Motivation to Move Forward with Strong Hearts

Pyrrha is seen sitting down with her back leaning against the wall outside of the dining hall as she looks up at the orangish red sky after having a fun day at the festival ground, it was a blast though it went a little crazy with Nora going physical extreme with some of the games and almost getting banned from one or two of them.

And then a single orange leaf came down onto the palm of her hands, this reminds her of seeing Amber in that capsule and barely alive.

Thinking about that makes Pyrrha wonder if she will be up for the challenge to become the Fall Maiden, even when Kibo believes she can do it, she is still not entirely sure herself.

"Hey." Jaune said, getting her attention to see that he is holding a cone of a large puff of cotton candy.

"I-It's no green goop that Ren tried to make you drink earlier, but I think it still might do some good." Jaune said.

"Aw, how sweet of you. Thank you." Pyrrha thanked as she took the cotton candy.

"I see you're starting to cheer up some more." Jaune noticed as he sits down next to his girlfriend.

"Oh yes, some positive cheering with the fairground and being with you helped me out." Pyrrha nodded before eating a piece of cotton candy.

Nora hops happily thinking the team had enough fun for the day, but then she saw Jaune and Pyrrha having a moment and knew this would be good for them.

"Uh... come on, Ren. Let's go back to the fairgrounds. I'll win you another stuffed animal." Nora said while dragging a confused Ren who is carrying cotton candy, a tub of popcorn, and a drink to sip on.

"Wow, to think we would find ourselves right in the Vytal Festival. I honestly didn't think would get this far." Jaune amazed of being able to get here during his time in Beacon.

"Yes, it felt like time was moving too fast for us, but that could be just me." Pyrrha said.

"You were the first person to ever believe in me, you know that?" Jaune said, and then a sad smile forms on his face.

"Even when I told my parents I was going to Beacon, they told me not to worry if I ended up having to move back home. How depressing is that?" Jaune mentioned how his parents didn't give him the support he needed back then, not even a "Good Luck" say from them.

Pyrrha is surprised and disappointed that her beloved knight's own parents didn't sound supportive of their son's goal to become a Huntsman. Sure, Jaune didn't exactly have any talent for combat nor even had his Aura unlocked before coming to Beacon along with lacking in other things, but that still doesn't give them the excuse to neglect his dream.

Still, his parents must have their reason for not letting Jaune pursue the career of a Huntsman.

"I'm sure they didn't mean—" Pyrrha stopped when she felt his hand on top of hers.

"I guess... I'm just trying to say that... you've always been there for me... even when I didn't deserve it. And I can tell there's something on your mind, so... I don't know. How can I help?" Jaune asked.

Pyrrha smiles at Jaune knowing that he is always going to be there to help her even though he may have no idea on how to do it, but her heart feels strong in each beat from just being near the man who became what she wanted for a long time.

Jaune became someone who became the bright light of her life that she couldn't have asked for more.

"You're already doing it." Pyrrha leaned her head onto his shoulder.

Jaune felt his heart skipped a beat a little though he is calm and lean his head onto her own head, having a quiet moment for a while that nothing could interrupt their peaceful moment.

"(Oh man, to think I would ever find myself having the most wonderful Amazon in my life.)" Jaune thought smiled.

The quiet time was over when Pyrrha spoke again.

"Jaune, do you believe in destiny?" Pyrrha asked. Jaune was taken aback by that sudden question.

"Um... I-I don't know. I guess that depends on how you view it." Jaune said, thinking that Pyrrha may have something she wants to talk about.

"When I think of destiny, I don't think of a predetermined fate you can't escape. But rather... some sort of final goal, something you work towards your entire life." Pyrrha explained as she looks up at the sky.

"Uh, I guess it's something like that when you put it in those words." Jaune said, but not really sure himself.

"Well... what would you do if something came along that you... never expected? Something that had the potential to stand between you and your destiny?" Pyrrha asked.

"Like what?" Jaune asked back, now getting confused with the question.

"Or what if you could suddenly fulfill your destiny in an instant, but at the cost of who you were?" Pyrrha asked another, looking like she is barreling herself in stress.

"Pyrrha, you're not making any sense." Jaune confused.

"None of it makes sense! This isn't how things were supposed to happen!" Pyrrha freaked out.

"Pyrrha, listen to me! You have got to snap out of her!" Jaune suddenly slapped Pyrrha across the cheek. He gasps upon realizing what he just did.

"Oh my Grimm, Pyrrha! I am so sorry!" Jaune apologized.

But Pyrrha had other plans in response to that slap.

"You snap out of it!" Pyrrha slapped Jaune back.

"You snap out of it!" Jaune yelled as he slapped her again.

"You snap out of it!" Pyrrha yelled and slapped him again.

"You snap out of it!" Jaune slapped her again.

"You snap out of it!" Pyrrha slapped him again.

The couple kept on slapping each other for several more times even though Pyrrha's slaps are harder than Jaune's own slap, he wouldn't let himself fall to the ground.

"Can we please just kiss each other already?" Jaune asked yelling.

"Yes! That would be a nice change of pace!" Pyrrha agreed loudly, and still a bit angry.

"Okay, good!" Jaune nodded.

And the two lean in kissing each other hard with their tongues swirling onto each other, both sucking their lips deep like they are trying to the air out of each other's lungs until they finally separate.

"Okay, that was… intense." Jaune commented.

"Yes, it sure was." Pyrrha agreed.

"Pyrrha, are you really worried about some destiny thing that you're scared about giving something up?" Jaune asked.

"I guess you could say I've been given an opportunity that could be something bigger than myself, a big change that could be good… but I'm also scared it could be a bad thing that I may not be myself anymore." Pyrrha explained, without giving away the vault and the Fall Maiden.

"Well, that's stupid." Jaune said.

"Huh?" Pyrrha surprised, she was not expecting that kind of reaction from him.

"I mean stupid that you think something like this "big opportunity" changes who you are on the inside, no matter what happens in your life, you're the one in charge of your own life and whatever the world has to throw at you. Then just power right through it or make it into your own as an extra expansion of yourself!" Jaune stated.

"But Jaune, what… What if it's something too big for me to handle alone?" Pyrrha asked.

"Then shout out and ask for help! Who ever says that you have to do everything alone?" Jaune responded a little louder.

"Even my great-great grandfather knew that he couldn't do everything by himself without some help from his friends, and you should do that too." Jaune pointed out.

"Pyrrha, even the strongest and most skillful Hunters out there can't always do everything by themselves nor tried to do everything at once. That's why we have each other, why we have our friends, to support each other. No matter how hard things may get." Jaune stated.

"That's… sounds very wise." Pyrrha commented.

"I think Kibo might be rubbing off on me." Jaune chuckled.

Pyrrha giggles, starting to think about this more on taking on the Fall Maiden role and probably taking Amber's remaining half into herself might not be a bad thing like she is helping the poor woman to live a little longer through her and she can always turn to Kibo and Jaune and others whenever she thinks she can't handle certain things on her own.

And even if Amber no longer exists, she will still carry on the power within and she has her own will of life to go through even if she becomes the Fall Maiden right now.

"Thank you, Jaune. I believe you have helped me more than you realize." Pyrrha thanked.

"You're welcome, my crimson Amazon." Jaune said flirting a little.

Pyrrha laughs and goes in to kiss him on the lips again.

(With Ruby, Yang, and Kibo)

The scene shows of the cliffside docking bays down the main alleyway and under the floating Amity Colosseum where Velvet is taking some pictures of Sun and his weapon, Ruby and Kibo along with Yang are walking together decided to have a little chat with her.

"Velvet, looks like you're doing alright." Kibo said, getting the rabbit-Faunus' attention.

"Kibo, Ruby, how are you doing?" Velvet asked.

"Doing good, and I see our little monkey friend is making himself look good." Kibo looked over at Sun.

"Just trying to look my best when my match comes up, can't wait to see who I'll be facing." Sun smirked.

"So, what are you doing now, Velvet?" Ruby asked.

"Oh, you know. Just working on my photography. Do you wanna see?" Velvet showed her pictures to the two, and Sun joins in to see if she got his good side.

But to their surprise, she didn't even get all of Sun in the picture as she seem to have only got his weapon in each shot with his head cut off and his feet.

"What the fuck, Velvet? You only got my Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang?!" Sun angered.

"I know, but these are great shots of your weapon, am I right?" Velvet smiled proudly at her work.

"Good, it does look good and all, but what about taking pictures of me?" Sun asked.

"Sorry, this is more for my Semblance." Velvet giggled.

"You know, I never did see you use your Semblance during the breach." Ruby realized.

"Perhaps she is saving that for the tournament since she is one of the final fighters." Kibo guessed.

"That's right, it's my little surprise." Velvet nodded.

"I hope this surprise doesn't freak people out like the last one." Sun rolled his eyes.

"Sun!" Ruby yelled at the blonde monkey boy.

"Don't worry, I'm sure he didn't mean it in a mean way. People are still talking about it, saying that if we're really up for challenge since we couldn't stop that masked killer." Velvet mentioned.

"Shit, like they would know everything about us." Sun rolled his eyes.

"They're just scared about what happened, and I'm surprised that none of us were able to pick up on that Asura warrior consider he wasn't hiding any murdering intent." Kibo said as he looks towards Sun.

"Yeah, that must've really hide himself good." Sun said.

"Most people don't know what it's like on the battlefield. I mean, even experienced fighters can get scared with the sight of blood and murdering around them and start seeing things." Velvet mentioned.

"Seeing things? What do you mean?" Kibo asked curiously.

"Well, I had a little talk with Isabella when we left your room and she mentioned how she fought Emerald who tried to use an illusion Semblance to trick her into seeing Yuki was with her, but she was able to see through that." Velvet explained.

"Hmm, interesting." Kibo stroked his chin a little.

"Maybe Emerald was trying to trick Isabella into thinking she was starting to see things through some stress in battle, but I can tell that girl hardly get stress." Sun stated.

"But speaking of Emerald, do you guys remember how Mercury got himself some robotic legs when Yuki ripped it off?" Sun mentioned that moment.

"I know, it was so freaky and cool at the same time! I wonder what happened to his old legs, what features those robot legs have, and do they have rocket boost to fly?" Ruby was amazed and asked a bunch of questions about Mercury's legs.

"I think they were planning something else." Kibo said.

"What makes you say that?" Velvet asked her boyfriend.

"Neither Emerald nor Mercury have ever mentioned a shingle thing about their Semblance and the fact that Mercury's legs were robotic to begin with. It feels like this was more than some advantage for the tournament." Kibo stated as he pace around a little.

"Hold up, are you trying to say that those guys were up to something bad?" Ruby asked, getting a little of what Kibo is saying.

"It's just something my instincts is going off about them and Cinder, I sensed some darkness in them, and they were hiding it on purpose while putting on a fake face." Kibo explained how he felt about those three.

"Okay, now you're starting to scare me." Ruby scared a little.

"I think we should go have a chat with them." Sun suggested.

"I don't know if we can. I heard they have already gone back to Mistral a little after that Asura warrior showed up." Velvet mentioned.

"Or maybe they're hiding out." Kibo said.

"When is the next match happening?" Kibo asked.

"Soon, I'll inform the Nanto Masters to have to keep an eye out for Cinder, Mercury, and Emerald." Sun took out his Scroll to make the call.

"I'll head over to Ozpin to let him, and General Ironwood know about this. Ruby, I need you to head on over to Colosseum to see if either of them are there. Velvet will look around the school to see if they are still here." Kibo ordered.

"Now this is becoming serious." Ruby started to see this.

"I have a feeling those guys are going to do something that could hurt a lot of people and we need to stop it before it happens." Kibo glared at the sky.

(Amity Colosseum)

Ruby is seen walking around within the audience seating area trying to find any sign of the three people who she thought were her friends, she still couldn't believe those guys would do anything bad, especially right in the middle of the Vytal Festival.

But her eyes widen upon seeing a familiar mint-haired girl sitting on the opposite side.

"Emerald's… here!" Rub gasped and quickly ran off.

Emerald thought she felt like someone was looking at her directly but did see anything and just shrug it off thinking it was her imagination.

"Kibo! Oh my fucking Grimm, I actually spotted Emerald! She's still here!" Ruby alerted Kibo over her Scroll.

"Ruby, calm down. She has notice you yet?" Kibo asked.

"No, but now I'm looking around to see if Mercury is here as well." Ruby entered through a door that has the maintenance sign on it and now inside the Colosseum.

"All right, it's now time to begin the randomization process for our next fight!" Oobleck announced.

"This is bad, Kibo! Really… bad!" Ruby stopped when she is now confronted with Mercury who is in the hallway and blocking her path.

"…And I just found Mercury." Ruby informed.

"It looks like our first contender is... Penny Polendina from Atlas..." Port introduced.

"Oh, talking to your North Star friend." Mercury smirked.

"And her opponent will be... Pyrrha Nikos from Beacon!" Port revealed. But made Ruby feel horrible that Pyrrha and Penny putting against each other cannot be a coincidence.

"No!" Ruby realized horribly.

"Ooh, polarity versus metal. That could be bad." Mercury smirked.

"Kibo! We have got a big problem here! It's Penny vs Pyrrha?!" Ruby quickly informed before it was shot out of her hand by Mercury.

"Let's keep this between friends." Mercury said sarcastically.

(With Kibo)

"Ruby? Hello? Did you say that Pyrrha and Penny are going to fight next?" Kibo asked, but all he could here are statics.

"You'll be fighting too." A voice said.

Kibo heard and quickly turn around though couldn't bring up his defense when a punch landed on his face and send him flying crashing into a building.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!

Oh boy, looks like something big and bad is going to happen even when our heroes are trying to prevent that from happening, and now Kibo may find himself going up against the person with the very deep darkness he has been sensing throughout the time of the festival.
