Chapter 1 - Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's
A group of mechanics were wheeling in a large crate standing around 7 feet tall, give or take a few inches, into a room decorated with ocean and pirate-themed banners and decorations for a child's party. Positioned to the right of the room, taking up the space of the entire wall, is a semi-circle stage being covered with a purple curtain with golden stars strewn across the front of the fabric. Another man, dressed in more formal attire, smiles from the sidelines as the crate is brought in. "Alright! Just bring her in here and sit her right next to Foxy."
One of the mechanics walks over and pulls the curtain open as another one of the mechanics places a ramp at the edge of the stage to get the crate up on the platform. An older animatronic red fox, who was wearing a pair of worn brown shorts, an eyepatch across the right eye, has a hook for the right hand, and a few golden teeth, was already standing on the wooden stage. Some patches of the fox's fur were missing, as were the materials that once covered the legs and other hand, but the kids loved him anyway.
Once the crate had been set down beside the fox animatronic, who the formal man called Foxy, the other men went to work opening the crate to reveal what was being held inside. Within the crate was a red-furred cat animatronic dressed in a tan shirt, an open black vest lined with gold accents, brown pants that were torn at the ends with a red sash tied around the waist, and black boots covering the feet. On the mechanical feline's stiff face was a friendly smile showing with the brown color of the eyes.
"Congrats Foxy, you got yourself a first mate." the well-dressed man said to the animatronic cat with a proud smile. After the mechanical cat had been placed, one of the mechanics came in and stepped up onto the stage. He was behind the cat first, checking the wiring in the back to make sure nothing had shifted during the moving process. Once done, he moved to Foxy and installed a chip inside his central information database to update his vocals to include the new animatronic in his stories told during the parties.
Eventually, the mechanic stands up and begins wiping his hands on a rag to clean off any oil or dirt as he looks at the formal man. "Alright Mr. Fazbear, they're all set," he informs the higher up.
Mr. Fazbear nods his head hearing the good news. "Excellent, just give the other a quick tune-up and you're all finished. The restaurant will be opening soon, so I want them in top shape!" he told the mechanic with a confident smile. This new animatronic would be a great new add-on to the pizzeria to help draw in new customers.
"Understood." the mechanic said as he gave Foxy a quick look over and touch up before leaving the room soon after finishing his job, leaving Mr. Fazbear in the room alone with the two large mechanical animals.
Looking at the fox and cat animatronics for a little longer, he smiles at the feline once more before saying, "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, Kitten" then turns and walks out of Pirate's Cove to return to his office before the restaurant opens.
