Light Dipper Meets the Dark Dipper
Ozpin is sitting at his office watching the next fight between Pyrrha and Penny being announced through the "randomized" selected fight on his Scroll.
"Alright, it's now time to begin the randomization process for our next fight!" Oobleck announced over the broadcast.
"It looks like our first contender is... Penny Polendina, from Atlas! And her opponent will be... Pyrrha Nikos, from Beacon!" Port announced the two fighters.
This has Ozpin curious about this Penny girl being a good fighter from what he heard from James as she seems to be one of the best students in Atlas Academy, just below Jonathan as well.
But what he doesn't realize is that something serious is going on at that tournament, and what is also happening at his very schoolground right now.
(With Kibo)
Kibo appears to be under some rubble that would have crushed a normal person giving them broken bones, some parts of their bodies bleeding, and maybe some crushed organs along with some nasty scars as well. And a very high possibility that some people would even die from this kind of thing.
Not unless they were trained students of Hunter academies having their Aura to protect them and stronger than some like Kibo being the master of Hokuto Shinken.
Kibo instantly burst out of the rubble of derbies with them flying away and showing not a single scratch on him, and the derbies that flew at the attacker were crumbling away from the contact of the intense dark aura around his body.
"(His Aura feels so strong from here, and he hid himself very well that I couldn't detect him when he threw that punch.)" Kibo thought noted as he wipes the little blood from his lips.
"Looks like I'm finally meeting the one who send that attack after the Breach incident." Kibo said.
"Glad to know you already realize that. I was a little worried about you being an idiot for not remembering the feeling of my Demonic Mighty Aura." The dark being said with his eyes glowing red.
"Demonic Mighty Aura? Sounds you're no ordinary fighter and you don't even go to any of the Hunter schools, do you?" Kibo already felt this guy is not like most people around his age.
"That's right, I don't go to those pathetic schools when I was already destined for something greater such as bringing this world to its ruins!" The dark being smirked as he starts marching towards Kibo.
"What is your name, I'll be sure to remember it when I bury you." Kibo demanded while walking to his enemy as well.
"You can call me Zetsubō, meaning Despair which is what I am for you." Zetsubo revealed his name.
Zetsubo is a muscular young man, just slightly older than Kibo, pale peach skin, short and spiky dark red hair, and the eyes are red as blood. He wears a suit of armor with pure white lines on the fingerless gauntlets and the wing-shape shoulder pads along with the legs and the shoes, and smaller whit lines are designed like veins. On the chest area of the armor is the face of a white skulled armor of a Manticore with red eyes and long fangs reaching past the waist level, and a cape that is black on the inside and white on the outside with a black queen chess piece. He also has a Turned V scar that is between his eyes and right above the bridge of his nose.
"I also take it that you're also connected with Cinder in a way?" Kibo asked.
"You could say we are, but you're not going to live long enough to find out." Zetsubo proclaimed as he raised a fist.
"Do you really believe you have a chance against the Fist of the North Star?" Kibo asked while cracking his knuckles.
"Oh, you have no idea on what I am capable of, but I am willing to give you a little preview of my capabilities." Zetsubo turned around and stepped aside to show a middle-aged man who appears to be frozen in place.
"That's the janitor of the school!" Kibo recognized the man.
"I struck him on his vital points that he would remain freezes like a statue that he would not move at all nor make a single sound from his mouth, and he would die by seeing a light that shines of the Seven Stars of Hokuto." Zetsubo explained.
"You what?" Kibo shocked.
"Behold!" Zetsubo conjured his Demonic Mighty Aura to emerge from his body and create seven little balls of light as they form into the shape of the Seven Stars of Hokuto right in front of the janitor.
The poor janitor scream and gasping in pain as blood gushes out from his body like a water balloon and fell onto the ground in death.
"No, no, that can't be… That was Hokuto Shinken technique of Gen On Kai (Deceptive of Delayed Destruction)!" Kibo shocked, he couldn't believe this Zetsubo guy performed a Hokuto move.
"Yes, but I'm sure you can already tell that there was a slight difference in that move." Zetsubo turned back to Kibo.
"Just how is it that you know the Hokuto style? There can only be one successor of Hokuto Shinken and no other!" Kibo stated.
"Yes, while that is true, but who's to say there wasn't a second Hokuto style. One that is devoted to becoming a demon." Zetsubo mentioned with a smirk.
"A second Hokuto style, one to become a demon?" Kibo was confused by what this foe just said, but then he started to realize something that he heard from his master long ago during his training.
(Flashback)
Kibo is sitting in one of the rooms with his Master Kenshiro sitting a few feet across from the soon-to-be-successor of Hokuto Shinken, the master wishes to have a talk with the boy in hopes that he will never have to encounter such a thing like he had back in the past, but he would also like for Kibo to be prepare such that ever happen.
"Listen up, Kibo. This is something of the upmost important that you hear these words for you may face something dangerous in the near future." Kenshiro said to his student.
"What is it, Master Kenshiro?" Kibo asked.
"It is about the fountain of Hokuto Shinken, how it was created… and how there a second Hokuto style was created as the opposite of the light." Kenshiro mentioned.
"There was another Hokuto style before? But I thought it was impossible because Hokuto Shinken has a single successor!" Kibo shocked.
"There was and I almost died when fighting against the user of that style." Kenshiro revealed. This shocked Kibo so much that he almost fell face-first to the floor but kept himself from falling.
"Pay close attention, my boy. This is the story of when I traveled to the island of Asura and found out the truth of the Hokuto style's past, the second Hokuto style known as…"
(Flashback End)
"Hokuto Ryuken!" Kibo uttered the two words out loud while his fists are shaking.
"THAT'S RIGHT! IT IS THAT VERY STYLE YOU SEE BEFORE YOU!" Zetsubo laughed loudly with his aura spiking up and spreading over several feet around him with a shockwave.
Kibo braced himself from the powerful shockwave that is coming off from this dark young man who he just figured out is the fighter of Hokuto Ryuken, the most dangerous and demonic fighting style in the history of martial art itself.
"But how is that possible? Hokuto Ryuken should've died permanently when the last master of that style was defeated by my master and the man ended his own life in magma." Kibo yelled.
"Oh, don't worry, you'll find out soon… But first, don't you at least bit worried about the match that is about to happen?" Zetsubo asked with a grin.
The match? The fight at the Vytal Festival tournament that is happening right now, and Kibo just remembers Ruby telling him about Pyrrha vs Penny.
"No! If that fight happens then…!" Kibo realized what's going to happen in that match.
"It looks like you figured that part out as well. It's going to be massacre for everyone!" Zetsubo laughed.
"You and Cinder won't get away with this." Kibo glared angrily as he marched forward.
"Famous line of a hero… A soon-to-be dead one." Zetsubo marched forward to meet with him at the center point.
Kibo and Zetsubo kept their eyes on each other for a moment until they are finally just a few inches from each other, meeting each other face-to-face.
Kibo starts to unleash his red Aura clashing against Zetsubo dark aura that causes sparks of electricity erupting from the two of them, and several cracks around them and spreading about ten to fifteen feet radius along with a burst of shockwave causing a little earthquake.
"Impressive that you're able to withstand my Aura, the last guy of Hokuto Shinken couldn't stand up to the demonic might and was defeated getting the first taste." Zetsubo impressed.
"When my master told me about the story of Hokuto Ryuken, he also trained me to be ready should I face a warrior with a powerful demonic presence and I'm glad to say that it has paid off." Kibo explained.
"Wow, that's really awesome!" Zetsubo complimented.
"I had thought this battle would have been boring if you fall." Zetsubo smirked evilly.
(Amity Colosseum)
Penny and Pyrrha are standing on the same fighting stage as their fight is about to erupt.
"Sal-u-tations, Pyrrha Nikos! It's an honor to finally meet you!" Penny greeted.
"It's nice to meet you too, Penny. I heard about from Ruby, being best friends and all." Pyrrha nodded.
"Oh yes, Ruby is a very trustful friend." Penny smiled proudly.
"Well, I wish you luck in the fight." Pyrrha bowed.
"You too! This is going to be so much fun!" Penny excitedly.
"I have to go." Ren said as he got up.
"What's wrong?" Jaune asked as Nora looks worried.
"I just word from Sun that Mercury, Emerald, and Cinder are still here and are planning to do something bad within this fight." Ren answered.
"What the what?!" Nora gasped.
"You're saying that Pyrrha and Penny are in danger right now?" Jaune asked worried.
"I fear that might be the case, which is why I'm going to try finding Emerald right now. I need you two to stay here and keep a lookout for the fight, inform me if anything odd happens between them." Ren stated.
"We can do that!" Jaune nodded and put his sight on full-focus mode to Pyrrha.
"Break their legs for me!" Nora said.
"I will." Ren nodded, but he leans to Nora's cheek and kissed her before leaving.
This little stunt left Nora completely speechless as she was NOT expecting that to happen, but she didn't exactly hate it either.
(With Ruby and Mercury)
"I don't know how you know about Penny, or how you got her to fight with Pyrrha, but I'm not going to let whatever you're planning happen." Ruby glared.
"Yeah, good luck with that, little rose." Mercury chuckled, not intimidated by this chick.
"Fighters, are you ready?" Oobleck asked.
This only made Mercury smirk that the plan is about to start.
The scene split into a half with one side showing Kibo vs Zetsubo about to start at the top while at the bottom half shows Penny vs Pyrrha is also about to start at the same time. Then the scene opens showing Ruby bracing herself and pulling out her Crescent Rose as she really glad that Kibo also reminded her to get it before arriving here.
Three fights are about to happen at the same time.
"3, 2, 1... BEGIN!" Oobleck declared the start of the fight.
(Music: Gods of Destruction, Death Battle: Beerus vs Sailor Galaxia)
Penny brings out her Floating Array to surround herself with then moving them towards Pyrrha who charges in getting past and blocking the swords as she ran towards her opponents, but the swords turn around to chase after her.
(Ruby vs Mercury)
"Showtime!" Mercury said.
Ruby quickly jumps into the air and fired three shots at Mercury who quickly responded by shooting his own clashing against hers, but she immediately zooms back down and towards to swipe her scythe at Mercury's foot to make him trip and managed to land a kick in the face during the midair.
However, Mercury was able to respond to that as well by twisting his body to throw a kick on the side of Ruby's head leaving stunned for a bit.
"I'll admit, that wasn't half bad." Mercury rubbed his face a little.
"But I'm afraid that free hit is all you're getting." Mercury proclaimed.
Ruby quickly regains her focus and glares at Mercury, determined to not let anything bad happen to her friends.
(Kibo vs Zetsubo)
Their instincts told them to strike now, and they each threw a punch that causes a flash for an instant and both were pushed back from each other though Kibo almost fell on one knee.
Then little blood squirted from the side of their faces though Kibo's wound is a little bigger than Zetsubo's.
"It looks like your strength is nothing to laugh at either." Zetsubo commented.
"But if that's really all you got then I'm afraid you're going to lose here." Zetsubo proclaimed.
Kibo charges forward with blinding speed that Zetsubo was quick to react as he brought out one arm for defense.
"Hokuto Hiei Ken (Flying Defense Fist)!" Kibo leaped for a flying kick that connects with the arm that pushes his opponent back by one foot.
"Not good enough!" Zetsubo swinged his arm to send him flying.
But Kibo uses the momentum of the swing to jump above him and rolls like a ball into the air landing on the other side, and then stops as he put his hands together and pray for the janitor to find peace in the afterlife.
"Are you fucking serious right now?" Zetsubo surprised and confused of this disgusting scene right now.
"Why are you giving crap about some random janitor who had nothing worth while living? He was just a stupid janitor who only does cleaning up shit." Zetsubo stated his disliking to janitors.
"He wasn't just a janitor; he was also known as Grandpa Roo who was the most kindhearted man in the world. He cared for this school more than anything along with the students and staff members as if we were his own family." Kibo mentioned.
"He used to be a great Huntsman until he suffered a terrible accident that caused him his Huntsman life, but he never gave up as he continued to live hoping to guide the next generation into becoming great Hunters." Kibo explained.
"Oh really, then why didn't he bother with becoming a teacher?" Kibo asked.
"He was never really into teaching and prefer to doing things than telling others what to do, so the janitor was the best he could do, and he made it into something he could be proud of as he interacted with everybody here even the headmaster himself. He did everything he could to help us in any way possible, even growing to becoming like a grandfather to most." Kibo explained as he helped close Grandpa Roo's eyes.
"And now you're going to pay for taking this man's life away!" Kibo turned around and glared fiercely at Zetsubo with rage.
"Fine then, let that old man's death be your fuel for strength as I crush it!" Zetsubo taunted.
(Pyrrha vs Penny)
Pyrrha with her weapon as a long spear twirling around and clashing against Penny's swords as defense while holding her own well against the red-haired champion, and even managed to push her back.
"My word! What a tremendous display by Miss Polendina!" Port amazed.
Pyrrha was very surprised to see how much skill this Penny girl has, guessing she must be one of the top students in the first-year category and really good in combat too.
Pyrrha looks over to her team all giving out their cheers to her, but she also notices that Ren is gone, not knowing about the danger that happens to her.
"Come on, Pyrrha! End this fight quick and show her why you're the awesome one!" Jaune shouted.
"The awesome one?" Nora was puzzled of that title.
"What? You don't think it's cool?" Jaune asked.
Pyrrha smiles, feeling grateful that her boyfriend is cheering and goes back into the fight.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Oh boy, Kibo and the others better do something quick because if Pyrrha ends up using her Polarity Semblance on Penny then it's gonna go down on what the bad guys want. But Kibo needs to survive his first fight against a guy who somehow fights with Hokuto Ryuken and shows more to be a match for the Fist of the North Star!
