The Warden stood, mesmerized, and watched the aircraft course across the sky over their heads. When he turned towards them his eyes held an almost childlike wonder.

"Did you see that?" he asked the two men standing behind him.

Goniff rolled his eyes.

Casino grabbed a fist full of his jacket and gave it a quick shake and hoped it would be enough to break the spell. "Yeah. We saw it! But we gotta keep movin' now, right? We gotta get that stuff we just swiped back to England."

It took a split second before the military mask settled back on his face… Garrison checked his watch. "We've got to meet up with Chief and Actor by 07:30. Hustle it!" he urged his men as he turned back to the path they'd been following and set off.

"Blimey! Did you see 'is eyes?" The little pickpocket gave a shudder. "I thought we were in for it."

Casino shook his head as they took off but he watched the Lieutenant glance back to check the sky over his shoulder. "Jeeze! Look at that! We're not outta the woods yet."

"He wouldn't!" Goniff protested.

"Not this time maybe. He's got his orders." And for once the safecracker was glad of 'orders' and Army regulations that required they be followed. "But I'd lay money a ride in one a them new jet planes is in our future somewhere."
