Age 763, planet Earth, a wasteland near West city.
Brinjala's space ship had just left the planet, meanwhile the warriors had to deal with the afthermath of the battle and with the cracks present in their group.
"Gohan we must go now" Piccolo said walking towards his pupil, but Chi Chi put herself between the two.
"My son isn't going anywhere with you" she said.
"You are done torturing him" she added. Piccolo was deep down impressed by her resolve but he didn't want her to be in his way.
"Mh you are delusional if you think you can tell me what to do" he asnwered with a smirk.
"This is not the time for this" Yamcha said trying to intervine.
"I knew it, you are on his side" Chi Chi answered as she took a fighting stance.
"On his side? You know we need him if we all want to survive" Yamcha yelled.
"Mom mr. Piccolo is just training me, it's okay" Gohan said wanting to reassure her mother.
"No Gohan it's not okay, he took you away from me for all of this time" she answered.
It looked like the situation was about to get ugly when all of a sudden a voice was heard.
"I knew you guys could do it".
"Goku" they all said shocked.
"I'm amazed how you all grew so strong" Goku said.
"And you also did the right thing by sparing that saiyan's life" Yamcha smiled as he heard what his friend said.
"Beacuse I want to fight her sometime in the future" Goku added. Chi Chi and Yamcha started laughing while Piccolo facepalmed.
"You never change Goku" Chi Chi said with a smile.
"And you changed a lot Chi Chi" Goku asnswered.
"and I'm very proud of you Gohan, I told you that in no time you will grow stronger than me" Goku added.
While they were talking someone else arrived flying at their location, it was Kami.
"Mr. Popo told me what happened while I was unconscious, you all did a good job" the guardian of Earth said with a smile, he then turned around to his evil half.
"I also heard about your disagreement, can we make a compromise about Gohan?" kami asked, Piccolo paused he was annoyed that they just couldn't let him train the boy in peace, but he knew he needed the earthlings if he wanted to defeat the queen and then rule the universe.
"What do you propose?" Piccolo asked his good half.
"It's simple, you bring the boy to train on the lookout sometimes so he can see his mother again" Kami calmly explained.
"Mh fine, I wanted to train him in the room of spirit and time anyway" he asnwered with a smirk.
"Very well, you all take some days to rest then we will resume our training" Kami said and with that the warriors all split into different directions, but Chi Chi left only after hugging her son one more time. Then Piccolo and Gohan flew away and Chi Chi was the only one to remain at the site of the battle, by then the day was over and the night came, Chi Chi simply sit on the grass and stared at the stars then she thought about her husband in the sky that she missed every minute. The daughter of the ox king then prayed that once Goku was back everything would go back to normal but she had a feeling that things would never be the same.
Age 763, Planet Yavin, rebel HQ.
The saiyan campaing on the planet had intesified in the last months after Vegeta took charge of the operations against the rebels. After six months the saiyan army was finally able to locate the rebel base and a fight ensued.
"This is the fate of anyone who dare to oppose us" the proud saiyan Vegeta exclaimed as he fired a beam against and army of rebels, he then flew towards the battlefield and started to massacre every rebel he could find.
"My lord" a tall saiyan said as he bowed his head to the short saiyan.
"We are winning the battle but we found some resistance on the other side of the ba-" but as he was talking he was interrupted by a purple blade made of ki that cut him in half killing him instantly. Vegeta immediately jumped back and took a fighting stance.
"Sauzer, so you are still alive" Vegeta said with a grin.
"Of course I'm still alive, it doesn't matter how many filthy monkeys you send to kill me I will always win" Sauzer replied and then he attacked the ex prince who knew he could only dodge the attack.
"Dammit, he is still far stronger than me" Vegeta thought as he started to fly away trying to lose his opponent.
"I request immediate support from all the saiyans, prepare a fake moon and transform" Vegeta said talking to his scouter.
"You won't get away scum" Sauzer yelled as he started to fire blasts in the direction of his fleeing enemy, but other saiyans tried to block the attacks but they were instantly killed. All the available saiyans then came to aid Vegeta as they started to sorround the ex elite soldier.
"You are a coward Vegeta, just like the time you killed monsier Cooler and emperor Cold, you had to send the legendary super saiyan otherwise they would have exterminated your pathetic race" Sauzer yelled with rage.
"I don't care about the opinion of a dead man" Vegeta said as he raised his head to the sky and started to transform all the other saiyans followed suit, Sauzer seeing this started to kill as many saiyans as he could but it wasn't enough the ones that were able to transform were now attacking him, while some of them couldn't control themselves and started to destroy everything around them.
In the confusion Sauzer flew into the sky but he was punched and was sent fliying against a mountain by Vegeta, then he and the others ozaroos all blasted that in that direction. Sauzer survived the beams and flew out of the rubble with his armor destroyed over the years he grown attached to it, he wore it with proud after the death of his lord.
"Monsieur Cooler" Sauzer said as he gripped his hand.
"I will avenge you" as he yelled he turned on his purple blade then he flew towards the giant monkeys. He tried to cut the tail of one ozaroo but he was punched by another one, this time he was able to block the attack then with his blade he cut the hand off, the transformed saiyan began to scream. Sauzer tried to finish off the saiyan but he was stopped by a giant mouth beam from Vegeta, the ex servant of Cooler tried to tank the attack but it still hurt him.
"I feel like my whole body is on fire... I can't win like this" Sauzer thought he then turned his head to the rampanging saiyans and he made a plan. The ex elite soldier flew towards the giant monkeys and started to fire some light ki attacks, this made them turn towards him then they started to fire their attacks wich he was able to dodge and instead they went against the other ozaroos. In response the other saiyans fired attacks of their own trying to protect themselves.
"You are all but dumb animals" Sauzer said with a smirk, while he was in the air he saw the mindless ozaroos attack their saiyans brothers and a brawl ensued.
"You morons" Vegeta yelled.
"This has turned into a disaster" Vegeta said as he saw his comrades fought and killed each other.
Sauzer was enjoying the show when he was hit by another punch, the attack sent him flying away but he was able to stop mid air.
"I'm more than enough to kill you" Vegeta proclaimed as he prepared a giant galick gun, Sauzer charged an attack of his own and their beams clashed in the sky, a purple light lighted up the battlefield. Their attacks seemed even at first but then Sauzer started to cough until blood came out of his mouth.
"Dammit it must be from all those attacks I suffered" Sauzer thought but in that moment of distraction his beam had weakened and he lost the struggle against Vegeta. Sauzer was enveloped by the beam until he fell down on the ground near the rubbles of the rebel base.
Sauzer was uncoscious for some moments, when he woke up he was being placed in a space pod by one of the surviving rebels.
"Sauzer you must survive, you are the hope of the rebellion" is what the ex elite heard before collapsing once again. Meanwhile Vegeta was occupied elsewhere so he didn't see the pod depart from the planet, in order to put an end to the fight between ozaroos he blew up the fake moon and eveyone turned back into their normal form.
"my lord... we won the battle" a female saiyan said after she returned from the destoyed rebel HQ.
"We won?" Vegeta screamed.
"I lost 90% of my forces and some mindless idiots that can't control themselves destoyed the rebel base alongside all of their intel and plans" he added angrily. The saiyan standing in front of the ex prince froze in fear, she wanted to tell him that it was all his fault but kept her mouth shut.
Later that evening Vegeta retured to the saiyan camp, he entered the his room and sat down on his bed.
"This campaign has been a complete waste of time and I have another one that attends me, but then I will return to the capital and finally challenge that fool of the queen for the throne" Vegeta thought with a grin.
Vegeta's thougths were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come on in" the short saiyan said and the door opened, a female saiyan then entered the room and bowed.
"Lord Vegeta, we have more news about Earth, Brinjala's squad tried to conquer the planet but were defeated" she added.
"Well now this is getting interesting" Vegeta said with a wider grin.
Age 763, the otherworld, king Kai's planet.
Months had passed since the second saiyan invasion of Earth was stopped by the earthlings, by now the three warriors had grown a lot stronger. This time the sparring match was between the two best friends: Goku and Crillin.
Their kis were both red as they clashed above the little planet, when they returned on the ground they were both smiling.
"Maybe we should take this fight to the next level Crillin" Goku asked with excitement. Crillin simply nodded then they both yelled: "Kaioken times 3", and the fight resumed. They were now twice as stong and twice as fast.
"Very good" king Kai said with a smile.
"Crillin you are finally adapting to the third level" he added proud of his students.
"king Kai I wanted to ask you something" Tien said to his master.
"Will you only teach us this techniqhe?" he asked. The other two warriors heard the question and stopped their fight curious about their master's answer.
"Well I was planning on also teaching you the genkidama, but I think the kaioken should be enough to repel the invaders. After all it's better if you concentrate and master one technique instead of not fully learning two" king Kai answered.
"In this last months of training I think you should all try to better your use of the kaioken, by now only Goku was able to truly master the third level". The students did as their master advised and resumed their training.
Age 763, planet Rygol 7, saiyan colony.
Rygol 7 was conquered by the saiyans when they were still under Frieza, the campaign was brutal but in the end the invaders narrolwy won. By now the planet was one of the most populated colonies of the saiyan empire.
It was the middle of the night when a saiyan woke up screaming from his sleep, he then got up on his feet and went to look at himself in the mirror, he noticed he was all sweaty.
"Was that a dream... or was it another vision?" the saiyan with a scar on the cheek thought, he then felt a pain and put a hand on his face he felt like his head was about to explode.
His vision blurred for an instant then he saw some images, at first he saw Hanasia fight a man that looked just like him but without the scar, the image then changed and saw Vegeta on the brink of death with someone saying: "It's better if I let him live with the shame of defeat", then finally he saw the image that woke him up before: it was that of a tall and muscular saiyan with blonde hair and a sadistic grin on his face.
"This is not a dream, it's a nightmare" Bardock thought.
"But it's the only way forward" he added before returning back to sleep.
