Feeling the Rhythm of the Battle
The second day of the Vytal Festival has begun with the double round where the teams that have won the first round will decide in half themselves choosing which of the two will go in and fight on like in the previous round.
"Hmm, that Penny girl seems pretty strong." Kibo commented.
"You ain't seen nothing yet!" Ruby giggled excitedly.
Penny, along with her teammate and partner, Ciel Solei, is fighting against Russel Thrush and Sky Lark and they are not doing well against the female duo as they quickly jump behind some large rocks to dodge several of Penny's swords controlled by some strings.
Russel and Sky look at each other looking a bit scared of how crazy strong and skilled that girl is while Penny look back at Ciel who tap on her wrist telling her to wrap this up now.
Penny gave her a nod and use the strings and swords to lift up the rocks which the two boys were holding onto high into the air, and then she throws them down crashing hard onto the ground, breaking the rocks into pieces upon the impact along with the boys' Aura into zero.
"And victory goes to Penny and Ciel of Atlas!" Oobleck announced.
"Thank you for a wonderful time." Penny smiled.
Russel struggles to raise one hand only for his head to be hit by a falling small piece of rock and he falls unconscious.
"Come on, we should go say hi to her!" Ruby excitedly and zooms out of her seat.
"Alright." Kibo nodded as he stood up.
"Hey, meet us at the locker room to wish us luck before our fight." Yang said as she kissed him on the cheek.
Kibo and Ruby saw Penny coming out with her teammate, the girl with the red hood couldn't keep herself contained anymore.
"Penny!" Ruby called out.
"Ruby!" Penny smiled upon seeing her best friend along with the other friend.
Ruby can see that Penny is coming at her though a little faster than expected and tackles her down onto the ground.
"Why…" Ruby exclaimed weakly in pain from the impact.
"Glad to see you've been doing well, Penny." Kibo smiled.
"Thank you, I did my very best." Penny said as she just got up.
"Friends, this here is my teammate." Penny gestured to Ciel.
"Ciel Soleil." Ciel introduced herself.
Ciel has dark skin, straight dark teal hair in an asymmetrical bob style, and blue eyes. She also has a gold marking consisting of an oval shape surrounded by four smaller circles in the center of her forehead. She wears a blue beret, a plain off white golden button-down shirt with an asymmetrical collar and gold trims at the sleeves, a blue pleated combat skirt with a black waistband and matching black fingerless, elbow-length gloves with a silver wristwatch on her left hand and black shoes alongside white, golden buttoned boot chaps. Breasts size: E-cup.
"Hi! I'm Ru—"
"Ruby Rose. 15. Hails from Patch. Leader of Team RWBY. Status: Questionable." Ciel read the file on Ruby on her Scroll and raised an eyebrow at Ruby.
"Then I take it you already know about me as well." Kibo guessed.
"Yes, Kibo Hokuto. 15 years of age as well. Origin of location: Unknown. Currently a one-man team of Beacon. Status: Calm but Dangerous." Ciel said.
"You've been studying well, but the mind can only go so far if you're body isn't able to keep up." Kibo stated.
"I'll consider that." Ciel said.
"Sooo... Penny! You two were incredible out there. How do you keep control of all those swords? It's so cool!" Ruby amazed from that fight earlier.
"I can tell that you've been improving your skills." Kibo complimented which made Penny happy.
"Penny? I believe it is best if we move on to our next location." Ciel mentioned as she taps on her watch.
"Could we have just a minute to talk?" Penny requested.
Ciel look at the time on her watch, seeing they could spare at least one minute, she took a step back and nods at Penny.
"So is she... your friend or...?" Ruby asked curiously about Ciel.
"Well, in a way. She's like Blake, but if Blake was ordered to spend time with you." Penny said.
"In other words, she is like Weiss in a way." Kibo commented.
"Precisely." Penny nodded.
"Does she know about... y'know... beep boop bop, does not compute?" Ruby asked carefully while doing a little robot motion.
"Oh no. General Ironwood doesn't really want anyone to know. There was an incident with a magnet, but I was able to play it off." Penny answered.
(Many Moments Ago)
Penny and Ciel are seen together at the festival ground with the former wearing a large sun hat though a wind picks up making the hat float to show the magnet, but she quickly got the hat back on just before Ciel could turn around.
(Present)
"I suppose that make sense, the general is keeping you mostly a big secret." Kibo said. But still wonder about this "Saving the World" thing she mentioned.
"Ruby, Kibo, there's something I've been wanting to talk to you about." Penny said, she looks over to Ciel seeing that she isn't paying attention and looks back to her friends.
"I want to stay at Beacon." Penny whispered her decision to them.
"Penny, they'll never let you do that." Ruby pointed out.
"Would your father really be okay with even wanting to let you stay at Beacon?" Kibo asked. Surely, the man who built Penny must have some form of plan for that.
"Don't worry, I already have a plan in mind." Penny smiled.
"It's been precisely one minute, ma'am." Ciel informed.
"I'll talk to you more soon, Ruby. Bye, Kibo!" Penny waved goodbye as she walks away with Ciel.
"So, what you suppose this plan is that Penny has in mind?" Kibo asked curiously.
"I'm not sure, but it seems like Penny must have something if she really wants to stay at Beacon. Oh, maybe it's getting herself a disguise like a different robot body!" Ruby guessed.
"But how would that even work since she is the first robot to have Aura?" Kibo was puzzled by that.
"I don't know, but her dad was able to do it and I'm sure he can help Penny." Ruby believed.
"Our next match will begin in 15 minutes!" Port announced.
"Better get over to the locker room and wish Yang and Weiss good luck." Kibo said as he makes a run for the locker room.
"Tell Yang I wish her luck too!" Ruby yelled smiling.
Kibo arrives at the locker room seeing Yang and Weiss were waiting at the entrance, and there appears to be a girl having a talk with Weiss as they seem to know each other.
"Kibo!" Yang spotted her boyfriend.
"Came by just as you requested." Kibo said.
"Aren't you a sweetie." Yang smiled and pulls him in for a kiss on the lips which he doesn't mind.
"So, this is the man of Hokuto I heard so much about." The girl who was talking with Weiss looked a little closer at Kibo.
"Kibo Hokuto, I take it you are friends with Weiss." Kibo guessed.
"I'm still surprise that Weiss even has a friend back in Atlas." Yang commented.
"Hush, you." Weiss glared.
"My name is Richter Louisa; it is an honor to meet you." Ritcher introduced herself politely with a curtsy.
Ritcher Louisa is a young woman with long blonde hair that reaches down to the middle of her back and a green ribbon tied to the back and has beautiful green eyes that shine like jewels. She wears a white school uniform with a long skirt that reaches down just above her feet, two black stripes at the bottom of the skirt and matching designs on the cuff sleeves and folded neck hold, a dark blue handkerchief, silver buttons on the right side of the shirt, a red sash on the right arm sleeve with the Atlas kingdom emblem on it, and black shoes with a hint of military-like design. She also has a badge in the shape of the Atlas kingdom emblem as well. Breasts size: H-cup.
"She goes to the normal high school, but she is already at the very top of the classes among the first-year students." Weiss bragged a little.
"Well, let's hope you don't get to high up before you start falling down." Yang joked.
"I see you weren't kidding about her bad jokes." Richter deadpanned.
"Her puns are worse." Weiss said with a deadpan expression as well.
"Hey!" Yang glared at the two.
"I'm so glad you came to Vale, Richter. I still have so much to show you around the city, and I know a good spot where we can do a little of your "artwork" as well." Weiss whispered the last part to her.
"Sounds wonderful, I can't wait to try it once your match is finish." Richter smiled.
"Next match will begin in five minutes!" Port announced.
"Goodness, we better get to our seats." Richter said.
"Fight well and here's a little piece of advice for you. When there is no calm outside of you, you must find the calm inside of you. Find your inner peace, your balance, and the outer chaos will go away." Kibo said.
"Whoa, that's some heavy wisdom you're laying out." Yang commented.
"Just something I thought you could need." Kibo said, gave her a quick kiss on the lips before leaving.
(Outside on the Fighting Ring)
Yang and Weiss, being the duo for the Double Round, are standing together on the fighting stage with the former stretching her arms.
"Well, now it's our turn!" Yang excitedly.
"Just remember to keep proper form." Weiss advised.
"Alright." Yang rolled her eyes. She isn't too worried about the fight as she believes this fight will be in the bag.
"You're from Atlas. What could we expect?" Yang asked, curious about the kind of opponents who are from the same kingdom as Weiss.
"Well, seeing as their Kingdom, academy and armed forces are all merged as one, I think we can expect strict, militant fighters with advanced technology and carefully rehearsed strategies." Weiss listed the stuff she believes the students of Atlas would be like.
Suddenly a rainbow zooms past both Yang and Weiss catching them by surprise and look over to the opposite end of the stage to see one girl with a cat tail and the other is a guy with a trumpet and shades.
"…Or the unique musical students that Richter warned us about." Weiss surprised.
"They do seem to have the musical vibe." Yang commented.
The guy is Flynt Coal, a young, dark-skinned man with dark brown eyes. He wears rectangular sunglasses and a dark fedora with a blue trim on his head as well as an earring on his right ear. He wears a dark vest over an untucked white dress shirt, with a loose tie wrapped around the collar. Completing his attire is a pair of dark dress pants, silver dress shoes and a dark glove on his left hand.
The girl is Neon Katt, a young girl with a light complexion. She has sea green eyes and moderate red-orange hair with light blue streaks in her bangs. As a feline Faunus, Neon's physical trait is that of a cat tail covered with pink fur that becomes lighter toward the tip. She wears a large range of bright colors and is lighter and more revealing than that of most other characters. She wears a light blue cropped tank top over a dark purple bra, showing her upper cleavage. She also wears dark purple short shorts under a pink combat mini-skirt and white belt with a yellow winking smiley face on the buckle. Two buttons are fixed to her tank top over her right breast, one purple with a cat design and another green one with a heart. Her hair was done up in two pig tails. She also has a white cat bell collar around her neck, a pair of bracers on her arms and pads on her shins and knees. She wears red trick roller blades, which she also uses to quickly move around. The roller blades each only have two wheels to assist her in her tricks. A tattoo of a shooting star with a red, green and yellow trail winds around her right arm. Neon wears two small gold earrings in her left ear and one in her right. Breasts size: FF-cup.
"Hey!" Flynt called out to Weiss, getting her attention.
"You Weiss Schnee, right? The heiress." Flynt asked.
"I am." Weiss answered with a confident smile.
"I take it you're pretty good with Dust, then?" Flynt asked as well, in a friendly tone though Sun can tell that he is just an act.
"I do my best." Weiss said humbly with her hands on her hips.
"Yeah, my dad was good too. Owned a little Dust shop of his own. Till your father's company ran him out of business." Flynt said with his tone being a little bit dark and his eyes hiding behind the shades.
This got Weiss to feel sad upon realizing that this guy's father was one of the victims that were brushed away by her cruel father, and this guy has a grudge against her just because she's related to that mean man.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Weiss apologized.
"Sure you are." Flynt looked away sarcastically, not buying that apology crap from the rich bitch.
"Hey! Why don't you—"
"Hey! Why don't you?" Neon cut off Yang by imitating her words and using a mocking tone. "That's what you sound like!" She giggled.
Yang was caught off guard from how that girl talk to her like that and has no idea on how to react to that.
"Hey! Where'd you get your hair extensions?" Neon asked.
"This is just my normal hair." Yang said while gently stroking her hair.
"Yeah! Is that a prob—" Yang was gonna ask, but Neon cut her off again.
"You should try rollerblading sometime! It's super fun! It'd probably take you a while, though, since you're so... you know, top-heavy." Neon insulted as she spins around and sways her hips.
Yang looks down at her large breasts getting the worse feeling that this cat girl just called her fat because of her big chest.
"Excuse me?" Yang asked angrily.
"Oh, here we go." Ruby sighed, that cat girl is going to get it now.
"We should be worried about her?" Sun asked Blake as he and his team have joined them to watch the match together.
"There are times when she lets her anger gets the best of her, but she'll be fine." Blake promised.
"I agree, she'll show that girl not to mess with her." Kibo nodded.
Then the fighting stage started to change into four new areas around the four combatants, the volcanic area, sandy desert, steaming geysers, and ruined buildings.

"Three! Two! One!" Port started the countdown.
Neon bends down and gets ready as she grins at her opponents who are confused about what she is grinning about, but they will find out soon.
"BEGIN!"
Flynt plays his trumpet with a powerful soundwave that nearly blows Yang and Weiss back as they try their best to hold their ground, and Neon goes into the soundwave with the rainbow trail behind her and smack Yang toward the ruined city part.
Weiss and Flynt stare at each other for a second and the latter unleashes another soundwave to knock the heiress away, but Weiss conjures black glyphs to keep herself from being blown away and to move forward slowly toward Flynt.
Flynt saw this and stop his sound to force Weiss into moving forward fast losing her balance, this also left an opening for Flynt to throw a kick on her back to knock her through a fire crystal and into the lava area.
Yang is chasing Neon around trying to shoot her, but it's not easy when the girl is traveling fast on her rollerblades and the rainbow trail must also be her Semblance.
Neon looks back at Yang giving her a nasty expression by pulling down the bottom eyelid and sticking out her tongue, this got Yang angry again and fired some rapid blasts from her Ember Celica trying to shot down that annoying shaking cat girl.
"Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat!" Neon repeated the words while dodging and rolling on a building and railing.
"(This battle sure is a little strange than the other ones, but still a battle I will watch until the end.)" Kibo thought watched this battle carefully to see how Yang and Weiss will win this.

The next fight is Yang and Weiss vs two unique students from Atlas who seem to have their own groovy vibe in this fight, and they seem to have their sight on ending WY with one of them having a grudge on Weiss because of her father.
In case those who are wondering about Richter Lousia, she's an anime Hentai character who MAY become part of Kibo's harem later in the story. Along with some other Hentai girls.
