Okay, I'd like to apologize for the long wait on this one. I've been doing projects with friends and on my own that I've pushed a lot of my stories back constantly. Due to one of my friends going to a family reunion next week, the projects will be on hold so I'm going to focus on other stories for a bit. Please enjoy this chapter, also fair warning, I don't know how long this chapter will be.

The first year students gathered around the gentle half giant as he called to them. Daphne, Tracy, Hermione, Susan and Hannah looked at their newly acquired friend and frowned at the hardened expression crossing his face before Susan spoke, "Are you alright, Harry?"

Harry sighed as he frowned and shook his head, "I don't know...my mother is the muggle study teacher, my father is the Defense teacher and I just know they're going to find a way to make my school experience hell." the five frowned as Harry shoved his hands in his pockets, "The only good thing is that I'm apparently the Heir of the Founders, so hopefully that'll help get me sorted into a separate house from those idiots," the others nodded as they continued to follow the group.

The first year students entered the Great Hall and looked around in amazement, "Welcome First Years, if you will be patient, we will get you sorted into your proper House and then we will start the feast," a witch standing in front of the Head Table spoke, "My name is Professor McGonagall, I am the Deputy Headmistress and Head of the Gryffindor House," Harry looked past the old with and narrowed his eyes at the sight of his parents smiling at his twin brother, "Now when I call your name, you are to come up and be seated while the Sorting Hat will be placed on your head," the first years nodded and waited as the witch held up a parchment and called out, "Abbot, Hannah," Hannah slightly smiled as she pushed past the others and over towards the Head Table before sitting on the stool next to the witch as the Deputy Headmistress placed the hat on her head.

Everyone watched with anticipation as the hat whispered into Hannah's ear before shouting, Hufflepuff!" the Hufflepuff table cheered as the hat was removed and Hannah walked over to her new table and sat down as the sorting continued.

"Longbottom, Neville," Neville smirked as he proudly walked up to the Head Table and sat down before the hat was placed on his head.

"Hmm, I see you're an arrogant one, you and another in this school who hasn't been sorted yet," Neville swallowed as the hat's words whispered in his ear, "You're not very loyal, and when it comes to intelligence, well it's safe to say Ravenclaw wouldn't be welcoming you, and neither will Hufflepuff, so let it be...Slytherin!" the Slytherin Table cheered as the hat was removed and Neville walked over to his table in defeat while many of the teachers whispered amongst themselves.

Lily looked at the Headmaster and spoke, "Albus, what's going on? Neville is a good kid, you know it, he and Henry should be in Gryffindor for defeating the Dark Lord,"

"I know, Lily and I will speak to the Sorting Hat before the feast to see why he placed young Neville in Slytherin," Lily nodded before turning back around.

"Potter, Harry," James and Lily frowned as they watched as Harry walked past the crowd and sat down as the hat was placed on his head.

"Ah, young heir," the hat whispered in his ear, "I see you're new friends with the two girls I placed in Hufflepuff and the two I put into Ravenclaw,"

"You know I'm the Heir to the founders?"

The hat chuckled, "That's one of the many perks about my position, no matter how hard you try," Harry frowned, "And I can see you haven't been treated fairly between you and your brother and that Longbottom boy,"

"Yeah, my family, Sirius, Remus, and Neville's parents treat them like they're God and I get treated like trash," the hat slightly frowned, "So where are you going to-"

"Ravenclaw!" Hermione and Daphne smiled and clapped as their new friend stood up and walked over to the table as Susan and Hannah slightly smiled and clapped as well.

"Potter, Henry," Henry walked over to the Head Table and sat down as the hat was placed on his head.

"Ah, the second half of the arrogant duo," the hat whispered.

"How dare you! I'll have you know that I-"

"I don't care much for your life story, let's just see where you'll be spending the next seven years," the hat grumbled, "You're only loyal to the Longbottom boy, so Hufflepuff is out of the question, you do not thirst for knowledge, so Ravenclaw won't do...you believe you're brave, simply because you harass your twin brother on the daily...Slytherin!"

"Absurd!" James shouted as he stood up and everyone looked at him, "No one in my family has ever been sorted into Slytherin, there must be some mistake an-"

"I assure you, I don't make mistakes Professor Potter, I simply put students in the house where they best fit, and this boy and the Longbottom boy have the qualifying traits of a Slytherin while being completely absent of traits of the other Houses, so let me continue with my job and you will sit back down and respect my decision," James growled under his breath before sitting down.

The old wizard looked at him and assured him, "It's okay, James, we can have them resorted after the feast an-"

"You know the consequences of doing that, Headmaster," the hat spoke, "If they try to be resorted, their original House will not take them back and if the other Houses reject them, they will be expelled, and I already said that they have no traits to fit in any other House besides Slytherin," the teachers stared with wide eyes, "Now, let us continue before this night drags on for longer than it should," removing the hat from Henry's head, Henry huffed as he walked over to the Slytherin table and sat down next to Neville as the sorting continued.

"Weasley, Ronald," stepping forward and sitting on the stool, the hat was placed on top of his head.

The hat hummed and mumbled to itself, "I see...very well, let it be...Slytherin!" Ron's eyes widened before the hat was removed and he walked over to the table and sat by Henry and Neville.

The sorting soon ended and the students were enjoying the feast laid out before them. James and Lily frowned at their son and his friends sitting at the Slytherin table before looking towards the Headmaster and James spoke, "Albus what do you intend to do about this? The Saviors of the Wizarding World placed in Slytherin? Surely if you try to convince the hat to resort them, they will-"

"Most likely be expelled, James," Albus sighed as he shook his head, "I'm sorry, but if they truly lack traits of any other house and we try to resort them, Slytherin will reject them and forbid them from entering again and if all Houses reject them then they can't stay, so it's best to not worry about it and hope that they will remain on the right path," James and Lily sighed in defeat before they began eating.

Okay, I know this update is on the short side, I apologize, but I'm slowly getting back into writing the stories that I've put on hold for far too long and the updates will get longer, so for now please enjoy.
