"man why is it so quiet?" Cheetor asked
"Because the kids are taking an exam, the Preds are probably doing something shady and we're just sitting on our afts" Rattrap complained
"So let's go see what they're up to" Cheetor said
"Seriously Spots?" Rattrap asked
"Yeah, it would give us something to do" Cheetor shrugged.
"Meh, why not" Rattrap sighed before they headed out to the ground bridge terminal.
Izuku exhaled as he sat in the waiting room, he had passed the first round of the licensing exam. He removed the magnetic targets that he was required to wear and frowned
'Why was she here, the league haven't been active since All For One's imprisonment' Izuku pondered
"You okay Deku?" Uraraka asked
"I am, you remember before you and Sero rescued me?" he asked
"Yeah" Uraraka said blushing as she remember he naked girl that they got rid of.
"Well that girl came back and her face melted, turns out it was Toga" Izuku told her
"What, but they've been silent ever since" Ochako said
"Kamino, yeah I was thinking the same thing, maybe because we've been focused on other things that they've been making moves that we haven't picked up on" Izuku frowned
"Yeah" Uraraka nodded before they watched the arena they were just using as a battleground for the first exams suddenly blew up, shocking everyone there. It was then announced by the host that the next part would be focusing on rescuing people from a disaster zone, this brought back memories of Kamino, and not just for Izuku, but thankfully it would be a chance for Izuku to shine in a different area. Suddenly the buzzer went.
"COME ON!" he shouted as he rushed to the field, everyone behind him were shocked at how Izuku was acting
"What's with him?" Kaminari asked
"I'm not sure" Yaoyorozu said
"I've seen him only this passionate before about one thing, heroes" Kirishima said, the spotted Izuku kneeling by a volunteer, who had a fake head injury. "YAOYOROZU I NEED BANDAGES, GAUZE AND A PEN LIGHT!" Izuku shouted
"You got it" the creation quirk user said as she passed the items to Izuku. Nodding his thanks he tested the light on his hand before he looked into the child's eyes
"Okay he's pupils are dilating" Izuku said as he put the light away then he held up a single finger. "Okay can you follow my finger?" he asked as he moved his finger, the kid's eyes following his finger "Okay no signs of concussion, just a bad cut" Izuku examined the kid as he placed some gauze over the wound and then wrapped the bandage around his head "Okay I'll need to get him to a safe spot"
"I have to ask, how do you know that kind of thing?" Iida asked
"My dad is a combat medic. He's deployed overseas battlegrounds everywhere. He's quirk is fire breathing which is which is used to cauterising wounds and sterilizing equipment alongside being a soldier" Izuku said
"Oh my" Yaoyorozu gasped
"Yeah, right now he is working for Terminus" Izuku said "Now I have to get him to a safe location" Izuku said as he ran off, trying not to jostle the kid so much
"Hisashi Midoirya, a former JSDF Captain, mostly for the combat medical unit, currently deployed alongside Terminus" Rhinox said
"Terminus, isn't that?" Optimus asked
"Yeah Sector 7's civilian sector. The one that don't work with the Transformers, though there are members of Sector 7 working for Terminus" Rhinox nodded
"Interesting, does Capt Midoriya know about the Transformers?" Optimus asked as he watched Izuku get the kid to a triage location through a drone
"Possibly, we can't get in contact, maybe we should ask Noah about him" Rhinox shrugged
"Still, I hate to say that we have a legacy member of the Great war on our side. Even if it's been 500 years for us, for them its possibly been a fifth of that" Rhinox told Optimus
"Very well, we'll wait for now, so how are they...Is that Rattrap?" Primal asked
"What is he doing there?" Rhinox asked surprised.
"Should we help them?" Cheetor asked as he hid in the shadows
"Nah, helping them right now is cheating" Rattrap said "Though I guess we could secure some of the areas where there are no victims" Rattrap said
"Since when do you know construction Ratface?" Cheetor asked
"I'm an explosive expert along with infiltration" Rattrap said before they heard scuttling
"Spider Drone?" Cheetor asked
"I hope it is, otherwise we got a pred" Rattrap said
"Transforming here will cause a panic" Cheetor said "Something Big Bot wants to avoid especially here" Cheetor told his teammate.
"So what should we do for now?" Rattrap asked
"Just watch" Cheetor said before they came face to face with Yaoyorozu
"Oh hello" she said
"Hey" the Maximals said
"What are you doing?" Yaoyorozu asked
"Yaomomo you good?" Jiro asked
"Yeah, no victims here" Yaoyorozu called back
"But I heard" Jiro repsonded
"Its Spots and Cheesball" Yaoyorozu called back
"Oh, they helping us?" Jiro asked
"NO, they're being neutral and just watching" she shouted
"Hang on, something's going to attack the medical station!" Cheetor shouted
"What" the girls said
"You kidding Spots?" Rattrap asked.
Izuku was worried as Gang Orca had attacked the Triage station and made the ground unstable, and his forces had been armed with glue guns, only one of the studnest taking the exam was on the ground holding her leg, pieces of glowing blue crystals were in her wound, Izuku ran over and looked at the wound, the crystals shimmering in the sunlight
"What are those?" he asked before grabbing some gauze and placing it over the wound.
"Midiorya, what's going on?" Todoorki asked
"I don't know, threes something in the wound I've never seen before' Izuku told his friend
"What kind of them?" he asked throwing balls of fire and ice at the enemies, only for a student from Shinketsu to redirect the attacks away from the enemy. Todoroki growled before he tried again, this time the wind from the Shinketsu student extinguished Todoroki's flames.
"YOU'RE IN THE WAY!" they both shouted before they were covered in cement
"TODOROKI!" Izuku shouted before he saw the Orca looking hero above him, growling Izuku got ready for a fight when he noticed the teach seemed to look at something, so Izuku turns and saw more of the glowing blue crystal
"What is that?" the pro hero asked shocked at what it was
'I'm not sure" Izuku said before using 15% of One for All to knock Gang Orca back and then got the injured student to the new triage station 'Something it up with that crystal.'
"OPTIMUS!" Rhinox shouted as he looked panicked
'What is it?" Optimsu asked as their leader raced in
"We got a reading, one I didn't think we were going to get here" Rhinox looked at their leader
"Meaning?" Optimus asked
"Energon!" Rhinox clarified for his friend and commander
"BUT HOW, we've scanned this planet long enough to know that there is no energon here" Optmius panicked
"I'm not sure, but there is a reading for it now' Rhinox told him
"Where" Optimus urged
"The exam grounds" Rhinox said "I'll inform Rattrap and Cheetor, and pray that there are no Predacons in the area, because with all those students and whoever else is there, it's a prime target for an attack" Rhinox said
"RATTRAP COME IN!" Optimus shouted.
"Geez, no need to shout, look we're out of the limelight ad just watching the fireworks" Rattrap said
"Switch gears Rattrap, Energon was discovered in your area!" Optimus said
"What?" Rattrap asked shocked and he looked to Cheetor. "But how we have never seen any"
"We don't know which is why I'm telling to stop stealthing and start discovering" Cheetor said
"understood" Rttrap ended the call and looked at his teammate "oh man Spots" Rattrap said
"What is it?" Cheetor nervously asked
"The boss monkey said that there is Energon here" Rattrap told him
"WHAT!" Cheetor said as he sniffed the air
"Can you actually smell the energon?" Rattrap asked
"No, but we should try and find it" Cheetor said
"But where?" Rattrap asked
"Hey Big bot where is the energon?" Cheetor asked over his radio
"200 meters in front of you guys" Optimus said making Rattrap and Cheetor look up
"That's the triage centre they've set up, come on let's get down there" Cheetor ran off, using the back area
"Hey wait!" Rattrap exclaimed following him "And what do you think we'll do when we get there?"
"I'm not sure" Cheetor said.
"It burns" the girl said as she winced
"How, we covered the area?" a student said, Izuku looked at the wounds,
"Maybe it's because of theta foreign substance" Izuku said as he shone the torch on it, frowning as the blood on the bandage was started to looking purple. "I'm going to check it" Izuku said as he started to unravel the bandage
"STOP!" Rattrap shouted as he transformed and looked at the wound "Shit" he said
"Rattrap?" Izuku asked as the other examinees were talking around at the sight of the Maximal, they knew since the Kamino ward attack, there were of course random sightings of them during their patrols and battles.
"Oh crap" Rattrap looked at Cheetor as he opened his arm compartment and removed a device. "Rhinox, I've located the energon; problem is its in the leg of a female student and judging from the colour of it, it's started to seep into the wound, I'm activating my visual link" Rattrap said
"ON it, let's have a loo- oh no" Rhinox frowned "Rattrap you have to careful extract it otherwise that student will lose her leg!" he said
"Understood, extracting it carefully" Rattrap said
"Whoa who is that?" Cheetor asked as he saw Gang Orca and his subordinates, the hero students saw him and got on their guard
"He's the enemy, we're supposed to be rescuing victims of a bad attack and his a villain who we have to defend them from, Protect Rattrap and the patient" Izuku said "We don't want you to get involve making a part of the exams fail"
"Understood" Cheetor said as he dashed over to Rattrap was Izuku headed for the pro hero. "How it going Rat face?"
"Slowlys, but this is a refined crystal so it's not as bad as it could be" Rattrap told them
"Wait you think it would be worse if it was raw energon?" Cheetor asked
"I do, but of the jagged nature of raw crystals the damage could be worse" Rattrap said before the two heard a buzz
"No" they realised as they looked up.
"oh ooh Waspinator has Energon, and two Maximal, Waspinator destroy Maximals, blow fleshie bot and take energon to Megatron, Waspinator TERRORIZE!" the wasp predacon said as he transformed and landed pulling out his stinger gun and firing at Rattrap and Cheetor,
"CHEETOR MAXIMAZE!" he shouted transforming "Get that girl to cover, in fact EVERYON GET THE INJURED PEOPLE TO COVER!" the cheetah maximal shouted making everyone pay attention. Todoroki had a fire lit in hsi hand
"TODOROKI!" Izuku shouted as he landed a kick on the bug's head "Deal with Gang Orca, the rest of us will handle the evacuations" Izuku said
"You got it" Todoroki said as he and the Shinketsu student ran off to fight Gang Orca, eventually trapping him in a fire tornado.
"COME AND GET IT BUG BREATH! Cheetor fired at Waspinator
"Keep it steady Bondie!" Rattrap shouted as he extracted more of the main crystal "GOT IT!" he shouted as he placed it away in his arm compartment before indicating for Izuku to take over while he pulled out his blaster and aimed at Waspinator, the two firing as Waspinator shot back.
"GIVE IT UP BUG BOY!" Rattrap shouted sniping his wings off
"Waspinator in trouble" he said
"Oh you have no idea" a voice said making Waspinator spooked, turning around a pair a great big green fist flew at his face, knocking him skyward.
"RHINOX!" the two maximals shouted as they saw their main scientist on the field
"Please tell me Big Bot sent you" Cheetor said
"He did, did you secure the energon?" Rhinox asked
"Sure did, and as you saw they sent big boy to try and get it" Cheetor said
"I see, how's the exam going?" he asked before the final siren sounded, makng it clear the exams were over
"Already, I was hoping to see some techniques of the humans" Rhinox frowned
"We'll get you the replay" Cheetor said before they all switched to beast mode.
"So Big guy, why do you think there would be energon here in the first place?" Rattrap asked
"I'm not sure" Rhinox said "Oh my" he said spotting Gang Orca, "you must be a mutant type quirk user, interesting, oh sorry I have a curiosity of quirks"
"It's okay" Gang Orca said "I'm curious about you too" Gang Orca said as he held out his hand, Rhinox smiled and lifted up his foot and shook it.
"I'm Rhinox" the Maximal said
"Gang Orca" he said.
"A pleasure" Rhinox said
"Well I must go and fill out my report about the exam, if you'll excuse me"
"Indeed" Rhinox nodded.
After some time the exam results were revealed and of course majority of Class 1-A had passed earning them their provisional licenses; the only two who didn't were Bakugo and Todoroki.
"Kaachan" Izuku said frowned
"Todoroki are you okay?" Yaoyorozu asked
"Yeah I am" Todoroki nodded, clenching his fist.
"Now now those of you who failed don't look so down, you'll be able to take remedial classes with the hops of finally be able to get you provisional licenses. Even though it is a small bump in the road failing her will mean nothing for you futures as Pro Heroes" the announcer told them
"I see, so I'm taking these classes" Todoroki muttered as he felt the hand of Yaoyorozu on his shoulder. A small smiled from him at this, what they didn't notice was that Izuku didn't miss this interaction and was happy for his duel element using friend. "Also" the announcer piped up "We're sorry about the attack by the Predacon, if it wasn't for the Maximals who know doubt were watching this event with interest then things could have been a lot worse, so we apologise for that. And with that the licensing exam for this year has come to an end" the announcer said.
Back at the dorm Class 1-A were already partying it up when they got back happy that most of them had passed, Izuku was going to join in with them after he had something to do, once he walked outside he saw his finance Kendo standing them looking at her phone
"Izuku" Kendo said smiling as he walked over and hugged her. "Hey Izuku, I take it you passed?" Kendo asked
"Sure did" Izuku said as he showed her his license smiling as Kendo did the same
"Congratulations" she smiled
"So who didn't pass in your class?" Izuku asked
"We all passed, you?" Izuka asked
"We had two failures: Bakugo and Todoroki" Izuku sighed
"I'm shocked about Todoroki, but I'm not exactly torn up about that explosive idiot" Kendo growled
"I know, but there's been something eating away at Kacchan, and I think I may know what it is" Izuku said
"What?" Kendo asked
"I'm not sure" Izuku said as his phone buzzed. "Speaking of" Izuku muttered
"What is it?" Itsuka asked
"He wants to meet me" Izuku said
"Where?" she asked
"Ground Gamma" Izuku said "The place we faced All-Might for our midterms" Izuku frowned
"I'm going with you" Kendo said.
"No, go back to you class since it won't be until later on" Izuku told her
"Okay, just...be careful" Kendo said "I don't want to be a widow before we're married"
"Well maybe we can get married soon?" Izuku said making her blush
"IZUKU!" Kendo said as he laughed
"LOVE YOU!" he said
"LOVE YOU TOO" Kendo replied as she went back to her class.
That night Izuku and Bakugo were standing in Ground Gamma glaring at each other
"Why?" Bakugo asked "WHY A QUIRKLESS LOSER LIKE YOU GET SO THAT MUCH POWER, BUT ME THE ONE WHO WAS DESTINED TO BE THE NUMBER ONE A LOSER!" Bakugo snarled
"Kaachan, I've had others in my corner, having them help me with this quirk of mine" Izuku told him
"You mean that borrowed quirk huh, yeah I remember when you told me about that and it has just gotten me more and more curious about it" Bakugo frowned "So FACE ME!"
"NO, I'm not going to fight you Kacchan, just because I've improved a lot while you feel like you haven't, we're students and all of us improve at our own pace, but that's not really bugging you, tell me Kacchan,...you feel guilty don't you?" Izuku asked shocking the blonde
"Yeah, you're right I feel guilty because I'm the one who forced All-Might to retire, I'm the one who cause Kamino" Bakugo said "If it wasn't for me, All-Might would still be here, he would still be the number one, I can't help but feel like I betrayed him!" Bakugo cried out "NOW FIGHT ME!" he snarled
"Fine them" Izuku started to power up before a large roar sounded, making the two look around
"excuse me" a voice said making the two turn to see a white tiger with a little girl on his back
"I'm looking for somewhere safe for the little one" he said shocking the two
"No way" Izuku said
"A white tiger?" Bakugo said "Alright who are you?"
"I'm glad you asked young one, my name is Tigertron and I am a Maximal and this young one is Eri, please we need your help" Tigertron said as he looked at the two.
"To be continued Deku" Bakugo said.
G'Day Guys Grizz here, so that was the exams and the first appearence of Energon which unlike the original didn't disrupt any quirks and might be dangerous to humans if raw, next thing is something I planned since the beginning since everyone and their dog makes Eri show up earlier so I figured why not have Eri show up before her canon debut, so I'm having it happen here with a Maximal everyone's been waiting for: Tigertron! So enjoy the wise old safe of the Maximals being around and see how he got Eri to safety next chapter
