I live in a very nice neighborhood in a very nice house, and a fairly large family. I'm the third out of seven children. Robert's the oldest he's 18 and Michael is 16. I'm 13, my younger brother Chris is 12, Darin is 7, Victoria is 5 and Autumn is 2.

My family isn't really rich, but we do make a fairly good life. My dad works as an electrician in a power company and mom's a stay-at-home mom. Robert's also gotten a job at the company.

Robert and Michael are quite fond of the hunger games. They're into video games and electronics, so they're big fans of the hunger games. They've been practicing survival and fighting for years for the hunger games.

My family all had breakfast before the reaping. It's Chris's first hunger game in the reaping, and I silently hope he won't be chosen. He really stands out from the family. Robert and Michael have short dark brown hair, me, Darin and Victoria have light brown hair, his is dirty blond shaggy. Though Autumn is starting to grow hair that's blond too. Dad's hair is black and mom brown/blond.

After eating I got ready for the hunger games, I had my hair worn down and worn straight. I put on a black top and black pants.

I walked with Chris to the reaping building, telling him about what goes on and about the blood sample. After they took mine, I went to join the other 13-year-olds. If Robert or Michael didn't get chosen, they'd volunteer.

As our escort Victoria Easton stood waiting. She wore a powder blue gown with a ribbon tied at the waist and chestnut hair with amber highlights.

"Morning district 5," she announced. "Welcome to the 111th hunger games."

She then announces our past victors. We have 5 victors, one of our oldest ones is Melissa Nygard victor of the 94th hunger games. She's famous for having killed most of the careers on the same night. Melissa was 16 during in the hunger games and she's now in her 30s. She has flowing red hair and wore a sparkling golden dress.

The video then played and Victoria went over to the glass bowl with the females.

"Celina Dzierson" she announced.

I went up on the stage.

Victoria then reached in the jar with the males.

I silently prayed it wouldn't be Chris.

"Michael Dzierson" she said.

Michael Dzierson D5 male POV

Robert and I have been excited for the hunger games all year. Ever since Robert was twelve, we've been practicing for if we got reaped into the games. We've practiced survival and fighting and played video games.

We share the same room together. We got changed for the hunger games and talked excitedly. Robert's 18 so it's his last year in the games. He and I hope one of us get selected.

We walk to the reaping building with Celina and Chris. The four of us get our blood samples and I go to the sixteen-year-olds section. Victoria Easton steps up and plays the video and lists our victors.

Afterwards she reached into the glass bowl with the females.

"Celina Dzierson" she announced.

I was quite surprised for Celina to step up.

Victoria then reached into the males jar.

"Michael Dzierson" said Victoria.

I confidently walked up to the platform and joined Victoria and Celina.

"Are you two related?" Victoria asked interestedly.

"We're siblings" replied Celina.

"Well then," said Victoria enthusiastically. "It's going to be a very interesting game."

I smiled excitedly; I was determined to come home the winner.
