The Starlight Kimono

Jason looked around at the many creatures before him. He liked Turtles so he didn't find Othello and his brothers scary. There were rumors of a Fox Girl running around New York but that wasn't scary either. Here he was looking at a bunch of intimidating Mutants as Xever had explained.

There was even a goat man that looked intimidating with his Warrior like aura and armor. This one Baron Draxum was apparently the creator of all the Mutants. And if he could become one. No one would ever push him around. Or screw with him ever again. But there was still one stupid question that wouldn't leave his mind for whatever equally stupid reason. As Kendra said. He was always asking stupid questions. "Can, you Mutates Potatoes into Cream Corn?" Jayce asked before flinching. Fortunately, no hitting came. He just looked up at Baron Draxum who was smirking down at him.

"Of course I can. With my Power I could make the greatest Cream Corn Mutant. This Putrid Human City has ever seen! FEAR KING CORN YOU FOOL HUMANS WOULD SHRIEK IN TERROR!" he declared vigorously.

"Yes, but that's not why we're gathered here." Said a new voice. Coming out was a large Komodo Dragon Man. He walked right up to Jayce who squeaked. But the Lizard Man merely handed him a jar with one of those strange Mosquitoes. Jayce took it out of fear of what would happen if he didn't.

"This is the Key to evolution my Boy. Let this bite you and all your Dreams will come true." King Komodo

"I….I….Need to….think about It….But I'll take it with me." Jason muttered fearfully.

"Very well. I'm confident you'll make the right choice." King Komodo said as Jayce nodded as he went to leave.

"Don't expect this to work." Draxum said to King Komodo. "Fossil's don't have enough viable DNA for my Ooze to work with."

"It worked on the Lunch Meat." King Komodo shrugged.

"Yes, but only because the DNA was still intact. That's why the Mutant Meat Sweats as able to Mutate as well. But Rock doesn't have DNA unless it's type of Yokai." Draxum warned. "What will you do if the supplementary DNA you decided to try from one of your Human Movies. Is the only one that interacts with it?"

"Then I look for another way." King Komodo replied simply.

"What are you trying to do?" Draxum asked with an arched eyebrow.

"Evolve again…" King Komodo replied.

"There you guys are! Anything!?" April asked.

"No." Leo huffed putting his arm over a sobbing Mikey. Making sure to avoid Klunk who was trying to comfort him on his shoulders. "And we were out all night. Me and Mikey need sleep." He grunted leading Mikey away.

Donnie and Lizzie, the only ones who had gotten sleep last night. Noticed that Krysta had long since gone. It had been just April and Mayhem. Who were waiting for the search party to return all night. Raph had been held up in his room. Thankfully it was still Sunday, and she had no Homework. But she did have a field trip Tomorrow. Defeated, she headed topside to sleep in her own bed.

Shelldon looking worried tried to turn the TV to break the tension. However, what immediately came on was a New Story. "I'm Carly Balamaceda and This Mornings top news story. Recently admitted to the Museum of Natural History is this Beautiful Starlight Kimono from the Yamato period in Japan. Sits in the Hall of Asian Peoples. And will official be part of the exhibit starting Monday when the Museum opens at Nine AM eastern standard time."

Everyone was in awe of how beautiful the Kimono was. It had purple rims with some larger angles. And Belt with a large star in the middle. The Purple parts were speckled with pastel colors. Like starlight. The rest of the Kimono was a large star as if coming from the one on the belt with layers of golds. And the hints of shades of orange towards the edge.

But they weren't the only ones watching.

With Kitsune, Bebop and Rocksteady…

"Archaeologists are baffled on how this beautiful Kimono looks as pristine and fresh. As the Day it would've been made." The TV Continued.

"Mystic Energy. And a lot of it." Bebop noted. "I can totally smell it from here."

Rocksteady turned to the sound of Kitsune coming in and gasping at the sight. She had even tropped her Teacup. "Uhhh?"

"You two!" She barked making Bebop jump and turn around. Both Saluting her. "Get ready to steal that Kimono!"

"How many Tails do you think you can get from that thing?" Rocksteady asked interested.

"This isn't for that." Kitsune said in a low voice.

With Big Mama and Frida….

"Scientists have also detected an energy of unknown origin. Coming from the Kimono. The theory being perhaps this is why. It is in such pristine condition."

"Kitsune will be after that Kimono. We have to steal it away. Before she can get it. I'm giving one last chance. Do not Fail me, Frida. You know what the consequences will be if you do." Big Mama said looking coldly at Frida

Frida in her assassin outfit. Nodded. She was grateful for the mask. To hide the fear of failure. And could use her voice to exude more confidence than she felt. "Yes Mother!" she declared before heading off.

It was about lunch time the next day. Mikey just spent the whole time they went to get lunch ranting about everything to his brother. Leo listened, he knew Mikey needed to Vent and Raph was more interested in the Nexus Hotel. And right now Donnie was busy trying to track down, that Jason guy as was Tiger Claw. April was at school. Which left him. "Then it was just tell! Don't tell! I decide to tell and then all that happens!" Mikey groaned. "It wasn't supposed to be like that!" Mikey screamed almost throwing the Pizza he was carrying into the air. Leo kept an eye on it. "And now Jason think's I only pretended to be his friend to hurt him!" He muttered in a defeated tone. "How hurt does he have to be believe that?"

"Oh, I've got an idea, that'll make me your favorite brother! I can portal to him instantly when we get these home. What do ya think?" Leo asked.

"Yeah let's- Look!" Mikey said, pointing as best as he could without letting go. "It's Frida!"

"What she up to?" Leo asked as he opened a Portal home and put the Pizza's inside. Texting the others quickly. They began shadowing Frida who was running across the rooftops. Being as silent as they could and keeping their distance. They saw her heading towards the Museum. She pulled out a couple of devices. They began to fly around and began scanning the building's various entrances. Windows, doors, vents, anything that one could possibly squeeze through.

"Why is she so interested in the museum?" Leo asked.

"I don't know, but it looks like Kitsune, Bebop and Rocksteady have a similar idea!" Mikey said pointing to them off in the distance. They were using similar devices. Frida saw Kitsune's began discreetly blasting them out of the air. There was shouting as Leo immediately opened a portal and he and Mikey rushed inside.

"Guys! Frida, Kitsune, Bebop and Rocksteady are sniffing around the Museum of Natural History! They're probably fighting each other right now!" Leo called.

"Why though? And why didn't you stop them?" Raph asked. Half confused, half irritated.

"Because Its Pizza time!" Leo replied pulling himself out a Creepy Supreme Piece and biting into it as the worms called out. "EAT US WE ARE DELICIOUS!"

"Maybe there's an artifact at the Museum?" Tiger Claw asked. "The Museum of Art and Framing did have a piece of the Dark Armor in the Egyptian exhibit."

Donnie swallowed his mouthful of Creepy Supreme pizza. "Well, the only new thing of note there. Is that weirdly pristine Kimono."

"Didn't they say it had unknown Energy? I bet most people don't know about Mystic energy." Lizzie pointed out. "Only Carol, April and Casey cause they're special."

"That's exactly right…." Tiger Claw muttered.

"Donnie give April a heads up." Raph said as the Tiger Mutant took off.

"Uh huh!" Donnie said in a mouthful.

"Everyone else suit up!" Raph declared. But soon he turned he saw everyone ignoring him in favor of eating their pizza. Then there was the other Creepy supreme pizza worms. All looking at Raph and chanting.

"EAT US! PLEASE EAT US! PLEASE EAT US, PLEASE EAT US!"

And finally, Raph's stomach growled. "Fine Suit up after we eat lunch." Raph muttered eating a piece of Pizza himself.

"Starlight Kimono?" April asked as Sunita and Dale looked over her shoulder. "You think the Bad Guys are gonna steal it? Can Krysta help us?" Sunita asked.

"Not until after her shift at Run of the Mill." April sighed as Mayhem poked his head out of his backpack. He managed to maneuver himself to look at her Phone. Showing the mysterious Garment. "But right all we can do is recon."

"Hey phones away!" Dale hissed at them. "The Tour's about to start." Mayhem making sure Dale didn't see him pulled his head back into his bag.

"Alright Class. Today we will be dipping our toes in the wonderful, bloody saga that is world history!" said the teacher with half genuine enthusiasm. "Keep up and take notes. There will be a quiz later." He said as the students kept up.

April noticed they kept going right past the Hall of Asian People's she also could've sworn she saw a gold light coming from it. "Uhh Mr. Ross, I was really looking forward to the Hall of Asian Peoples. Any chance we're doing that first?"

"O'Neil we will work our way there. You've waited this long. We will start with the Titanic Section first. Now everyone grab a name from the attendant. You will roleplay that person and learn about them. And see whether or not they died a slow, horrible, lung-inflating, choking, frigid, death." Mr. Ross replied.

"Mr. Ross how come the Titanic didn't have enough Lifeboats?" Sunita asked, a bit disturbed by the description.

"Insurance." He replied simply as they entered. The group followed their names all the way to the end.

"My Guy got crushed by the Smoke tower!" Dale groaned.

"I lived! April?" Sunita asked.

"Fish Food." April huffed. "She was doing so well to." She then gasped looking at who was across the end of the exhibit. "IT'S BEBOP AND ROCKSTEADY!"

The two interns hissed in shock. "It's April O'Neil!" Bebop in his human form as a disguise hissed.

The three then proceeded to glare at each other. Their eyes wide to watch each other so intently. They practically squished each other's faces together growling ferally as if waiting for an excuse to strike.

"O'NEIL! Stop glaring aggressively and knowingly at the unpaid interns! They have more important things to worry about." Mr. Ross shouted.

April huffed backing down as the two mocked her giving her raspberries to her back. She had to let it go. However, they gasped as they saw. A familiar Blue haired girl and an Asian man with tied back hair going into the Asian People section as April happily blew a Raspberry back at them. She was also joined by Mayhem.

Krysta and Tiger Claw entered the Asian Peoples exhibit and looked around for a bit before feeling the radiant cloth. They turned to see the Kimono sitting in the center. Casting a golden orange tinted light upon the rest of the exhibit. "Wow that's quite the Kimono." Tiger Claw whistled. Krysta turned to it and got closer to it.

"The Lights really warm. Kind of like Mikey. Also feels like being around a Star Crystal." Krysta noted. She then heard something. She turned too see the Girl who called herself Erika Mishima running down an authorized personal entrance.

"I wonder…." Krysta muttered as she waved Tiger Claw over to follow her. They followed Erika making sure they weren't caught. They watched as Erika suddenly used a Kama to carefully cut open the Power Box. "It is her!" Krysta muttered. They watched as Frida changed back into her regular outfit. Mask and all. "Lizzie called her sister…..does that Frida is-"

"Are you in place?" came Frida's voice confirming everything.

"Yeah, Yeah, how long do we have to stand like this?" Groaned a voice that Tiger Claw recognized from the communication Crystal.

"I know one of those clowns!" Tiger Claw hissed at a low volume.

"Until I give the signal!" Frida barked. "You've only done this like a million times."

"We can do more than just be your little Lap Dogs." Lenard snapped

"Well, that's what you are right now. I need to act as quickly as I can. And get the Kimono before Kitsune! So shut up and do your jobs!" Frida barked venomously as she placed a charm on the electric box. There was a bit of sparking that flashed the lights.

"Guard the Kimono I'll go after the Mud Dogs." Tiger Claw hissed as Krysta rushed back out the way they came. Tiger Claw on the other hand went out to another exit he saw nearby. He sniffed the air and picked up on their stench immediately.

Krysta rushed back into the exhibit. As she did. The lights immediately went out. She was now illuminated, only the light of the Kimono. The star sky patterns looking alive in the dark. "Ooh!" she gasped only to hear screaming as she changed back and stood in front of the Kimono her ears twitching constantly for any sign of Frida.

Everyone yelped in surprise by the Power Outage. And Bebop and Rocksteady had immediately made their move! As Purple orbs began rolling around trapping Mr. Ross and the rest of the students as Mayhem immediately teleported her and Sunita away.

They found themselves on the second floor. Overlooking Bebop and Rocksteady having the orbs float up to the ceiling of the Museum.

"We gotta get to that Kimono! And if we drive them off it'll hopefully free everyone." April hissed.

"I'm sure Mikey and Lizzie could free them too!" Sunita added.

"How? And who are they?" Said a new voice making them freeze. And slowly turn to the source of the voice. It was Dale. They saw Mr. Ross floating up by them.

"THEY DON'T PAY ENOUGH FOR THIS! THEY DON'T EVEN PAY ENOUGH FOR ANYTHING!" Ross cried.

"What's going on?" Dale asked nervously.

"DALE!" April yelped. There is a very good explanation for why all of this is happening! But right now we need to hide. Perferbly in different spots!" April shouted pushing Dale in the other direction. She and Sunita headed off towards Where Bebop and Rocksteady were.

Dale meanwhile saw a light over in his direction. "Oohh maybe help!" he gasped as he rushed over. He immediately entered the room to see a Mask Assassin and a Fox Girl fighting.

They were rolling across the ground. Krysta fighting off the Kama as she had grabbed the other one and slashed it at Frida's face. Only to for her to dodge and then slug her across the face in retaliation.

"Wait….." Dale muttered slowly recognizing the Fox Girl. The grunting, the clothes and hair. "Krysta?!"

"DALE!?" Krysta yelped in surprise as they stared at each other. Krysta realized what she did. "I Mean who!?"

"You're bad at this!" Frida snarled throwing her into the wall with a kick. She then got up and smashed the case on the Starlight Kimono. She reached for it. Krysta had pulled herself back up and rushed to it. However, Dale had suddenly thrown a helmet at Frida who growled as she turned to the Human boy.

With a burst of speed, she grabbed Dale who squealed in fear. However, the Mystic Tech Bo came spinning into the room crashing into Frida knocking her into the ground.

"Nailed it!" Donnie said posing to take a selfie.

"I know you!" Dale gasped, pointing at Donnie. "You're that student Teacher with the weird green skin and no hair!"

"No, I'm not! IT's uhhhh uhhh a semi rare skin condition…. I have a triplet…..that's identical but the other is fraternal….." Donnie poorly lied as everyone else glared at him even Krysta from across the room and Frida from under her mask. "Ugh Fine! I enrolled myself in April's school. The students learn a lot from me in the Medical Magnet Program." He said haughtily.

"YOU WHAT?!" Raph barked only for Frida to start blasting at them. She kicked Krysta down who froze her feet after she had snatched back the stolen Kama. She used a burst of energy to get her feet loose.

"I have enough of this!" She snarled charging at the turtles who got into fighting stances as Dale took off diving into a nearby basket.

She swung her Kama at Leo who opened a portal causing her to smack herself in the face with them. She checked her mask it seemed fine. But little did she know. There was a hairline fracture.

April and Sunita had gotten the jump on Bebop and Rocksteady. Who had lit up the room and were going after the Starlight Kimono. She had exploded on them making them freak out as April summoned two bats to swing and slack into both of them.

The two went tumbling back from the force as Sunita in her true form and April jumped down beside each other striking a pose back-to-back. Arms crossed and looking at their opponents.

"Can't we get one Day where we can do evil in peace!?" Rocksteady growled.

Since Mayhem had brought it to her. April pulled out her bat from her bag. Almost like a Magic trick. As the Yokai jumped on top of her head. And tapped her bat into her open palm. "What do you think?" she jokingly asked. As she threw it with a mighty spin at the two. They dodged out of the way. But it came back and swung into Rocksteady who got Dizzy and Bebop charged and jumped into the air rearing back his bronze knuckles. And lacing them with Mystic energy.

Mayhem teleported her out of the way as Sunita begam a slime on the floor for his hand to slip on. He landed with a thud on his side.

Rocksteady charged into his diamond hide. She remained in liquid form and quickly got between him and April. "NO NOT ME TOO!" he yelped as he went sliding and screaming, arms flailing.

Sunita quickly pulled herself together as Bebop threw a freezing spell at her. April batted it back at them. The two yelped and dodged out of the way. As it froze one of the Exhibits. Mayhem teleported them into the air and made them fall with a thud.

Frida had managed to grab Donnie's Tech-Bo out of his hand while she couldn't activate the Mystic Powers, she was able to get the Rocket extension going and slammed both him and Mikey. She turned on Lizzie. Shielding herself from her Makibishi. Frida then swung it at the small Reeves turtles. But Lizzie dodged the Rocket then looked right at Frida.

Recognizing her. Tears welled up in her eyes. "Frida?!" Lizzie gasped. Frida found herself frozen. Why couldn't she attack. She was just staring at Lizzie! Feeling guilty.

"Come on you have to attack! If you fail to get that Kimono!" Frida shouted at herself.

"Lizzie move!" Raph shouted she gasped both turned. Lizzie yelping and pulling herself into her shell as Frida bent back. Managing to dodge the punch just barely. However, as she rolled out of the way. Chains emerged from the ground and tangled around Frida. She thrashed as she could sense Leo and Mikey rushing over. She charged up as much energy as she could. Managed to burst off the chains and knocked both Leo and Mikey back.

She picked up her Kama and began swinging wildly as Krysta and Mikey tried to come in with a fire and Ice Ninjutsu combo. She used her energy to deflect the two elemental attacks. She then dodged another blow from Donnie's Rocket extension. And destroyed the two Mystic Missiles he had lost.

Leo jumped down as the two began to parry against each other's weapons. Leo was speedily swinging and rapidly slashing at Frida. Making her cross her weapons. Seeing this Leo used one of his Katana's to knock her arms up. Then he swung his leg and knocked her into the Basket Dale was hiding in Frida blasted the part that landed on top of her and rushed with a scream. Dale on the other hand was staring traumatized at the side of the basket he happened to fortunately not be on.

She jumped up and slammed down unleashing a burst of energy before slamming her fist into Leo's cheek knocking him into Lizzie. Then Grabbing Krysta and Mikey as they tried to charge her and threw them into Donnie and Raph. She rushed over to the Kimono only for a poof of light to appear above them.

Slamming down between her and the Kimono were April, Bebop and Rocksteady. "Where do you Idiots come from!" she shouted, blasting everyone making them fly into the ceiling with a splat. However, April quickly dove down from above as she was about to grab the Kimono.

"Aprilll O'Neiiill!" she hissed determinably. Then grabbing Frida from the shoulders as she landed back on the ground and threw Frida away from the Kimono as Sunita and Mayhem jumped away from the falling Bebop and Rocksteady who failed as she summoned mystic specter bats. "BAM!" she shouted using two large ones to send the two Mutant brothers across the room one way. And the now charging Frida across the other slamming her into the wall. As she slammed there was a crack in her mask that everyone gasped at.

Except for Lizzie. When Frida groaned holding her head. She felt something shift around in the palm of her hand she gasped. It was bits of her mask. She looked up realizing that the Turtles now had full view of her face. Her hideous diamonds and all.

"COWABOY Did not see that coming!" Leo declared.

"OMIGOSH!" Mikey cried out.

"She's the Seventh Turtle?!" Raph shouted.

"GASSSSSPPPPPIINNNNNNNNGGG!" Donnie shouted Spastically as Frida pulled her hood down over her face as much as she could.

"Frida wait!" Lizzie called, watching her go. And blast a bunch of debris into the air with her powers. Lizzie was still as confused and saddened as when she sensed her. Lizzie hung her head as Donnie continued. Only for a small fire ball to hit him upside the head.

"Do you mind! I am trying to process a crazy revelation!" Donnie shouted at whoever threw it. His eyes got wide with fear when he saw that. Coming down from above was Kitsune. The Power now coming back on thanks to Tiger Claw who gasped when he saw who was in there with them. He began rushing inside. Passing Frida who was hiding her face.

He turned surprised but she was already gone.

Kitsune picked up a nearby. Katana and twirled it around expertly in her hands. Watching Leonardo carefully. She smirked and waved to him.

"Leo no!" Krysta shouted but Leo had already charged with both of his Katanas blocking the Blade that came down and swinging with the other arm. However, Kitsune blocked the other blade with simply her free hand.

Then used her sword to twist and flex Leo's out of his hands before jumping back and ducking under Leo's desperate counterattack and kicking him in the gut making him fall backwards. She grabbed his sword. "So sloppy, let me show you a fun trick!" she said crossing her arms to make his sword and her own like Scissors.

"LEO!" everyone else shouted. Only for Tiger Claw to appear and grab both blades. Blood oozed a bit from his Paws but he quickly headbutted her. Grabbing Leo's sword back and handing it back to him.

Just as Donnie and Raph blinded sided Kitsune with a few blows that she dodged out of the way of.

"Tiger Claw!" Leo gasped, noticing his paws.

"I'm fine!" Tiger Claw said. "Focus on the fight."

Lizzie threw a bunch of Makibishi. Kitsune was stumbling back, being hit with several and cycling through the status damage. She deflected the rest with her magic. And her own markings started glowing a sinister emerald green. "ENOUGH!" she shouted, blasting everyone with that magic. Lizzie looked around to see everyone with glowing eyes stunned and not moving.

"What did she do!?" Lizzie gasped. She turned to see the witch staring down in enraged shock.

"How are you immune!?" she snarled. Lizzie stood her ground spreading her arms out to protect her family and friends.

"Do not be afraid."

"Who's there?!" Lizzie gasped in her thoughts.

"Family…."

"KARAI!" Kitsune snarled sensing her presence as Karai appeared above Elizabeth. She mind-melded with her granddaughter. And together the two unleashed a burst of green and pink energy that shattered through the Fog that Kitsune had put up.

The Yokai shrieked in pain. Falling to her knees trying to stop herself from throwing up. She glared trying to charge energy as everyone came too from her illusion. "You Wretched-"

PANG! Dale had thrown an iron rosary in the side of Kitsune's head. "That should make you feel worse!" Dale shouted. Only for Kitsune to turn healing the blood pooling at the side of her head. And snarling her pupils slitting. Only When used in Tandem!" she growled only for an orange light to light up the room.

She looked down and gasped. Mikey had used his powers to create a certain rune. "This is-"

"Yup and if I activate it your powers are gone for good Chica!" Mikey growled.

Kitsune growled but flinched from her broken illusion. Bebop and Rocksteady had sent out a bunch of Smoke bombs. When the smoke cleared the two were gone with Kitsune. Karai had left as well.

"Good bye….." Lizzie muttered in awe.

"Don't worry Kitsune! You're not the only one hurt by Religion!" the group had suddenly heard Rocksteady's voice down the hall.

"Those two are two halves of a whole weirdo I swear…." Krysta groaned, exhausted.

"Uhhh guys…." They all turned to Dale.

"Is someone going to explain…." He began before gesturing to all of them and the room and the Kimono which lay untouched fortunately on the floor. "This whole Situation."

Everyone shrieked in horror as Dale now knew their secret. "YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE SPECIAL!" Lizzie screamed spastically.

Frida hung her head low. She had no choice but to report her failure. "I do know Kitsune failed to get the Kimono as well. So-"

"That is not the point!" Big Mama shouted at her. "The point is you failed to bring it here! And the Turtles have seen you! They now know who you are!" she shouted. Frida couldn't say anything. Just hang her head lower at this fact. Trying to hold back her tears of shame. Big Mama pinched her nose bridge. "I knew that you weren't meant to replace Tiger Claw! I knew that this was a bad idea from the start! But NOOOOO I had to give in to your ludicrous fantasy! You need to spend three days in your room without meals to reflect. On what your place is! What you were warned and how to look, act think and Be a True Woman!"

"Yes mother," Frida muttered shamefully. Placing her Kama's down on Big Mama's desk before retreating to her room where she placed her assassin outfit on the tray left for her to be burned. She was glad she didn't have to watch that. What she did know was that the sun was setting outside her window. She reached for the light. Her light, her identity. But it quickly ducked away under the skyscrapers. Frida pressed her head against the window and began to quietly sob. Who was she without being Big Mama's assassin?

This kind of feels like a mid-season finale but honestly unlike Aftermath Others will have around the same number of Chapters as Prodigy. Either way I'm proud of this. Also I kept how the pattern looks vague since I'm probably gonna change it in the future
