North Star Shining Night of Beacon Dance
Kibo is standing in front of a mirror wearing a black suit for the dance he is going as he can feel the suit is just right for his size and can move around easy too, but it looks like he is having a little trouble with putting on a tie.
"Can't seem to get this one right." Kibo said.
"I can help you with that." Glynda walked up to him, wearing a purple dress with a V-shape view of her cleavage and her right thigh is showing.
"Thank you, I guess learning how to tie something like this around the neck." Kibo admitted.
"Guess even the greatest of warriors can have trouble with some things in their life." Glynda stated.
"Along with one of them being not able to save everyone like they wanted, but my Master taught me to value life for those within my reach and those I couldn't." Kibo repeated the words his Master Kenshiro said to him years ago.
"Your master was such a wise man; I only wish I could have met him after the Great War ended." Glynda wondered what Kibo's Master is like.
"He passed away sometime ago before I left the temple, he's in a better place." Kibo looked out the window feeling his master's spirit with him.
"There, the tie is all fix up. We should be going, don't want to keep the others waiting." Glynda smiled.
"Yes, we shall go." Kibo nodded and took Glynda's hand into his hand.
Kibo and Glynda walk together out of the building and on their way to the ballroom where everyone is already having fun with the dance on the way, they walk inside and are greeted by Yang standing at the podium to greet the guests.
"There you two, I was wondering when you would show." Yang waved hello to the couple. She prom dress is a short, white, halter neck dress with a pale gray hem and white pumps.
"Hello, Miss Xiao Long, the dance looks wonderful. I was right to ask you and Weiss to help set it up when team CFVY are still out on their mission." Glynda looked around seeing the dance looking good.
"Thanks, we put some real effort into them." Yang smiled proudly.
"Hey, I know this is a weird thing to bring up now, but I already figured out about you two being lovers and all." Yang mentioned blushing from saying it out loud.
"Oh dear…" Glynda shocked, blushing as well.
"Yang, this may just be a guess, but have you had any feelings for me?" Kibo asked.
"Well, yeah, more ways than one when you and I first met." Yang admitted blushing and smiling.
"Strange, I have felt that way as well even when I have Glynda now." Kibo said holding her hand.
"Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to have more than one girlfriend." Kibo held out his other hand to Yang.
"Whoa, are you saying what I think you're saying?" Yang asked.
"Kibo, don't you know what you're saying?" Glynda asked shock.
"I do and I know this may sound strange coming from me, but I will always love you both with all my heart and soul." Kibo said strongly which struck the hearts of both Glynda and Yang.
"Dang, you always know when to say the right words that can strike harder than your fists." Yang smiled.
"I feel the same, perhaps an open relationship with each other wouldn't hurt." Glynda agreed.
"Well, there is only one thing to do then." Yang grabbed Kibo by the shirt and kiss him straight on the lips.
This shocks Kibo for a bit, but he gladly returns the kiss and wrap one arm around her body as they share a moment while Glynda watches this not minding because it feels right.
"Oh yeah, totally worth it." Yang smiled as she separates herself from Kibo.
"Glad you approved." Kibo smiled back.
"Right, Blake came here with Sun. They're dancing right now." Yang pointed at the dance floor.
"Well, Glynda and I was about to do the first dance, hope you would do the second with me." Kibo offered.
"Don't keep me waiting for too long." Yang winked.
Kibo and Glynda walk to the dancefloor to begin dancing, most of the students and adults saw the two together wondering if they are really together like that or not, but the couple didn't care as all they can focus on was each other and the music that is playing.
"My, you're certainly good on your feet." Glynda complimented.
"It pays to have fast moving feet in battle or in this case a dance." Kibo smiled as he twirls Glynda once.
They dance around the dancefloor for a while and met up with Sun and Blake who have danced their way to them.
"Kibo, I see you're mastering the art of having fun." Sun joked. Wearing a close black short sleeve shirt and a red tie.
"Thanks, feels great when not doing some intensive training." Kibo nodded.
"I'm glad to see you are looking well tonight, Miss Belladonna. I take it you will also be doing well with your grades and your first mission too." Glynda smiled at her student.
"Yes, I promise to do my best. But for now, let just dance." Blake said with truth in her words.
Blake's dress is a short, purple, asymmetrical, halter neck dress that is split up the right side and has a black collar. Translucent black mesh covers her shoulders, decolletage and back, and decorative black swirls cover the left side of the dress and continue up the left strap. The outfit is completed with black pumps, and she wears a teal bow on her head as opposed to her usual black one.
After a few more minutes of dancing, Kibo and Glynda leaves the dancefloor and meeting up with Ruby, Weiss, and Yang who has been waiting patiently to have her turn with the Man of Hokuto.
"When Yang told us about this "harem" thing you decided to start, Kibo, I thought she was out of her mind." Weiss said.
Weiss's prom dress is a short, white, sleeveless dress with cutouts on both sides of her waist. The yoke of the dress is translucent mesh and she also wears white pumps.
"I meant every word of it, and I promise to protect them with my fists." Kibo declared holding out his fist.
"That's good to know, but if you do anything to hurt her than I'm coming for you!" Ruby warned with serious in her eyes.
Ruby's prom dress is a short, red, sleeveless dress with a thick black sash around the waist and black trim along the bottom. The bodice of the dress is split vertically to the sash and laced with black lacing. The yoke of the dress is transparent mesh with an opaque collar and hem, as well as opaque lines connecting the collar to her shoulders. She also wears black stockings and pumps.
"Not before I give you detention for making a threat to your fellow student." Glynda stated.
"Eh, it'll be worth it." Ruby decided not to care about that.
"Bet you were all glad to see Blake come here enjoying herself." Kibo said as they look to see Blake still dancing with Sun as she laughs.
"Oh yeah, that's the face she should do more often." Yang smirked.
"Still, mission accomplished." Weiss smiled proudly.
"Cool, so… What do we do now?" Ruby asked.
"Just have fun." Yang answered and took Kibo's hand to drag him back into the dancefloor as Weiss went into the opposite direction.
"Does that mean I can change out of these stupid things and into my hood now?" Ruby asked almost tripping.
"I see the high-heels aren't doing good for you." Glynda noticed.
"Yeah, I'm just not much of a fancy pantsy... dancey girl." Ruby exclaimed.
"Guess that means you're not enjoying the dance." Ozpin walked up to Ruby and Glynda.
"I just never been the type of girl to go for these kinds of things if they don't involve weapons and fighting Grimm." Ruby stated.
"Well, you can't spend your whole life on the battlefield, even if you may want to." Ozpin pointed out.
"Yeah, that lesson's been floating around a lot lately." Ruby sighed.
"Miss Rose, whole things like this may seem boring, you shouldn't take things for granted as there are things you should cherish for when you got into the fight against Grimm then you might get to experience them again." Glynda stated.
"Huh, I never thought of it like that." Ruby said.
"If you think about it, fighting and dancing aren't so different. Two partners interlocked, although one wrong move on the ballroom merely leads to a swollen foot." Ozpin explained.
"Or a twisted ankle, but the point is to enjoy them with every chance you get." Glynda added.
"I guess it is nice to take a break from all those important Huntress things." Ruby started to see things the two Professors.
"It's not every day that friends are able to come together like this. Time has a way of testing our bonds, but it's nights like these that can help keep them stronger than ever. Nights like these are ones we'll never forget." Ozpin stated.
Meanwhile, Yang and Kibo are dancing together being in the moment together feeling the music taking over their bodies a little, and then Kibo decided to try a little something as he lifts and threw Yang into the air for a couple of seconds, and he caught her.
"Wow, that was awesome!" Yang amazed.
"I tend to please." Kibi smiled.
One more minute of dancing before Kibo went back to the punchbowl where Glynda is waiting, and Yang went back to the podium just in time to see Emerald and Mercury come in.
"You guys are just in time!" Yang said.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Mercury smirked.
Back at the punchbowl, Kiba and Glynda are having a conversation while Ruby is just standing there drinking a cup of punch and then Jaune enter the scene.
"Hey Ruby, trying to hide behind the punchbowl?" Jaune asked.
"Yep." Ruby nodded.
"Well, I think you're doing it better than me." Jaune sighed.
"You came to the dance alone?" Kibo asked getting his attention.
"Oh, hi Kibo, and yeah… I tried asking Pyrrha for the dance yesterday, but I got so nerves and made a stupid joke which she actually laughed and so, here I am alone." Jaune explained.
"It may not be too late since Pyrrha came to the dance alone too." Glynda mentioned.
"She did?" Jaune asked surprise.
"Yep, and I think I just saw her heading up to the balcony." Glynda pointed the way.
"Well, guess there's no time like the present." Jaune sighed making his way to Pyrrha.
Along the way, he notices that Weiss is attending a flower looking alone and to Neptune who is with Blake and Sun laughing probably from a joke, his Arc instincts are telling him that something is up between the two but decided to put that on hold until he resolves things with Pyrrha.
Jaune walk up the stairs seeing Pyrrha in a beautiful red causing his face to turn red for a second before calming himself down.
"Hey, Pyrrha." Jaune called out getting her attention.
"Hello, Jaune." Pyrrha greeted back with a smile.
"The dance, huh, looks great." Jaune commented.
"Yes, it has such an enjoyable air." Pyrrha agreed.
"So, I was told that you came here alone. As in no date." Jaune mentioned.
"Yes, it's true. Nobody asks me." Pyrrha revealed.
"What?! But you're Pyrrha Nikos, the girl who has strength and beauty, h-how could nobody ask you?" Jaune asked shock.
"I've been blessed with incredible talents and opportunities. I'm constantly surrounded by love and praise, but when you're placed on a pedestal like that for so long, you become separated from the people that put you there in the first place. Everyone assumes I'm too good for them. That I'm on a level they simply can't attain. It's become impossible to form any sort of meaningful relationship with people." Pyrrha explained how most of her life has been.
"That's fucking stupid, how could they think you're too good if they aren't willing to take a leap of fate." Jaune stated.
"Yes, and you were the one I come to like the most." Pyrrha admitted shocking Jaune.
"When we met, you didn't even know my name. You treated me just like anyone else. And thanks to you, I've made friendships that will last a lifetime. I guess, you're the kind of guy I wish I was here with. Someone who just saw me for me." Pyrrha said, then saw Jaune taking her hand.
Jaune didn't say anything for two seconds and then he leans in giving her a kiss on the lips shocking the spartan maiden, her eyes close and kissed him back for a moment before they separate.
"Jaune, does that mean…?" Pyrrha asked as she feels her heart racing like crazy.
"I love you, Pyrrha Nikos, and I hope you would do me the honor of being my date to the dance." Jaune gestured his left arm to the dace.
"Yes… Oh my Remnant, yes!" Pyrrha cried tears of joy and jumped onto Jaune wrapping her arms around his neck and spin around together.
"Whoa!" Neptune surprised which caught the newly found couple's attention.
"Pyrrha, go back to the dance. I'll be right with you." Jaune said.
"Okay, I'll be waiting for you." Pyrrha smiled as she walks away, swaying her hips for Jaune to see.
"Man, I don't think anyone is going to believe that you just bagged yourself Pyrrha Nikos." Neptune amazed of Jaune.
"Yeah, I'm still having a hard time believing it myself." Jaune admitted then got back to Neptune.
"Yeah, better late than never I guess, her over the other cute girls." Neptune commented.
"Does that include Weiss?" Jaune asked.
"Oh, huh, yeah… Weiss is cute and something else." Neptune said nervously.
"Really? Because I seem to recall she was gonna ask you to the dance." Jaune mentioned.
"I, uh... it, uh... it just didn't work out, you know?" Neptune said which upset Jaune.
"What? You think that you're too cool, too many other options? Weiss Schnee asked you to the dance. What in the world could possibly keep you from go"
"I can't dance!" Neptune admitted stopping Jaune from the scolding.
"Beg your pardon?" Jaune asked shock and calm.
"I can't dance, man!" Neptune repeated.
"But… you're so cool!" Jaune pointed out.
"Thank you. I try really, really hard." Neptune nodded.
"You would rather break a girl's heart and go to a dance alone than just admit to everyone that you can't move in rhythm to music?" Jaune asked.
"That about sums it up, yeah." Neptune answered.
"You do realize how stupid that sounds, and how it's making you uncool, right?" Jaune asked pointing this out.
"Yeah, but I don't want to embarrass Weiss either. I don't know her too well yet, but she seems pretty cool and seem like a soft snow in the soul or something like that." Neptune stated.
"Then just go talk to her. No pickup lines, no suave moves, just be yourself. I've heard that's the way to go." Jaune advised crossing his arms.
"Yeah, but then"
"Hey!" Jaune yelled a bit, cutting off Neptune from refusing the advice.
"Hey! You don't have to look cool all the time. In all honesty, if you could be a little less cool, I'd really appreciate it." Jaune stated.
Neptune took a moment to think about this realizing how stupid he is being and looking uncool doing it too.
"Yeah, okay." Neptune nodded.
"Go talk to her. I guarantee it'll make her night." Jaune said with a small smile.
"Thanks. You're a really cool guy, Jaune." Neptune complimented as he held out his fist to Jaune for a friendly fist bump.
"Alright, don't lie to my face." Jaune chuckled and bump his fist with Neptune's.
With the talk done, Neptune walk back into the dance to talk with Weiss to tell her about the real reason why he turned her down and spend time with her too.
"All right, only one thing left to do." Jaune smiled as he decided to make a quick stop.
