Feeling the New Kind of Magic Within
"The first thing we should do is figure out where in Earthland we are exactly, he said that we need to join this Fairy Tail guild in order to get ready to fight this Black Wizard." Eizen pointed out the first thing of the agenda.
"Right, if only we have a map that tells us where we are." Eleanor agreed.
"Let's try going West from here, there's bound to be a town around here for us to stay for the night." Rokuro suggested.
"And what makes you think there will be anything in that direction specifically?" Velvet asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I just thought West would be a good direction to go to, and it reminded me of that one story I heard from some folks about a traveling monkey fighter who went on a big journey and fighting lots of strong demons." Rokuro explained.
"In other words, you just want to go West because you think there will be some strong fighters there that can give you a good fight." Velvet signed, realizing where Rokuro was going with this.
"Yep, that's about it." Rokuro smiled, not feeling ashamed to admit it.
"You really haven't changed a bit." Eleanor said with a deadpan expression.
"I say we need to find road path around here, that usually means there's a town at one end." Eizen suggested, considering how they used to travel back in the days.
"I think you're all missing something important." Magilou said.
"What do you mean?" Laphicet asked.
"Hello! If this is going to be a long travel when we're going to need food, some equipment for camping which I hate, and money which we clearly DON'T have!" Magilou pointed out the flaws in this group.
"Oh, I didn't think of that." Eleanor shocked.
"Eh, I'm sure we'll figure something out like we could go for hunting." Rokuro said, not being worried about their circumstances.
"Maybe for a while, but there will still be the issue of going into a town and finding an inn to stay for the night." Eizen pointed out.
"If only we have a map." Laphicet sighed, but he felt something off with his clothes like there is something inside that wasn't there before.
Laphicet shook his clothes for a bit until something fell down onto the grass and he looks down to see a folded piece of paper with a special emblem seal on it.
"A letter?" Laphicet picked up the letter and opened it.
"Where did that come from?" Velvet asked.
"It came from my clothes, but I never had this before until now." Laphicet said.
Laphicet opens the paper to see what this letter is about and his eyes widen that this is another bit surprise of a lifetime.
"Guys, this letter is from that God himself!" Laphicet alerted.
"What?! Are you sure it's him and not some damn prank from some random stranger who just happened to be passing by and saw us sleeping here." Magilou proclaimed.
"No, I don't think that would be the case." Velvet said.
"What does the letter say?" Eleanor asked curiously.
And so, Laphicet started reading the letter out loud for everyone around him to hear.
"Dear Laphicet, if you are reading this letter then that means you have arrived on Earthland and with your companions right now which I have made sure they would be close to you."
"Oh, Velvet and Laphicet were very close, indeed." Magilou chuckled with her signature grin. This causes Laphicet to blush.
"You're never going to shut up about that, are you?" Velvet asked with a glare which Magilou just responded with a tongue sticking out.
Laphicet began reading the letter again.
"I just wanted to let you all know that both you and Eizen are no longer Malaks but two human beings, and that you're also at the age of 15 though I decided to leave you in your current appearance because that seems like the most likely thing your friends would be able to recognize you as." Laphicet mentioned that part.
"Looks like you're stuck being a little squirt again." Rokuro laughed a little.
"I don't know, I actually kinda like Laphicet being this way. At least until his body starts to grow like a human." Velvet smiled.
"Me, a human being… That's something I never thought would happen and yet, it feels good like there is not that much difference between a Malak and a human." Eizen smiled at his new identity.
"(I still would have love to be a little taller than before.)" Laphicet thought exclaimed, and just continue reading the letter.
"Another thing to let you know is that you all have new magic powers that fit in this world. Magilou and Rokuro's magic are known as Holder Magic that requires a Mage to use an external source such as a Magic Items to do Magic. Such as their cards and swords which I enhanced them to help them with that." Laphicet read the interesting part.
"Rokuro's part would mostly be swords like the two on his back and has a special feature that can allow them to take in any elemental magic powered Lacrima for some extra power. And his magic is demonic to infuse into his swords." Laphicet mentioned.
"Now I wanna test them out." Rokuro smirked.
"(There's that scary look again.)" Eleanor thought sweat dropped.
"Magilou has access to all the elemental magic within her own body and use them without her cards, though it would be a little more chaotic and would be hard for her control fully without her cards." Laphicet read on Magilou's part.
"Uh, really now? This would be no different than what I was able to do before." Magilou shrugged.
"Wasn't that because you had Bienfu to help you with that? Because I seem to remember that you couldn't do a thing without him powering up those cards of yours." Rokuro recalled that Bienfu was the source of Magilou's power.
"Oh! You dare you wound a mighty witch with words like that!" Magilou exclaimed.
"Just saying because it's true." Rokuro shrugged.
"As for the rest of you, you'll be wielding magic powers that have been seen among this world for hundreds of years and almost everyone has forgotten about the teachings that is known as Lost Magic which are some of the most powerful forms of magic the world had ever seen though some are too powerful that can come at a great price." Laphicet read that part.
"Powerful magic with a huge cost! I really hope it's nothing serious!" Eleanor worried.
"Don't worry, there won't be any horrible side effects on any of you for I made sure of that." Laphicet read the next part.
"Oh, thank goodness." Eleanor sighed in relief.
"These magic powers are known as Slayer Magic that were made to fight against and slain specific powerful creatures such as Dragons, Demons, and even Gods themselves." Laphicet shocked upon reading that part.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold up! You mean to tell me that there was a specific power that can slay a God and we're just hearing about it now?!" Rokuro gasped.
"I guess anything is possible with powers that are different than one back in our old world." Eizen commented.
"If we had such a power then maybe we could have use it against Innominat." Eleanor said, thinking that maybe it would have been a little easier for them.
"For Eleanor, she will have a God Slayer Magic that connects you to your strong willpower that can be both calm and raging as the water itself. So, she will be a Sea God Slayer." Laphicet read.
"Oh my, I was not expecting that?! So, I now have the power of a Sea God?" Eleanor shocked as she looks down at her hands.
"I'm not really sure about the water part, I always thought Eleanor's element would be steel while that willpower or maybe something like having a heart of gold, so maybe a Gold God Slayer." Magilou shrugged.
"Hey, she would then become the perfect sparring partner for my swords." Rokuro smirked.
"Ah! I just realize that we could also make Eleanor give us an endless supple of gold so we can be rich beyond our wildest dreams!" Magilou gasped with money signs appearing on her eyes.
"Hearing each of your reasoning, I am SO glad that my power is water." Eleanor said. Not wanting to be dragged down into their weird ideas.
"For Eizen, he will have Earth Dragon Slayer Magic for his connection of his former life as a dragon and how his life was born from the very earth of the previous world itself which feels more fitting for him along with most of his moves are earth base." Laphicet read about Eizen's magic.
"Hmm, earth magic with the strength of a dragon. Yes, I approve of this and this time, I'll be the dragon who will protect his friends for good." Eizen smiled.
"Hey, hey, do you think you can make gold with that magic?" Magilou asked.
"I don't think it works like that." Eizen shot down the idea.
"For Velvet, her magic will be that of Devil Slayer Magic that is made for slaying demons along with the element I believe is also suited for her since she always had it throughout her journey of "Revenge" for now on, she will be a Fire Devil Slayer along with a little bonus I include which Velvet would notice once she concentrates." Laphicet read on about Velvet's magic.
"So, I'm a demon that slays demons once again. I guess it could've been something else." Velvet approved of this magic, but she wonders about what the God meant by this "Little Bonus".
"Okay, so that's almost all of us so far, now it's Laphicet's turn." Eizen said.
"I bet a Gal that his magic is Dragon Slayer magic since he did use to be a Dragon back then." Rokuro guessed.
"But he was also a God too, so maybe he'll get God Slayer Magic." Eleanor guessed as well.
"Maybe both." Magilou shared her guess.
"Actually, Rokuro's first guess just hit a high mark because my magic is Dragon Slayer." Laphicet revealed, shocking Eleanor and Magilou, and Rokuro smirks for being right.
"Says here that there are variation versions of certain magic powers like elements and all, so my magic is that of Silver Fire Dragon Slayer just like how you had the silver flames of purification." Laphicet read the others about his magic.
"Silver fire, I thought it was gonna be something like Paper Dragon Slayer." Rokuro said.
"How exactly would that even work at all?" Eleanor asked.
"I don't know, he had a lot of those paper cards in the past." Rokuro mentioned.
"Okay, so that's about everyone's magic." Laphicet said.
"Is there anything else about our powers we should know about?" Eizen asked, wanted to be exta sure.
"Oh, it also says that our Slayer magic can allow us to eat the elements that are our magic like fire, the earth itself, and water to not only refuel our magic but also grow stronger the more we eat. But we cannot eat the element we create from ourselves." Laphicet read the extra explanation.
"So, eating an outside source. Got it." Eizen nodded.
"I hope these magic powers will serve you well during your new life. And here's a map when you press your finger on the doodle of Magilou at the bottom right of this letter." Laphicet read the last part.
Magilou moved over to Laphicet to see this doodle of herself.
"Wow, he actually captured my good side." Magilou impressed.
"So, pressing that is gonna give us the map?" Rokuro asked.
Laphicet decided to put his finger on the doodle and then a scrolled-up item appeared out of the letter and into Laphicet's hand, and then a backpack-like bag came out as well.
Laphicet opens the map, and a 3-D magical display comes up showing the layout of the land they are standing on and the map shows our heroes they are within the land that is known as Fiore.
"So, this continent is known as Fiore. Sounds like a name with a lot of history." Eizen commented.
"This is one incredible map! I wonder if this map can show us the entire world!" Laphicet amazed.
"Could this map even show us some hidden, ancient ruins?" Eizen intrigued of this fine map.
"Hold on, before we try using this map for searching some old things, shouldn't we use it to find where Fairy Tail is?" Velvet pointed out their mission.
"Velvet's right, we need to take priority into finding this guild and become members of that guild." Eleanor agreed with Velvet.
"Okay, so, huh… Map, can you show us where Fairy Tail is?" Laphicet asked the map.
And then the map zooms into the landscape of Fiore to show that the one holding the map, which is Laphicet, is located and then a red line with an arrow moving through the land showing a town they have to go to first and then shows what appears to be some kind of big vehicle going to another town with a diamond-like arrow pointing down where Fairy Tail is.
"Okay, so the nearest town isn't that far from here." Laphicet said.
"But we have to take something that is called a "train" which I have no idea what that is." Eleanor said.
"Me neither, I've lived through a thousand years since our last adventure together, but I don't think this train was invented by back then either." Eizen was confused about this train thing.
"Guess we're gonna have to go there and see this train for ourselves." Velvet suggested.
"Hey, what's in that bag?" Eleanor asked.
Magilou looks inside and her eyes widen with shock and a smirk.
"No way, we're loaded!" Magilou held up what appeared to be a stack of paper.
"What is it?" Laphicet asked.
"I can only assume this is the money of this world, and this bag is full of it!" Magilou believed.
"Looks like the God was able to provide us some goods for our travels." Rokuro surprised.
"I wonder if we need to use money to travel on this train thing?" Laphicet asked curiously.
"We'll know when we get there." Velvet said.
"Hey, why don't we try using our new magic powers first, to at least know what we can do in action." Eizen suggested.
"Let me go first, the letter did say about my magic being demonic." Rokuro took out his two swords, Stormhowl and Stormquell.
Rokuro focused his mind on finding this new magic energy from within his body which didn't take long to feel it, his swords started bursting into black and white auras then threw them down for a slash that unleashes a shockwave slash attack of black and white together.
"Wow, that's actually a bit stronger than I expected. But I wonder about these Lacrima." Rokuro was impressed with this.
Magilou decided to go next as she snaps her fingers, and four cards appear floating around her one finger and they each burst into different elements of fire, earth, water, and air.
"This feels extra nice! I wonder about what else I can do!" Magilou chuckled.
"Let's find that out later. Now, I just need to summon water in front of me." Eleanor focused on bringing out water, it was a little hard for her at least until she remembered how it was to release power from her old world though the method was a little different.
And then a magic circle appeared in front of her, and a big but gentle stream of black-dark blue water came bursting out.
"I did it!" Eleanor smiled.
Eizen goes next by slamming his fist into the ground causing two large, spiked rock formations to pop out of the ground and hold up one hand which glows forming into a rocky dragon-claw and slash at those spikes breaking them into pieces.
"I can get use to this." Eizen smiled.
"Time for us then." Laphicet looked at Velvet who agrees with him.
Velvet lefts up her left arm and then it transformed into a familiar demonic form that everyone knows all too well, and then a black-red fire appears above the demonic hand.
"(Good to see you're still with me, old friend.)" Velvet thought smiled, then she thrust her demonic hand forward unleashing the large stream of the dark flame.
Laphicet took in a deep breath remembering the classic attack of a dragon.
"Silver Fire Dragon's Roar!" Laphicet unleashed his first fire breath attack, letting out the silver flaming attack out and leaving a path of burning destruction.
"Oh yeah!" Laphicet cheered.
"Looks to me like we're all checked out." Rokuro believed with a smirk.
"Yep, this crazy bunch just keeps getting crazier." Magilou smiled.
"Now, we are ready." Eleanor nodded.
"Let see what Earthland has to offer." Eize cracked his knuckles.
Laphicet and Velvet look at each other believing they are going to be okay as long as they have each other.
"HEY?! WHO THE FUCK TRIED TO BURN ME ALIVE?!" A random guy shouted in anger causing the group to flinch.

Laphicet and the others have learned they have now their own magic powers such as Eleanor with Water God Slayer, Rokuro's magic with swords (obviously), Magilou with elemental magic and her cards, Eizen with Earth Dragon Slayer, Velvet with Fire Devil Slayer, and Laphicet with Silver Fire Dragon Slayer. I also gave Velvet her demonic arm back because I think it's cool with her!
