Elsewhere, Kyosuke Yotsuya is having a stroll as he has free time, and while walking, he felt that something struck him…in a subconscious way, as he sensed that something is amiss and wondered what it is, feeling that something bad must have happened.
By then Hana passed by, in which the 16-year old teen girl blinked her eyes seeing the 12-year old brother of Miko in front of her as the two encountered each other by coincidence, and there Kyosuke asked what Hana is doing here, which she said that she just finished her COMMITMENT and now has free time, and is thinking about calling Miko so they can hang out.
"…and that's that…"
"I see…"
"Now that I got free time, I decided to contact Miko so we can hang out together…"
"Yeah, yeah…"
"Can you call her, Kyo-chan…?"
"Why me…?"
"Please…?"
"…"
Sighing, Kyosuke decided to contact Miko via his smartphone to let her know that Hana is available, but to his bafflement, the phone was ringing yet she did not answer, and he knows that Miko never puts her phone in SILENT MODE, and this aroused his suspicions that something amiss is going on.
Hana then uses her phone and attempted to use GPS to trace Miko's current location, and soon she and Kyosuke blinked their eyes upon seeing the signal and pinpointed location, and there he told Hana that he has a feeling that some thug must be harassing Miko, though Hana refuted it saying that Miko isn't seeing any boy as of this time.
"I know Miko…she's not dating anybody right now…"
"Are you sure?"
"Yup. Remember…our school has no boys…"
"Then why would nee-chan go to that place without telling us…?"
"…"
"I have a bad feeling about this…"
"Kyo-chan…"
"Hana…"
Nevertheless, Kyosuke urges Hana that they better head to that location in order to check on Miko to make sure she is okay, and thus the two began to leave and head there, unaware of what happened to Miko, and there Hana hailed a taxi and the driver asked where would they go to, which Hana told the cab driver which place.
"That place…?"
"Yeah."
"Okay."
"Thanks."
"Are you two going on a date…?"
"Er…no…just take us there…"
"Okay."
"Kyo-chan…"
As so Hana and Kyosuke boarded the taxi as the cab went off and headed to the direction where the GPS is telling them where Miko's phone is, not knowing of the fact that she was attacked by a malevolent spirit and that her body was washed away via a lake.
Kyosuke is shown to be worried though Hana assured to him that Miko will be okay, though deep inside she too is starting to get really worried as Miko usually answered her calls and this was the first time that Miko did not answer back.
"Its okay, Kyo-chan…"
"Huh?"
"Miko will be okay."
"Really…?"
"Really."
"Okay."
"I'm sure she'll be okay."
"…"

Ch. 2: Bubun-tekina fukkatsu; supirichuarutoransufōmēshon
At the Spirit World, the scene shifts inside the palace where Koenma, the current ruler, is reading the documents which showed that reports pouring in about the increased spirit activities within the Prefecture, which covers Tokyo, Shibuya, and near the rest of the border, and there Botan came in and said that she got a call from Hiei and Kurama, who told her that they encountered a high school girl who seemingly possessed an awakened ability to see spirits, which Koenma stared at her in curiosity.
"Huh? Are you sure, Botan?"
"Yes, Koenma-sama..."
"Hmm…"
"This somewhat reminded me…"
"Koenma-sama…?"
"It feels like it was just days ago…"
"Er…is there something wrong…?"
"Feels like déjà vu all over again…"
Koenma placed his hand under his chin as this reminded him of the case where Shinobu Sensui is involved, which resulted in Asato Kido, Yu Kaito and Mitsunari Yanagisawa gained spirit abilities during the crisis at Mushiyori City.
Koenma asked Botan if this high school girl has done anything that involves her using that ability of hers, which she said according to Kurama and Hiei, the girl somewhat kept her cool by pretending that she doesn't notice the spirits and she just moved on, which made Koenma a bit surprised, seeing that the girl has tremendous bravery as normally a regular human would freak out.
Koenma then assigned Botan to identify this girl and see what other abilities she posses so as to assess whether she would be either an asset or a threat, which Botan nodded in acknowledgement.
"Botan…this would be your assignment."
"…"
"Find any information about this girl…"
"Okay…"
"If you manage to see her, follow her discreetly and know where she lives."
"Okay."
"Take a picture of her if necessary…"
"Got it…"

Back on the human world, the scene shifts at the other side of the riverbank, where you can see that Miko is laid on the ground, and you can see that the upper-right portion of her upper clothing was shredded, exposing her right breast, which was scarred due to the attack by the unidentified malevolent spirit, and there you can see someone kneeling beside her.
This person appeared to be a senior citizen, a man who appeared to be in his mid-60s, who is long-haired which his hair color is white, with white moustache and beard, and dressed in what appeared to be a Sengoku-era robes, and he is holding what appeared to be a hand-sized, rounded object, which was glowing, and you can see the seemingly-fatal wounds on her chest and back are being healed and the wounds closing, while the blood that stained her skin dried up.
By then Miko opened her eyes and got up before looking around, and blushed upon seeing her right breast exposed to prying eyes as well as seeing the man near her, but then she recalled the events earlier and checked her chest and upper back, and there the man told her that her wounds have been healed, surprising Miko.
"Don't worry, child. You've been patched up."
"Eh?"
"Your wounds have been healed."
"!"
"You're okay now."
"How…"
"What's important is that your life is saved."
"I…I..."
Miko was surprised to hear that this man saved her life as well as healed her wounds, which she expressed gratitude, but the man told her that she is just lucky that he happened to pass by and saw what happened, then told her that the spirit that attacked her is different from the others, and informed her that she cannot ignore what she is seeing, saying that the spirit that assaulted her earlier is just a start as there would be more to appear.
He also told her that these kind of incidents would increase and these malevolent spirits can tell whether their prey can SEE them or not, hence Miko is at risk of being attacked again when the least expected.
"…and that's that…"
"N-no…"
"I'm sorry…but that's the harsh reality…"
"…"
"Unlike before…there are going to be malevolent spirits that will attack their prey regardless whether you notice them or not…"
"I…I..."
"So sorry to tell you this…"
"…"
Miko was on the verge of crying as she couldn't believe that she might be attacked again as she thought of her younger brother and Hana, and she mentally wished there is a way to protect them, and the man smirked and said that there is a way for Miko to protect herself, which she readily asked if there is such a way.
"R-really…?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure…?"
"Yes. There's a way for you to sort this out."
"Please…tell me how!"
"Are you prepared…?"
"…yes…"
"Very well…"
The man, who introduced himself as simply Sennin, which means "hermit" or "sage", and took out a pouch and brought out the contents which revealed to be an unusual device, which he calls it the Ghost-Driver, and tells Miko that this device will help her fend off any malevolent spirits that attempt to harm her or her loved ones, which made her tempted, as protecting Kyosuke and Hana are what drove her to readily consider.
Then Sennin brought out another item, which he dubbed the Eyecon, and said that this will give her ADDITIONAL ABILITIES to help her fight off the malevolent spirits and said that only the wearer can see the spirits hence it won't freak out other people.
As Miko asked how these items work, Sennin told her the instructions, as well as how to use the Eyecon, and there Miko took the Ghost-Driver and stared at it while Sennin gave her an Eyecon, which he said it will give her the ability to fight off any spirits that try to harm her.
Sennin gave Miko the Ghost Eyecon, and told her on how to use it, then inform her that there are about 14 other Eyecons that are scattered all over, and said that once all 15 are gathered, she would gain the power to find the source of this phenomenon and there she can end it and then she can return to her normal life.
"R-really…?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure…?"
"Yes. Once you collected 15 of the Eyecons…you will gain the means to end this phenomenon and you won't be seeing any spirits again."
"For real? All I have to do is find 14 others…?"
"Indeed. So then…are you prepared to do this…?"
"…yes…"
"Very well…"
As Miko glanced at the Ghost Eyecon and the Ghost-Driver, she is tempted to ask him if there is some kind of payment in exchange, and when she looks up, she blinked her eyes in surprise as Sennin DISAPPEARED in thin air, and this made her wondered if Sennin is a person or a spirit, which made her feel uneasy.
Seeing that she needed to get going, Miko stood up and is ready to leave, and as she checked her body, she realized that her bag and smartphone are not here and there she realized that she must have dropped them at the site where the malevolent spirit assaulted her. She then saw a bridge and went there and crossed to the other side.
As she heads to the site where she believed that her bag is there, she is suddenly greeted by the malevolent spirit that attacked her earlier, which Miko managed to evade, but its claws only caught the rest of her upper clothes and forcefully grabbed it, ripping it away, leaving Miko NAKED from the waist up.
"!"
"RRRRR…"
"No!"
"RRRRR…"
"Stop!"
"RRRRR…"
"Leave me alone!"
"RRRRR…"
As Miko is starting to panic as she is about to be cornered, she recalled the items she is holding, and remembering what Sennin said to her a while ago, she took a deep breath and placed the Ghost-Driver in front of her waist, where a metallic belt strap is formed, and thus the Ghost-Driver became a belt.
As the malevolent spirit is chasing her, Miko kept evading it and took out the Ghost Eyecon and pressed a button, where a voice spoke to confirm the activation.
Ghost Eyecon: "EYE…"

Suddenly, a hoodie jacket-like spirit emerged and began to repel the malevolent spirit back, which Miko stared wide-eyed in surprise, but the malevolent spirit persisted and tried to reach out to Miko, nearly grazing her naked chest, and there she took a deep breath and inserted the Ghost Eyecon inside the Ghost-Driver, closes the hatch and toggles the small lever, where the Ghost-Driver spoke to confirm the activation.
Ghost-Driver: "KAIGAN! ORE…LET'S GO! KAKUGO…GO-GO-GO-GHOST-TOH! GO, GO, GO,GO…"
Miko is surprised as her body is MYSTICALLY ENVELOPED in black but illuminating armor, and the hoodie jacket-like entity, colored black with brown streaks flew and draped itself onto Miko, and there you can see that the helmet has orange lens that resembled that of a firefly, and a rather large horn on the forehead portion of the helmet.
Miko instinctively pushes down the hood and noticed that she is encased in an armor while wearing the hooded jacket, and seeing the lake she glanced at her reflection and is surprised at what she is wearing, and this made her wondered if this is what Sennin meant about gaining the ability to protect and fight back against the malevolent spirits.
"Is this…what that man said…? Will this help me repel that spirit….?"
Miko had no idea what just happened, as she unwittingly transformed into Kamen Rider Ghost. Now she wondered how to deal with the malevolent spirit and just now she realized that she should have asked Sennin how to make use of this new-found abilities she gained, as she has no idea on how to use it to face the malevolent spirit.
"Damn it…I should have asked him how to use this ability…!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as Miko somehow survived the attack…thanks to an enigmatic stranger…but is he a person…? Or a spirit…?
Anyhow, Miko's in danger again as the malevolent spirit is attempting to make another kill, only this time Miko was able to acquire a means to protect herself, but has no idea how to make use of it given that this was her first time. Hence the cliffhanger…
Kyosuke and Hana are on the way to where Miko is, unaware of her current situation, thus they might inadvertently get caught in the crossfire…
Another pair of characters from Yu Yu Hakusho appeared…and it seems that they are onto Miko and are about to figure out her identity, which might also lead to discovering her acquired items…
