickens. Yomi landed on top of the Ferris wheel, where people could only watch helplessly as the destruction chased after them.

"It's magic." He corrected her."Or do you think lightning counts as an Alchemic element?"
"But your ability is not just that...before, you told me that I was half-correct in my assessment." Amy pursed her lips."Your ability...your most terrifying ability is not lightning itself...it's adaptation. The ability to adapt to any phenomena...isn't it?"
"Bingo! Kudos to you, Amy-chan. I knew you were smart." Yomi clapped in a jolly manner."You figured it out faster than I was expecting."
'One of the many perks of being a reincarnation.' He thought to himself, deciding to not reveal it to the girl since she wouldn't understand.
"It took me a bit, but when I noticed that the attacks that were hurting you now have no effect, it gave me a pretty big idea." She narrowed her eyes in disdain."Is that how you killed Reina-chan?"
"That's right. But she was easier for two things. One, her whole thing was all about those tendrils of hers. She was an incapable fighter. And the second thing...she lacked the "hunger"."
"Hunger?"
"That's right. The "hunger" to take on your desires. Ultimately, that's what humans are all about. Our true nature is to do the things we want to do when we want to. We listen to our hunger. She wanted to make me her personal pet. But unfortunately, she gave up as soon as she started losing. She didn't have the drive."
"You bastard...You killed a fucking kid! Do you even realize what you did?!"
"Funny. I didn't expect that from someone like you, who socializes with people who've killed countless others." Yomi mused."Why do I get this treatment?"
"You killed my friend! Is this all just a big game to you?!"
"A game? Ah, I apologize. Perhaps I gave you the wrong impression." Yomi adopted a sinister smile."I want to fight the strongest opponents. A battle is only a battle if it's to the death. My goal is to fight the strongest around and have fun. That's why...I've found you most captivating, Amy-chan. You're by far the most entertaining rival I've ever had. I could never get bored with you. You're like the gift that never stops giving. You're so damn perfect, it's making my heart beat so fast!"
"W-what are you talking about?!" She yelled. There was a pause as the rain started to fall, quickly damping the environment. The sound of distant thunder echoed through the area, accompanied by the screams of horror from the civilians trying to escape.
"I'm saying I love you." Yomi grinned."I'd find it most tragic if you were to die. So, how about you become my woman? I can show you a world which you've never seen before. You can be so much more than just a terrorist. I can make you happy. That's what you want, isn't it? You want something. Everyone human does. I can help you."
'W-w-w-what's with this guy, suddenly confessing like that?!' Amy visibly flinched at his words. She remembered Reina and her friends, and got her mind back on track."I pass."
"Huh?"
"I said I pass. You killed my friend and you expect me to accept this offer? Besides, what you feel is not love. You just want me to be your personal slut." Amy spat on the ground."And I'm not about to do that. So you can take your offer and stick it up your arse!"
"So that's your answer, huh?" Yomi sighed.
"Besides, you're acting like you won."
"You're right. Maybe you are the person...who can finally kill me."
"Kill you?" Amy was caught off guard by that."What? You want to die?"
"I don't want to die, per se." Yomi waved his hand."As I said, a good battle is one to the death. And nothing is greater than dying in combat. Do you think people live just so they can have friends, a good spouse, and children? A happy and boring life? Of course not. Humans only seek one thing. And that's dying in their terms. That they died knowing they did what they wanted to do. And if I were to die in combat, I'd gladly welcome it. Because if I keep winning, I will reach my ultimate fear...and that is being the strongest."
"You don't want to be the strongest? So you just want to fight, and if you die, that's it?"
"That's right." Yomi splayed his hands."If you're the strongest, it means there are no more challenges for you to fight. That's the ultimate game over. And that's what I fear the most. That one day I may not have any more opponents to fight. I told this to your friend, but I don't fight for strength. I fight for the thrill of it. For the desire to fight and entertain myself. If I'm the pinnacle, then everything will be over for me."
"I...really don't understand anything you're saying!" Amy snapped."You're insane! You're not making any sense!"
"Ah, you don't get it. That's fine. Your hunger is different from mine. And I think...I know what your hunger is." Yomi kicked the ground, spreading electricity around him, and thanks to the rainwater, he managed to cover a wider area. Amy was stunned by this attack, which allowed Yomi the chance to dash in front of her and rip her vest and shirt open, revealing her bare chest.
'As expected...' Yomi smiled, feeling her punch him in the face and knocking him back.
"Kyaaa!" She quickly covered herself with her arms.
"Why do you wear a bra?" He asked, twirling the stolen bra in his hand."Now I understand why my attacks weren't working on you, and why my sure-hit attack wasn't landing. It felt weird when I punched you earlier. It didn't feel like flesh. It felt...weird. When my runes are activated, electricity is constantly flowing through my body. So when I strike a person, they feel as if they were being electrocuted by a taser. Moreover, I build up charges, which then I can use to unleash my Atomic Blast. But now I understand due to seeing your body closer. You're...not a human, are you? If I had to guess, I'd say you're a walking doll. A doll that wants to be a human...is that your desire?"
"Wrong! You're wrong!" Amy screamed, denying his words."I'm a human! A human trapped in a body that is not mine! But I'm so close to getting my body back and going back with my Mother! All I have to do is kill you here and now so you won't become a problem for my friends later and avenge my friend!"
"I see. So a broken soul that lost her way, huh? That's some Five Nights at Freddy's shit right there, ahahaha!" Yomi guffawed, much to her irritation."And what? Is Bragard supposed to be your William Afton?"
"THIS ISN'T A FUCKING GAME!" She bellowed, surprising him by her tone."He ruined my whole life! Because I wasn't saved that day! That girl has the life I wanted! Everything! And I'm so close to retaking my life back! So for that, I will kill you right here and now!"
She stretched her arm out, her cheeks blushing.
Yomi arched a brow, lifting the bra in his hands. She nodded meekly, causing him to chuckle."You're such a little girl, you know that? How old are you? Like 16? 17?"
"15."
He threw her bra over to her, crossing his arms as she put it back on."No shit? I just turned 18."
"Yeah, which makes your invitation earlier that much weirder, you fucking creep."
"Oh? Now that's too bad." Yomi sighed."So then...I guess we have no choice but to keep having fun until the very end, do we?"

"The only fun you'll have is when I send you to hell!" Amy bellowed, burying her claws on the ground and lifting the pavement, and throwing Yomi off balance as he was flipped upside down. The girl formed a fist of earth, sending it against the giant piece of rubble and knocking Yomi into the air. She then focused on Lulu's powers, growing in size by several times until she had the size of a kaiju. She walked over to the Ferris wheel, looking at the people trapped inside with a dejected expression.
'I want to go back home, sleep in a comfortable bed, wake up every morning to go to school and meet new people and learn a lot. I want to become a fashion designer in the future...I want to keep eating my Mother's blueberry pies. I want to take long naps and eat a lot. I want to go out with my friends and taste food again. So forgive me...' Amy grabbed onto the Ferris wheel, lifting it off its base.'But you must die for me to get my life back. And I will kill as many people as I need to go back home!'
With a mighty roar, Amy hurled the Ferris wheel at Yomi, who couldn't react in time and only managed to get his hands in front as he was thrown across the city.
"Oh, no!" Amy returned to her regular size, manifesting Micha's pigtails and blasting herself after him."I got too emotional and forgot the hospital is that way! I can't let him anywhere near it!"
Yomi ignited the Ferris wheel in lightning, trying to slow down its momentum to no avail. So he opted to throw himself out of the way, watching as the now lightning-infused Ferris wheel bounced around the city through various buildings.
"Hahahaha! Yes! The whole city is our battlefield" Yomi cackled, watching Amy in the distance."Despia, are you still here?!"
"Right here, brother!" Despia descended from the skies, flapping a pair of black skeletal wings. Her voice was distorted but clear enough for Yomi to understand."Did you need me for something?"
"Huh...you're speaking in full sentences?" Yomi checked her appearance out."Must be the Divine Power."
"That's right. It lets me talk but only when using it." She nodded."Did you need me?"
"Yes. I want you to go around the city and place down giant crystals. Try to make a star and separate them by 10 kilometers. Make sure to avoid the area where the Chateau is. Can you do it in...20 minutes?"
"Y-yes. I am much faster with this power, so I can do it. What do you have in mind?"
Yomi looked up at the sky, grinning upon seeing the thunder clouds approaching."I have the best way to end this fight. Now get to it."
With a nod, Despia flew away to do her task. Yomi noticed Amy was getting closer by the second, so he reached for his hat and took out a taser."I hate using this hat to fight. But since I can't build up charges the conventional way...I have to use this."
Without delay, he tased himself, his body covered in electricity as his muscles spasm. He threw the taser on the ground, charging up his hands before unleashing a volley of thunderbolts."Guiding Thunder!"
Countless thunderbolts illuminated the city, crashing through buildings as they were headed for Amy. She boosted her speed using her wind, maneuvering around the countless attacks before coming face to face with Yomi. He grinned, readying himself for a punch, but he wasn't expecting her to pull out two pump-action shotguns and fired at him point-blank. He crashed into a building, landing on a floor with people who were out of their rooms, discussing what was happening around the city. They all screamed when Yomi and Amy broke into their floor.
Amy connected her shotguns by their butt pads with chains and began swinging them like nunchucks, swinging them while shooting bullets at every opportunity she could, forcing him to block with his baton. Their back and forth continued until she tangled her shotguns with his baton, pulling them out of his way before switching for Leiur's batons and forcing him to parry with his lightning gauntlets. He spun around, bending his knees and sweeping Amy off her feet with a kick. He did a backflip, making two finger guns and shooting several thunder bullets in her face.
"Thunder Guns!"
He began blasting her away, sending her crashing into the end of the hallway. He ran in the opposite direction, punching everyone in his way to build up his charges before he jumped through the window, aiming his left hand."Collective Charge!"
The lighting strike pierced through several people's heads, increasing its potency as it headed for Amy. She grabbed it with one hand, but the attack was powerful enough to push her out of the building. She cast a tornado under her legs, flying to the side as Yomi's feet released electricity currents, keeping him in the air. They both continued blasting each other through buildings, decimating the city in the wake. Amy flew above one and surprised Yomi from above, slamming him through the ground and landing inside a train.
"W-where did this boy come from?! One of the passengers asked.
He sat up, rubbing his head and ignoring the stares from the passengers."Oh, yeah. I need something from someone!"
Amy landed in front of the train, creating a ramp of earth and causing the train to derail, breaking to the ground and into the sky.'I have to be careful with my earth and fire attacks. If he adapts to those, I'll have nothing else to kill him!'
She charged up Micha's power, firing a large fire rod toward the train, piercing through it before it exploded.'That's right...The world turned us into monsters...This is only normal if we want to-'
Suddenly, Yomi was in front of her with a maniacal smile on his face.
"S-shit-"
He grabbed her by the back of her head and brought her in for a kiss. Her eyes shot wide open, her brain short-circuiting and her legs feeling like jello.

'M-my first kiss...!' She lamented, feeling his tongue inside her mouth, grabbing her wrist to keep her in place. She was too much in despair to do anything and couldn't push him off of her. That is until she felt something in her tongue which she accidentally swallowed. Finally regaining her strength, she headbutted him away.
"W-w-w-what did you make me swallow...?" Amy covered her mouth.
"You'll find out soon enough." He winked in her direction."So, did you like it?"
"Fuck you!" She snapped angrily."You stole my first kiss, you bastard! A first kiss is supposed to be special! I...I don't want it to be a bastard like you!"
"Relax, princess." Yomi chuckled at her reaction."You're such a pure maiden, it's adorable. Listen, as long as it's not your real body it's fine, right? Technically you haven't had your kiss yet."
"You don't get it! It's the thought that counts! My soul is tainted!" Amy barked back."Now what will I do when I get a real boyfriend?!"
"Oh? Do you still think..." The wheel appeared behind Yomi's back, turning once more. His electricity began to intensify as he was now sporting a lightning mask that covered his face up to his eyes, which now had electricity seeping out of them.
Battle Beast of Fallacies Level 2
"...that you'll live to see another day?"
In a blur, Amy grimaced when he slammed his fist on her gut, sending her flying away. He flew past her, readying his claws to attack her. She kicked the ground, recuperating her footing, and conjured two fire rods.
"Scream Pulse!" Yomi's mouth began to morph and took the shape of a mouth cannon, unleashing a sound wave at high frequency that knocked Amy away. He unleashed another one for good measure, knocking her through several buildings. He chased after her, moving faster than before. He kicked her back, launching her into the skies before appearing above her and slamming her against the ground, tearing apart the streets.
'H-how did he get this strong...?!' Amy sat up, her hair disheveled.
"Come on, Amy-chan. Surely you still have more in the tank, don't you?" Yomi beckoned her to come.
'I have no choice...I have to end this now...I still have something up my sleeve. That's right...' Her mind glanced down at her claw hands."If you want me to be at full power, then I'll go full power!"
"Oh! So here it is at last?" Yomi grinned from ear to ear, but due to his mask, she couldn't tell. She began powering up, a red aura covering her body as she screamed.
"Yes! Yes! Show me all you have, Amy-chan! Will you be the one to finally kill me?!"
"Then just you wait! I'll show you...what the power of a monster can do!" Amy's power flared up, her aura melting away the area around her due to the intense power emanating from her.
'I have to win! This is it...years of being trapped in a damn fucking robot...away from my Mother and my life...It all ends tonight! I can finally...finally put an end to my suffering!' The ribbons holding up her pigtails burnt, letting her hair cascade freely as her shirt disintegrated.'Just wait for me, Mother!'
"Oh, dear..." Isabella Regulus held her hand against her chest, watching the distant explosions through the window of the room her daughter was in. She shook her head, deciding to listen to the announcement to head to the bunkers below. She heard people in the hallway. Some of them were panicking, others were calm. The woman took a deep breath, reaching for the wheelchair the staff had given her to take Amy around the hospital whenever possible, and helped her daughter's unconscious body onto it.
"Don't be afraid, Amy." Her mother muttered words of comfort, hoping that they would reach her daughter."Everything is going to be fine. Don't be afraid."
She wheeled her out of the room and nearly bumped into an older man who was walking with a cane."I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking-"
"No need for apologies, miss. It was me who wasn't looking." He looked down at the comatose girl."Taking your daughter to the bunkers, I see."
"Yes, sir. She's...in a coma. And can't walk on her own. I have to escort her down to the bunkers..."
"Let me help you. I am also...or was, a father myself. My name is Jo Tanaka. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"I am Isabella Regulus. Isabella is fine. My baby girl here is Amy Regulus." Isabella introduced herself as they began to wall down the hallway."You...said you were a father...?"
"I was. His name was Goro Tanaka. He...died on duty, protecting his friends." Jo smiled fondly."So I understand what it's like to worry about your child. Don't worry, I'll make sure you and your daughter get to safety. I want parents to enjoy their children to the fullest."
"Tanaka-san..."
"Jo is fine." He winked."I understand foreign operate under different rules."

"That's it. Keep it coming, Amy-chan." Yomi stuffed his lightning claws in his pockets, waiting patiently as the girl continued to power up."Please! Show me more! More! I want to see more of you, Amy-chan! Show me your hunger!"
She got on all fours like a feral beast before she charged in a red blur against Yomi, elbowing him in the face and sending him flying away like a ragdoll. He blasted the ground with his feet, shooting toward the sky, a demented grin plastered on his face as Amy ignited her hair propulsors and clad her feet with ice, increasing her speed exponentially as she skated on the ground before she jumped in the air, hands in front of her."RAPID-FIRE!"
Countless fire rods were shot in his direction, creating an explosion of fire upon impact. She seized, waiting for him to make his move. When the smoke cleared, he was gone.'W-what?! But where did he-"
A kick to the back of her head answered her question as she was heading straight to the ground face first. But she used her claws to blast herself into the sky, flying around and appearing behind Yomi, kicking him in the back. She chased past him, receiving him with a punch across his face that made him spit out blood. He recuperated quickly thanks to his enhanced resilience and they both engaged in a brief exchange of punches before they pulled back.
Amy looked behind her, noticing they were closer to the hospital than before.'Fuck! I have to get him out of here!'
"Well, aren't you putting up a strong front?" Yomi clasped his hands."You're so damn perfect! God! I'm rock hard! Show me more! Struggle more! Do your best to satiate your hunger and kill me!"
"I will kill you. And go back to my friends and help them become human again. We have to purge all the real monsters in this world so no more people will suffer what we did!'
'Kanade-san...your songs inspire me, even to this day. I'll push toward the future just like you taught your fans!'
She rushed toward Yomi, who blocked her attack, slamming his fist into her face and slightly caving it in. Her hair flared up as if it had a mind of its own, grabbing his ankle and throwing him against several buildings. He leaped into the air, heading high into the sky. She drew a magic circle in on the ground, conjuring huge fire rods that began shooting toward the sky, aiming for Yomi.
His feed blasted electric waves, pushing himself out of the rods as they headed toward the clouds as he clapped his hands together. "Rumbling Pantera!"
A lightning panther was spewed from his head, heading for the ground. The panther bounced from rod to rod until it reached Amy, biting her torso and launching her away. To her horror, she was getting closer to the hospital. Fueled by her anger she screamed, her aura dispersing the panther before blasting herself toward the sky, Yomi following her. Both of them headed toward each other at full speed, locking hands with each other as they attempted to push the other, their auras destroying their surroundings as their struggle continued. Yomi leaned back and headbutted her, stunning her before releasing a sound wave that shot her back
She snarled, blasting herself back and headbutting Yomi before unleashing a rapid barrage of punches, not allowing him even a second to react. Punch and kicks rained down on the magician, each attack delivered with every being on her soul.'Time to finish it!'
She combined two fire rods, creating a stronger one and shooting him in the chest, launching him through a building and rolling down on the street, crashing against a car.

Yomi groaned in pain, holding his chest. His eyes slowly opened, noticing the red glow in the sky as it landed on top of a light post. Amy glared down at him, arms folded with apparent superiority.
"Heheheh..." Yomi's chuckle turned into laughter, slowly getting back on his feet."Impressive. I must admit you have exceeded, Amy-chan. At least, in the area of firepower."
Amy swallowed the lump in her throat, her fists clenching.
"And yet...you have absolutely ZERO chance..of EVER defeating me." He smirked, his voice full of confidence."Not a chance in hell."
Amy swallowed the lump in her throat, jumping off the light post and landing on the street."Listen to yourself! What kind of logic is that?! If you haven't noticed, I literally have you against the wall!"
"Oh, don't think I don't appreciate the effort. But you see...I've also figured you out." Yomi looked at the hospital a few blocks away from them."You...are avoiding going there, aren't you?"
"W-what...?"
"You've been trying your hardest to keep me away from this side of the district since we started fighting. And whenever I got too close, you'd push me back. He pointed at her and she swore she could see the smile under his lightning mask."Your real body...is there, isn't?"
"H-how...how do you...?"
"I was making a hypothesis. At first, I thought that you were protecting a friend. That one of your friends was around this part of the district. But if so, they would have come to help you by now. They are all in the Chateau. Except for the one I killed and the demon guy that Bragi Third Dienheim took out of the city. Which means you're alone. So...what could you be protecting you?"
"W-what if I was trying to protect the civilians?"
"Oh, please. Don't give me that bullshit. You didn't have any qualms about killing any people around us. Or when you threw that Ferris wheel to me. You don't give a shit about the people except your own. Face it. You enjoy killing. That's your true nature."
"N-no! I'm not a murderer!"
"You guys kill with the excuse of wanting to get back at the world for what happened to you. But the reality is...you are all a band of sadists. You could at least admit it. You, like all the rest, are just a murderer who excuses herself with the idea of getting back at the world. You were crying about being separated from your mother and your life being ruined, and yet you did the exact same thing to countless others."
Amy's hands began to shake, her lip quivering."I-I..."
"Not like I'm one to judge. I kill others. But I don't go around pretending it's for some noble justice. No. The people I kill are too weak to defend themselves against me. That's all there is to it."
"S-stop talking like you won!" Amy's aura flared back up."So what if you know where my body is?! I'll just have to kill you and-"
"No. This is as high as you go. I figured you out already. Your fire..." A wheel appeared behind him, turning around.

"It's been fun. I haven't had this much fun in like...forever. Ever. It's a shame you rejected my offer." Yomi lamented, staring at the thunderstorm in the sky."But seeing as how you're the best opponent I've had, I'll send you off with a grand finale. You see the sky?"
Amy looked up toward the sky, noticing the thunderclouds were now covering the whole city.
"It was a regular thunderstorm. But when you were firing those fire rods at me, I goated you into shooting me in the sky."
"But...why would you...?"
"I wanted to increase the ambient temperature of the atmosphere to rise rapidly and create an ascending air current. Normally, this would create a thundercloud. But since there were thunderclouds already, all it did was increase the energy levels to new degrees. All thanks to you."
The sky was now covered in endless thunders, shaking the ground itself.
"Though you have fought alone, you will not die alone. I will make sure you get the best death possible. So don't worry about that."
"Y-you haven't won yet!" Amy shot herself toward him, but he punched her faster than she could see and slammed her into several buildings. She sat up, watching him dash in her direction, cackling like a madman.
She began to shoot countless fire rods and wind slashes while also creating two jetstreams of water on her sides, hitting him dead on. The Autoscorer continued screaming, desperate to kill him.
"I'M GOING HOME! NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, I'LL-"
Yomi appeared from inside the attacks, punching her across the face. He then grabbed her face and slammed her on the ground before dragging her across the street, her artificial flesh burning in some areas due to the friction. He threw her to the sky, moving like lightning past her and aiming his fingers at her.
"Thunder Guns!"
With no remorse, he started shooting her nonstop, her body rocking around due to the impact of the thunder bullets as she was sent crashing to the ground.
He aimed his fingers at her, yelling."Try to dodge this, Amy-chan!"
'He's going to use his Atomic Blast!' Amy quickly punched the ground, lifting a cloud of dust and hiding inside of it.'He can't hit me if I'm hiding. Just like before. I'll definitely-'
A hole was blown through her stomach, causing her to fall on her rear due to the shockwave of the attack.'W-what...?'

"Smart. Not bad. You figured out how my attacks work. They are sure-hit because once I make contact with my opponent, I can just simply aim my negative charge to your positive charge. This pretty much moves my hand toward my target, as if they were a magnet. That's what makes it a sure-hit attack. Well, aside from the fact that it's as fast as lightning."
"But...this body...doesn't..."
"Remember when we kissed?" He tilted his head, sticking his tongue out from under his lightning mask."I made you swallow a magnet. The perfect target to aim inside of your belly. Just to break your body and slow you down. This fight...is over. Don't worry. I'll make this a spectacle."
"No...no! It's not over yet!" Amy, in an act of desperation, covered her whole body with earth as she grew larger, rushing toward Yomi.
"I'll end your life with my strongest attack. And the most unconventional one, which I can only use during strong thunderstorms and use the immense energy in the atmosphere." He aimed a hand toward the sky, and another toward the incoming giant of stone."By serving as an antenna, I can manipulate the lightning in the sky to my will. Now! Ladies and gentlemen! May I have your attention please?!"
"I will live! I refuse to die in this hell!" Amy bellowed, picking up speed.
"I've prepared a special execution for Amy Regulus!" Yomi began levitating into the sky."So let us give her the spotlight!"
"For my friends! For my family!" She winded her giant fist back, focusing all of her strength in that one attack."To get my life back! To be happy!"
"Now, let's give it everything we've got...IT'S EXECUTION TIME!"
"I WILL NOT DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
"Heaven's Cry..."
A lightning strike shot down from the sky, striking his right hand serving as an antenna, and immediately fired it at Amy, who was mere inches away from him. The attack decimated her giant form, destroying the whole street as her body crashed inside the hospital.
Amy's body was now in tatters, missing an arm and her face half destroyed, exposing the exoskeleton of the doll's body."Mother...mother...!"
The doll sprung into action, limping up the stairs of the lobby. Yomi proceeded to fire more thunderstrikes at the hospital and everywhere around him. He annihilated entire buildings, hearing the sounds of people screaming as they died. Either crushed to death or fried alive.
"Now, as a final gift, I'll send this entire district down to hell along with you, Amy-chan. My last gift to you. That and that I want to make a bigger hole than the one where the Chateau is."
He focused all the lightning in the skies, creating a giant dragon that flew around the city.
Isabella was now carrying Amy's body in her arms, running down the stairs with Jo Tanaka. The whole place was coming apart, and they feared not even the bunkers could save them.
"This...is this the end...?" Isabelle stopped in her tracks, hugging her daughter tightly."We're not getting any of this...are we...?"
"Isabella-chan..." Jo was debating whether to try to cheer her up or tell her the cold truth. Something big was coming. He sensed it.
"It's fine...At least I got to see her again." Isabella smiled, kissing Amy's cheeks tenderly."I had given up on seeing my daughter ever again...all those years ago...I thought I'd never see her again. But...seeing her again made me so happy...So very happy to have my baby back in my arms..."
Jo smiled, placing a hand on her shoulder."At least...you will be together until the very end. And I'll be right here with you too. I couldn't be with my son, so the least I can do is...accompany someone else. You gave her a good life. Never regret that."
"Jo-san...thank you...I-"
"Mother!"
Amy kicked the door leading to the staircase of the 8th floor, coming face to face with her mother.
"Who...?" Jo Tanaka's eyes widened upon seeing her condition, and was more amazed to not see any blood on her. She looked more artificial than anything else, like a doll.
"Mother...it's me...it's me...Amy..." Amy's eyes began to water as she slowly approached her mother, who was bewildered at what was going on."It's me...you were waiting for me, weren't you? I'm sorry...I wanted to go back home with you...I wanted to be happy again...I'm sorry I made you so sad all of these years...I'm sorry..."
"Amy...?" Isabella glanced down at the girl in her arms then back to Amy.
"London Bridge...is falling down...Falling down..." Amy used the wall to support herself, unable to keep herself upright."London Bridge...is falling down...my fair-"
"Fair lady..." Isabella engulfed her in a warm hug, still holding her real body in her arms."My baby...my baby..."
"Momma...Momma..." Amy started to sob as her Mother gently rubbed the back of her head."I'm sorry...I'm sorry..."
"It's okay...It's okay, Amy...my beautiful baby...I love you. We will always be together..." She kissed her on her forehead with all her love."It's okay...I'm here with you."
'Hibiki Tachibana...it seems...I was never meant to have the life you have.' Amy closed her eyes, choosing to focus on her mother and accepting her face.
Jo closed his eyes with a smile, glad that somehow mother and child were reunited again.'I'll be with you soon...Goro...'

"Starving Lightning Storm." Yomi brought down his hand, releasing the lightning dragon down on the hospital and immediately disintegrating it on impact. All the surroundings of the hospital started to be obliterated by the attack as the lightning coursed around. At Yomi's request, Despia had placed crystals around the city forming a star. The lightning reached the first crystal and immediately connected with the other crystals. Despia's crystals were conductors for Yomi's lightning, allowing them to not only negate the lightning but also spread his lightning to other crystals around the area. All the lightning in the clouds was unleashed, turning the night into daytime due to the burst of energy that created a huge explosion that made the heavens themselves tremble.
'I guess you weren't the one meant to kill me after all, eh, Amy-chan?' Yomi looked down at the huge hole that once was half a district. Hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of people who once inhabited the place were burnt to a crisp by his attack. Adults, children, and elderly. No one was spared from his attack, The rows of houses and buildings were nowhere to be seen, instead, there was now a giant hole. From the giant hole, he could see what was once part of Amy's Autoscorer face, the only thing that remained from her body.
'To be specific, my lightning is what adapts to whatever it is I'm facing. Not my own body. Which is how I was able to be able to go through most of your attacks...'
"You were amazing, Amy Regulus. Truly magnificent. I will remember you for as long as I live." He vowed before he smiled maniacally."Man, those were some amazing fireworks! Hahaha! Hey, Despia, wake up!"
Despia stirred awake, having been saved by Yomi before the blast caught her. They were now standing on a lonely building that was spared thanks to Yomi, having a great view of the wasteland that was once the city. Despia's eyes widened slowly when she realized what she was looking at.
"Look at what we did together! We killed a whole district! All thanks to you!" He grabbed her cheeks, staring at her shocked expression."Nice going, Despia! I knew I could count on you! And look at that! You lost your killing virginity! You should be happy! Now killing more people is going to be easier so don't worry. Anyway, let's get going. I'm hungry as hell. And also..." Yomi stared off at the Chateau in the distance, taking note of a purple light."I have a feeling we ran out of time."
'Hajime...you're up next.' Yomi allowed himself a wide grin of utter excitement.'I'm finally able to face you in battle!'
Suddenly, he felt his phone vibrate inside of his pocket and took it out."No way! I missed it! Fuck! I missed Pomu Rainpuff's last stream! God damn it! I completely forgot and got too distracted!"
Despia observed her brother throwing his tantrum, completely baffled at the reason he was freaking out. She knew he was a big VTuber fan. That was never a secret. The amount of merchandise he "secretly" bought gave it away. But...was he really upset over that? What about the people he just killed? He just ended thousands of people's lives in an instant with no regrets. Did he...not care about that at all? All...of these...people died...at their hands...
"Shit...What a shitty day. Whatever. At least I got what I wanted. See you back at the base, Despia. And don't come into my room. I want to be alone. Today...marks a sad day for Vtuber fans.." Without further ado, he took out a vial and broke it, teleporting away and leaving Despia as she began to hyperventilate before throwing up on the ground.
'We killed...I helped kill...all of these people...? Me...?' He shook like a leaf, sobbing silently.'I'm so sorry...I swear...I swear we will revive you in the new world...I'm so sorry...I'm so very sorry...'

Sorry, this chapter took so long to write. I went a little crazy with the fight but I was having so much fun. So we got 2 Noble Red members dead. Next chapter, we're going back to Raiden and Psykos and also Bragi and Angelo. Don't worry, we'll get to Jades and Terunosuke soon. That's the dessert of this batch of fights.
