Nyssa's POV

"Once we're close enough to Striker's lair I'll make my entrance" I explained to Livania, Moxxie, and Millie.

We were in the Wrath Ring and getting close to Striker's lair.

"Once Stolas is out of harm's way I'll start healing him" I finished.

Livania was close to tears now and it was heartbreaking to see her like that. Millie being the sweetheart she was placed a hand on top of Liv's and the wolf demoness shot the female imp a thankful glance.

"Alright, Nyssa we're close you might want to get ready to surprise that f**ker" Mox suggested.

I summoned my scythe and smirked.

"Oh I'm ready"

Stolas's POV

I was hurting all over and I felt my strength starting to fade. Striker had just tossed me onto one of his railroad tracks. And the damn imp was circling me like a damn predator.

"Well this has been fun but every good thing has to come to an end, shame you won't see your kid or precious she-wolf again"

That angered me.

"Don't you dare breath a word about my daughter or the woman I love" I hissed.

"Ooh," Striker chuckled before kneeling above me. "Finally hit a nerve huh?"

"I swear if you go anywhere near them I will destroy you"

And that was a promise. I was then stabbed again by his knife and my breathing became labored. Striker smirked before prepping to make the final move that would kill me until his phone went off.

"Hello?"

I heard Stella on the other end and I mentally swore. I tuned out the conversation until the bastard tossed his phone in anger. I was then grabbed and his knife was pressed against my face. And the next thing I knew something hit Striker hard enough that it caused him to go flying.

Nyssa's POV

"Holy shit Stolas just hang on," I told the badly wounded Goetia as I came to his side.

"Nyssa," he said weakly. I shushed him and I was about to start healing when I used my scythe to block a shot that was fired at me.

"Well, this is an honor Princess Nyssa" the asshole named Striker greeted me. I wasn't going to lie, Striker wasn't a bad-looking imp.

"You should have heeded my husband's warning about leaving Stolas alone you bastard"

"Your husband doesn't tell me what to do Princess now step aside"

"Uh yeah how about a big hell no"

I then flipped Striker off just as the song of the IMP horn went off.

"Ya I brought company too" I sneered just as the IMP van made its way into the lair. While Striker's attention was on Moxxie, Millie, and Liv my attention went back to Stolas and I began to heal him.

Livania's POV

While Moxxie had Striker's attention I shifted to my wolf demon form and I hid behind a rock. Striker dodged being shot at by Mox and the asshole threw his knife into Moxxie's gun. This caused a bullet to ricochet around the lair and it finally hit the radio causing the song to change.

Striker then drew out two more guns and I chose this moment to attack. Striker saw me and tried firing rounds but they missed and Millie chose that moment to enter arm-to-arm combat with Striker. I saw an opening and I sank my fangs deep into Striker's right leg and the f**ker swore. I released his leg and let Millie and her husband deal with Striker for the remainder of the fight.

I spat out Striker's blood and I quickly rushed over to where Nyssa was currently healing Stolas. I reverted to my human form and I felt my knees give way as I saw the man I loved in his current condition.

"Beautiful Moon"

I shut him up by pressing my lips against his and my tears finally broke free. Thank hells we made it here in time before it was too late.

Nyssa's POV

I saw Moxxie was pinned down by Striker and now that Stolas was healed and out of danger I grabbed my scythe and let Liv take over with watching Stolas.

"Get your f**king hands off of my pal asshole" I snarled as I grabbed Striker by the collar of his jacket. I gave the f**ker the hardest sucker punch I could make and Striker crashed into the ground. Millie then used an ax to knock over the statue of Striker and it fell right on top of its owner. When the dust cleared Moxxie and I swore because the sneaky bastard had escaped.

Even though Stolas was healed he needed a hospital to be on the safe side so using my goddess powers I transported myself and Stolas into the hospital in the Sloth Ring. Immediately Stolas was given the medical attention he required and I didn't leave until I felt I'd done enough.

It took a half hour for Livania, Moxxie, and Millie to come back from Wrath. Since there was a large crowd I took Livania with me inside the hospital so she wouldn't be bombarded with the news folks outside. Before leaving Livania hugged me and I returned it. I then told Stolas to get better soon before I left the couple alone.

"Hey, what the f**k is going on?' Blitz demanded as I rejoined him alongside Moxxie and Millie. Luna was in the van with a cone over her head.

"Stolas got hurt real bad" Millie answered her boss.

"What? Is he going to be alright?"

"Yeah he will thanks to Nyssa" Mox responded.

Blitz was then the second one who hugged me.

Livania's POV

"My Beautiful Moon come here" Stolas beckoned me over.

"God damn it Stolas I was so scared" I confessed while feeling my tears coming.

"I am still here darling and it's time I asked you something"

The Goetia then sat up before picking up my left hand and bringing it to his beak.

"Livania will you marry me?"

That got me to widen my eyes.

"Babe I think you're still on the painkillers"

Stolas chuckled before placing his forehead against mine.

"No my Beautiful Moon I am very alert right now and I want to marry you"

Seeing he was being serious tears finally slid down my face.

"What about Via?"

"She knows I was going to propose to you"

"Then yes I will marry you Stolas"

My now fiance then kissed me and he wiped away the tears that went down my face. A good ending to a shitty day.
