Now, let us begin this chapter...

The early dawn painted the sky with hues of pink and orange as Kiran stood on top of one of the balconies of Somniel, gazing intently at the Breidablik in his hands. The soft sound of footsteps reached his ears, and he turned to find Alear and Fjorm approaching the tower.

"Good morning, Kiran," Alear greeted with a warm smile, her eyes filled with curiosity. "What brings you up here so early in the morning?"

Kiran shifted his gaze from the Breidablik to Alear, a hint of weariness in his eyes. "Oh, good morning, Alear," he replied. "I just had a lot on my mind, and I needed some time alone to gather my thoughts. By the way, how's your stay in Somniel, Fjorm?"

"Well, it's as accommodating here as it is in Askr Castle," Fjorm replied, standing beside Alear.

Then, she spoke up, her voice tinged with concern. "I couldn't help but notice, Kiran, that you've been spending quite a bit of time with your Breidablik lately. Is everything alright?"

Kiran listened attentively to Alear and Fjorm's concerns, taking a moment to gather his thoughts before responding. "The Breidablik has been going through some changes," he began, his voice filled with a mix of curiosity and intrigue. "It seems that the divine relic has been absorbing residual energies from the Emblems themselves."

Alear's smile widened, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Is that so? I think we discussed that a few days before, Kiran," she replied, her voice filled with wonder. "It's fascinating to think about the interactions within the Breidablik. The convergence of divine and Emblem energies must create a unique dynamic."

Intrigued by the possibilities, Alear turned to her Emblem Ring, calling upon Emblem Marth. The emblem on her ring glowed brightly, and within moments, Emblem Marth materialized before them. His presence exuded a dignified aura as he regarded Kiran with keen interest.

Kiran met Emblem Marth's gaze, feeling a sense of reverence in his presence. "Emblem Marth, what are your thoughts on the changes in the Breidablik?" Alear inquired, her eyes shining with anticipation.

Emblem Marth contemplated for a moment, his voice carrying wisdom and insight. "I can sense a mixture of divine and Emblem energies within Kiran's Breidablik," he replied. "The fusion of these energies is a rare occurrence, and it piques my curiosity as well. There may be untapped potential within the relic, waiting to be harnessed."

Alear's curiosity deepened, and she leaned forward, her eyes filled with excitement. "I wonder what kind of interactions take place within the Breidablik," she mused. "It could hold the key to unlocking new powers or revealing hidden truths."

Emblem Marth's revelation hung in the air, capturing the attention of the group. It was then that Fjorm's voice broke the silence, her tone filled with a mix of nostalgia and wonder. "This reminds me of the time when Kiran's Breidablik was coated in a layer of ice," she shared, her eyes glimmering with memories. "It happened during the Rite of Frost, back when Nifl and Muspell were locked in fierce conflict."

Alear's smile widened, her curiosity piqued. "Oh, Fjorm, I'd love to hear more about your adventures with Kiran and the Order of Heroes," she exclaimed, anticipation evident in her voice. "Perhaps we could discuss it over breakfast?"

Fjorm's eyes lit up at the suggestion, and she nodded eagerly. "That sounds wonderful, Alear. I would be delighted to share our tales," she replied, her voice filled with warmth and camaraderie. Turning to Kiran, she extended an invitation. "Kiran, would you like to join us for breakfast? It would be a perfect time to reminisce and enjoy a meal together."

Kiran smiled, grateful for the offer. "Thank you, Fjorm. I would be honored to join you and Alear," he replied, his voice reflecting his appreciation. The idea of sharing stories and strengthening their bonds over a meal resonated deeply with him.

As the group made their way toward the dining hall, they carried with them the weight of their shared experiences, the mysteries of Kiran's Breidablik, and the anticipation of the tales yet to be told. And so, amidst the warmth of friendship and the promise of a new day, Kiran, Fjorm, and Alear embarked on their breakfast, ready to discuss past adventures and present prospects.

Emblems And Heroes

A Fire Emblem Heroes x Fire Emblem Engage Crossover

Chapter 13: The Clash of Three Different Factions

After finishing their breakfast, Kiran used his Breidablik to open a portal to the border between Brodia and Elusia, where Diamant, the Crown Prince of Brodia, awaited their arrival. As Alear, Kiran, and Fjorm reached the border, a thick snowstorm settled in, adding an extra chill to the air.

Diamant stepped forward, his voice carrying over the howling wind. "Good morning, Alear, Kiran, and Fjorm," he greeted, his words laced with warmth despite the wintry weather.

Kiran shivered slightly, wrapping his cloak tighter around himself. "Indeed, it's rather chilly and snowy for a morning," he remarked with a hint of amusement in his voice.

Fjorm couldn't help but smile at Kiran's comment, her connection to the Kingdom of Ice making her feel right at home in this wintry landscape. She had grown accustomed to the cold, and it reminded her of her kingdom, Nifl.

Alear approached Diamant, her eyes filled with curiosity. "Diamant, where is your father, King Morion?" she inquired, her voice carrying a note of concern.

Alear, Kiran, and Fjorm listened intently as Diamant responded to Alear's question about his father, King Morion. His voice carried a mixture of determination and concern.

"My father, King Morion, is headed to the front line," Diamant explained, his words laced with a sense of responsibility. "His orders were for me to wait here with the rear guard, ensuring the safety of our borders."

As he spoke, Diamant reached into his pocket and he retrieved the Ring of the Young Lion, a symbol of his lineage and the kingdom he represented. With a solemn expression, he gave the Emblem Ring to Alear.

"However," Diamant continued, his voice steady, "Before he left, my father entrusted me with this. He wants you to have the Ring of the Young Lion, Alear."

Alear's eyes widened in surprise, her gaze shifting between the ring and Diamant. She took a moment to process the weight of the gesture. Finally, she found her voice and spoke, her words filled with gratitude and confusion.

"Diamant, you didn't give the Emblem Ring to your father?" Alear inquired, her voice tinged with curiosity and concern.

Just as the question left her lips, an ethereal glow emanated from the Ring of the Young Lion. Emblem Roy, the legendary hero, manifested before them, his presence commanding and reassuring. He regarded Alear with a gentle smile.

"No, Alear," Emblem Roy explained, his voice carrying a sense of wisdom. "If anything were to happen, King Morion wants to ensure the safety of the Emblem Ring. He believes in your abilities and trusts you to safeguard Brodia's Emblem Ring."

As Alear graciously accepted the Ring of the Young Lion from Diamant, he spoke to her with a sense of conviction. "Alear, my father wants a fair fight," he explained, his voice resonating with the pride of his people. "It stems from our Brodian sense of honor and pride. He wishes to stand on his strength, and he asks that we respect that."

Kiran's brows furrowed, concern etching across his face as he interjected. "Diamant, Elusia may not share the same code of honor as Brodia," he warned, his voice laced with a tinge of unease. "I have a bad feeling about this battle."

Alear turned to Kiran, her voice filled with determination. "We need to be ready, just in case," she said, her words carrying a sense of urgency. "Kiran, use your Breidablik to open a portal to Somniel. We need to bring in Alfred, Celine, Alcryst, and all available retainers."

Kiran nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. He gripped his Breidablik tightly, focusing his energy on opening a portal to Somniel. With a surge of power, a shimmering gateway materialized before them.

Diamant observed the portal with awe, his voice filled with admiration. "I must say, Kiran, I'm impressed by the capabilities of your divine artifact," he remarked, genuine appreciation evident in his tone. "It seems the Breidablik can do more than just summon Heroes."

Fjorm joined the conversation, her voice carrying a hint of intrigue. "Indeed, the Breidablik is changing," she explained, her eyes reflecting her understanding of the relic's evolution. "The intertwining of divine and Emblem energies has brought about new possibilities."

As the portal began to stabilize, their allies emerged one by one, ready to join the battle. Alear, Kiran, Fjorm, and Diamant exchanged determined glances, knowing that the time to take their place on the battlefield was drawing near.

As Alear, Kiran, and their allies stepped onto the snowy battlefield, the chaotic clash between the Brodian forces and the combined Elusian and Corrupted soldiers unfolded before them. The air was thick with tension and the sounds of clashing weapons.

Alear's voice cut through the chaos, her words filled with a mix of determination and concern. "The battle has begun," she declared, her eyes scanning the scene before her.

"Ugh, this snowstorm is making it hard to see who's who at the distance," Celine muttered. "At least, Emblem Celica is keeping me warm despite being underdressed in this weather."

Then, Kiran, his gaze fixed on the enemy compositions, spoke with a hint of unease. "It doesn't look good for Brodia," he remarked, his worried voice tinged. "Elusia seems to be liberally using their soldiers alongside the Corrupted, creating a formidable force."

"Zappy! I agree with Kiran here," Yunaka added. "The Brodians are losing more soldiers faster than they could slay Elusians and Corrupted combined."

"Yeah," Alcryst replied as he also surveyed the battlefield. "This doesn't look good at all."

The weight of the situation settled heavily upon them, the odds stacked against their allies. Alear and Kiran exchanged a glance, their shared concern reflected in their eyes.

With the battlefield stretching out before them, they knew the challenges that lay ahead would be great. The clash of swords, the fury of spells, and the cries of warriors echoed through the snowy expanse.

Amid the chaos and the clash of swords, King Morion of Brodia found himself face-to-face with King Hyacinth of Elusia. The tension crackled in the air as the two monarchs locked eyes.

Hyacinth's voice carried a note of warning as he spoke to Morion. "Your invasions of Elusia come at a very high price," he declared, his words laced with a mix of defiance and caution.

Morion couldn't help but laugh at Hyacinth's declaration, his voice filled with confidence. "And do you truly believe that Elusia can withstand the might of Brodia?" he retorted, his gaze unwavering. "We are a force to be reckoned with."

Hyacinth let out a chuckle of his own, a glimmer of amusement dancing in his eyes. "Ah, but you underestimate us, Morion," he countered, his voice tinged with a hint of mystery. "My army is blessed by Lord Sombron himself, and we stand united in our cause."

In a swift and fierce motion, Morion lunged towards Hyacinth, his sword aimed to strike. But Hyacinth, with agile grace, managed to dodge most of Morion's attacks, his movements a blend of skill and instinct.

However, in the heat of the battle, Morion seized an opportunity. With a well-timed diagonal swing, he landed a powerful blow that sent Hyacinth sprawling onto the ground. As Hyacinth attempted to rise, Morion swiftly moved, pointing his sword directly at him.

Breathing heavily, Morion taunted his fallen adversary. "Is that all the power your dragon has, Hyacinth?" he sneered, his voice filled with confidence and triumph.

Hyacinth, still on the ground, met Morion's gaze with a determined look. With a hint of defiance, he replied, "Lord Sombron is not yet at full strength. Our true power will be unleashed once the ritual is completed."

Morion's eyes widened in disbelief as he witnessed the revelation before him. Hyacinth produced what appeared to be an Emblem Ring, and slid it onto his left hand. The weight of the situation became clear as Hyacinth spoke, his voice carrying a chilling determination.

"For the ritual to empower Lord Sombron to full strength," Hyacinth stated, his words filled with a sinister edge, "a sacrifice of royal blood is needed."

Fear gripped Morion's heart as Hyacinth tightened his grip on his sword. The air around them crackled with dark energy, and Morion felt a heavy weight pressing upon him. His body became rigid, unable to move or utter a single word as if ensnared by the dark magics that Hyacinth had unleashed.

As the somber atmosphere thickened, a corrupted visage of Emblem Lyn materialized beside Hyacinth. A twisted reflection of her former self, she emanated an aura of malevolence.

With a swift motion, Hyacinth covered his right arm in a shroud of dark magic. A surge of power coursed through his veins as he unleashed a devastating punch directly into Morion's chest. The force of the blow sent Morion hurtling backward, tumbling several feet across the snowy ground.

As they all saw King Hyacinth knocking King Morion down to the ground and his forces decimated by the combined Elusian and Corrupted forces, Diamant's voice rang out urgently as he spoke to Alear, his concern evident in his tone.

"We need to help my father right now," Diamant urged, his eyes fixed on the fallen figure of King Morion. The weight of the situation pressed upon him, and he knew they couldn't waste a single moment.

Alear nodded in agreement, her voice filled with determination. "We have to act quickly," she replied, her gaze focused on the scene unfolding before them. "I hope there's still enough time to rescue King Morion."

"Then, we need to move now," Alfred added. "I hope we can make it in time."

Without hesitation, Alear, Kiran, Diamant, and the rest of their allies sprinted toward the fallen king, their footsteps pounding against the snowy battlefield. The urgency in their movements mirrored the gravity of the situation, their shared goal to reach Morion and free him from his captors.

Hyacinth couldn't help but smirk, a twisted satisfaction evident on his face. "The former King of Brodia has lost the battle," he taunted, his voice dripping with malicious triumph. As if on cue, several Elusian and Corrupted soldiers surrounded Morion's unconscious form, preparing to whisk him away.

Alear, Kiran, and their group arrived at the scene, only to witness the grim sight of Elusian and Corrupted soldiers hauling King Morion's unconscious body away from the battlefield. The sense of frustration and urgency hung heavy in the air.

Diamant clenched his teeth, his grip tightening around his sword. His voice carried a mix of anger and determination as he spoke, "They're taking my father away!" The desperation to rescue his beloved parent fueled his resolve to take action.

Kiran, understanding the severity of the situation, replied with a hint of resignation, "The enemy won't allow us to retrieve Morion from their clutches easily." He knew the opposition would fiercely guard their captive, making their task even more challenging.

Then, Ivy stepped in front of her father, Hyacinth. As Ivy approached Alear, Kiran, and their group, Kiran couldn't help but notice that Ivy was frowning as she stared at Alear, Kiran, and the rest of their allies, as if she was... reluctant to be on the battlefield.

"Unfortunately, Prince Diamant, Kiran Pathfinder is correct," Ivy remarked in a somber tone. Her words echoed the harsh reality they faced, acknowledging the difficult path ahead.

"Princess Ivy!" Alear exclaimed.

Then, Hyacinth turned his gaze towards his daughter, Ivy, his voice laced with authority and a hint of displeasure. "You will hold the line against Alear, Kiran, and their allies," he commanded as his words were dripping with punishment. "Consider it retribution for losing the Ring of the Sage Lord and for questioning me too much."

Kiran, standing nearby, listened attentively to the exchange between Hyacinth and Ivy. The weight of the situation settled upon him, and he couldn't help but mutter under his breath, "So Ivy did take my advice and confront her father."

Baldraz, the spirit residing within the Breidablik, spoke directly to Kiran, validating his earlier intuitions. "Your instincts about Princess Ivy were correct," he confirmed, his ethereal voice carrying a sense of wisdom and insight.

Hyacinth's voice rang out with an air of authority as he addressed his daughter, Ivy. "You must reclaim the Emblem Rings and capture Kiran Pathfinder at all costs," he declared, his words weighted with the gravity of their mission. With his instructions given, Hyacinth prepared to depart for Elusia.

As her father turned to leave the battlefield, Ivy's voice trembled with a somber tone. "He wants me to buy time by dying on the battlefield," she murmured, the weight of her words reflecting the cruel reality of her father's intentions. The realization of her father's plan weighed heavily upon her.

Alear and Kiran stood nearby, silently observing the exchange between Hyacinth and Ivy. Alear's voice was filled with disgust as she spoke to Kiran, her words dripping with contempt.

"King Hyacinth is cruel enough to send his daughter, Ivy, to her death," Alear uttered, expressing her revulsion at Hyacinth's callous actions.

Kiran's voice carried a tinge of reminiscence as he spoke to Alear, drawing a parallel between their current situation and a past event. "This reminds me of the time when Hel sent her adopted daughter, Eir, to her death on the battlefield," he remarked, his words tinged with a mix of sadness and understanding.

"I agree," Fjorm replied. "But, at least Eir joined the Order of Heroes after that battle."

Diamant, joining the conversation, spoke up with a sense of urgency. "It may be too late to chase after the group that took King Morion's body," he admitted, his voice laced with determination. "But we must drive back Princess Ivy's forces, for the sake of Brodia."

Alear nodded in agreement, her gaze focused and resolute. "You're right," She replies to Diamant. And then, she said to Kiran in a firm voice. "Kiran, it's time for you to summon your Heroes and bolster our forces. We need every advantage we can get."

Fjorm turned to Kiran, her voice filled with determination. "I suggest you summon my siblings to the battle," she suggested, her eyes focused on their shared goal.

Kiran, considering Fjorm's suggestion, replied, "With this snowstorm, I feel it's appropriate to summon Gunnthra, Hrid, and Ylgr into battle." He understood the importance of having Fjorm's siblings by their side in this crucial fight.

Alear, recalling Kiran's earlier explanation back at Lythos Castle, interjected, her voice filled with recognition. "I remember you mentioning the Nifl royal family," she remarked, acknowledging the significance of Fjorm's lineage. "Fjorm herself is a member of that family."

Kiran nodded, affirming Alear's observation. "You're right," he agreed, a sense of anticipation in his voice. Understanding the potential strength they could wield, he raised his Breidablik, his finger poised on the trigger. Without hesitation, he fired three orbs toward the snowy sky, each one representing a different color - red, green, and blue.

As the three orbs descended from the sky, Kiran's voice resonated with power and determination. "Gathering stars to call upon those who bear the blood of Nifl, the God of Ice!" he chanted, his words carrying a sense of summoning magic. "Heed my call and become the path its light shines upon!"

With a soft thud, the three orbs landed gracefully on the snowy ground. Kiran continued his incantation, his voice growing stronger. "Hero Summon! I call forth Gunnthra, Hrid, and Ylgr into the battlefield!"

As if responding to Kiran's call, the orbs began to transform, their surfaces swirling with ethereal energy. In an awe-inspiring display, the portals took form, and with a burst of light, Gunnthra, Hrid, and Ylgr emerged from within. Alear, Kiran, Fjorm, and the rest of their allies stared as Hrid, Gunnthra, and Ylgr made their presence known.

Hrid, the eldest prince of Nifl, drew his sword, Gjoll, with a determined grip as his horse reared up. "I am Hrid, the eldest prince of Nifl, the Kingdom of Ice," he introduced himself, his voice steady and resolute. "I will assist you, Kiran, and your allies with everything I have."

Gunnthra, holding her Blizzard tome with practiced ease, stepped forward. "I am Gunnthra, the eldest princess of Nifl," She announced on horseback, her voice carrying a hint of regality. "Whenever you need my aid, Kiran, I am ready to lend my powers."

Ylgr, the youngest princess of Nifl, brandished her dagger, Sylgr, with excitement gleaming in her eyes. "I'm Ylgr, the youngest princess of Nifl!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with youthful enthusiasm. "And now, I'm finally on a big, big, big adventure with you, Kiran!"

Fjorm's heart filled with joy as she ran towards her siblings, a smile adorning her face. "It's good to see you all after so long," she exclaimed, her voice filled with warmth and relief.

Gunnthra, the eldest princess of Nifl, spoke up, her eyes sparkling with determination. "Fjorm, we have heard Kiran's call for help," she stated, her voice carrying a sense of purpose. "Hrid, Ylgr, and I were all summoned here to do that."

Alear, acknowledging the significance of the moment, addressed the Nifl royal siblings. "It is a great honor to meet the rest of the Nifl royal family," she expressed, her words filled with respect and admiration.

Hrid, the eldest prince of Nifl, offered a nod in response. "The honor is ours as well," he replied, his voice carrying a tone of appreciation. "It is an honor to meet and fight alongside Kiran's allies in Elyos."

Meanwhile, Yunaka turned to Ylgr, a warm smile on her face. "Well, aren't you just a little snow cutie?" she remarked, her voice filled with affection. "Hiya Papaya! I'm Yunaka, one of Kiran's friends here in Elyos."

Ylgr, reciprocating the warmth, replied with a playful tone. "Nice to meet you, Yunaka," she said, her voice brimming with youthful energy. "I'm Ylgr, and it's nice to meet one of Kiran's friends in Elyos!"

Meanwhile, Alfred approached Kiran, his voice filled with admiration. "The Nifl royals match perfectly with the snowstorm right now," he commented, his words expressing appreciation for the synchronicity of the moment.

Celine, joining the conversation, expressed her desire for a peaceful moment amidst the chaos of battle. "I would love to have tea with them after the battle," she stated, her voice carrying a longing for tranquility.

Kiran nodded, understanding Celine's request. "Of course," he replied, his voice filled with reassurance. "After the battle, you can have tea with them."

The meeting between Fjorm, Gunnthra, Hrid, Ylgr, and Kiran's allies in Elyos marked the convergence of two groups, united by a common cause. Bonds were formed, alliances solidified, and the weight of their shared mission rested upon their shoulders as the group readied themselves against an army of Elusians and Corrupted looming over them.

On the other side of the battlefield, Ivy, flanked by her retainers Zelkov and Kagetsu, observed the scene unfolding before them. Her eyes focused on Kiran as he summoned his Heroes into the battle. "Kiran Pathfinder has summoned his Heroes," she stated, her voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and concern.

Kagetsu, his expression grave, responded to Ivy's observation. "This battle will not end well for us," he predicted, his voice laced with a hint of pessimism. He understood the formidable power that Kiran and his summoned Heroes possessed.

Zelkov, ever vigilant, turned to Ivy, his tone filled with curiosity. "Did you receive *another* Emblem Ring from your father?" he inquired, his eyes searching for any sign of the familiar heirloom.

Ivy shook her head in response, her eyes glancing off into the distance. "You heard him speaking to me earlier. I have no Emblem Ring with me right now," she admitted, her voice carrying a mix of disappointment and longing.

Ivy turned her attention to her loyal retainers, Zelkov and Kagetsu, her voice filled with a mixture of determination and concern. "We may be fighting a losing battle," she addressed them, her words carrying a weight of reality. "If either of you wishes to leave, I won't hold it against you. You have the freedom to make that choice."

Kagetsu, standing tall and resolute, met Ivy's gaze and spoke with unwavering loyalty. "As your retainer, I will stay with you until the end," he declared, his voice filled with conviction. He had made his choice, and it was to fight by Ivy's side, no matter the odds.

Zelkov, showing unwavering support, stepped forward and spoke firmly. "I shall *stay* by your side as well," he reassured Ivy, his voice reflecting his unwavering dedication. His loyalty to Ivy and their cause was unyielding.

Ivy's eyes widened at the unwavering loyalty of her retainers, a mixture of gratitude and determination shining in her gaze. "So be it," she declared, her voice filled with resolve. She knew then that she was not alone in this battle, that she had steadfast allies who were willing to face the challenges ahead alongside her.

Then, Ivy turned to her loyal retainers, Zelkov and Kagetsu, a somber expression on her face. "You both must head to the northern and southern forts," she instructed them, her voice carrying a sense of urgency. "There are two groups of Corrupted waiting there."

Zelkov and Kagetsu nodded in understanding, their expressions determined. They knew the importance of their task and the role they played in the upcoming battle. Without a word, they set off toward their assigned positions, ready to face the enemy forces.

Meanwhile, Ivy mounted her wyvern, her gaze scanning the battlefield. "This battle will only end one way," She murmured with her voice tinged with solemnity. She knew the gravity of the situation and the sacrifices that would be made.

With a steady resolve, Ivy reigned in her wyvern as she saw Elusian and Corrupted forces charged into the snowstorm. From her wyvern, Ivy could see Alear, Kiran, their allies, and Kiran's summoned Heroes ready themselves for battle. Then, as Elusian soldiers and the Corrupted charged towards the battlefield, Ivy knew that the battle had finally begun.

As the chaos of battle intensified, Alfred, Celine, and their respective retainers found themselves face to face with a group of Elusian and Corrupted soldiers.

Alfred turned to his younger sister, Celine, with his voice firm and determined. "Celine, my retainers Boucheron and Etie will take on this group," he stated, his words carrying a sense of confidence. "You and your retainers Louis and Chloe, deal with the other enemy battalion."

Celine, holding her Joyous Tome tightly, nodded in acknowledgment. She could sense the gravity of the situation and the need for caution.

"You better be careful out there, brother," Celine advised, her voice filled with concern for his safety. The bond between them was evident in her heartfelt words.

With a final glance exchanged between them, Alfred and Celine prepared to face their respective foes. The clash of weapons echoed in the air as the battle resumed, each group of combatants engaging in a fierce struggle for dominance.

Alfred, Boucheron, and Etie fought with skill and precision, their determination unwavering. Meanwhile, Celine, Louis, and Chloe unleashed their magic and combat prowess to overcome their adversaries.

As Alfred and his retainers valiantly fought off the enemy, Louis's voice cut through the din of battle. "Princess Celine, there's a group of Corrupted heading our way!" he warned, his tone urgent. The imminent threat demanded their immediate attention.

Just as the situation seemed dire, Gunnthra, the eldest princess of Nifl, swiftly rode her horse towards Celine. Holding her Blizzard tome with determination, she offered her assistance. "Celine, do you need help?" she asked, her voice filled with a sense of solidarity.

Celine, grateful for the timely arrival, nodded appreciatively at Gunnthra. "Thank you for your aid, Gunnthra," she replied, her voice carrying a mix of relief and determination. The unexpected alliance between the two princesses added strength to their cause.

"Two women talking to each other during a battle," Louis remarked as he glanced at Celine and Gunnthra's conversation. "This is... nice."

Chloe, another one of Celine's retainers, couldn't help but marvel at the scene unfolding before her. "It's like a fairytale," she remarked, her voice filled with awe. "Two princesses fighting side by side amidst the snowstorm of battle."

Gunnthra, her voice steady and determined, addressed Celine and her retainers with a sense of urgency. "Be ready, everyone. The enemy group is approaching," she warned, her eyes focused on the oncoming threat. They needed to brace themselves for the impending battle.

Celine, Louis, and Chloe prepared themselves for the fight, their instincts honed and their weapons at the ready. As the Corrupted closed in, their movements swift and menacing, Gunnthra unleashed the power of her Blizzard tome.

With a wave of her hand, a chilling gust of wind enveloped the battlefield. The spell took hold, freezing several of the Corrupted in their tracks. The icy grip tightened, causing some of the frozen enemies to shatter into pieces while the rest became encased in a thick layer of frost.

Celine, witnessing the frozen enemies before her, knew what needed to be done. Focusing her magic, she cast a spell from her Joyous Tome, directing it towards the remaining Corrupted. "I will do what I must," she affirmed, her voice resolute.

With a surge of energy, her spell struck the frozen foes, shattering their icy prisons. The battlefield echoed with the sound of crumbling ice as the last remnants of the enemy group were vanquished.

After defeating the group of Corrupted that attacked their group, Celine, her curiosity piqued, turned to Gunnthra, her voice filled with questions. "Gunnthra, I noticed that frost covering the Corrupted we were fighting. What was that?" she inquired, her tone eager for an explanation.

Gunnthra, her expression calm and composed, explained. "That was my Chilling Seal," she replied, her voice carrying a hint of pride. "It's a form of magic unique to me. It magically chills the enemy, weakening them more than usual."

Celine listened intently, intrigued by Gunnthra's explanation. The notion of such specialized magic that could exploit the vulnerabilities of their foes fascinated her. She couldn't help but wonder about the extent of Gunnthra's powers.

As they stood amidst the snow-covered battlefield, Gunnthra continued her explanation, her voice tinged with speculation. "I believe the current snowstorm might have amplified the effects of my Chilling Seal," she mused, her eyes scanning the wintry landscape. "The cold and frost seem to have merged with my magic, creating a more potent and chilling effect."

"I see," Celine nodded as she gripped her Joyous Tome. "Your Chilling Seal is a powerful ability."

"Celine," Gunnthra began, her voice filled with a sense of pride and gratitude. "Thank you for acknowledging the power of my Chilling Seal. It is indeed a formidable ability."

Celine smiled warmly, appreciating Gunnthra's modesty. "You're welcome, Gunnthra. Your Chilling Seal has proven to be a valuable asset in battle," she replied, admiration evident in her voice.

Gunnthra's smile widened, a glimmer of excitement in her eyes. "You know, my older brother, Hrid, possesses a similar ability called the Freezing Seal," she shared, her voice filled with fondness and camaraderie. "We make quite the duo when fighting alongside each other."

Just as they began to delve further into their discussion, another group of Corrupted approached their location, interrupting their conversation. Gunnthra's attention swiftly shifted, her focus shifting to the imminent threat. "We can discuss this later," she said, her voice firm yet laced with determination.

Celine nodded in agreement, her resolve unwavering. "You're right, Gunnthra. Let's deal with this group of Corrupted first," she affirmed, her voice filled with determination. She turned to her retainers, Louis and Chloe. "Louis, Chloe, let's fight them off together!"

With their weapons at the ready, Celine, Louis, and Chloe engaged the new group of Corrupted, their movements swift and precise. The clash of steel and the surge of magic filled the air as they fought with unwavering resolve.

Amidst the chaos, Celine's mind briefly wandered to the conversation with Gunnthra. She couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement at the prospect of learning more about Hrid's abilities and the potential cooperation between their two kingdoms.

But for now, their focus remained on the battle at hand. Celine, alongside her loyal retainers, fought valiantly, their determination unwavering as they pushed back the encroaching darkness.

As the battle raged on, Yunaka and Ylgr fought alongside Alcryst and his two loyal retainers, Citrinne and Lapis. The air crackled with magic and the clash of weapons as Citrinne and Lapis fought off a group of Corrupted and Elusian soldiers, their skills on full display.

Alcryst, recognizing the threat posed by the enemy mages and archers, swiftly readied his bow. With expert precision, he let loose a volley of arrows, aiming to thin the enemy ranks and provide cover for his comrades.

However, as Alcryst focused on the distant foes, two dark globs materialized in front of him. In a matter of seconds, two Corrupted archers emerged from the shadows with their bows and arrows glinting menacingly in their hands.

Sensing the imminent danger, Ylgr's instincts kicked in. Ylgr ran towards Alcryst with Yunaka following her lead.

With her weapon, Sylgr, at the ready, she sprinted towards Alcryst. "Watch out for that archer!" she called out urgently, her voice filled with concern.

Ylgr, with her aim true and her determination unwavering, hurled her Sylgr dagger at one of the Corrupted archers. The blade found its mark, striking the archer with deadly precision. As their body froze in place, the ice crystallized, and as Sylgr flew back to Ylgr's hand, the frozen body of the Corrupted archer shattered into pieces.

A wide grin spread across Ylgr's face as she witnessed the defeat of her foe. "That was so much fun!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with exhilaration after defeating the Corrupted Thief. The thrill of battle coursed through her veins, fueling her with renewed energy.

Meanwhile, Alcryst, inspired by Ylgr's success, readied his bow once more. With steady hands and focused intent, he aimed at the remaining Corrupted Archer. "I hope this is enough," he murmured, his voice laced with determination.

The arrow flew through the air, finding its mark with precision. The Corrupted archer staggered with their grip on its bow and arrow faltering. Alcryst's shot had proven effective, providing a critical blow to their enemy.

As the battle settled, Lapis, one of Alcryst's loyal retainers, approached the prince with concern etched on her face. "Prince Alcryst, are you alright?" she asked, her voice filled with genuine worry.

Alcryst turned to face Lapis, a grateful smile playing on his lips. "I'm fine," he reassured her, his voice carrying a sense of relief. "Princess Ylgr saved me."

Yunaka, her voice laced with concern, spoke up, expressing her worries about the appearance of the Corrupted forces on the battlefield. "Zappy! That's fine and all," she began, her tone tinged with unease, "But, we really can't afford to lower our guard here."

Ylgr, understanding Yunaka's concerns, nodded in agreement. "That's why we need to watch each other's backs," she added, her voice filled with a mix of frustration and determination.

Citrinne, one of Alcryst's trusted retainers, turned to Prince Alcryst and posed a question. "What do you think about this, Prince Alcryst?" she inquired, her voice tinged with curiosity.

Alcryst sighed softly, his brows furrowing as he considered the situation. "I don't know," he admitted, his voice filled with uncertainty. "But I have a bad feeling about this."

As if on cue, another battalion of Corrupted lunged towards their group, interrupting their discussion. The urgency of the situation became apparent, and all thoughts of conversation were set aside.

Without hesitation, the group rallied together, their weapons at the ready. The clash of steel and the flurry of magic filled the air as they fought off the approaching enemies.

Amid the chaotic battlefield, Diamant, Brodia's crown prince, fought alongside his loyal retainer, Amber. As they engaged in combat, their attention was momentarily drawn to a figure in the distance. Diamant's eyes narrowed as he recognized the woman clad in heavy armor, fiercely battling against a Corrupted soldier.

"That woman fighting over there," Diamant began, his voice filled with recognition. "That's one of my retainers, Jade."

Hrid, the eldest prince of Nifl, turned to Diamant, his expression filled with determination. "I offer my aid, Diamant," he declared, his voice laced with resolve. "Together, we shall rescue Jade from the clutches of the Corrupted."

Diamant nodded gratefully, appreciating Hrid's willingness to assist. "I agree," he replied, his voice resolute. "We must reach Jade and ensure her safety."

Amber, their trusted retainer, interjected with concern. "Prince Diamant, I hope our group reaches Jade in time," he voiced, his words filled with a mix of worry and determination.

As they continued to fight against the encroaching enemies, their focus remained on the distant figure of Jade, fighting valiantly. With every strike and parry, they inched closer to her, their hearts filled with the shared purpose of rescuing their comrade.

Meanwhile, Jade, her skills honed through rigorous training, clashed weapons with a formidable Corrupted armored soldier. With each strike, she parried the enemy's attacks, her movements precise and calculated. As the intensity of the battle escalated, Jade couldn't help but express her frustration. "So much for meditation," she muttered under her breath, her voice tinged with a hint of annoyance.

During Jade's duel, a sudden arrival caught her attention. Diamant, Amber, and Hrid emerged on the scene, their presence bolstering her spirits. With renewed determination, Jade parried another attack from the Corrupted soldier, her gaze briefly shifting toward her comrades.

Hrid, wielding his sword, Gjoll, readied himself for battle. With his Freezing Seal activated, he lunged on horseback at the Corrupted armored soldier without hesitation, his movements swift and deliberate. As his blade connected with the enemy, Hrid's voice rang out with conviction. "Ice upon you!" he exclaimed, his words filled with a commanding authority.

With each strike, Hrid's sword inflicted freezing power upon the Corrupted armored soldier. The cold magic encased the enemy in a layer of ice, rendering it motionless. In a dramatic climax, the frozen soldier shattered into countless pieces, its threat vanquished.

Jade couldn't help but feel a sense of relief and gratitude as she witnessed Hrid's decisive blow. The arrival of her comrades had turned the tide of battle in their favor, their unified strength proving to be an unstoppable force against the encroaching darkness.

After Hrid's victorious defeat of the Corrupted armored soldier that had been attacking Jade, Diamant approached her, a sense of relief evident on his face. "We arrived just in time, Jade," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.

"Prince Diamant," Jade replied, still catching her breath "I'm ready to help bring King Morion back,"

Jade knew that their mission was far from over, and she was prepared to do whatever it took to restore their king to his rightful place.

"Then, we mustn't waste any more time," Diamant said to Jade. "We need to defeat these Elusians and the Corrupted."

However, before Jade could fully process the situation, her attention turned to Hrid, the prince who had come to their aid. She looked at Diamant, her curiosity piqued. "Prince Diamant, who is he?" she asked, her voice laced with intrigue.

Diamant glanced at Hrid, a knowing smile playing on his lips. "I'll explain who Hrid is to you later, Jade," he replied, his voice carrying a sense of mystery. He understood that there were more pressing matters at hand, and he didn't want to divert their focus from the impending battle.

As if on cue, another group of Corrupted and Elusians charged towards their group, their intentions clear. The urgency of the situation prompted everyone to take up arms once more, their resolve unwavering.

With weapons at the ready, they faced the charging enemy, their hearts united in their common purpose. The clash of steel and the surge of magic filled the air as they fought off the encroaching threat. Each group member fought with unwavering determination, knowing that the fate of their kingdom hung in the balance.

From atop her wyvern, Ivy, the crown princess of Elusia, surveyed the expansive snowy battlefield. Her stern gaze swept across the chaos below, taking note of Alear, Kiran, and their allies as they engaged in fierce combat. With each passing moment, they effortlessly defeated every Elusian and Corrupted soldier that dared to challenge them.

Letting out a weary sigh, Ivy couldn't help but feel a mix of frustration and resignation. "I was expecting that outcome," she muttered to herself, her voice filled with a hint of disappointment. The prowess of Alear, Kiran, and the Heroes had proven formidable, leaving little room for doubt.

However, as Ivy continued to observe the battlefield, her attention was suddenly drawn to multiple dark globs that materialized within the snowy ground. Her eyes widened with curiosity and apprehension as several unfamiliar soldiers emerged from the shadows, their presence shrouded in mystery.

Her voice barely above a whisper, Ivy muttered to herself, "Who are these soldiers?" The sight of these unknown warriors added another layer of complexity to the already tumultuous situation.

As the unfamiliar soldiers launched their assault, attacking both Elusians and Corrupted with ruthless efficiency, Ivy stood frozen in shock. The unexpected turn of events left her momentarily speechless, her mind racing to comprehend the situation unfolding before her eyes.

Amidst the chaos, a smug feminine voice reached Ivy's ears, its tone filled with arrogance. "My Curse Directive forces are superior to your pitiful combined Elusian and Corrupted forces," the voice taunted, sending a chill down Ivy's spine. The words resonated with a sense of superiority, leaving Ivy with a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach.

Determined to face this new threat head-on, Ivy swiftly turned her wyvern around. Her eyes locked on a white-haired woman, her figure draped in a black dress adorned with purple accents. The white-haired woman exuded an air of power and menace, her presence commanding attention.

Without hesitation, the white-haired woman snapped her fingers, a signal that brought forth more of the unfamiliar soldiers from the globs of darkness that littered the snowy ground. Ivy watched in disbelief as the reinforcements joined the relentless attack, targeting both Elusians and Corrupted without discrimination.

The sight of Elusians and Corrupted fighting the unfamiliar soldiers and subsequently falling before her only fueled Ivy's resolve. Ivy knew that she couldn't stand idly by while she and her forces were threatened by this newfound force.

With her Elfire tome in hand, Ivy mustered her courage and addressed the white-haired woman before her. "Who are you?" she demanded, her voice filled with determination.

"You must be Ivy, Elusia's crown princess?" The woman remarked as she faced against Ivy. "I am Ebony, the Shadow Director of the Curse Directive."

Then, Ebony readied her tome, Ormt. A smug smile played upon Ebony's lips as she responded to Ivy's question, which made Ivy glare at Ebony.

"Princess Ivy," Ebony sneered, her voice dripping with arrogance. "You have the misfortune of meeting me on this battlefield."

Confusion clouded Ivy's expression as she tried to make sense of Ebony's cryptic words. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice tinged with urgency. Ivy couldn't fathom why she would be singled out by this enigmatic woman.

Ebony's response was laced with a hint of mystery, leaving Ivy on edge. "You'll soon find out," she replied, her voice carrying an air of anticipation. The implication hung heavily in the air, further fueling Ivy's determination to unravel the secrets that shrouded Ebony and her Curse Directive.

Ivy's eyes narrowed with determination as she locked her gaze on Ebony. With a swift incantation, she conjured a fiery fireball from her Elfire tome, launching it toward her adversary. However, Ebony swiftly countered, wielding her Ormt tome to send forth a dark shadow orb that collided with Ivy's attack, effectively canceling it out.

As the clash of opposing forces subsided momentarily, Ebony spoke, her voice laced with a hint of grudging admiration. "You can hold your own in a fight, it seems, as expected of Elusia's crown princess," she remarked, her words acknowledging Ivy's prowess as Elusia's crown princess.

Ivy, unyielding and defiant, responded to Ebony's words with a touch of defiance. "What of it?" she retorted, her voice tinged with a hint of defiance. Ivy refused to be swayed by any praise that might be offered by her adversary.

Ebony's response was laced with sarcasm, her smugness evident as she prepared for her next move. "Oh, it's just a pleasure to fight someone of your caliber," she replied, her voice dripping with insincerity.

Ivy reigned in her wyvern as she fired several volleys of fireballs from her Elfire tome straight at Ebony. In response, Ebony readied her Ormt and fired several volleys of shadow orbs to intercept Ivy's fireball attacks.

Sensing an opening, Ebony conjured another shadow orb that erupted from her tome, Ormt, hurtling towards Ivy with malevolence. Ivy's eyes widened in sheer horror as the shadow orb hurtled towards her, its deadly trajectory leaving her with no chance to intercept or evade the fatal attack in time. Her heart pounded in her chest, a mix of fear and desperation flooding her senses.

However, just as all hope seemed lost, a sudden burst of white light intervened, intercepting the shadow orb. The two opposing forces collided, canceling each other out in a brilliant display of power. Ivy's eyes searched for the source of her salvation, and to her relief, she turned her wyvern around to find Alear, Kiran, and Fjorm running towards her.

Among them, it was Kiran who had deflected Ebony's attack using his Breidablik, his actions saving Ivy from an otherwise dire fate. Then, Alear, concern etched on her face, approached Ivy and wasted no time in voicing her worry.

"Princess Ivy," Alear asked, her voice filled with genuine concern. "Are you alright?"

"Divine One, I'm alright," Ivy responded as she looked at Alear and Kiran, her voice filled with a mix of relief and confusion. "But, why did you and Kiran Pathfinder save me? Aren't we enemies on this battlefield?"

Noticing Ivy's bewilderment, Kiran stepped forward and addressed her concerns. "That's true. We were enemies just moments ago," he explained, his voice carrying a touch of weariness. "But, everything changed when Ebony and her Curse Directive forces attacked. They targeted everyone else indiscriminately, from Elusians to Corrupted, and even me, Alear, and our allies."

The realization hit Ivy like a sudden revelation. Their common enemy had forced Alear, Kiran, and their allies into an unexpected alliance. The severity of the situation had overridden their previous animosity, uniting them against a greater threat.

Ebony, ever the sarcastic provocateur, clapped her hands mockingly towards Alear, Kiran, Ivy, and Fjorm. Her voice dripped with disdain as she addressed the unlikely alliance. "Well, well, well. It seems you two managed to save Princess Ivy just in time," she taunted, her words laced with sarcasm and a hint of begrudging respect.

Kiran, unable to contain his snark, directed his words towards Ebony. "I thought you had a grudge against me, not Princess Ivy," he remarked, a touch of sarcasm evident in his tone. The unexpected turn of events had left Kiran bewildered, as he had assumed himself to be Ebony's main target.

"True, I do hold a particular resentment towards you, Kiran," Ebony, her smugness intact, admitted with a hint of amusement. "However, I wanted to test the abilities of my cursed bodies against someone of Ivy's caliber. She is Elusia's crown princess, after all."

Ebony's words hinted at a deeper purpose for targeting Ivy, one that went beyond personal grudges. As Kiran glared at Ebony, his eyes burning with intensity, he turned to Fjorm, the second princess of Nifl, who stood by their side. With a tone of authority as the Summoner, he turned his attention to Fjorm.

"Fjorm, I need you to guard Princess Ivy," Kiran said to Fjorm. "We can't afford to let our guard down."

Fjorm, ever loyal and ready to protect, readied her lance, Leiptr, her determination evident in her voice as she responded to Kiran. "I'll do everything in my power to protect Princess Ivy," she declared, her voice filled with resolve.

Alear, her eyes filled with righteous fury, pointed her sword, Libération, directly at Ebony. She wasted no time in expressing her disgust for Ebony's heinous acts. "First, you targeted Kiran, and now, Princess Ivy. I am utterly disgusted by your atrocities," Alear's voice resonated with a mix of anger and determination, her words a reflection of her unwavering resolve.

Ebony, never one to shy away from confrontation, taunted Alear with a sneer. "Alear, you may be Elyos' Divine Dragon, but you're still a naïve woman... And what are you going to do about it?" she jeered, her voice dripping with arrogance and defiance. Ebony seemed to revel in provoking her adversaries, relishing the chaos she had sown.

In response to Ebony's taunts, Alear channeled the power of her Emblem Ring, which is the Ring of the Hero-King. With a resolute voice, she declared, "Emblem Engage!" The transformation engulfed her, causing her to assume her Engage form, radiating power and determination.

As Alear's transformation took place, more and more Curse Directive soldiers manifested, surrounding Ebony. The sheer number and power of Alear's allies further emphasized the grave threat they posed to Ebony and her forces.

Ebony, observing the unfolding events, couldn't help but muse aloud. "So, that's your answer," she remarked, her voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and acknowledgment.

With the Elusian and Corrupted forces routed by the Curse Directive forces, the stakes were raised as Alear, Kiran, and their allies prepared to face Ebony head-on, an epic clash was imminent as the snowstorm intensified on the battlefield.

Ebony, her eyes gleaming with malicious intent, issued a command to her Curse Directive soldiers. "Keep Kiran's allies occupied," she ordered, her voice filled with authority and determination. Ebony had a singular focus in her mind—to personally confront Kiran himself.

Engaged in battle, Alear, in her formidable Engage form, fought off multiple Curse Directive soldiers who dared to challenge her, defeating each one of them quickly.

"Kiran, watch out!' Alear exclaimed. "Ebony is after you!"

Responding to Alear's plea, Kiran braced himself for Ebony's assault. True to her dark nature, Ebony conjured several shadow orbs and sent them hurtling towards Kiran with deadly precision. However, Kiran's skills were not to be underestimated. Swift and precise, he deftly fired several shots from his Breidablik, his aim true as he canceled out Ebony's attacks.

Kiran, analyzing the situation, couldn't help but remark on the evident increase in Ebony's power with her current cursed body.

"Your current cursed body seems to be much stronger than your previous one," Kiran observed, his tone a mix of curiosity and caution. Kiran's keen perception allowed him to recognize the heightened threat that Ebony now posed.

Ebony, her eyes gleaming with a sly smile, responded to Kiran's observation. "Why, thank you for the compliment," she purred, her voice dripping with a mixture of amusement and malice. However, Ebony made it clear that Kiran's words would not deter her from her ultimate goal of eliminating him. Her determination to end his life remained unshaken.

With a flick of her fingers, Ebony summoned two Curse Directive soldiers to carry out her bidding. An Archer Cavalry and an Axe Fighter materialized, their loyalty solely to Ebony. Following her orders, they moved towards Kiran, their weapons at the ready, preparing to attack.

During the imminent threat, Diamant and Alcryst, allies of Kiran, sprang into action. Diamant, a skilled warrior, engaged the Axe Fighter in combat, their weapons clashing in a fierce struggle. Meanwhile, Alcryst, a proficient archer, swiftly unleashed a volley of arrows towards the Archer Cavalry, aiming to disrupt their advance.

As Diamant and Alcryst swiftly dispatched the Axe Fighter and the Archer Cavalry, Kiran couldn't help but express his surprise at their timely intervention.

"Diamant and Alcryst? Thanks for intervening, but what happened to your retainers?" Kiran questioned, his voice filled with a mix of curiosity and concern. The sudden appearance of Diamant and Alcryst had caught Kiran off guard, leaving him wondering about the whereabouts of their respective allies.

Diamant, catching his breath after the battle, turned to Kiran and explained. "Our retainers are currently engaged in battling the Curse Directive forces," he informed, his voice tinged with a hint of weariness. The gravity of the situation was evident, as both Diamant's and Alcryst's retainers fought valiantly to hold back the encroaching darkness.

Alcryst, adjusting his stance, joined the conversation and addressed Kiran directly as he readied his bow. "Kiran, I know I may be over-explaining this, but you aided in the defense of Brodia Castle by summoning your Heroes," he revealed, his voice carrying a sense of determination. "It's only fair for my brother and I to return the favor to you somehow." Alcryst's words reflected a bond of camaraderie and a willingness to stand united against their common enemies.

Ebony's eyes burned with fury as she glared at Diamant and Alcryst. "How dare you intervene in my fight against Kiran!" she spat, her voice laced with anger and frustration. Ebony's sense of superiority had been challenged, and she resented any interference in her vendetta against Kiran.

Kiran, unyielding in the face of Ebony's accusation, retorted with conviction. "In all fairness, you ordered your soldiers to attack me first. You have no say in the matter," he shot back, his voice steady and resolute. Kiran refused to allow Ebony to shift blame or dictate the rules of engagement.

Undeterred by Kiran's response, Ebony summoned more Curse Directive soldiers, their menacing forms materializing on the battlefield. With a commanding tone, she ordered them to attack Diamant and Alcryst, seeking to eliminate the perceived threats to her plans.

As Diamant and Alcryst bravely fought off the onslaught of Curse Directive soldiers, Kiran's keen observation didn't go unnoticed. He noticed that with each enemy they defeated, both Diamant and Alcryst showed signs of weariness, their strength gradually waning. The toll of their continuous battle against the relentless forces of darkness was becoming evident.

Then, Baldraz, the wise spirit advisor residing within the Breidablik, spoke to Kiran, his voice filled with concern. "In their current states, the chances of Diamant and Alcryst prevailing against Ebony are quite low," he warned, with his words carrying a weight of caution. The odds seemed stacked against their allies, leaving them in a precarious position.

Kiran, feeling a sense of urgency, turned to Baldraz, seeking guidance. "Do you have any ideas?" he asked, his voice tinged with a mixture of hope and desperation. Kiran looked to Baldraz for any insight that could potentially turn the tide in their favor.

Baldraz, his ethereal form emanating wisdom, responded to Kiran's inquiry. "However, both Diamant and Alcryst possess the potential to be summoned as Heroes," he revealed, his voice carrying a glimmer of reassurance. The spirit advisor recognized the hidden strength within their allies and offered a solution that could potentially change the course of the battle.

Kiran's gaze shifted towards the Breidablik, contemplating Baldraz's words. "Is that so?" he muttered, his voice filled with a mix of intrigue and hope. The idea of summoning Diamant and Alcryst as Heroes held the promise of turning the tides of their struggle against Ebony.

Baldraz continued, his voice resonating with newfound confidence. "Kiran, the Breidablik has already changed after absorbing energies from the Emblems themselves. It now possesses the power to summon someone as a Hero on the spot, without the need for the Summoning Stone," he explained, his words carrying a sense of hope and possibility.

Kiran, channeling the potent magical energies within the Breidablik, recognized the need to divert Ebony's attention. With determination in his voice, he spoke, his words laced with urgency.

"Ebony needs to be preoccupied somehow," Kiran declared, his voice carrying a sense of purpose. Kiran understood that he had a crucial role to play in their plan.

After she defeated the last of the Curse Directive enemies that were attacking her, Alear, in her Engage form, raced towards Ebony, her voice reaching Kiran amidst the chaos. "Leave Ebony to me for a while," she called out, her voice filled with confidence. Alear understood the importance of creating a temporary distraction, allowing Kiran the opportunity to fulfill his task.

Ebony, sensing Alear's approach, reacted swiftly, conjuring shadow orbs from her Ormt tome and launching them towards Alear. Alear's instincts kicked in, and she evaded the incoming attacks with agile movements, her determination unwavering.

During the intense battle, Baldraz, the spirit advisor within the Breidablik, spoke to Kiran, his voice resonating with guidance. "Kiran, it's time," he said, his tone filled with a sense of purpose. "Load the Breidablik with two Golden Summon Orbs and aim them at Diamant and Alcryst."

Kiran, understanding the significance of this moment, focused his attention on the Breidablik. With a steady hand, he loaded the two Golden Summon Orbs, his actions driven by a deep sense of purpose.

As the two Golden Summon Orbs were carefully loaded into the Breidablik, Kiran began to chant, his voice filled with determination. "Gathering stars to call upon the two siblings from the Kingdom of Brodia! Become the path its light shines upon!" His words resonated with ancient power, carrying the weight of destiny.

With a resounding impact, the two Golden Summon Orbs were launched from the Breidablik, finding their mark on both Diamant and Alcryst. The sheer force of the summoning process unleashed a wave of energy that rippled through the battlefield, knocking away the Curse Directive forces that had been engaged in combat with the two siblings.

Kiran, witnessing the awe-inspiring sight, continued his chant, his voice reverberating with the magic of the moment. "Hero Summon! Be inducted as Heroes, Diamant, Rising Power, and Alcryst, Tender Archer!" His words echoed through the air, sealing their fate as the embodiment of heroism and strength.

In that instant, Diamant and Alcryst were transformed, their bodies enveloped in a radiant light. As the light faded, they emerged as the Heroes they were destined to become, their newfound powers radiating from within.

The summoning of Diamant and Alcryst as Heroes was a spectacle that momentarily brought the battlefield to a standstill. Combatants on both sides briefly paused their clashes, their attention captivated by the profound transformation taking place before their eyes.

Amber, one of Diamant's loyal retainers, broke the silence, his voice filled with awe and admiration. "Prince Diamant is now a Hero," he exclaimed, his words carrying a mix of reverence and pride. Witnessing his prince ascend to such heights of power filled Amber's heart with a sense of honor.

Jade, another of Diamant's steadfast retainers, couldn't contain her excitement at the sight before her. "I can write a book about this!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with enthusiasm. The magnitude of this moment, the summoning of Diamant as a Hero, inspired Jade's creative spirit, fueling her imagination.

Lapis, one of Alcryst's devoted retainers, expressed her heartfelt joy, her voice tinged with relief. "I'm glad that Prince Alcryst became a Hero," she said, her words reflecting a deep sense of gratitude. The transformation of Alcryst brought a renewed sense of hope to Lapis, as she recognized the immense potential he now possessed.

Citrinne, another of Alcryst's loyal retainers, couldn't help but admire the grandeur of the moment. "Both Prince Diamant and Prince Alcryst look dashing as Heroes," she remarked, her voice filled with admiration. The sight of Diamant and Alcryst, their new Heroic forms radiating strength and nobility, left Citrinne in awe of their heroic presence.

As Alear and Ebony were facing off, Alear's swift and powerful kick sent Ebony flying several feet away, causing her to crash onto the icy ground. As Ebony struggled to regain her footing, Alear turned her attention towards Kiran, a smile of satisfaction spreading across her face.

"Kiran did it," Alear whispered, her voice filled with admiration and pride. Witnessing Kiran summon Diamant and Alcryst as heroes filled Alear with a renewed sense of hope and determination.

Meanwhile, Ebony, still reeling from Alear's devastating attack, clenched her teeth in frustration. The unexpected turn of events had caught her off guard, and she seethed with anger.

"Damn you, Kiran," Ebony growled, her voice dripping with venom. "I... I didn't expect him to summon Heroes on the spot, and it had to be those two from the Kingdom of Brodia."

As Ebony's anger fueled her actions, she summoned a horde of Curse Directive soldiers to surround her.

"Keep the Divine One busy," Ebony commanded her newly summoned Curse Directive soldiers. "I shall go after Kiran myself."

While Ebony made a beeline towards Kiran, as Alear fought valiantly against the onslaught of Curse Directive forces, a familiar voice echoes in her mind. Emblem Marth, a source of guidance and support, reached out to her telepathically. "Are you alright?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.

Alear, her focus unwavering, swiftly dispatched one Curse Directive soldier after another, her movements precise and calculated. With determination in her voice, she responded to Emblem Marth's inquiry.

"I'm alright," Alear replied, her voice laced with confidence.

"Hmm, I suggest we finish off these Curse Directive soldiers as quickly as possible," Emblem Marth urged. "Afterwards, we can rejoin Kiran and defeat Ebony to end this battle."

"Sounds like a plan," Alear agreed. "But, I have faith in Kiran, especially now that Diamant and Alcryst have become Heroes, just like me."

In the fierce battle and the onslaught of enemies, Alear's unwavering trust in Kiran and their newfound allies propelled her forward. Even if she was surrounded by a battalion of Curse Directive soldiers summoned by Ebony, Alear stood confident, hoping that she would prevail and eventually rejoin Kiran after defeating the Curse Directive battalion that was targeting her.

As Ivy, the crown princess of Elusia, soared through the skies atop her trusty wyvern, Ivy's gaze was fixed on the unfolding scene below. Her eyes widened with awe and curiosity as she witnessed Kiran summoning Diamant and Alcryst as Heroes. "So, that is how Prince Diamant and Prince Alcryst were summoned as Heroes by Kiran himself," Ivy remarked, her voice filled with wonder and intrigue.

Fjorm, the second princess of Nifl, approached Ivy, her presence bringing a calm and composed demeanor to the chaotic battlefield. With a knowing smile, Fjorm spoke, her voice resonating with wisdom. "Kiran has a knack for befriending enemies and making them allies later on," she said, her words carrying a weight of truth and observation.

Ivy, intrigued by Fjorm's insight, took a moment to contemplate her words. The notion of Kiran's unique ability to bridge the gap between enemies and forge alliances lingered in Ivy's thoughts.

"Is that so? No wonder the Divine One gets along so well with Kiran Pathfinder," Ivy responded, her voice tinged with curiosity and a touch of admiration. As she mulled over Fjorm's words, Ivy couldn't help but wonder about the depths of Kiran's power and the strength of the bonds he formed with those he encountered.

As Ivy watched her retainers, Zelkov and Kagetsu, making their way towards her, a sense of urgency filled her. She turned to them, her voice tinged with concern. "What happened to the Corrupted stationed near the northern and southern forts?" she inquired, her words reflecting a need for information.

Zelkov, ever the observant, responded to Ivy's question, his voice carrying a note of gravity. "The Corrupted were *routed* by the new enemies," he replied, his words hinting at the power and prowess displayed by their adversaries. The defeat of the Corrupted left Zelkov with no doubt about the strength of these new foes.

Kagetsu, his voice filled with a mix of awe and admiration, interjected. "The Corrupted stood little to no chance," he stated, his words emphasizing the overwhelming advantage that their opponents held. The disparity in power between the Corrupted and their adversaries left Kagetsu in awe of the might displayed by these newcomers.

In a surprising turn, Zelkov, his determination evident, readied his daggers and directed his attention towards Fjorm. He turned to Ivy, seeking her permission for a course of action. "Princess Ivy, may I *eliminate* this woman?" he asked, his voice firm and resolute.

In response to Zelkov's request to eliminate Fjorm, Ivy raised her right hand, signaling her decision. "At ease, Zelkov. Fjorm is an ally at the moment," she stated calmly, her voice carrying a sense of authority.

The weight of her words settled upon Zelkov, who let out a sigh and reluctantly sheathed his daggers, accepting Ivy's judgment.

Kagetsu, his curiosity piqued, chimed in, his voice laced with intrigue. "It is peculiar that Fjorm and her allies are now fighting alongside us, given the current circumstances," he mused, his words reflecting the unexpected alliances formed on the battlefield. The ever-changing dynamics of the conflict left Kagetsu contemplating the intricate web of loyalties and motivations at play.

Just as their discussion reached a pause, a group of Curse Directive soldiers emerged, their presence demanding immediate action. Without hesitation, Ivy, Zelkov, Kagetsu, and even Fjorm readied their weapons, their resolve unwavering. The impending threat forced them to set aside their contemplations and focus on the task at hand - defending themselves and fighting off the encroaching enemy.

After the successful summoning process, Diamant stepped forward, addressing Kiran with a regal demeanor. "I am Diamant, the crown prince of Brodia," he introduced himself, his voice filled with conviction. With a deep bow, he continued, "I am honored to be your new Hero, Kiran. I vow to protect Zenith and Elyos with all my might."

Alcryst followed suit, stepping forward and offering a humble introduction. "I am Alcryst, the second prince of Brodia," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of apology. He paused for a moment before continuing, "I'm sorry, Kiran. I know you were probably hoping for someone better, but I promise to do everything within my power to help you in any way I can."

As Kiran held his Breidablik, he focused his gaze on Diamant and Alcryst, his curiosity piqued by their unique abilities. To his surprise, he discovered that while Diamant possessed impressive Heroic qualities, Alcryst had been summoned as a Rearmed Hero.

Noticing Kiran's astonishment, Baldraz, the knowledgeable advisor, stepped forward, eager to provide further insight. "Diamant wields the Fair-Fight Blade," Baldraz explained, his voice carrying a touch of admiration. "It's a formidable greatsword that not only enhances his combat prowess but also makes it harder for both Diamant and his opponent to execute follow-up attacks. It ensures a fair fight, leveling the playing field."

Baldraz then turned his attention to Alcryst, the Rearmed Hero. "Alcryst's new weapon is called the Arcane Darkbow," Baldraz revealed, his voice filled with intrigue. "With this bow in hand, Alcryst gains the advantage of making a follow-up attack before his foe can even attempt to counterattack. It grants him a swift and decisive advantage on the battlefield."

As Ebony charged towards Kiran, her presence commanding and menacing, she summoned two more Curse Directive soldiers to join her. With a wicked grin, she spoke, her voice dripping with malice, "You'll pay with your life for daring to summon new Heroes, Kiran."

Kiran's attention shifted to Ebony's condition, noticing the dark splotches that covered her battered and bruised cursed body. He realized that she was already reaching her limit, the toll of her cursed existence evident.

Meanwhile, Alcryst and Diamant swiftly moved into action, dispatching the two newly summoned Curse Directive soldiers with ease. As the battle unfolded, Diamant turned his attention to Kiran, his voice filled with curiosity. "Why was Ebony only able to summon two Curse Directive soldiers this time?" he inquired, seeking to understand the limitations of their formidable enemy.

Alcryst, his keen observation in play, remarked on the noticeable difference in strength between the soldiers Ebony had summoned compared to the previous adversaries they had faced earlier in the battle. "These soldiers seem weaker than before," he commented, his voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and concern.

Kiran, recognizing the underlying cause of Ebony's power and its toll on her, directed his attention to Diamant. "Ebony is utilizing a cursed body," Kiran explained, his voice filled with a mixture of sympathy and understanding. "Using such a powerful curse is taking its toll on her. It's consuming her from within."

Diamant's eyes narrowed as he absorbed the information, realizing the urgency of the situation. "We must act swiftly and finish Ebony off," he declared, his voice firm and resolute. "It's the only way to bring an end to this battle before she summons more reinforcements."

Alcryst, standing by his brother's side, nodded in agreement. "Um, I can see that Ebony is becoming more unhinged by the moment," he added, his voice reflecting a mix of concern and determination.

Ebony, fueled by anger and desperation, swiftly readied her Ormt tome, launching shadow orbs directly at Kiran. Reacting with swift precision, Kiran countered the attack, firing magic bolts from his Breidablik. The opposing magical projectiles clashed in mid-air, canceling each other out.

Frustration laced Ebony's voice as she raged at Kiran, her words filled with disbelief. "Why won't you die?" she spat, her voice dripping with venom. The intensity of the battle had taken a toll on Ebony, leaving her exhausted and teetering on the edge.

Seeing the opportunity presented before them, Kiran swiftly seized the moment, his voice carrying a glimmer of determination. "Now is the time," he spoke to Diamant and Alcryst, his voice filled with conviction. "Let's attack Ebony while she is weakened and exhausted."

Diamant, understanding the significance of the moment, immediately agreed with Kiran. "Agreed," he responded, his voice resonating with a sense of purpose. "It's time to finish this battle."

Alcryst, with his aim true and his resolve unwavering, unleashed a volley of arrows from his Arcane Darkbow. Each arrow found its mark, piercing Ebony's cursed body in several places. As his arrows struck, Alcryst's voice rang out with determination, "I will protect everyone!"

Staggered by Alcryst's relentless assault, Ebony found herself vulnerable. Seizing the opportunity, Diamant surged forward, his Fair-Fight Blade ablaze with an intense red heat. With a powerful strike, Diamant brought his sword down upon Ebony, his voice resolute, "I'll prove my worth!"

The impact of Diamant's igneous strike was devastating. Ebony, already weakened and on the brink, could no longer bear the strain on her cursed body.

"No, no... No! My curse body..." Ebony stuttered as she struggled to maintain her balance. "This cursed body can't keep up... You'll pay for this, Kiran Pathfinder!"

Upon reaching the upper limits of her cursed body, Ebony crumpled to the icy ground, her cursed form breaking down into splotches of darkness that slowly faded away.

As Ebony's cursed body dissipated, the remaining Curse Directive forces she had summoned followed suit, their forms disintegrating into splotches of darkness. Kiran, his gaze sweeping across the battlefield, caught sight of Alear, Fjorm, and their allies, along with Ivy and her retainers, making their way towards him.

Alcryst, concern etched on his face, turned to Kiran, his voice laced with a hint of trepidation. "Do you think Ebony will return to Elyos?" he asked, his hopes evident in his tone. He desperately wished for a different outcome.

With a solemn expression, Kiran shook his head, his voice tinged with resignation. "I can safely since she used a cursed body, Ebony and her Curse Directive forces will return," he replied, his words heavy with the weight of their shared history. "She has made it clear that she is specifically targeting me. It's a personal vendetta."

As Kiran was surrounded by his allies, from Alear to Fjorm and her siblings and even Ivy and her retainers joining in, he sighed in relief, glad that the three-way battle was over.

With the entire group gravitating towards Kiran's side, Ivy, the crown princess of Elusia, directed her attention towards Alear, addressing her as the Divine One. Ivy's voice carried a tone of acceptance as she admitted her defeat, her words heavy with resignation. "I have lost the battle," she confessed, her voice tinged with a hint of surrender. "Do with me as you will, Divine One."

Alear, the weight of her position evident, responded to Ivy's plea. Her voice carried a touch of empathy as she addressed the crown princess.

"Princess Ivy, you can call me Alear, and I will not take your life," she stated firmly, her words filled with resolve. Alear continued, her tone holding a mix of understanding and practicality. "But, you cannot return to Elusia after this defeat."

Ivy's gaze fell to the icy ground, her heart heavy with the realization of her situation. Alear's words echoed the truth that she had come to accept. Her father, King Hyacinth, had essentially abandoned her to face the cruel fate of the battlefield alone. The weight of her father's actions settled heavily upon Ivy's shoulders, a burden she would have to carry as she navigated the uncertain path ahead.

Ivy's voice held a mix of curiosity and intrigue as she responded to Alear's words. "Is that so?" she questioned, her tone reflecting her desire for further understanding. Eager to hear their reasons, Ivy turned her attention to both Alear and Kiran. "I would like to know why both of you wish to spare me," she stated, her voice filled with genuine curiosity.

Kiran, speaking with empathy and compassion, addressed Ivy's concerns. "Princess Ivy, you are not just a participant in this battle, but also a victim," he explained, his voice resonating with understanding. "When Ebony's Curse Directive forces attacked you and your retainers, it was clear that you too suffered greatly."

Alear, her voice firm and resolute, interjected, providing insight into Ivy's father's actions. "If King Hyacinth truly wished for you to survive, he would have given you an Emblem Ring," she stated matter-of-factly. Alear's words carried a sense of truth, highlighting the absence of a symbolic gesture that could have protected Ivy in the chaos.

As Ivy absorbed Alear's explanation, the Divine One continued speaking, her voice filled with conviction. "Even without King Hyacinth's interference," Alear stated, "Ebony's Curse Directive forces and the relentless snowstorm would have undoubtedly stalled my group. Survival would have been a daunting challenge."

Kiran, his voice tinged with a mix of frustration and empathy, interjected, addressing Ivy directly. "Princess Ivy, it pains me to say this, but your father used you," he stated, his words heavy with the weight of truth. "He never intended for you to survive this battle."

Ivy let out a weary sigh, feeling the weight of the revelation settle upon her. Closing her eyes briefly, she contemplated the words of both Alear and Kiran. The reality of her father's intentions and the circumstances that had unfolded began to sink in. "You both have a point," Ivy acknowledged, her voice filled with a mixture of resignation and acceptance.

Ivy's gaze shifted between her loyal retainers, Zelkov and Kagetsu, before returning to Alear and Kiran. Her eyes locked with Alear's as she spoke, her voice filled with reverence. "Alear, you are my deity, and I hold immense respect for your wisdom," she declared, her words carrying a tone of acceptance. Ivy acknowledged that Alear's decision held great significance to her.

Turning her attention to Kiran, Ivy's expression softened, with a hint of admiration in her eyes. "Kiran Pathfinder, you are a powerful Summoner," she remarked, her voice tinged with genuine appreciation. "Not only on the battlefield but also outside of it, you are an intriguing individual and an interesting man." Ivy's words conveyed her fascination with Kiran's capabilities and the depth of his character.

Kiran, taken aback by the unexpected compliment, scratched his head sheepishly. "Uh, thank you, Princess Ivy," he responded, his voice modest.

The sincerity in Ivy's words made him both slightly uncomfortable and appreciative, unsure of how to fully accept the praise. Nevertheless, he acknowledged her words with gratitude, recognizing the genuine sentiment behind them.

Ivy's voice carried a sense of urgency as she addressed Alear and Kiran, her words laced with a proposal. "In exchange for sparing my life," she began, her tone resolute, "I will reveal the location where King Morion's body is being taken and the purpose behind it."

Diamant, his voice filled with a mix of desperation and determination, interjected, his words directed at Ivy. "You better not be lying," he warned, his voice edged with a hint of anger. The fate of his father's body weighed heavily upon him.

Ivy, meeting Diamant's gaze with a steady resolve, responded with a solemn admission. "My father, King Hyacinth, plans to perform a ritual," she revealed, her voice tinged with a mix of sorrow and apprehension. "The purpose of the ritual is to restore the power of the Fell Dragon Sombron."

Alear, her curiosity piqued, spoke up, her voice laced with intrigue. "I must admit, I am curious about the details of this ritual," she confessed, her words reflecting her fascination with the dark magic that lay at the heart of the impending ceremony.

Alear's eyes met Ivy's nod, acknowledging her words. Ivy's voice carried a sense of knowledge and understanding as she responded to Alear's question.

"Indeed, even though the Fell Dragon Sombron has been freed, his power has significantly diminished," Ivy confirmed, her tone tinged with a mix of caution and relief. The dragon's long imprisonment had taken a toll on his strength.

Kiran, his voice filled with curiosity, voiced his thoughts. "Being imprisoned for millennia must have weakened Sombron to the point where he can no longer transform into a dragon," he guessed, his words reflecting his understanding of the situation.

Ivy nodded in agreement, affirming Kiran's observation. "You are correct," she admitted, her voice holding a hint of gratitude for his insight. The power of transformation that Sombron once possessed was now beyond his reach, a consequence of his prolonged confinement.

Continuing her explanation, Ivy revealed a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness that loomed. "Ideally, Sombron had intended to obtain the 12 Emblem Rings," she revealed, her voice carrying a note of determination. "However, gathering all the rings will undoubtedly take time."

Alear's voice carried a mix of understanding and concern as she addressed Ivy, acknowledging the reasons behind Sombron's desire for the ritual. "I can comprehend why Sombron seeks to undergo such a ritual," she stated, her tone reflecting her empathy for the fallen dragon's plight.

Ivy, her voice tinged with a heavy sense of responsibility, responded to Alear's understanding. "The ritual holds the power to temporarily restore the strength of the Fell Dragon Sombron," she revealed, her words revealing the cost of such rejuvenation. "However, it requires that Sombron consume someone of sovereign blood."

Diamant's expression contorted into a grimace as he absorbed Ivy's words. The realization hit him hard, his voice filled with a mixture of anguish and anger. "So, that's why my father's body was taken from the battlefield," he muttered, his voice laced with bitterness. The truth about the fate of King Morion's body was a painful revelation for him to bear.

Ivy, meeting Diamant's gaze with a heavy heart, confirmed his suspicions. "It was indeed my father's plan from the start," she admitted, her voice filled with a mix of sorrow and regret. The sacrifice of King Morion, a man of sovereign blood, had been a part of her father's grand design to restore Sombron's power.

Diamant's gaze remained fixed on the snowy ground, his thoughts consumed by the weight of their predicament. Breaking the silence, Alear directed her words to Ivy, her voice filled with a sense of uncertainty.

"I wonder if we could reach the ritual site in time to stop it," Alear pondered aloud, her words reflecting the urgency of their mission.

Ivy, her voice resolute, responded to Alear's query. "The ritual is set to take place at Elusia's Destinea Cathedral," she revealed, her tone carrying a note of determination. Her knowledge of the ritual's location offered a glimmer of hope amidst the encroaching darkness.

Expanding on her statement, Ivy continued, her voice filled with a tinge of relief. "However, with the worsening snowstorm, the ritual will be delayed for a couple of days," she explained, acknowledging the impact of the weather on their timeline. The unforgiving snowstorm that had plagued them would inadvertently buy them some time, albeit temporarily.

Kiran, his voice reflecting a sense of understanding, chimed in. "Weather often plays a significant role in battles and events like these," he added, his words carrying a hint of wisdom. The unpredictable nature of the elements had the power to shape the outcome of their mission, and they would need to navigate its challenges accordingly.

Ivy, acknowledging Kiran's statement, spoke with a hint of agreement. "You're right, Kiran," she admitted, her voice tinged with a touch of sadness. "Ever since the return of Fell Dragon Sombron, my father, King Hyacinth, has not been himself."

Alear, her voice filled with a sense of compassion, directed her words to Ivy and her retainers. "I am offering you and your retainers asylum in Somniel," she declared, her tone conveying a genuine offer of help and safety.

Surprised by Alear's unexpected offer, Ivy responded, her voice betraying her astonishment. "You would offer us asylum?" she questioned, her words reflecting her disbelief. The idea of finding refuge in Somniel, a place she had heard of but never expected to seek sanctuary in, caught her off guard.

Alear, her voice calm and reassuring, explained her intentions. "Princess Ivy, you and your retainers will be treated with utmost care and respect in Somniel," she assured, her words carrying a sense of sincerity. "You have my word that no harm will come to you."

Ivy closed her eyes for a moment, allowing herself a moment of contemplation. As she opened her eyes, determination shone in her gaze. "Alear, I accept your offer of seeking asylum in Somniel," she declared, her voice filled with a mix of gratitude and resolve.

Alear, appreciative of Ivy's acceptance, offered her a nod of gratitude. "Thank you for accepting," she responded, her tone reflecting her genuine appreciation for Ivy's decision. The weight of responsibility lifted slightly, knowing that Ivy and her retainers would find safety in Somniel.

Turning her attention to Kiran, Alear made a request, her voice earnest. "Kiran, please use your Breidablik to open a portal to Somniel," she asked, her words carrying a sense of urgency. The power of the Breidablik held the key to their escape.

Kiran, understanding the gravity of the situation, nodded in acknowledgment. "I will open the way to Somniel," he affirmed, his voice filled with determination. Raising the Breidablik, he focused his energy, channeling it into a beam of light that he directed towards the snowy ground.

As the beam met the snowy surface, a portal materialized, leading to their destination - Somniel. The swirling vortex of the portal beckoned them, promising a new beginning and the safety they so desperately sought.

With the portal to Somniel now open, Ivy, Alear, Kiran, and their retainers stood on the precipice of change, but Ivy looked a bit hesitant to step into the portal.

"Come on, Princess Ivy," Kiran urged, his voice filled with encouragement. "Step into the portal. It will lead you to Somniel."

Ivy, grateful for Kiran's support, turned to both him and Alear, her voice filled with gratitude. "Thank you both for your generosity," she expressed, her words carrying a genuine appreciation.

With a nod, she motioned for her retainers to follow her lead as they, along with Alears their guide, followed up by Diamant, Alcryst, and their retainers, stepped into the portal, leaving the chaotic battlefield behind.

As the portal to Somniel remained open, Kiran found himself approached by Fjorm and her siblings - Hrid, Gunnthra, and Ylgr. Fjorm, her voice tinged with a mix of longing and hesitation, addressed Kiran. "My siblings wanted to stay in Elyos a little bit longer," she explained, her words reflecting their desire to linger in their current surroundings.

"Is that so?" Kiran replied to Fjorm, his voice carrying a hint of curiosity.

"Yeah! I wanted to explore beyond Nifl, Askr, and Zenith!" Ylgr cheerfully exclaimed. "I wonder if there are kids my age in Somniel?"

"Yes, there are young people back in Somniel, Ylgr," Kiran replied. "Clanne, Framme, and Jean. I'm sure they'll be delighted to meet you, Ylgr."

"And I'll be keeping an eye on my younger sister when we arrive in Somniel, Kiran," Gunnthra spoke as Ylgr trembled in excitement.

Hrid, the eldest prince of Nifl, chimed in, his voice filled with a mix of amusement and warmth. "Celine, the princess of Firene, wants to have tea with us after the battle," he revealed, a smile playing on his lips.

Celine, joining the conversation, added with a playful tone, "I did say that earlier in the battle, Kiran."

Alfred, the crown prince of Firene, couldn't resist joining in, patting Kiran on the back with a mischievous grin. "You can tell Hrid has big muscles underneath, can't you?" he teased, his voice filled with playful camaraderie.

"So you say," Kiran, slightly taken aback by the comment, replied with a hint of skepticism. "You always have a fascination with muscles, Alfred."

Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, Kiran let out a sigh. "Let's head back to Somniel to regroup," he suggested, his voice filled with a mix of weariness and determination. The snowy battlefield had taken its toll, and they needed a moment to gather their strength and plan their next move.

With their decision made, Kiran and his allies, Fjorm, Hrid, Celine, Alfred, and their retainers stepped into the awaiting portal that would lead them back to Somniel. Leaving the battleground behind, they embarked on the next phase of their journey, ready to face the challenges that awaited them in the safety and sanctuary of their newfound refuge.

To all the people who offered advice in brainstorming this story, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

And here are two Stingers this time...

Meanwhile, in Zenith, specifically in the Kingdom of Askr, Alfonse, Sharena, and Commander Anna collected the scattered Golden Summon Orbs near the Elyos Outrealm Gate in the Kingdom of Askr.

Alfonse spoke up, his voice filled with curiosity. "There seems to be a surge of Golden Summon Orbs appearing near the Outrealm Gate lately," he remarked, his gaze fixed on the shimmering orbs.

Sharena, joining the conversation, nodded in agreement. "It's true. Ever since Hrid, Gunnthra, and Ylgr were summoned to Elyos, the Elyos Outrealm Gate has been humming with energy," she explained, her voice reflecting the excitement of their recent discoveries.

Commander Anna, always one to ponder the possibilities, chimed in, her voice filled with wonder. "I wonder if this could be a sign of things to come," she mused, her gaze fixed on the orbs as she contemplated the potential implications.

As Alfonse, Sharena, and Commander Anna turned around, their eyes fell upon Veronica, Embla's Princess Rising, gracefully approaching them on horseback. Alfonse, ever polite, greeted Veronica with a nod. "Princess Veronica, what has brought you here?" he inquired, his voice filled with genuine curiosity.

Veronica, her expression serious, met Alfonse's gaze. "My soldiers have found a potential location of the Curse Directive forces," she replied, her voice carrying a sense of urgency. The weight of the impending threat hung in the air, driving her to seek assistance.

Commander Anna, quick to take charge, interjected with authority. "We can discuss this inside the castle," she suggested, her voice conveying a sense of practicality. The walls of Askr Castle would provide a secure setting for their conversation, away from prying eyes.

With several Golden Summon Orbs in their possession, a testament to their recent endeavors, the group made their way back to the Elyos Outrealm Gate. Bidding farewell to the swirling portal that had connected them to a world of battles and uncertainty, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and Veronica left the Elyos Outrealm Gate behind, heading towards the safety and strategic planning of Askr Castle.

As the sun began to rise, casting a warm glow over the hidden encampment nestled on the border between the Kingdom of Askr and the Emblian Empire, Ebony slowly stirred from her slumber within her tent. Groggy and disoriented, she took in her surroundings, her eyes adjusting to the dim light filtering through the fabric.

Shade, one of the skilled thieves belonging to the Curse Directive, approached Ebony, concern etched on his face. "Shadow Director Ebony, you've been unconscious for several hours," he informed her, his voice laced with worry. The aftermath of utilizing the power of one of the black jewels had taken its toll on her.

Ebony, her voice filled with determination, responded with a hint of weariness. "I used a cursed body to appear in Elyos again," she revealed, her words carrying a mix of purpose and defiance. Confronting Kiran and his allies was a task she had set upon herself, regardless of the consequences.

Shade approached Ebony with a sense of urgency, his voice filled with concern. "Shadow Director Ebony, we have to relocate to another location," he informed her, his words carrying a weight of necessity.

Confused, Ebony looked at Shade and asked, "Why would you suggest that?" Her voice held a mix of curiosity and apprehension, unsure of the reasoning behind his request.

With a calm demeanor, Shade replied, his voice measured and composed. "Princess Veronica has been informed of our location," he explained, the seriousness of the situation evident in his tone. "Her soldiers have scouted the area."

Ebony's expression turned serious as the realization sank in. "This happened while my real body was unconscious," she stated, her voice tinged with frustration. The vulnerability of her situation dawned upon her, knowing that her enemies had gained knowledge of their whereabouts during her incapacitated state.

Shade nodded in acknowledgment, his voice steady. "Our Curse Directive soldiers did kill Veronica's scout, but Princess Veronica has been informed nonetheless," he revealed, the underlying tension palpable. The enemy was aware, and caution was of utmost importance.

Sighing in frustration, Ebony met Shade's eyes and nodded in agreement. "I approve the order to evacuate from this area," she stated firmly, her voice reflecting her determination. The necessity of their retreat weighed heavily on her, but she understood the importance of adapting to the situation.

Summoning her powers with a snap of her fingers, Ebony called upon her Curse Directive soldiers, their eerie forms materializing before her. "These summoned soldiers will provide the diversion we need against Princess Veronica's forces," she explained to Shade, her voice filled with calculated strategy. The Puppets would buy them the precious time they required.

Rising from her tent, Ebony took charge, her voice commanding. "As the Shadow Director of the Curse Directive, I order a proper withdrawal from this area," she ordered, her tone leaving no room for hesitation. The urgency of the situation was clear, and they needed to execute their retreat with precision.

As her living soldiers began to evacuate, Ebony continued to summon more soldiers, their numbers increasing with each passing moment. It was a race against time, and Ebony knew that stalling for every precious second was crucial to their escape.

With her living soldiers in motion and the summoned Curse Directive forces providing a diversion, Ebony's focus remained unwavering. The encampment that had once been their refuge was now a battleground, and it was up to Ebony and her forces to navigate the chaos and secure their survival.
