First off: belated happy New Year and welcome to 2022. Last month I said that this fic will be ready by the end of January, but for a reason it ended up getting delayed, in which I won't make any excuses. It is because I caught the COVID despite getting vaccinated, and I believe that I have gotten the Omicron variant. Thankfully I managed to recover while isolating myself inside my house but as a result working on this and my other fanfics slowed down, hence the late update of this fic.
Now that I finished my explanation…time to get down to business…
Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here Miko is once again teetering the line between life and death as she is once more being attacked by a malevolent spirit…although this time she got some HELP…

At the Spirit World, the scene shifts inside the palace where Koenma, the current ruler, is reading the documents which showed that more reports pouring in, in which he read it and became more concerned as the report says that there is a rather alarming spike about the increased spiritual activities within the Prefecture, which covers Tokyo, Shibuya, and near the rest of the border, and there his youkai assistant, George, came in and said that he received a report that a Youkai is attacking a human somewhere within the Tokyo area, and this made Koenma stood up on his chair, as he did not expect that something like this would happen so suddenly.
He read the reports again before George tells Koenma about the latest report he received and the current ruler of the Spirit World asked his assistant for confirmation as he wanted to make sure if the report is for real so he would not make a hasty decision.
"Are you sure about this, George?"
"Yes, Koenma-sama..."
"This is so sudden…"
"Koenma-sama…? What do we…?"
"Let me think…"
"…"
"It can't be helped…"
"Er…is there something wrong…?"
Koenma asked George which area within Tokyo did he got the report, and after getting confirmation, he contacted Botan and told her of the current situation, which made her feel alarmed as she did not expect something like this to happen suddenly, and said that she would go find Yusuke Urameshi and the others, but Koenma told her that he will be the one to do that.
Koenma then assigned Botan to head for the area and see if the situation is grave and contact him if she sees something that would require the assistance of the spirit detectives, which she stared while receiving instructions from Koenma.
"Botan…this would be your assignment."
"…"
"See what is going on there…"
"Okay…"
"If the situation there is serious, let me know at once."
"Okay."
"Try not to be seen if possible…we need to know if this threat is serious."
"Got it…"
As Botan left and the communication turned off, Koenma is in deep thought as he haven't felt this kind of situation for a long time, and he wondered what is happening at the Youkai realm, as he is sure that the current ruler, Enki, is enforcing a rule where Youkai are forbidden to attack humans unless there is justifiable reasons.
Koenma is considering in contacting Yusuke about this situation but is interrupted when George told him that a device on his table glowed, which it detected a rather strong spiritual aura, which surprised the two, and this made Koenma becoming concerned, as the source came from the same area that George said in his report and where Botan is heading to right now.
"Hey, George…isn't that…?"
"That's the place I'm telling you about!"
"Are you serious…?"
"Yeah…"
"…"
"Koenma-sama…?"
"…"
"Koenma-sama…?"
Koenma is increasingly becoming worried as he did not expect something like this to happen, and is getting more and more concerned as it once more reminded him of the Mushiori City incident which led to a rather unpleasant reunion with the late Shinobu Sensui and his cohorts.
He then brought out a device, which he is staring at it as the devices allows him to contact Urameshi and Kuwabara, and is considering in contacting them about the situation but decided to hold it off until he gets confirmation from Botan about whether the situation is serious enough to warrant getting Urameshi and Kuwabara involved in this matter or not.

Ch. 3: Reiteki sentōki ga hassei shimasu
The scene shifts at the area where Miko first arrived, where the taxi cab is shown to arrived here, which Kyosuke got off and head off to where the GPS of Miko's phone is leading him to, and as Hana paid the cab driver, she left and went after Kyosuke, as she is also starting to get worried.
There the two saw a couple of people and approached them while showing a picture of Miko while asking if they saw her, which the person's they asked politely said that they did not see her, and there Kyosuke and Hana went to approach other people, and after asking they got the same response, as they were told that they did not see anyone else.
"Sorry."
"Never saw her."
"Nope."
"Nothing."
"Not my problem."
"Not my concern."
"Go away."
"Get lost."
As the two continue walking and running, they saw Miko's phone and bag on the ground, which Kyosuke became concerned as he knows that Miko would never leave her phone behind like that, but then Hana shrieked as she pointed out a ripped portion of Miko's upper clothing, which she recognized as Miko's, and this made her and Kyosuke become more worried than ever before after seeing a bloodstain.
"Its Miko-chan's…!"
"No way…"
"Does this mean…?"
"…"
"Kyo-chan…"
"We…got to keep going…let's find nee-chan…"
"…"
"Lets go…"
Kyosuke and Hana decided to look around the park area in hopes of finding Miko, unaware of the current situation she is in.

The scene shifts at the other side of the park, where Miko is looking for her phone that she dropped, but is suddenly greeted by the malevolent spirit that attacked her earlier, which Miko managed to evade, but its claws only caught the rest of her upper clothes and forcefully grabbed it, ripping it away, leaving Miko NAKED from the waist up.
"!"
"RRRRR…"
"No!"
"RRRRR…"
"Stop!"
"RRRRR…"
"Leave me alone!"
"RRRRR…"
As Miko is starting to panic as she is about to be cornered, she recalled the items she is holding, and remembering what Sennin said to her a while ago, she took a deep breath and placed the Ghost-Driver in front of her waist, where a metallic belt strap is formed, and thus the Ghost-Driver became a belt.
As the malevolent spirit is chasing her, Miko kept evading it and took out the Ghost Eyecon and pressed a button, where a voice spoke to confirm the activation.
Ghost Eyecon: "EYE…"

Suddenly, a hoodie jacket-like spirit emerged and began to charge, ram and repel the malevolent spirit back, which Miko stared wide-eyed in surprise, but the malevolent spirit persisted and tried to reach out to Miko, nearly grazing her naked chest, and there she took a deep breath and inserted the Ghost Eyecon inside the Ghost-Driver, closes the hatch and toggles the small lever, where the Ghost-Driver spoke to confirm the activation.
Ghost-Driver: "KAIGAN! ORE…LET'S GO! KAKUGO…GO-GO-GO-GHOST-TOH! GO, GO, GO, GO…"
Miko is surprised as her body is MYSTICALLY ENVELOPED in black but illuminating armor, and the hoodie jacket-like entity, colored black with brown streaks flew and draped itself onto Miko, and there you can see that the helmet has orange lens that resembled that of a firefly, and a rather large horn on the forehead portion of the helmet.
Miko instinctively pushes down the hood and noticed that she is encased in an armor while wearing the hooded jacket, and seeing the lake she glanced at her reflection and is surprised at what she is wearing, and this made her wondered if this is what Sennin meant about gaining the ability to protect and fight back against the malevolent spirits.
"Is this…what that man said…? Will this help me repel that spirit….?"
Miko had no idea what just happened, as she unwittingly transformed into Kamen Rider Ghost. Now she wondered how to deal with the malevolent spirit and just now she realized that she should have asked Sennin how to make use of this new-found abilities she gained, as she has no idea on how to use it to face the malevolent spirit.
"Damn it…I should have asked him how to use this ability…!"
The malevolent spirit then charged towards the armored Miko and struck her with his claws, but the SPIRITUAL armor protected her and all she felt was just a BUMP, and she staggered back after receiving a few more blows, but the malevolent spirit pinned her to the ground and began to strangle her, as it is determined to kill Miko and consume her soul.
"!"
"RRRRR…"
"Gaaahhhhkkk!"
"RRRRR…"
"L-let…g-go!"
"RRRRR…"
"I…won't…l-let…you…!"
"RRRRR…"
As Miko is starting to lose her breath due to being strangled, she made a desperate move by poking the malevolent spirit on the eye with her fingers, and the malevolent spirit backed away, and getting up, adrenaline rushed within her body and performed some wrestling moves such as clothesline and a dropkick.
Miko is surprised that she is able to repel the malevolent spirit back and wanting to stop the spirit from making another attempt to attack her, the armored Miko charges forward and delivered a barrage of punches like the ones seen on wrestling shows like WWE Raw and Smackdown.
Though it worked, the malevolent spirit wouldn't be deterred and fought back, and Miko is reeling as she wondered what to do in order to defeat this malevolent spirit so that it would not attack her anymore.
It was then that Sennin contacted her SPIRITUALLY, and instructed her on what to do, which Miko asked if he is sure about this, which Sennin smiled and assured to her that this will work and would get rid of the malevolent spirit for good.
"Really…?"
"Yup. It will work."
"…"
"Better do it and stop hesitating…"
"Will it really work…?"
"Why don't you give it a try…?"
"Eh…?"
"You better make your move."
Miko then glanced at the malevolent spirit, who grabbed her by her neck and attempted to strangle her once more, and as the malevolent spirit is focused on strangling her, she toggles the lever on the Ghost-Driver and a voice spoke to confirm the activation.
Ghost-Driver: "DAI-KAIGAN…OMEGA DRIVE!"
Miko's armor glowed like that of a firefly while her armored right leg glowed brightly before kicking the malevolent spirit which the impact is strong enough to send him back for a few meters, and then Miko ran towards the malevolent spirit before executing a flying kick, and the move connected, which caused an explosion, and the malevolent spirit was defeated and sent back to the spirit plane.
Miko stood there as the smoke cleared, and sighing in relief, she wondered what to do next before she glanced at the Ghost-Driver and coincidentally pulls the lever, opening the hatch of the belt, and pulls out that Eyecon, and her armor and hoodie jacket disappeared, and Miko is back to normal again.
She stood still as she is trying to mentally absorb what happened to her, as several minutes ago she was attacked and left for dead, then an elderly man uses SUPERNATURAL means to save her and gave her items to fight the spirit that attacked her, and now she is tasked to find 14 more Eyecons in order to PUT AN END to the spirit infestations.
By then Kyosuke and Hana arrived, and both are relieved to see that Miko is okay, and both hugged her and told her that they were worried after seeing her bag and phone left on the ground, and Miko nearly cried as she realized that if she hadn't defeated the malevolent spirit it might have attack either Hana or Kyosuke, and she apologized for making them worry.
"Sorry…for making you worry…"
"Miko…"
"Nee-chan…"
"But I'm okay now…"
"Really?"
"Are you sure…?"
"I'm sure."
"Um…"
"Er…"
However, hilarity ensued as Kyosuke blushed and told her that Miko is naked on her upper body, which Hana nodded, saying that if given more time her breasts would be in the same size as hers, and Miko blushed upon realizing it and Kyosuke gave her his jacket to cover her body and asked what happened, which Miko is hesitant to tell her younger brother and Hana about what happened, and came up with an alibi, while at the same time she hides the Ghost-Driver Inside her bag and the trio decided to leave the park.
A minute later, Botan arrived and noted that nothing much happened other than a dying smoke and traces of the explosion, and she informed Koenma of the situation here before she is told to resume in finding this girl who has the ability to see spirits.

Anyhow, the danger has passed as Miko defeated the malevolent spirit…and now she has become a SPIRITUAL Kamen Rider…
Kyosuke and Hana arrived and are relieved that she is okay…though they have no idea what happened to her, and are unaware of the fact that she became Kamen Rider Ghost…
