Aboard the Ultimate sat Queen Ruby, her eyes were narrowed as one of the many corrupt nobles were slumped over being held down by the Queen Guard.
"Duke Yvel of the Faccima Family, you haven been condemned with Slavery, trafficking of other sentient beings, sexual assault to the first degree, and even cases of manslaughter."
Yvel tensed at hearing his crimes, he was caught and he knew there was no escape for him, he could shout and scream about the injustice, but only the corrupt nobility would do anything. All of hi9s crimes were backed by leagues of evidence like the Empire always discovers.
"What do you say in your defense?"
"I am… guilty." He wanted to scream and shout, to thrash and survive, but it was all for naught, when the Queen wanted you dead, you died, even if she had to do it personally.
"I see, as per the laws of the empire, you shall be put to death under execution for your crimes past Life in Prison. Your date of execution is tomorrow in the early morning, publicly recorded so study and to put ease on those affected by your crimes. Remove this filth from my castle, I want him dead before I wake in the morning."
Yvel almost burst into tears, the greatest insult for the one to die, the queen, their God, ignoring their own death. He was dragged from the throne room.
Ruby scowled, "I wish I could enjoy my own life instead doing all of… this." She sighed, '400 years of operating a massive empire and no time for myself or my friends, we are slowly drifting apart and it has nothing to do with what we do.' She sighed, 'Maybe I can set Mom to take over for some time.'
Ruby smiled at the idea, but she quickly shook her head, 'Why do I care, the Government doesn't actually need me besides to deal with treason and Corruption, I can do my own thing and I never realized. The only things I actually do is monitor the Government and control the minor Military operations, okay, I will tell the Council tomorrow."
Exiting from a Dimensional portal is a large fleet of ships of around 102 strong. Many Escort ships surrounded the single Capital ship, which was a Ovl-299, a large ship with the standard angular design, It was a mix of a Carrier and Ground support ship. The name that the ship stood under is Divine Hand.
Within the ship bridge stood team STRQ, "So?" Summer asked her partner Raven, "What do you think?"
Raven frowned, "The world is far too peaceful, but it's interesting."
"Hm, okay, Tai-honey, please send out the Evoy ship. Along with a small fighter detachment."
Tai nodded, "Easy Sweety, sending the Envoy now."
Equestria, today was a peaceful day, nothing was supposed to happen for the next week, the Mane Six were doing their normal jobs. Princess Twilight, A lavender alicorn pony, was doing paperwork for the kingdom. She slumped into her seat with a sigh, "Spike!"
A Green scaled bipedal dragon walked in, "Yo Twi, need something?"
Twilight sighed, "Yes, can you get me some coffee?'
"Sure hold one while I-" He was quickly interrupted by the loud roaring of something in the sky, it shook Twilight's castle to the foundation. "What in the-" Spike looked out the nearby window and paled, "What is that?!"
Twilight rushed over and saw it, she quickly paled, "Holy Celestia!" There flying in the sky is a large 'air' ship, and by Twilight's visual calculation by the length of the shadow and overall length must stand around 1.2 kilometers in length! "Are we being invaded?" Twilight mutters nervously.
Her answer came quickly and loudly. "Sentient Species of Equestria within the range of our Speaker systems, we are the Rose Empire Space Command, a Branch of the Imperial Rosian Empire, under Divine Mother Summer Rose, We come in peace and request communication with the Leader of these lands." There was silence as those words soaked in, "We will wait for a response from the leading power." There was a crackle as everything went quiet.
Twilight was shivering in fear, she didn't know why but this Empire scared her, not because of some type of evil or just fear of the unknown. She was terrified because she didn't know what this meant for everypony.
In a flash of white Celestia appeared with her sister, while Cadence appeared with her husband, they all looked nervous and serious.
"Celestia, what do we do?" Cadence asked, "We can't act to rashly, if we do something foolish-"
"I know, we might as well prepare for the best, because we cannot handle the worst."
Captain Nim of the Imperial Envoy Ship, spotted the four ponies wearing crowns on their heads, he decided to meet them on the ground, on their territory, but first.
He pushed a single button on his control panel.
The Envoy ship dropped a small crate onto the ground, before it hit the ground it expanded into a large tented location with an average sized landing pad. Seats appeared within the Tented section, enough to fit 12 people, the ponies were shocked and stunned by their own quickly a meeting point was set.
It didn't take much longer for a single Vtol craft to drop from the ship and begin its soft descent towards the ground, it landed on the landing pad with a soft almost inaudible thud. The Vtol engines deactivated just before the doors opened.
The Ponies were confused by the Ape-like creature that walked out, but what really stunned them was the extra set of ears and a single tail. Both were Vulpine in nature. The Ape creature wore a fancy suit that made ponies look archaic in design, behind the ape creature stood more but each one wore a heavily advanced armor that covered its face. But the helmet still had room for skull extensions. The last creature to exit the ship wore a fancy Militaristic suit covered in awards and designs on the shoulders. On his hip was a holstered weapon similar in design to the weapons the soldiers held. The ponies made their way to the tent and watched as the soldiers set up in defensive positions around their leaders but not in overall aggressive locations.
The Ape-creature wearing the Military suit cleared his throat, "Hello, I am Captain Nim of the Queen's Envoy, standing here besides me is the Imperial RONI Agent of Class 7, Most commonly referred to as the Diplomat."
"Hello, I am James Hax, Member of RONI, and ally to the crown and the prophets. I am Fox Faunus, and Captain Nim is a Pure Blood Human." He did not involve the soldiers who stoically stood behind them.
Celestia nodded, "I am Princess Celestia co-ruler of Equestria alongside my sister Princess Luna, besides me are Princess Twilight and her friends, along with Princess Cadence and her husband.
The Faunus and Human Duo blinked, they looked to each other, and looked back at their ship. "This… is unexpected, we assumed a single leader, not… all of them. Nim, was this… Did the Divine Mother know about this?"
"Not to my knowledge, what the hell, okay, we can still deal with this." Nim coughed, "Royal Celestia, we are here to establish a union of our two peoples if that pleases you."
"A Union?"
"Yes, We the Empire and you of Ponykind join into the Imperium, as a singular entity, with you controlling your land but with military protection and trade with the empire. Along with the standard of your species being considered a Joint with all the Rights and laws of the Imperium applying to your species."
"Can I see the laws?"
"Of course, here are the laws that will apply to your species." Nim handed Celestia the Law book, it was quite thin for a law book.
Celestia looked through the book and raised an eyebrow, "Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion, why are there so many Freedoms?"
"Because we believe that the people are equal to the Imperium." Celestia smiled slightly, "However because we do not expect for you all to join us suddenly we only provide defenses and trade with us, until you join or create your own group."
This would be the start of the Equus-Rosian Imperium fusion
A Month Later the Mane Six were riding within the Envoy ship headed to meet the queen. Rainbow Dash scowled as she thought about the empire, she hated the idea of someone above the Princesses. She wanted to Find this Imperial Queen and show everyone just how evil she is, she would do this for her Kingdom, like any Loyalist would do!
"Docking at Ultimate in 12 minutes."
Rainbow smirked.
It didn't take long for the Envoy ship to dock and The Main Six were guided by a mix of Pony and Human Imperial Soldiers. Rainbow and the group were astonished by what they saw, they were inside the belly of the ship, they expected a Military Dictatorship or something just as bad. However what they saw was smiles, unarmed Imperial Soldiers, and children playing in the walkway. Suddenly a small Cat Faunus girl ran up to Twilight with a bright smile, "Hello Miss Pony!" She was a Siamese cat with bright pink eyes. "I am your Ultimate City Guide."
Twilight tilted her head, "Aren't you too young?"
"Hm, oh no, I am around 50 years old, I understand what you mean though. Not many have seen a Dwarf."
The ponies nod, the Dwarf Faunus smile, "Anyway, I am here to take you all to the Imperial Palace to meet the Queen in Person. It's amazing to see the Queen, she's a very awesome woman!"
Rainbow scowled, 'We will see about that when I expose just how evil she is!'
Rainbow was wandering the palace, she arrived only a few minutes ago but she wanted to find any incriminating evidence against the queen, and so far, nothing. She scowled, she walked into the Royal Garden, she was met with the beautiful array of flowers that most likely were supported by slave labor. She gasped as she spotted a young 19 year old woman tending to the flowers, she had black hair with red tips. However her eyes are what caught her attention, brilliant silver eyes that slightly glowed.
Rainbow cleared her throat as she neared the girl, likely a slave for the Queen.
Said girl turned and smiled at her, "Oh, hello." Her silky tone almost made Rainbow shiver, it reminded her of Celestia but with far more Friendly and casual aire, "I am Ruby, you must be the guest the Queen invited."
Rainbow nodded as she mentally snarled at the queen, "Yeah, I'm Rainbow Dash."
"Oh, that's a very obvious name, your body is covered in powerful lean muscles making me think of a type of speedster, while your Mane and Tail are dead giveaways." Rainbow balked, "However it is nice to meet you." Ruby smiled childishly and giggled, "Well, I have to get inside and prepare to meet you and the other guest, excuse me." Ruby slipped through the door.
Rainbow blinked and looked through the door, she raised an eyebrow as she did not find Ruby again. 'Weird, whatever.'
"Rainbow, it's time for us to meet the Queen." Twilight galloped to her with a small smile on her lips, Rainbow nodded and quickly followed Twilight.
They arrived at the throne room, where an empty throne sat, "Introducing Queen Ruby Rose of the Imperial Family." Roses began to fall from the sky as two eyes appeared partially above the throne, what caught Rainbow's attention was the eyes were a brilliant glowing silver. Soon all the roses falling from the sky were sucking towards the eyes and formed a humanoid form. Rainbow's eyes widened. It was the same girl she saw in the garden.
"Yo, I'm Ruby Rose, Queen of the Rosian Imperial Collective, but please just call me Ruby, my Title is just for show lately." Ruby jumped away from her throne and flipped through the air before landing gracefully on the ground in a small crouch. "Man, I love being Theatrical!" Ruby giggled, "So, ask questions, dinner will be ready in… 15 minutes or so."
Rainbow was stunned but she returned to a scowl, ''Aren't you way too young to be the leader of a Massive Empire?"
Ruby blinked before she blushed, "Aw you think I'm young?" She giggled, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but at the moment I am around 459 years old, and will be 460 in 120 days." Ruby giggled as she watched the jaws drop from the ponies, "Oh, and here are my friends now." Team WBY and JOPNR walked in, "Ponies these is my Team RWBY, and our sister Team JOPNR." Ruby smiled, "They are my family, friends, and lovers." She glanced towards the entirety of her team, Jaune, Penny, and Oscar. She reset her vision back on her visitors. Ruby smiled, but said nothing else as she waved for them to ask away.
"Um, Miss Rose-" "Ruby" Twilight nodded, "Miss Ruby, why do you leak… so much magical energy… and some of it… is quite vile."
Rainbow smirked, 'Ah ha Vile magic, this Ruby must be evil!'
Ruby smiled, "That is because I stole the magic from an evil Queen who was trying to kill our people, Salem, she was an evil Witch who was entirely immortal. She could have her head removed, her heart destroyed, and she would just keep coming back. I stole her powers and took them for all of us to use, but because of the evil she had in her heart it forever stained her abilities."
"Is she alive?"
"Hm, we believe so, Ren, would you please?'
Lie Ren high Ranking official of the RONI, "From recent Reports, Remnant, the world below the surface, still possesses a single occupant that has not been confirmed deceased in 320 years. We have reason to believe that this is Salem, however we are not ready to face the threats on our planet."
"Threats?"
Ruby frowned, she expected the question but she really didn't want to show what she meant. "Nora, please?"
Nora giggled softly as she pushed a button as a Holographic video of a appearing on a screen are caged Basic Grimm. "These are Grimm, the enemies of all living things."
"What in the…" Rainbow's jaw dropped and she was sure her friends had the same expression, The creatures looked like evil incarnate.
"How…" Twilight managed to gasp out, 'How did your people survive these creatures?!"
"Our Aura, a Manifestation of our Souls and Magic." Ruby flared her Aura the Red aura with specks of gold and black, "This is my Aura, and this, this is my Magic!" Silver flames ignited across her hands while streaks of lightning Ruby's eyes released a stream of flames. Ruby smirked as the fire dissipated.
"I… uh… Wow." Twilight muttered in awe, "Does that hurt?"
"It was uncomfortable the first time I did it, but by now it feels natural." Ruby smiled but suddenly frowned, "Hey Agent Siva, what the hell is going on-"
The massive Throne door exploded sending shrapnel flying towards the ponies, however Ruby and her team appeared before them with their magical aura's flaring. Weiss pointed Myrtenaster towards the door and created a Magical shield barrier. "Ruby, Green Rose!" Ruby nodded as she and Ren charged towards the enemy, Ren opening fire with his twin pistols on any medium sized chunks of door while Ruby darted forward, shattering the sound barrier. Crescent Rose unfolded, showing the pure gold engraved along the blade, Ruby spun on her heel and slashed at the largest chunk of door into manageable pieces for Ren and Weiss. Ruby skid across the ground while her eyes started to fill with darkness. Under her clothing Shade coated her body in a dense body armor, just in time as a large explosion slammed into Ruby knocking her back. Ruby flipped and slammed into Ren lille a wrecking ball.
Weiss's eyes narrowed as black lines formed around her eyes as her Symbiote coated her skin. She saw Ruby's condition and quickly realized that this was dire, "Ruby!"
A large sharp piece of wood was shoved through Ruby's chest and poked out of her back. Ruby shook off her daze and stood up, she grabbed the wood and pulled on it until it dislodged with a loud disgusting squelch. Blood freely flowed down Ruby's chest, Shade quickly acted and began to stitch the wound together. "I… I'm okay!" Ruby wheezed, just as she finished the sound closed, "What the hell just happened, we haven't been attacked like this in 200 years! I thought all the Bad people were currently in prison!"
Ren's eyes narrowed as he glared at the ponies, "What if they weren't people."
Ruby's eyes widened at the insinuation, "The ponies have been respectful and kind this entire time, why would they do something so drastic!?"
Ren glared at Rainbows in particular. "Because Miss Rainbow is a 'Loyalist', she hates you for making ponykind look bad, she in fact could have something to do with this."
Ruby's eyes narrowed at hearing this, "Are you sure?"
"Yes, I have been reading her thoughts this entire time."
At this moment all the ponies were staring at Rainbow in shock with fluttershy staring at her in sheer horror.
"Ren, she didn't cause this, we can rule her out as the culprit."
"Yes, she is innocent, however if she is a Loyalist, that means others could, and who is to say that one of the guests you invited wouldn't try and do something drastic."
"I…" Ruby's pupil shrank, "B-but.. My people, they would…"
"Yes." Ren felt Ruby's Magical pressure spike.
Shade formed over Ruby, her usually pale skin now coated in darkness, tendrils of coalesced darkness ripping off of Ruby's slim body. "No one hurts my people without facing my Judgment." Ruby's head darted to Ren and Blake, "RONI SOE 9, I want all non-citizens constantly monitored for National Security. Fuck regulations, these ponies wish for the Empire to React, we will show them our overreactions, make them know they cant stop us. Defcon 8 will be enacted. I want these bastards to face the might of the Empire, is that understood?!"
All Ruby's friends nodded quickly, "Yes Ma'am!"
"Good!" Ruby cooled quickly, "Sorry Guys, but this… Agent Siva, how many are dead?"
"All nearby Royal Guards have been executed by a 19mm submachine gun." Siva frowned as she poked a dead Guard.
Everything went quiet as both Teams started to realize what that actually meant. "Oh shit… this is bad, relations between Ponies and the Imperial Species just dropped into the red." Ruby cursed, "Guys, we have an issue, our people are going to want to start a war. What do we do?" Ruby looked at Penny, "Penny what do you think?"
"We… uh…" Penny deflated, "Sorry but I don't think we can salvage this situation Ruby, you have to Remember Ruby the people see you as their God Queen, while they follow and listen to you the Church will fight you for a Violent Response."
Ruby flinched, "Is there no way for us to save the ponies?"
"Only if Ponykind gives up all rights as a separate nation and the ones responsible are punished with your 'Godly' Might." Penny admitted sadly.
"Are we even sure it is Ponykind that did this?" Penny asked nervously, "The Pirate Alliance could have also done it!"
Everyone was silent, Ruby's eyes slowly widened, "oh Shit Siva, I want RONI to start an investigation, all restraints off." Ruby scowled, "This day was supposed to be good, we were supposed to show our Cooperation between Ponies and the Imperials."
"Queen Rose, how can we help?" Twilight asked, this caused a betrayed expression to form on Rainbow's face.
"Unless you can help expose the culprit, nothing, this is not your business, this is being investigated by the Imperial as it was an attack on us."
Ruby turned away and scowled.
RESC Fleet #109, or Uncovered, was a small fleet of a single heavy cruiser and larger number of Frigates. It was part of the scout union, at the moment it was traveling the edge of Imperial space on the search for Pirate ships. However they did not find the pirates, the Pirates found Them.
Captain Asvu of the Uncovered, was suddenly jolted awake as the alarms started to blare, "Status?!"
"Unknown Capital ship to our left, energy builds up in the bow of the ship!"
"It's a weapon, we won't be able to defend against that attack!"
Asvu shouted, "Divert all power from the ship to shields, I don't care what we deactivate, we have to survive that attack!" He yells as he sends out a message across the Highcom Communication buoy,
"Understood!"
"It's firing!"
"All crew Brace for impact!"
The Energy lance tore through the shields like paper and sliced the Heavy Cruiser Uncovered, in two. The two halves were quickly destroyed by the enemy ship turrets that also ripped through the Frigates.
No one survived the attack.
Summer's eyebrow raised at the last message of one of her scout ships, 'Unknown Hostile, ship style cylindrical with a large cannon extending 300 meters from the center of the ship, Covered in thick Hazva Armor plating. Length: 7.9 kilometers, Height:2.4 kilometers, Width:2.4 kilometers.' Summer frowned as she read the message in her head, 'These must be the ones responsible for the attack on the castle as this message's date was only an hour after the attack. However the issue is, who is this?'
Summer sent a message to the Royal family, "This is Mother Rose, we have found a possible culprit for the attack."
Ruby stared at the holographic display for the ship that attacked her scout fleet, "I know who did it."
Everyone went silent as they turned and looked at Ruby, "Well, who did it Rubaby?" Yang asked.
"Ironjohn of the Ironpirates, that ship is the Havok, a stolen ship that was in development 76 years ago, it was supposed to be a support Carrier ship, supporting our Super carriers, it's design allowed it to use all 360 degrees of landing space across the ship hull, it could hold around 12 Escort corvettes. What stumps me is that the Ironpirates never did such a blatant attack, hell they have been one of most peaceful pirate groups on the list, they have one of the lowest threat rankings." Ruby frowned, "something big seems to be coming, I am not sure if we are ready for it."
Years began to pass with no more incidents, the amazing thing was this attack actually caused The Imperial citizens and the Equus citizens to become powerful allies and soon almost all of the Equus countries joined the Imperial. With the defense of the Imperial conflicts against the Mane Six entirely stopped as no matter how powerful one was, they could not defeat Orbital bombardment. As a Result of the two mixing their species quickly started to mix thousands of planets under the Imperial.
Changelings, once feared by ponies and many others became the best infiltrators and spies within the Imperial, Ponies of all kinds were brought under a single banner that united them into a powerful force. Dragon-kind like the Changelings became known for their military might, while many more species joined.
Nothing really changed with the Imperial except that more Corruption was rooted out with the alliance of Changelings and Symbiotes.
However one day, something changed, something… big.

Deep in space floating aimlessly was a singular ship, a ship considered Lost with all hands by their leaders.
Covered in Titanium-A armor plating the massive 2.5 kilometer long ship exited from a space cloud showing the damaged hull that still held strong. On the side inscribed with bright white letters proudly stands the UNSC Spirit of Fire. The beautiful but damaged ship is quickly detected by a nearby Scout ship.
"Oh?" The Captain, a Blue Dragon, smirks. "Well, I doubt that is a Pirate ship," He quickly sent a broadcast over his channel, "Attention unknown ship, this is Imperial Space, your presence is unknown however we wish for peace and talks before conflicts arise. However if we deem you a threat in any capabilities we will instantly consider war against your faction and act as such. We will wait for a response." Captain Azure smiled, "So? Any signs of Response?" Azure asked his AI Heart.
"N-Nothing M-Master, Ho-however I was able to gather some information of the ship, the UNSC Spirit of Fire, they serve the U-United N-N-Nations S-spa-Space C-Co-Comamand." Azure raised an eyebrow, "We… We can state that their threat level is around 7/10, while the Covenant, the species they are at war with, is around 8.5/10 unlike our 9/10. However the UNSC are victims of the Covenant who seem to be a species bent on the eradication of the Human race."
"Inform the queen immediately, this is Code black!"
"Understood Captain!"
"Cap! We just received a message from the Spirit Of Fire!"
"What is it?"
"SOS The Spirit of Fire is experiencing an Alien Infection known as the Flood, predicted survival if outside help is at 45%!"
