"This universe is one of my favorites," said Seth.
"I wonder why that is," whispered Weiss.
(A shot of a windmill is seen, and a red tank engine with two coaches it seen in the back ground, as a logo appears)
Ruby the Tank Engine and Friends
"Wait," said Blake, "Tank engine?"
"Yeah," said Seth, "It's really the only universe I can fit into."
"Why am I a tank engine?" asked Ruby.
"Just watch and wait," said Seth.
(The red tank engine then appears in front of the screen, showing Ruby's signature silver eyes and face.)
"So, are we all, trains in this universe?" asked Roman.
"If you mean the things that the LOCOMOTIVES pull, no, you're not trains," said Seth bluntly.
"What's wrong with you?" asked Arthur.
Seth's eyes literally squeaked as he stared right at Arthur, and said, "I am just... tired, of people, saying that trains and engines are the same thing. Trains, are what THEY FUCKING PULL!"
Everyone was against the back of their seats, and Seth said, "Now shut up, and watch the damn universe."
(Ruby then pulls into a station, letting off steam. Scene then turns to Ruby.)
Narrator: Ruby, is a tank engine, who lives at a Big Station on the Island of Remnant. She has six small wheels, a short stumpy boiler, a short stumpy dome, and a short stumpy funnel.
(Ruby then puffs about the big station pulling some coaches, and a big green engine is seen waiting at a platform for the all clear.)
Narrator: She's a fussy little engine too. Always pulling coaches about ready for the big engines to take on long journeys.
"Wait, I just get their trains ready?" asked Ruby, "Why me!?"
"Because," said Seth, "A small engine is required for the tight turns of the yards."
"That sounds boring though!" said Ruby, "I can already see myself getting mind numb from doing this day in and day out."
Narrator: And when trains come in, she takes the empty coaches away so that the big engines can go and rest.
(Ruby is seen shunting around the yards, as engines go about.)
Narrator: Ruby thinks nobody works as hard as she does. She loves playing tricks on the other engines, including Weiss, the biggest and proudest engine of them all.
"Wow," said Weiss, "That's me? I'm amazing."
"The class of engine you are," said Seth, "Is known as an LMS Princess Royal Class."
"Princess Royal?" asked Weiss.
"In life, they were named after all sorts of princesses, dutchesses, and other royalty."
Narrator: Ruby likes whistling rudely at her.
Ruby: Wake up lazy bones! Why don't you work hard like me?
"I can imagine Ms. Schnee works very hard in this universe?" asked Ozpin.
"Yes she does," said Seth, "She actually pulls the express across the entire island."
"Wow," said Ruby, "I don't know why I just said that to Weiss. Express trains are very important.
(Weiss is seen, taking a nap in a sighting, when Ruby comes up along side, and whistles)
Narrator: One day, after pulling the big express, Weiss had arrived back at the sightings very tired. She was just going to sleep when Ruby came up in her cheeky ways.
Ruby: Wake up lazy bones! Do some hard work for a change! You can't catch me!
(Ruby then runs off, leaving Weiss with a shocked expression on her face.)
"Oh man, that would be even more annoying than Ruby's whistle at Beacon," said Weiss.
"You're still using that whistle?" asked Tai.
"Yeah," said Ruby.
"What?" asked Weiss.
"Well," said Tai, "Ruby used that whistle each morning to help Yang wake up. She's a really heavy sleeper, and if you touch her hair, you're toast."
Narrator: And off she ran laughing.
(Weiss then bore a cross face)
Narrator: Instead of going back to sleep, Weiss made a plan of how she could get back at Ruby.
"Revenge is never a good idea," said Qrow.
"For once, I agree with that statement," said Winter
(At the Sheds, Ruby was yawning herself awake, as her crew went about her.)
Narrator: One morning, Ruby wouldn't wake up. Her driver and fireman couldn't make her start. Her fire went out and there was not enough steam.
(We then cut to the big station, and all sorts of people were waiting for the train.)
Narrator: It was nearly time for the express. People were waiting, but the coaches weren't ready.
(We cut back to the sheds, and Ruby slowly puffs out of the sheds)
Narrator: At last, Ruby finally made it out of the sheds.
Ruby: Oh dear, oh dear.
(Weiss was annoyed, as Ruby got her train ready.)
Narrator: She fussed into the station, where Weiss was waiting.
Weiss: Hurry up you!
Ruby: Hurry yourself!
"I don't get it," said Nora, "the coaches were literally right next to Weiss. Why didn't she just go the other line, and collect the coaches her self?"
"Well," said Seth, "According to this universe's Weiss, Tender Engines don't shunt. Shunting is for silly little tank engines. And it is true, but not by Weiss' reason of it not being dignified, it's because the tender can block the view of the driver, and their wheels are too big for a few of the corners."
"Wow," said Yang, "And I thought OUR Weiss had an Ego problem."
"HEY!"
Narrator: Weiss began making her plan.
Weiss: Yes, I will.
(Ruby put the coaches at the platform, and Weiss backed down)
Narrator: Before the coaches had stopped moving, Weiss quickly backed up, and coupled up to them.
Weiss: Get in quickly please.
Narrator: Ruby usually pushed the trains to help them start, but she was usually uncoupled first. But Weiss was in such a hurry, that they forgot to uncouple her! Weiss' chance had come!
"Really Weiss!?" exclaimed Ruby, "That is honestly a bit childish!"
"Well, maybe you shouldn't have woken me up from my nap!" said Weiss, "I work just as hard as you in this universe, if not harder!"
"Heh," chuckled Seth, "You're like an old married couple."
(Weiss puffs out of the station, and through junctions, countryside and tunnel, with Ruby in tow.)
Narrator: The train went faster and faster. Too fast for Ruby. She wanted to stop!
Ruby: *PEEP PEEP* STOP!
Weiss: Hurry Hurry Hurry!
Coaches: You can't get away! You can't get away!
(Weiss continues over a bridge, and Ruby is still behind the express)
Narrator: Poor Ruby was going faster than she had ever gone before. She was out of breath and her wheels hurt, but she had to go on.
Ruby: I will never be the same again! My wheels will be worn out!
"I can only imagine the damage that Ms. Schnee has done to Ms. Rose," said Oobleck.
"What do you mean?" asked Weiss, "It's just a tr-"
Weiss saw the glare from Seth, as she quickly corrected herself.
"-A tank engine."
"Well," said Oobleck, "Based on what I've seen, Ms. Rose's Tank Engine Form is only meant to go at a certain speed, like maybe 60 mph, while your class is closer to maybe 100 mph. Ms. Rose's wheels and axles might be very worn out, and the brakes if they were on are disintegrated, AND, there will be multiple trains waiting to be brought to the platforms since you seemed to have taken the only engine they have to shunt there."
Weiss took a second to process the information, and said, "Oh poop."
(Weiss pulled into a station, with Ruby sighing in relief.)
Narrator: At last they stopped at a station.
(Ruby was uncoupled, and went to a turn table and water tower)
Narrator: Ruby was uncoupled, and she felt very silly and exhausted. Next, she went onto a turn table, thinking about everyone laughing at her. And then she ran onto a sighting out of the way.
Weiss: Well Little Ruby, now you know what hard work means, don't you?
"Weiss," said Willow, "That was a very immature thing you did. I hope you don't think about pulling pranks on Ms. Rose to get back at her in future."
"Of course not Mother!" said Weiss, "I don't even know any pranks!"
Narrator: Poor poor Ruby couldn't respond. She just puffed away, and had a long long drink.
(Ruby is seen puffing over the bridge, and back to the big station)
Narrator: She went home very slowly, and was careful afterwards not to be cheeky to Weiss ever again.
"So, what do you think?" asked Seth.
"Well," said Blake, "I can see why you said you fit in. More talking trai-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii mean, engines."
Seth looked at Blake, and said, "Nice save."
"I liked it," said Ruby, "Seemed nice. I wonder who else is in this universe."
"You'll see," said Seth, "Up next, is one, that is 65 million years in the making!"
