A Tracy Daughter
There hadn't been a girl born into the Tracy Family in generations.
It wasn't from the lack of trying… Heck, Jeff and Lucy couldn't even get a girl after five try's…
It was a widely known fact, in the family, that Tracy's did not know how to make girls.
But then again, Piper Taylor Tracy thought, as she looked down at the precious bundle in her arms. Scott has always been a little bit of an overachiever.
Much to the shock everyone in the room - which at that stage was only Piper, Scott, Willow, Virgil and the baby - the first child of Scott and Piper Tracy and grandchild of Jefferson Grant Tracy… WAS. A. GIRL.
Piper and Scott – so sure that they were going to have a boy – hadn't even picked out a girl's name for their child.
"I guess calling you Grant Harold is out of the question now, isn't it?" Piper whispered to her daughter, as she looked down at Scott and Virgil on the floor – the latter trying to wake the former up after he had passed out upon hearing he had a daughter, not the son he was expecting. "I do wish your daddy would wake up, we need to figure out what to call you before the rest of our family beats the door down."
One hour later…
A very shocked Jeff Tracy held his granddaughter in his arms, "So, kids," he started, looking at his still shell-shocked Son and Daughter-in-Law. "What did you name this little miracle?"
Scott looked at his wife, then turned to his father.
"Umm… Her name is Scout," he answered. "Scout Harriet Tracy."
Notes: Scout is not Jeff's only granddaughter, Alan and Kayo have Kesha and Gordon and Penny have Sophia, after this.
In total Jeff has 3 granddaughters and 8 grandsons.
