Chapter 26

(Space)

After traveling through hyperspace during the night. The fleet emerged at their destination which was the Forest Moon of Endor. Which looked peaceful as the ships settled themselves in orbit above the moon.

Once this was done, numerous ships exited from the Star Destroyers and Mon Cala Cruisers and made their way down to the surface. While some of the Droid Starfighters went on patrol to keep a lookout for any intruders.

One of the ships that made its way down was Jaina, who departed from the Venator in one of the Jedi Starfighters.

Before leaving, Padme had asked her to bring their family to the Guardian later, as she was going to cook a big feast for her family and fellow time travelers. Jaina said she would do this after her parents, uncle, and aunt first met the other time travelers.

(Endor)

Touching down in an open area where some of the other ships landed including the Falcon. Jaina exited her fighter and walked over to it.

There she found her parents, brothers, Tenal, Tahiri, and Ahsoka waiting outside. Who saw her as well, which caused Han and Leia to hug Jaina for a bit.

"So, I take it Uncle Luke and the masters are getting the service ready?" She asked her parents who said yes to this, then led the way there. As they walked, Jaina noticed someone was missing.

"Where's Lando?" She wondered.

"He's catching up with my old friend, who arrived here days ago. Lando wanted to see how his mission was going. Then would bring him to join us," Han replied to Jaina, who nodded at this. Then went quiet as they walked through the forest.

Not too far away. Luke and several Masters were finishing putting together the four pyres for the service. Once they were done. Luke had the Masters find their places as the others started to arrive.

First were Mara, Ben, Threepio, Artoo, and Kira who kept her face covered at this time. They had come with Luke earlier and kept off to the side while he and others were working. But now took their positions in the front.

The next group was Streen, Kirana Ti, Cilghal, and the other masters and knights from Eclipse. Third was Kam and Tionne Solusar who were accompanied by the younger Jedi students.

Forth were the survivors from Myrkr who wore dark robes in honor of their fallen comrades. Behind them were Lando and Riku, who changed out of his yellow jumpsuit. And wore something clean for the service.

The final group was Han, Leia, Lando, and Riku. Who was soon joined by Jacen, Jaina, Anakin, Tenal, Tahiri, and Ahsoka who made their way to the front, where they joined Mara's group.

Once everyone was together, Luke stepped forward in front of the crowd and began his speech.

"I'd like to thank you all for being here today. As we honor those who died at Eclipse and Coruscant. But also, to the Jedi members who undertook a dangerous mission into Yuuzhan Vong territory, and gave their lives so their team would succeed," Luke stated somberly.

Those who knew about this mission nodded to this, while the younger Jedi and the others were curious about this. But decided not to ask anything at this time.

"And while things seem grim currently. We must be strong, not only for ourselves but for the galaxy as well. As its fate is in our hands," Luke added more positively.

Hearing this from their leader, teacher, and friend. The crowd nodded at his words. Then watched as several knights arrived carrying the three bodies of those who died at Eclipse and placed them on the three pyres.

Grabbing three large sticks of wood. Luke gave them to the knights, who then ignited them and set three of the pyres on fire. As for the fourth one, Luke did that one himself as he brought his torch down.

Afterward, Luke and the others watched in silence for some time as the fire burned away. Later on, the crowd started to mingle with each other while a few knights kept an eye on the fires to make sure they didn't spread.

Luke and Mara came over to their family where they each hugged Jaina. "We're glad to see you made it back," Luke told her. "Thanks, Uncle Luke, but there is an important matter we need to talk to you about," Jaina said with a determined look.

"We know honey, Ahsoka wants us to meet her group. But before we do that. I want you and your brothers to meet my friend," Han told his daughter, then gestured to Riku who came over with Lando.

"Kids this is Riku. He's the best parts dealer in the galaxy. Riku these are my kids: Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin," Han said as he made the introductions.

Smiling at the three young adults. Riku shook their hands with his four arms. "It's good to finally meet you three. Your dad said you are all skilled pilots, just like him. And brave like your mom," He said to the three Solos.

"Thank you, sir, our parents told us that you helped them on Tatooine. And we're grateful for this," Anakin told Riku gently.

"It was no problem, I owe your dad after he saved my life," Riku said to the oldest sibling, then saw Jacen speak next.

"Sounds like you two must have a history then?" "We do indeed. I'll tell you three about this later on," Han told the three.

"Your father's right, we have some other matters to attend to," Leia told Riku, who understood this as the Solos left with the Skywalkers and the droids. Kira soon followed them, while Ahsoka went off in a different direction.

Walking through the forest, Ahsoka took in the beauty of the moon as it seemed to go on forever.

"Ahsoka!" Stopping in her tracks, Ahsoka looked around to see who had said that. But saw no one. And yet said voice sounded familiar.

"That sounded like?" Ahsoka was saying to herself. Which made her wonder if what she heard was real, or a trick her mind was playing.

Soon though a new noise was heard, which got her attention as she walked over and saw Bo's fighter touch down nearby.

Walking over to the ship. Ahsoka saw the Bo, Juno, and Chewbacca coming out wearing cloaks to conceal themselves. However, Ahsoka didn't see the other four members of their group.

"Where's Rex, Padme, Kota and Starkiller?" She asked the group.

"Rex stayed behind to oversee the repairs on the Venator he was on. Kota wanted to meet Luke once we told them our story. Starkiller isn't much of a social person, and Padme is planning a big feast for us and her family later on," Juno responded calmly.

"(The General suggested that Juno act as our representative, given that she knows Leia along with myself)" Chewie added as he spoke up which made Ahsoka nod at this decision.

"And I came along as I need to get off the ship, after being in space for days. Also, it would be a good chance to meet with our allies," Bo stated as she went next.

"Sounds good, now let's go," Ahsoka said to the three, who followed her to their destination.

(Imperial Outpost)

Located two miles nearby was an abandoned Imperial facility, which had been built over twenty years ago when the Empire was on the Forest Moon.

This location had been discovered by the Rebel Alliance long ago after they drove Imperial forces off the moon. But they decided to leave it be, in the event they might need it.

Following their defeat their, the facility had been abandoned with certain areas such as the outer walls being covered in moss and vines. But other areas such as the insides of main building were still intact.

Following the Yuuzhan Vong's arrival. Luke had suggested using it as an emergency base in the event the enemy made their way to the Core Systems. And that time sadly had come following recent events.

Before leaving Tatooine, Leia, and Han had asked Riku to take the Soldiers and Dab to Endor. Where they could get the outpost ready for their arrival. Which Riku and the soldiers had done by removing the bushes and planets that had overgrown the entrance. And then got the machinery inside the base up and running. For which the Han and Leia were grateful for when they arrived.

Inside the debriefing room of the outpost. Luke's family waited for Ahsoka to arrive. As they were waiting, Jaina was introduced to Kira who welcomed her. Then asked her a few questions about her time with the old order. Which Kira was happy to tell her about.

Minutes later the door opened in which Ahsoka came in. And then everyone took their seats, while Kira decided to stay in the back to observe. And Artoo kept still at seeing his old friend again, who didn't look as old as he imagined her to be now.

"Master Skywalker, before we begin. There is something I have to tell you, yesterday when I told you about myself. There was one thing I left out," Ahsoka stated first, then pulled out her two lightsabers from her belt, and presented them to Luke.

Grabbing the two weapons, Luke inspected them for a bit, as did Mara, Leia, and Han who had questions already forming in their minds. Kira herself saw these, which confirmed her realization from last night.

"Ahsoka, are you saying that your!" Luke asked.

"Yes, I was a Jedi, one that served the Galactic Republic before it became the Empire. And while that occurred decades ago, and my appearance doesn't match my claims. There is a reason for that, which will be hard to believe but it's the truth," Ahsoka explained to him, then continued.

"I am a time traveler, one of nine pulled across time and space by powerful cosmic beings. Who sent us to aid you and your allies to fight against the Yuuzhan Vong,"

Once she was done, things went quiet in the room as Luke, Han, Leia, and Mara were trying to process this information. Threepio and Artoo were also shocked by this as well but kept quiet as they waited for their masters to speak. Kira felt the same as she wondered if what Ahsoka said was true.

"…That's quite a claim you have. And it that is hard to believe." Luke said breaking the silence. "But I must ask you if you have proof of your claims?" He asked next.

"He's right, I mean for all we know you could have taken those sabers from one of the Jedi killed by the Peace Brigade," Han added cautiously.

Hearing the doubt in their voices, Ahsoka knew would react like this. Which made her think of telling them the connection to Luke and Leia's father. Hoping that might make them believe her.

However before this could happen, a series of beeps were heard as Ahsoka saw a familiar-looking astromech droid come over to her. And started beeping a series of questions next.

At first, Ahsoka was surprised to see her old friend again. But then started to answer his questions. "Hello, Artoo…yes, it is me!... I know it's impossible…would you please calm down!" She asked the droid who did so after making a scene.

The adults who saw this wondered why Artoo acted this way. As did Threepio who came over to his counterpart.

"Artoo what has gotten into you? How do you know this woman?" Hearing this, Artoo saw everyone look at him. Which made him go quiet next.

"I can answer this. The reason he knows me is because we're old friends. And before anyone asks about this. Let me show you something that answers that and my claim from before," Ahsoka told everyone, then asked Artoo something. To which he beeped a reply back.

Then he rolled off to the side and activated his holoprojector that created a life-size image, that was off an old recording.

Everyone first saw a younger Ahsoka in different clothes as she used two different lightsabers against some training remotes that fired stun blots at her. While she managed to hit some of them, while a few hit her in the legs and arms which made Ahsoka groan in frustration.

"Hey now, no need to get mad there snips!" Someone said to Ahsoka who then came into view.

Everyone saw a tall man with dark brown hair and fair skin. He wore combat armor over a tunic, and a dark glove over his right hand. On his belt was a lightsaber that Luke and his family recognized, and made them realize who this man was.

"I'm sorry Master Skywalker, but I thought I could hit all the targets like you did as a Padawan," Ahsoka replied to her teacher.

Upon hearing this, the group was stunned by these words. Anakin Skywalker had a student who happened to be Ahsoka of all people!

This led to all kinds of questions forming in their minds. Minus Jaina who already knew this, but kept up a face so as not to draw attention.

The same with Kira who remained quiet as she heard Skywalker talk for a bit in the recording. Then heard a new voice which she recognized, causing a grin to form.

"I seem to recall that it took you several times to hit all the bolts at once!" Coming into view was a man who wore a similar outfit to Anakin's. But his were in different colors, and his face had a trimmed beard and hair.

"Okay, that did happen Obi-Wan. But what's the harm, I only told Ahsoka that to give her encouragement?" Anakin asked with an embarrassed look.

"That may be but remember telling fabrications can lead to trouble. Ahsoka, I hope you will try not to pick up Anakin's habit of telling tall tales,"

"I will keep that in mind, Master Kenobi," Ahsoka nodded to the man who smiled at this.

Luke was taken aback at seeing Obi-Wan Kenobi. Who looked more like a military leader and less like the hermit that Luke remembered him as. Which brought some tears to his eyes, which he wiped away. Then saw his son squirm a bit as his hands reached out at the image of Obi-Wan and Anakin.

Seeing this, Luke wondered if his son could sense that the men in the recording were his late grandfather. And the man he was named after. Which Luke took in as well, as it wasn't often he saw the two men together, back when they were Jedi.

His family felt the same as most had heard of Anakin Skywalker's time as a Jedi. Along with the stories of General Kenobi from the Clone Wars. Which made them start to believe that what Ahsoka said might be true.

"Okay, let's try this again Ahsoka. And this time, go at your own pace," Anakin said to Ahsoka who said yes to him. Then reactivated her sabers as the remotes came online again, which was the last part of the recording as it ended.

After this, Ahsoka looked over at the group who were at a loss for words. Then saw Luke compose himself as he got up and came over to Ahsoka. Where he asked her one question.

"Ahsoka, we have much to talk about,"

We've made it, after 25 chapters of waiting. Luke, Han, Leia, and Mara learn about the secret of time travel. Along with Artoo reuniting with his old friend and helping Ahsoka by showing that she was the student of Anakin Skywalker.
