Edward Elric looked over Resembool's green hills, still wrapped in morning fog, and listened to the distant whistle of the inbound train.
"Heh, this feels familiar," he muttered.
Beside him, Al grinned. "Doesn't it?"
Ed frowned. "Still not sure this trip isn't a bad idea. I'm not the teaching type."
They were bound for Central where Al had coaxed Ed into speaking as a guest lecturer at a university.
Al hummed. "And, our last trip on this day was such a good idea."
"It worked out!"
In so many ways.
"And, so will this."
"They'll ask stupid questions, and I'll yell at them," Ed warned.
"I know."
"I might throw things."
"Well, that is how Teacher taught us."
Ed mock-growled and tried to elbow his smirking brother, but Al easily dodged.
Still, Al had a point. It was October 3rd, and that seemed to be the day for new journeys.
