Ch.02
Ron was struggling to keep maintaining the energy barrier after what felt like days and still being trapped. The reason for his struggle was simple as he'd been maintaining an energy barrier around himself and Shego for a long time and that put a strain on him both physically and mentally. He felt physically and mentally exhausted and there was no end in sight.
With bloodshot eyes Ron realized that without a change in their situation he would pass out and either doom them both or be the only survivor. Ron was not ready to give up on both of them surviving. He started raking his mind for any idea that'll keep him awake but kept finding only one, pain. Pain strong enough to prevent him from going unconscious. That left only one problem and a LOT of worries.
The problem was obvious, would Ron survive? The worries equally so, can he remain focused enough to maintain the barrier on Shego? Will he have enough energy to make it through their predicament? And finally, what's on the other side of this passage?
Noticing his procrastination, Ron gritted his teeth and reshaped the barrier to only protect Shego. The pain was instantaneous but Ron's resolve and focus endured though his throat was going sore from stifled screams. 'This can work but for how long?' Ron thought to himself.

Kim woke up two more times and was sedated before she was calm enough to talk on the third time. A psychiatrist and her doctor were present as Ann, James, Dr Director and Wade confirmed for Kim that the mission had indeed happened and although there was a great sacrifice the amount of lives saved should be a comfort.
After the truth sank in Kim started to cry and Ann asked everyone to leave the room so her family could grieve. The twins came in as everyone exited and hugged their sister without saying a word. Ann and James soon joined them and for what felt like a lifetime they cried. An hour in, the twins and Kim had cried themselves to sleep so Ann grabbed one and James the other and headed home.
Kim was to spend a few days in observation and talking to a psychiatrist before she gets discharged.

Wade had spent neigh upon 50 hours awake trying his best to find a means to rescue Ron and Shego for he believed with certainty that they had survived.
The problem he kept running into was the P.D.V.I. There was absolutely no replacing it and the creator had died after destroying the blueprints. Why he did such a thing was unknown but the man took with him the only way for Wade to save his friend.
Frustrated and at his wits end, Wade screamed in frustration and started smashing his keyboard. His mom heard the noise and let herself into his room to check on him. Seeing Wade's appearance she took him in her arms and lulled him to sleep by rocking him back and forth for an hour.
When Wade woke up it had been 8 hours and he found his mom waiting for him with something to eat. Wade knew that his mom was going to stay by his side till he explained what happened and he didn't know how to tell her that although he's a genius he has no idea how to save his friend.
Eventually her soothing and patient support won and Wade spoke. "I lost a friend on the last mission." He saw her eyes widened and continued. "He didn't die, I am certain of it but he got sent to another universe with another person and as much as tried I can't find a way to reverse it."
"Wade, sweetie look at me." His mom said. Reluctantly, ashamed and afraid to see disappointment on her face, Wade looked up. "If you're certain he, they, are alive isn't it too early to give up?" All he saw was love and support.
"But the only way to save them is through the P.D.V.I. and it's been destroyed." Wade said.
"Look for the creator." His mom suggested.
"He's dead." Wade explained.
"Blueprints?" His mom tried.
"Creator destroyed them before his death." Wade countered. "I'm at a dead end."
"Then isn't the answer obvious?" His mom said. Wade tilted his head in confusion. "I assume you know the theory of how the device worked?" His mom pushed on and asked. Wade nodded still not seeing where she was going with this. "And you know that the device works since they're alive." His mom said and again Wade nodded. "So why don't you try building your own?"
Wade understood his mom but the complexity in such an endeavor stumped him. But his mom was right. Wade knew the theory, he knew it worked since he was certain that Ron and Shego were alive. So all he technically needed to do was figure out the how and put it to work.
"Mom you're a genius!" Wade called out as he rushed her for a hug.
'I hope I didn't just destroy his life by giving him hope.' Wade's mom thought as she hugged him tight.

Ron's agonizing pain continued till he saw what he saw a swirling wormhole ahead of them. In a few minutes they passed the wormhole and Ron saw a blinding set of lights directed at him and Shego. On his knees while clutching onto the unconscious Shego, Ron looked around until shapes came into focused behind the glaring light and the sight shocked him to the core.
Lorwardians machines surrounded them from all sides making Ron briefly wonder if they ended up on their home planet. As for knowing the machines were Lorwardian was easy with the nine feet tall green woman among them.
"Warmonga." Ron said as he felt his vision swimming and passed out.

Shego woke up in what was unmistakably a cell but that wasn't as abnormal as she'd would have preferred. Then she tried seating and panic ensued. She couldn't feel her lower body but Shego's arms worked fine and when she lifted them she was able to see them though her suit had tairs all over. Though Shego knew that she must have gone through a lot during the wormhole, the complete lack of feeling from her chest down was unnerving her.
With difficulty, Shego managed to put her arms behind her on what she assumed was a cot from the feeling in her fingers and pushed herself up. With the elevation her eyes saw past her breasts and laid upon her unresponsive body. Shego's legs were pointing different directions and laid limp on what she confirmed was a cot. Controlling her rising dread, Shego tried to command her legs to move, twitch or anything that'll give her a sign whatever happened was temporary. No such sign was seen.
With tears streaming down her face Shego laid down and started pinching herself hard enough to cause her pain but nothing. No pain was felt not even the sensation of touch was felt from her body. 'But how? How did I end up paralyzed?' Shego thought to herself as she tried to make sense of the situation. Shego remembered fighting Kim and Drakken letting her know it was time. Thus, when she saw an opening she tossed Kim aside and turned towards the wormhole generated by Drakken's machine. Soon after she was hit in the back hard and launched towards the wormhole. In fact, she remembers hearing bone break from the impact and Stoppable move to catch her. A moment later she remembers an unimaginable level of pain before passing out. Next she came to, Shego was in this cell.
With that realization Shego yelled at the top of her lungs. "Fuuuuuuuuuck!!! Stoppable, anyone get out here this instant!! I need medical help!"
Shego spent what felt like hours pleading for medical help but only silence answered her.

Warmonga was ecstatic. The anomaly that had come up on her systems turned out to be a wormhole and through it the buffoon and the battle maiden appeared.
Oh yes, Warmonga was ecstatic and after she updated the Great Blue, he had praised her for finding a new world to conquer. And conquer they shall. Thus in preparation for the Great Blue's arrival Warmonga knew it was up to her to get the information necessary to access that world. So upon returning to the nearest base she dropped the unresponsive Shego at a holding cell and took Ron to an interrogation room.
Warmonga started the interrogation with a shock to Ron's system to jolt him awake.
"Aaaarrghhh!" Ron screamed as the electricity coursed through his system.
"Good, you're awake." Warmonga teased as if she had simply called out to Ron.
"Warmonga!" Ron called out once the electricity stopped.
"And you seem to recognize me." Warmonga noted, adding. "I'll be asking you some questions now and when you answer truthfully we'll move the next one. When you lie or take too long to answer..." A shock went through Ron's system ripping a scream through his lips at the suddenness. "Now shall we begin?"

Ron did not like his wake up call nor how the foreseeable future was looking to be. He kept wondering where Shego was and whether they were on earth or not.
As Ron's thoughts wondered a mile a minute Warmonga asked her next question. "How did the wormhole that brought you here work?"
"That I honestly don't know." Ron answered and from Warmonga's eyes drifting to the side she was tracking his heartbeat.
"What are the components necessary to recreate that event?" Warmonga asked.
Hearing that question Ron connected the dots and he did not like the picture they were making. Warmonga was interested in getting to his world and Ron knew on an instinctual level that he couldn't allow that. Thus he gritted his teeth and waited. Four seconds in, Warmonga shocked him.
"Aaaarrghhh!" Ron yelled when the intensity of the shock was higher than he expected.
"Now, now human, as much as I'd like to hear your screams I expect answers and answers I'll get. Whether from you or your companion." Warmonga threatened.
"Leave Shego out of this!" Ron demanded.
"Then you better answer me." Warmonga threatened. "Now tell me the components necessary to recreate the wormhole that brought you here."
"I can't do that." Not long after Ron spoke the shock coursed through his system. Ron stifled his scream as Warmonga let the current do its work. He tried to think of a solution that would get both him and Shego out of their predicament but nothing came to mind, especially if they weren't on earth. With that line of thought he decided to ask just where had he landed. "How did I land on your planet anyway?"
"Hahahaha, you think yourself worthy?" Warmonga laughed. "You are on earth where you shall live the rest of your days as a slave to the Great Blue so long as you cooperate. Now tell me what I want to know."
'We are on earth? That means Warmonga conquered the planet but how?' Ron asked himself. He knew that the technology at her disposal was leagues above earth's but what about Team Possible?
