Let be fucking for real, Natsu Dragneel is a very charming man. He would say so himself, his father would vouch for him, any woman who he dares grace his presence to, and so would his beautiful loving girlfriend. And let's not forget the men who wish they could be him and can't be with the men who want to be with him but can't be.
Natsu Dragneel was one sexy motherfucker who knew his way around a woman's body and had such a clever tongue that he would be able to get himself out of any situation if he truly tried.
There's not many things out there that scare him. Maybe clowns because they are honestly super terrifying with their make-up and balloon animal making skills and the stupid fucking polka dotted costume. And maybe those mannequins at the mall that have the faceless heads all decorated in jewelry and hats. And maybe those giant ass spiders that are bigger than his head and could hunt down rabbits and bats. And maybe—
The point was that Natsu was not afraid of many things but the idea of having to meet his girlfriend's rich ass daddy kind of made him shake in his boots.
Kind of.
Not a lot but maybe a little tremble as if he was a kid trapped in a dark room.
Okay, who was he fucking kidding, he was fucking scared shitless about having to meet Lucy's dad and he was panicking in the inside because if his girlfriend saw that he was panicking on the outside then she might not allow him to come back home with her and he reallyreallyreally wants to see what her house looks like in the inside (him and his brother's google searched their home to see what kind of life Lucy really lived way back when). And also wants to see how rich people lived because they are Heartfillia rich which means Lucy probably never has to work a day in her life and keep it that way even if they were to go bankrupt. He knew that the bastard had to have a safe full of cash or something out in the foreign waters of bumfuck.
He didn't know but he did watch a fuckton of movies so it had to be true in some sense.
Right?
Wrong.
Also, the idea of having the privilege of seeing his girlfriend's childhood bedroom and possibly fucking her on it was overpowering his fear of meeting his girfriend's dad because what a fucking privilege that truly was. Being able to finally cum on her sheets thanks to a man who knows what the hell he was doing. Not like those other fucking losers that didn't have the right or privilege to be ever so graced in a beauty like Lucy Heartfillia.
That was what got him pumped up and forced his fear down aggressively because quite frankly, he's never been introduced to his girlfriend's parents because he didn't have fucking girlfriends. So this was a first and Lucy was quick to pop his cherry on this one (well, he's the one to blame considering he convinced her to introduce him) but he wasn't ready to part from her so soon.
He had just figured out what love was and he definitely wasn't going to force this distance upon them if he didn't have to. What if Lucy fell out of love with him in their time apart? Three months was a very long time and he sure as hell knew he wouldn't be able to survive without her that long.
Especially since she was hours away and not even down the street or across the street or even the next town over. She was way too far from him and if that meant he had to pack his shit and follow her around the goddamn world then that is what he was going to do!
It sounded very wrong and stalkerish but Natsu would like to consider himself a fanboy. Her number one fanboy. He would gladly roll out a red carpet for her and throw his shirt into a puddle to keep her dry. He would fucking climb the tallest fucking building to prove to her that he was worthy of her and he would bang on his naked chest while he was at it like he was King Kong because goddamn it, he is a king and Lucy is his!
The last couple of days spent with his father at his home made everything feel so much better. He was able to introduce his dad to her along with the many spots he liked to visit. Happy also got to meet her and fell in love with her as quick as he did and honestly the fact that he was waking up with her in his arms was a blessing itself.
He had become spoiled rotten with his father's home cooked meals and the leisure of fucking Lucy out in the woods like cavemen. He found himself picturing her as some kind of forest nymph or fairy and he was some kind of predator hunting her down.
Kinky because he sure as hell was going to fucking chase her through these woods one of these nights and force her into submission.
Not like she didn't submit on her own anyways, she was always too weak for his charm. (Nobody tell her that, though, please)
So how can anyone blame him that he was upset he had to leave the comfort of his daddy's house and his comfortable bed and his blue cat? It's not like he wanted to leave but at the same time he did. He wasn't going to let Lucy leave without him especially when it came to returning to a giant ass mansion where her own daddy neglected her. That was just asking for a heartbreak and a fist-fight waiting to happen.
"I'll be back dad, don't worry. You can't get rid of me just yet."
"Well, I hope not. I kind of picked you out of the entire liter and was hoping you would stick around," he grinned right back, nudging his son on the side who rolled his eyes at his father's jokes. It didn't stop his own smile from curving up on his lips. "Make sure you call me when you land."
"On it, boss." Natsu tipped his head at his father who returned the gesture. "We'll be back before we head back to school."
"Good. You're leaving half of your shit with me and I don't want that clutter." Natsu made a stank face at Igneel who ignored it, shoving him to the side as his favorite out of the two approached. Natsu yelped from the sudden shove as he stumbled to the side while Igneel was all tears, hugging the blonde as if she was his child and not him. "Oh, Lucy, can't you just send Natsu off and you stay? I'm going to miss you!"
"Dad!"
Lucy could only giggle, hugging back the larger man who clung onto her like she was his lifeline. "I will be back for sure, Igneel! You've treated me too well."
"My home is always welcome to you, my dear. Even if you dump his sorry ass—"
"Hey!"
"—my door will always be open for you. Come with your new boyfriend or husband or whatever! I'll make you a nice meal!"
"I'm right here!" Natsu shouted, trying to grab someone's attention but he was ignored, again.
"I sure will! Thank you so much for your hospitality. I'm sorry we're leaving so soon. I'd love to stick around and learn that sweet potato recipe!"
"I'll always have it for you."
Natsu could only feel like a brick fucking wall as he stood there watching his father speak so animatedly, his right eye twitching at the way he kept talking about Lucy and some other fucking guy.
As if his insecurity and anxiety wasn't enough that this beauty would one day grow tired of him.
"Alright, we're leaving!" Natsu shouted, grabbing Lucy by the arm to yank her to his side. He growled at his father who glared right at him, clearly annoyed he interrupted his time with his wannabe daughter.
"Jealousy never suited you, son. Find another color!"
"Look who's talking! She's mine!"
"It's not my fault your girlfriend likes me more than you!"
Natsu gasped dramatically, reeling back while he held a hand to his chest. "You fucking take that back! She does not!" He turned to look at Lucy who had an eyebrow quirked at his flustered expression. "Right? Tell him I'm right, babe. You like me more, right?!"
The silence was enough for Natsu to break down, the rosy-haired Dragneel crying dramatically like the drama queen he was while Lucy returned to her conversation with the red-haired male, completely unaware of her boyfriend's existence.
"Anyways, thank you for your hospitality. I will be back for sure."
"I'm looking forward to it," he placed a hand on her shoulder, giving it a small squeeze while he smiled.
Dragging Natsu back towards the car, the student fumed while Lucy gave his father one last hug. She hopped into the passenger seat, waving gracefully with a smile on her face. With the shut of the door, it was just the Dragneel men who stood in front of one another.
"You've got a fine lady, Natsu. Don't let her go." He placed a fatherly hand on his shoulder. "She's good for ya."
"I know," he huffed, shrugging his hand off, still fuming about what he implied. "I'm not planning on it but it seems like you certainly are."
Igneel rolled his eyes, swatting at his chest. "Oh grow a pair. I'm just pulling your leg. I think you and Lucy are a great couple. She takes your wild side."
Natsu rolled his eyes at that but a small smile cracked on his face. "I'll see you old man. Take care of yourself."
They shared one last bear hug, patting one another in the back before he hopped into the car and buckled himself in. The couple offered a wave goodbye to the red-haired male who swung his arms above his head in a giant wave, a wide grin on his handsome face.
Lucy giggled as she did the same, both hands shaking in front of her while Natsu held up a hand as they reversed and drove out of the beautiful property.
"Your father is such a sweet man!" Lucy gushed as they were back on the road. "I had a blast. Promise me you'll bring me back?" She leaned towards him, her hands clasped together while she batted her lashes at her smiling boyfriend.
"You heard the man. You're welcome back anytime."
"I wonder if he'd like my other boyfriends." She teased and Natsu was back to frowning. She giggled as she reached for his hand, lacing their fingers together while she leaned against his side. "I'm kidding."
"Are ya though?" He huffed, sharp eyes locked on the road.
"Of course!" She huffed right back, tilting her head as she leaned it against his shoulder to stare at his handsome face. "You said this was forever, no?"
"Yeah but your forever is different from mine, remember?"
"Forever still means forever." She moved her hand up to look at her naked fingers on her left hand, fingers wiggling in front of their faces. "But I'm still expecting a proper asking, you hear?"
"Aye," he couldn't help but smile, his eyes flickering down at her empty ring finger to the road. "I already vowed to keep you, baby. You never told me what kind of rings you like."
"You were serious about that?" She leaned away from him, eyebrow raised while she calculated his reaction. It was pretty hard to consider since he was facing forward and that grin of his was plastered on his face as if he won a million dollars. The corner of her lips twitched and she beamed, pulling her entire body and hands away from him as she fished out her phone. "Okay! I already have a few I like! Let me show you!"
"You already have a few? You've been looking?"
"Every girl knows what kind of ring she prefers," Lucy said, scrolling through her phone to find the folder. "I've known what I liked since middle school." She tipped her chin up high, proud of herself but Natsu simply snorted.
"Alright, lay it on me, Heartfillia."
Another thing added to his list of fears: having to actually propose to his girlfriend and marry her one day.
It wasn't the same type of fear he had like the clowns and giant spiders but it still scared him shitless to think he'd have to profess his love so endearingly and get down on one knee.
—X—
Natsu loved rich people.
Or the aspects of having money makes you more noticeable and less likely to struggle as he noticed that his little princess had everything covered for her. From valet to bag check to TSA was a breeze and Natsu never felt more appreciated than he did at this moment.
He usually hates flying or any type of transportation that he doesn't have control over. Planes are definitely one of those things he did not have control over because he wasn't a fucking pilot or was he ever going to become one since he didn't ride planes that often. He rode one for new years since he had a time crunch and that was a miserable experience all in one.
But of course his love refused to go on a road trip all the way to her daddy's house so she had booked them two first class tickets to her hometown. And he wasn't all that bothered by it because he's never got to ride first class so he was kind of excited.
The couple had no problem coming to the airport and getting all their bags checked and stored away so Natsu only had his backpack full of important things like an extra blanket, hoodie, water bottle, headphones, and charger. And a couple of snacks but Lucy apparently loved airport shit so she was dragging him around while they waited for their flight.
Lucy also liked to be early to things hence why they had arrived two hours prior to their departure and she was steering him to this shop and to the next as if she already knew where they were located.
Who was he to not allow his girl to have fun?
She bought many books and many snacks and the two drank at the airport bar till they had to board and he didn't think the airport was all too bad anymore. It was rubbing off on him in a good way.
Lucy even bought him some motion sickness patches and slapped those bad boys all over his body so he was good to go. If that failed, Natsu had a bottle of melatonin gummies he was going to swallow up so he could hopefully knock out the entire ride. Nothing like going into a mini coma to help ease his nerves about meeting his girlfriend's rich ass powerful father or riding a huge death mobile that fucking flew in the sky.
Maybe he could be the stay at home daddy while mommy worked. He kind of liked the idea of being catered to as they got to board first and sit comfortably in a very nice plush chair in the front of the cargo. It even came with curtains and their very own pillow and eye mask that he was super giddy about. He was most excited that they shared some sort of wall between them but he could still lean in and touch her if he could. It helped a lot that he had the leg room and he was able to drink from actual glasses and not those cheap ass plastic ones they offered.
"They even have meals?!" Natsu practically shouted, eyes wide and sparkly as Lucy stifled her giggle. "First class is amazing!"
"Glad to know I take one of your virginities." Lucy grinned and Natsu was too busy rambling and scanning over the menu to even respond.
He even forgot the whole reason why they were flying in the first place as he waved the flight attendant over. He excitedly ordered as many drinks as he could including a nice roast beef dish that his mouth watered at. Lucy didn't even know how he could eat considering they just had a late lunch inside the airport and Natsu pounded down four beers in a matter of twenty minutes.
And go figure that Natsu starts to groan and whine when the plane begins to move and he couldn't even hear Lucy as his ears popped and stomach churned.
With shaky hands, Natsu could only swallow a handful of melatonin gummies and proceed to knock out a couple minutes later.
It gave Lucy a peace of mind as she cracked open her new novel, earbuds shoved into her ear while she got herself comfortable.
At least she didn't have to listen to Natsu barf and whine the entire ride there.
She was already on edge enough.
At one point, Lucy had knocked out as well from the silent vibrations of the plane and the darkness it provided once they were up in the air and the windows were shut. It rocked her to bed as she woke up hours later, the intercom waking her from her slumber. She yawned loudly and pulled her window up to see they were approaching land and she shifted in her spot, kicking off the blanket that had been tossed on her during her nap and she turned to see her boyfriend still asleep with a line of drool dripping down his chin.
She could only giggle and lean over their shared wall, brushing his hair out of his face while he stirred.
"Lucy?" He murmured and she hushed him, planting a soft kiss against his temple while he groaned. "Are we there yet?"
"We're about to land. Stay down so you don't get sick."
"I think I already do feel sick," he curled over, his hands coming over to wrap around his gut. "My stomach feels like it's about to—" he gagged and Lucy reeled back, scrunching her face up. "I need some water."
"Here," Lucy grabbed at her bottle she had bought at the last airport, shoving it in his direction. Natsu grabbed the bottle with shaky hands and went to chugging the liquid while the blinking lights for seat belts flashed above their heads.
The rest of the ride was bumpy as they jerked and shook and Natsu was one second away from throwing up his entire dignity in the plane that he was glad the plane had finally come to a halt. It didn't help that he still threw up in a doggy bag Lucy had given him at the last minute but he was still alive and breathing so that's all that mattered.
He was burping up stomach acid and he felt disgusted as he scrunched his face up. He gathered all their belongings and said a silent sad goodbye to first class, brushing his fingers against the nice leather chair. Lucy only watched with an eyebrow raised as they walked down the aisle together, the blonde pushing her boyfriend forward who yelped and glared at her impatience.
Everyone shuffled through like penguins, his feet finally hitting solid ground that he was in tears while clinging to the walls.
Lucy didn't know how to feel about her idiotic boyfriend weeping for joy as he kissed the ground and happily skipped down the tunnel. She had to hide her embarrassment somehow as she tucked her chin down and followed him, keeping a nice distance so nobody looked at her in some type of way.
It felt weird to be back home. The same airport, the same air, the same streets. It was nostalgic for the heiress but it was different this time around as she walked down the busy halls hand in hand with her lover.
Natsu was such a refreshing spirit that she was just all smiles and giggles whenever they were together. He treated her with such care and respect that she didn't mind being the mindless princess when around him. She's always been used to people catering to her and everyone done for that she hated being coddled by anyone else. She was an independent woman and nobody was going to get in the way of her wanting to do something.
Only Natsu though because she definitely thinks men should be holding doors open for women and he should be the one to open all the jars that refuse to open in her touch. There were just some things that she believes all men should do and if Natsu wants to carry her bags and hold her hand and wipe her mouth then so be it because she was his princess.
Lucy dragged Natsu away from the nice smelling restaurants and to their exit, her own nerves getting to the best of her.
A part of her knew Natsu wouldn't be phased with her home life. He didn't seem like the type to care if she was rolling in dough or not. He was a humble kid with an extraordinary mind that only revolved around sex, fighting, and food. But another part of her always whispered filthy things saying that Natsu was going to become some weirdo who suddenly got into money and she worried it might become too overwhelming for him.
Natsu's father was definitely well off on his own but they were Heartfillia rich and she wondered what Natsu would think once he was introduced to everyone.
"Hey, don't we need to get our bags?" Natsu asked while Lucy followed the same route she always did when she came home.
"Nope," she popped the P, her feet taking her to the exit doors. "They already took care of it."
"They?"
"My people." She just gave him a pinched smile and he furrowed his brows.
"You guys have people for everything?"
"Not everything," Lucy laughed as they rode down the escalator. "But mostly."
Natsu was silent as he was absorbing such information and she turned away, trying to keep her mind from wandering too much. She could already see her driver, Capricorn, waiting for them with a sign that said Heartfillia in bright bold letters. Her smile grew as she approached and she abandoned her boyfriend who was still on the escalators, shouting for her to wait up.
"Capricorn!" Lucy cried out happily, running over to the older man who dressed in his finest suit. "It's so good to see you!"
"Hello Miss Lucy," he offered a respectful bow, tucking his arm against his chest while the other went behind. "It is always a pleasure to see you m'lady."
"This is my boyfriend, Natsu!" Lucy turned to see him coming close and she grabbed onto his arm, dragging him beside her. "Isn't he handsome?" She cooed happily and Natsu's cheeks dusted pink as he cleared his throat.
"Yes, he is, m'lady." Capricorn offered a warm smile at Natsu and he pushed his hand out to connect with his. "Good afternoon, my name is Capricorn and I have been Miss Lucy's driver since she was just a little girl. It is a pleasure to meet you."
"The names Natsu Dragneel. I have been Miss Lucy's boyfriend for the last two months. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Lucy giggled and elbowed Natsu making him turn and grin at her. Capricorn offered an amused smile before he was holding his hand out. "May I take your bag for you, Mr. Dragneel?"
"No, it's alright," Natsu held his hand up, shaking his head. As much as he did want to, he couldn't allow this nice old man to carry his bag for him. It wasn't even heavy. "I got this. Just show us the way Cap!"
"Cap?" Lucy asked, a wide smile on her lips as her arm clung onto Natsu's bicep. They followed behind the driver who guided them to his parked car and Natsu shrugged.
"His name is long."
They eventually came to a blacked out SUV and Natsu was stunned by the model. He only knew of celebrities and people of power driving such large, nice vehicles and he was even more surprised as he slid into the fine leather seats that bounced underneath of him. There were things like snacks and even champagne and whiskey stored away, a nice large screen that could easily distract anyone, and of course, the best part: blacked out windows.
Something about blacked out windows made him want to do naughty things to see if they truly were private enough.
"M'lady notified me that you have motion sickness, Mr. Dragneel." Capricorn caught his attention as Natsu shuffled awkwardly in the backseat beside his girlfriend.
Natsu shot Lucy a look and she offered back a nice buttery smile, the blonde comfortable in her seat.
"Uh, just Natsu is fine but yes, I do. Why?"
"Well Mr. Natsu," Capricorn was digging into some bag up front and Natsu was pleasantly surprised to see him hold out a box of motion sickness pills to him. "I did the liberty of picking these up so you would be comfortable on the ride home. I hope these do you well. I was unsure which one you preferred or are accustomed to."
Natsu looked as if he could shed a couple tears for the treatment he was getting and he looked over at his girlfriend with wide teary eyes that made her laugh out loud.
The ride home was nice as Natsu didn't have to stick his window out like a panting dog to get himself some relief. He was even more surprised how well stocked this car was and wondered just how many times this driver had to drive someone for him to have such a supply like this. He went through two bags of chips, one bag of gummies, and even a granola bar and washed it all down with a nice sparkling water.
"Babe, I don't think I could ever go back," he groaned, sinking himself deeper into the fine leather while he tossed his arms on the very edge of the seats. "This is the life!"
"You haven't seen anything yet," her lips curved up and Natsu was back at wagging his tail back and forth.
"How did I get so lucky?" He asked, leaning in to hover over her and she blushed, sinking into her own seat.
"Not as lucky as I am." She purred, pulling him down into a kiss. Natsu happily kissed her back, soaking in her cherry flavored lip gloss and not throwing up in a moving vehicle. "Try not to get too overwhelmed, okay?"
"I think I'll be fine," he waved her off. "No matter what you throw at me, I don't think anything will change. You may be Lucy Heartfillia but in my eyes, you're just Lucy." He nudged her, curling into her as he purred. "My Lucy. My fierce bad-ass princess."
Heat embraced her body as her blush traveled up her chest to the tip of her ears. Her heart swelled with admiration and love for the rosy-haired male attached to her hip and she couldn't help but smile widely at his proclamation.
She wrapped her arms around him and hummed in delight. "I love you, Natsu."
The older male instantly grew embarrassed and his eyes flickered over to see Capricorn smiling while driving and he pouted, nuzzling himself into her neck as he muttered back. "I love you, too, Luce." It only had Lucy giggling at his shyness as she rubbed his back, enjoying his warmth.
"Will papa be home when we arrive, Capricorn?" Lucy asked as she ran her fingers through Natsu's locks as he purred against her.
"I am unsure, Miss Lucy. I do know he will be home for dinner tonight to greet you and Mr. Natsu."
Lucy silently nodded as she went back to her small task that had Natsu rolling on his back like a dog.
The rest of the car ride was short and full of sneaky small kisses and giggles, the couple enjoying their time while Lucy pointed out places she used to go to all the time back in her youth. She promised Natsu she would take him anywhere and everywhere especially since she was more in the city than Natsu was. Natsu just seemed eager to eat and get the hell out of the driving death mobile.
By the time they had rolled up to the front of Heartfillia estates, Natsu's eyes were as round as dinner plates while his jaw dropped.
It was as if he was some kind of fucking celebrity with the amount of people who waited for them out front. From large golden gates that could only be opened from a press of a button from the guard to the large fountain outside their equally large mansion. Their large home was beautiful and the array of blooming florals decorated the grounds in such a way he was baffled at the idea that the flowers weren't the best looking thing on these grounds.
On top of the many maids who stood outside, wide smiles and excited energy coursing through them all as Lucy perked up.
"Who are they?" Natsu whispered, leaning in towards his girlfriend who started to pack up all her belongings.
"Oh, they're all my housemaids. A lot of them have been around since I was a kid and some are new. We have around fifty employees—"
"Fifty?!" Natsu shouted back, cutting her off mid-sentence. "What do they all do?!"
"Well, we have the housemaids who clean and do laundry. And we have people like Capricorn who drive us to places. We also have gardeners, maintenance, and cooks."
Natsu just couldn't get his jaw off the ground. He knew his girlfriend was rich but she was this rich? Well, obviously since she was in the top ten for Magnolia richest but come on! This is such a whole different experience for him and he was starstruck with everything, eyes glued to his girlfriend's smiling face.
"Come on, let me introduce you!" She giggled, taking his hand to tug on him.
Natsu could only swallow nervously, the anxiety inside of his chest shaking him to the core. There were a lot of people surrounding them—too many people. Almost as if someone were to come out and punk them or this was all some secret act to kidnap him and sell him on the black market because there's no fucking way all these people—
"Welcome home Miss Lucy!" A loud roar echoed in the air and it startled Natsu so badly he jumped and got in fight position immediately.
Lucy had to swat at him, forcing him to relax and blink stupidly at the sight.
He would really think Lucy was a goddamn Princess with how these people treated and spoke to her. When was the last time he even had his own father come out and greet him? This is wild to think all these people grew up with Lucy and now are welcoming her home as if she had been gone for years on top of years. And announcing it like she was royalty?
"Hi everyone, I'm back! And I want to introduce you to someone!" Lucy giggled shyly, yanking Natsu closer to her side where he stumbled. He was so lost in his thoughts that he was shocked to see every single pair of eyes on them and he felt too hot all of a sudden. He yanked at his collar, smiling nervously. "This is my boyfriend: Natsu!"
"Welcome Mr. Natsu!" They all sang as if they had rehearsed and Natsu felt his skin prickle and a shiver run up his spine.
He didn't know if he liked this or not but it was most definitely creepy to him. He was for sure going to have a nightmare about this at one point.
"H—hi." He offered an awkward hand up and Lucy couldn't help but chortle at his expression.
"Come on, Natsu," she pulled at him, dragging him away from the crowd of maids. "I want to show you around!"
Natsu seems to beam at that, his eyes wide in glee. "Now we're talkin'! I've searched this place up before but the photos don't do this place justice."
"You searched up my place before?" Lucy asked, quirking a brow at Natsu who gaped. Red spread across his cheeks and he sputtered, trying his best to find a good reason on why he did but he couldn't and it made him choke on his spit and babble like an idiot.
"N—no! I didn't mean—! I just—! You look beautiful, Lucy! You look great in blue. Honestly, it's so beautiful."
Lucy rolled her eyes as she let go of his hand, her hands moving to plant themselves on her hips. "Natsu, I'm not going to yell at you for looking up my house."
"It was Gray's idea!" Natsu shouted out, stiff as a board.
Lucy sighed, shaking her head. "Of course it was."
Choosing to leave the conversation at that, she grabbed onto his hand and took him through the large double doors of her home. Natsu was instantly stunned at the interior, his jaw dropping once more as he took in the nice polish marble floors to the high ceilings with the fat chandelier hanging above. He especially appreciated the replica painting of the baby angels above them.
Natsu found himself unable to shut his mouth as his jaw continued to drop further and further down with each step. There were endless hallways, long corridors, and one too many doors and windows. He swore he would end up lost if he were to be alone and he stuck by Lucy's side the entire time, squeezing her hand in assurance as she guided him up and down the halls of her childhood home. She looked so pretty and animated as she spoke about this or that, showing him the same vase she had walked past her entire life to the large painting of her, her father, and her mother.
"You are your mother's twin." Natsu whistled lowly, staring up at the oil painting of the trio. "She's beautiful."
"Yes, she is." Lucy couldn't help but smile at that, her own following to stare at the painting. "We had this done a year before she passed."
"It's crazy to think that I'm inside her house she once lived in." He spoke out loud and Lucy just nodded. "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Heartfillia! I'm going to take great care of your daughter so you have nothing to worry about!" He suddenly declared, a salute being tossed at the painting's way and Lucy was baffled at his actions. "Though, she's kind of a pain in my ass."
Natsu laughed out loud as Lucy swatted at him, scowling playfully at his grin. He gave her a big wet sloppy kiss on the cheek and she was squealing, trying to run from him but Natsu was too scared to be left alone in this giant mansion so he sprinted after her.
They came towards a particularly bright hallway, large windows bringing in the natural light. Natsu was in awe again, seeing the large backyard where he could make out a giant pool, tennis/basketball court, a large garden that wrapped around the house, and even some type of pool or guest house he assumed?
"Jesus fucking Christ, Lucy," he couldn't help himself as he took in all the land. "You guys own all of this?"
"No, silly," she giggled at his expression, pointing to a hill in the background. "We own all the way up to there. My father's employees all actually live on the premises. See those small dots? Those are homes for the employees."
"Holy fucking shit." Natsu worshiped this woman in front of him before but now he had another reason to. Lucy was fucking rich. Not just rich but stupid fucking rich. She was literal royalty and a goddamn princess and he had the opportunity to grace his sad pitiful self on his royal highness and he suddenly felt a bit bad knowing Lucy got the short end of the stick in this relationship. "I'm dating a real life princess."
Lucy laughed out loud at his mindless muttering, her cheeks hurting from all the times Natsu made her laugh and smile and her heart fluttering with a thousand insects.
Maybe Natsu wouldn't become an asshole after finding out how rich they were but he definitely became a little bit dumber. She knew he would short circuit from all this at once but she did warn him. And nothing else mattered because he told her that she would still be his Lucy no matter what she threw at him. That's all she wants anyways. Not some guy who kisses her feet because she's a heiress to a massive fortune or because she had a nice set of racks. A guy who loves her for her and doesn't care about the fact that her daddy was a multi-millionaire.
"I guess that makes you a prince?"
"No fucking way," Natsu shook his head, a look of disgust decorating his features. "I rather be the fucking joker than some pansy ass prince in tights."
"Princesses can only marry princes, Natsu."
"Says who?"
"Says all the fairy tales and royal rules." Lucy rolled her eyes at the way Natsu scoffed. "Well, they can't marry out of royal blood!"
"What are you trying to say? That we can't marry, now? Are you trying to get rid of me, Miss Heartfillia?" Natsu popped his hip out in a sassy way, his arms crossing across his chest while he raised a brow at her.
Lucy could only snort at his posture, giving him a nudge of her own. "Oh shut up, Natsu."
In truth, Natsu wasn't a prince. He was far from a prince because he didn't match the qualities of someone as kind and gentle as a prince but he was more fierce and wild like the dragon who keeps the princess away. He always jokes he has a fire breathing dragon inside of him or he wishes to become one so it's the only thing she can say to accurately describe her lover.
Finally going through the tour of the large home that Natsu didn't think would ever end, he was most delighted to find himself standing in front of Lucy's bedroom door.
He has been waiting to see her bedroom for way too long. He wanted to see all the cute ways she may have decorated from her time growing up to see the collection of things she may have collected. He wondered if she had a comfortable bed like she did back at school or even if she had any cute photos of her when she was a kid. Most importantly, he wanted to see how many ways he could have her bent over in this bedroom so he could burn the memory of their love-making into her sheets and mind.
And it was everything he could imagine it would be because it was so… her. She would have that weird veil thing over her bed. She would have that lamp above her bed to provide her light to read during the nighttime. She would have a pink frilly comforter with an equally fluffy rug underneath to cushion those delicate feet of hers. The large vanity mirror attached to a very long posh pearl white desk and chair set with her walls decorated in books on top of books in matching bookshelves.
This room looked exactly how he imagined it would and he was pretty pleased with himself to know her that well.
"I honestly didn't expect any less from the princess herself."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Lucy looked slightly offended as she followed her boyfriend inside her bedroom. She made sure to close the door behind her, ensuring he didn't mess with anything she didn't want him to.
She was honestly a bit nervous and embarrassed to even bring her boyfriend into her childhood bedroom where she spent the majority of her days. She hadn't changed anything up besides tearing down the posters on her wall of boy bands and unicorns when she was there last Christmas. And thank god she did because she would have died from embarrassment to have Natsu walk in and see that. He would most definitely make fun of her especially if he saw the smudged fainted lines of her lips from the many times she kissed the posters.
It was even more nerve wracking because he was quiet and he was never quiet. Even in bed. Asleep or not.
Just what was he thinking? Her heart pounded against her ribcage in obvious distress but her boyfriend seemed oblivious to the whole thing. Or he knew and was fucking with her.
"So!" Lucy tried to break the deafening silence by clapping her hands together. "This is my bedroom. This is my desk slash vanity and these French doors lead out to a small balcony," she yanked open the doors to have the rush of summer air hit them hard. Their hair flew for a bit as Natsu immediately gravitated over to the outdoors.
"Small?!" Natsu shouted, stepping onto the balcony where it was at least a good length to fit at least ten people comfortably. "Luce, if you think is small, I'm afraid what you think about the size of my cock." He pressed his hands against his chest as if he was in pain and Lucy rolled her eyes at his dramatic reaction.
"Okay, so I exaggerated. Just a balcony."
"Big balcony! Big!"
"Alright, alright," she couldn't help but smile at his frazzled expression and she grabbed his hand, pulling him back inside. "And this right over here is my closet!" She scooted over to the corner beside her desk to slide a door open to present her massive walk in closet.
Natsu was back to dropping his jaw as he entered in the room that was supposed to be a closet but he was pretty fucking sure this was the same size as his room back in college. He made mental notes to measure later to check when he got back to school because how is this a closet? There was a closet inside the closet? What crazy type of nightmare was he stuck in? And the mirrors were not helping as he spun in circles.
"And it is attached to the bathroom so I can go right into my closet after I shower." Lucy kept walking further into the room and Natsu was certain he was going to get lost in there.
He followed closely behind, noting that there wasn't a single spot open in that large space. This closet was packed and he didn't even have to look inside of her closet, inside her closet to know they were also full.
Natsu didn't know how many more surprises he could handle in one day as he gasped at the beauty of the bathroom. Even the bathroom rivaled the size of his bedroom back at MU and he was in awe at the sparkling clean bathroom that was built around pearl white marble. There were accents of gold swirling around and he loved how she went for such an adorable shade of pink for her clawfoot tub. The tub itself could probably host a good four bodies if they were to squeeze in and he loved how she had some kind of rainfall showerhead that adjoined the tub space.
"I think I could live here forever."
"In the bathroom?" Lucy giggled as Natsu stared at the space with such a starstruck face.
It made her feel a bit better about everything after seeing that adorable look to his face. He looked like he had met his childhood hero or something. All starry eyed and grinning like the child he was.
She was glad she could introduce Natsu to such a lifestyle since he didn't have the childhood like she did. If she could, she would put Natsu in his little bubble to keep him protected forever. Protected from his past, present, and future traumas.
"And then we're back!" Lucy circled back to her bedroom where the other entryway to the bathroom was located. Natsu seemed dumbfounded at the large circle he just did and he blinked stupidly at the air, trying to let his brain catch up. It only made Lucy giggle even more, wrapping herself around him as he was quick to do the same. "You okay there? Did I accidentally burn you out?"
Natsu blinked for a couple more seconds before he shook his head and grinned. "No way! I was just processing! This place is beautiful! Very fitting for my princess," he brushed his lips against hers while she laughed. "Down to the tee."
"Well, I'm glad you like the place." She peppered his face with light feathery kisses that had him chasing her lips. "Now let me show you to your room."
"Wait, what?" Natsu was taken back by her sentence that he froze in place. "What do you mean my room? Aren't we staying together?"
"No, silly," Lucy brushed him off so casually as if they never shared a bed together. He was literally balls deep in her less than twenty four hours ago and now she's forcing him to sleep in another bed?
In another room?
Without her?
"A proper lady does not lay in bed with another man while unmarried." Lucy wagged her finger in his face in a playful gesture but he honestly didn't have a single clue if she was joking or not. "Your room is just across from mine. Come on, you'll like it!" She turned to walk away but his grip tightened on her hand and pulled her back. She twisted slightly to look at him with confusion written all over her face. "What's wrong?"
"I'm just trying to process the fact that you just said that we're not sharing a bedroom. And that bullshit about a proper lady? Luce, you are by all means not a fucking proper lady." He held his hand up as she opened her mouth to shout. "Respectfully. Truly. As respectfully as I can put it." He snickered at the way she puffed her cheeks out and glared at him.
"All I'm saying, why the hell are we not sharing a room when we have been this entire time?" His frown showed his disappointment and Lucy felt a slight sense of sadness.
"Oh, Natsu," she cooed, cupping his face in her palms to tilt his head up. "I would love to share a bed with you, you know this. But you need to know that when we're here, we can't. My father is a traditional man and he definitely won't approve of you staying in my bed and some of the maids would also throw a fit. It's to be safe and save us the trouble of having to go through their disappointment."
"But don't worry, I'm right across the hall and I promise we will share every moment together besides from bedtime."
"But bedtime is the best time." Natsu whined like a toddler and Lucy was giggling as he fake cried and shoved his face into her breasts. It only made her laugh harder, squealing as he started to shake his head between her tits.
"Come on," she broke away from his torturous manners and pulled him with her. Natsu only groaned, dragging his feet as he knew where they were to go next. "You'll like it, I swear! And see, right across the hall. Not even two feet from each other." She stood in front of a door right across from her and Natsu scoffed.
"And the other hundred between our beds and room!"
"Oh don't be so dramatic. It's only twenty."
"Twenty?!"
Natsu's attitude didn't last long as he entered the lavish room. It had high ceilings, wide windows, and walls. A nice queen sized mattress draped with nice clean crisp linens. He loved that he had eight pillows to smother himself with.
"See? I told you you'd like it. And you even have your own mini balcony!" Lucy said excitedly, walking over to the single French door that opens out to an actual regular sized balcony. It fit a small table and two chairs to spend time out there and maybe five people could fit comfortably.
"Okay but it doesn't make up for the fact that I can't hold you tonight." He still had a pout on his lips and Lucy kissed it as she walked by to head inside.
"You'll have plenty of opportunities to do that. You'll survive a couple days."
"How could you be so sure? What if I combust into flames because you're not with me? Or what if the house goes down in flames and we both die? Dying of heartbreak is real, Luce. People have died from this. Look it up."
"Jesus Christ, Natsu," Lucy sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose while she shook her head. "Are you even listening to yourself?"
"Are you listening to yourself?!"
"How about…" Lucy trailed off, her voice softly growing low. Natsu instantly perked up at the way her voice dipped, his shoulders squaring as he watched her stride over to him in that slutty seductive way. "How about I blow you to make up for it?" She purred against his ear, finger trailing his collarbone. It made him shiver and Natsu wrapped his arm around her waist, yanking her close to have her chest push into his.
"Will there be a chance I can fuck you on your bed?"
"My bed?"
"Yeah, your bed in your room."
"What? Why my bed?" Lucy asked with her eyebrows pinched and Natsu smirked.
"Because I want to accomplish a childhood dream of mine." Lucy looked even more confused as she felt Natsu slide his hands down and cup her cheeks, giving it a firm squeeze that had her squeak. "I wanna fuck my girlfriend on her childhood bedroom and have her squirt all over her sheets so everytime you sleep on that mattress you only think about how good I made you feel."
Lucy was sputtering, trying to push this sex demon away from her as she felt her heart skyrocket.
Now is not the time, Natsu! Daddy will be home soon! And not you, Natsu!
"Na—Natsu, I—I—"
"You thinkin' about it now, aren't ya?" His smirk grin wider, his hot breath tickling her neck and she jerked. "How about we do that now?"
"Natsu!" She squealed, pushing him away by the shoulder as she felt his hot tongue lick at the shell of her ear. She blushed from head to toe and she scowled, taking a large step back to create space between them. Natsu naturally followed, taking a large step forward to still be in her bubble. "Down boy!"
Natsu purred at her and she just wanted to strangle him right there. Maybe or maybe not while she was riding him.
"Gosh," she pressed her palms to her crimson cheeks, trying to cool herself down. "My dad will be home any minute and I prefer him not to walk in on you balls deep inside of me."
"I mean—" Natsu shrugged as Lucy swatted at him. "Jokes."
"Okay, so, now that we have our rooms sorted out, let's go see if he's here or not."
"Wait, he's here?" Natsu's eyes went wide as he felt that lump come back in his throat.
"I don't know, that's why I said let's go see." She guided him with her, taking him by the hand. Natsu just followed, his fingers interlacing with her own as he fell into step beside her.
And as he went further away from their rooms, he suddenly remembered their conversation prior. "Hey, wait, what about blowing me?"
"Natsu!" She hissed, her face growing red once more as she started to look around in a slight panic. She shoved him closer to the wall, her head turning to look both ways before she leaned in close. "You can't be saying things like that so loudly! There's ears everywhere! You have to be careful what you say." She whisper-shouted at him and he raised his hands up.
"Sorry, sorry," he grinned sheepishly and she huffed, pouting softly. "But what about it? You bailing on me?"
"Missed opportunity, mister. Maybe next time you'll keep your mouth shut." She stuck her tongue out at him and he gawked in offense.
"That's mean, Luce."
"Ah well, add it to the cons on the list on why you shouldn't marry me." Lucy giggled, turning her heel to continue her walk leaving Natsu standing there with his jaw dropped from disbelief before he was chasing her down the hall to catch up. He resisted the urge to slap her on the ass and huffed out in annoyance, showing her that he wasn't pleased but she didn't seem to care or acknowledge it.
He just wanted to fill that smug mouth of hers.
They came upon two large brown double doors that Natsu didn't have to look in to know what it was. It was so obvious this was his office. It just had that kind of feel to it. Very rich person office vibe.
Lucy knocked three times on the wooden doors and paused a second before her sweet song voice rang through the hall. "Daddy? You home?" She waited a second for a response and she just sighed and shrugged, turning around to face a stunned Natsu. "He's not here. Let's go."
Natsu didn't really know what to expect meeting his girlfriend's dad. He didn't truly have a clue how this would go. What his personality would be like. What he would say to him or what he could say to him. He seemed like a doting father who loved his daughter but at the same time he was some asshole who didn't really care about spending time with her. So a part of Natsu was fucking terrified of meeting protective daddy who would threaten to chop his hands off and make him disappear in a second. Or maybe the daddy who doesn't even give him a second of his precious time to some lowlife like him. Just because he was dating his daughter didn't meant shit to these assholes and he knew that.
He just didn't know which one he would prefer.
"So, what do you want to do first? Watch a movie? Play tennis? I have video games downstairs, too." Lucy started to take him down some hallway before falling into step down the plush carpet stairs. It was the first he was seeing this room and he felt like he truly was walking into a dream. He swore he dreamt of this place as a kid and his heart felt like it was going to explode.
A giant screen in the corner with leather chairs facing it to form a movie theater corner. A countertop space that had a popcorn machine and rows of candy lining the walls. And a foosball table with a ping pong table and a pool table?! Natsu almost passed out at the sight until he turned the corner to see a large tv with comfortable looking chairs with a nice bar wrapped around the corner. He almost dropped to his knees when he saw the mini fridge stocked with only the finest wines and liquor and he turned to look at Lucy with teary eyes.
"I have never been more proud and honored to be your boyfriend."
Lucy swore this man was crying and his eyes were shining as if she was some fucking goddess and she didn't know if she wanted to punch him or kiss him.
"Okay… anyways," she cleared her throat, making her way towards the center of the room to face him. "What do you want to do?"
"Ping pong!" He shouted excitedly as he rushed over to the table so soon. He held up the paddles and he had such a wide smile on his face she worried he might stretch his lips out. Her heart soared for the child in him healing and she came close to plant a sweet kiss on his lips while he hummed.
He wrapped his arms around her petite figure and reeled her in, enjoying the way she fit right in like she was his missing puzzle piece. Her lips were hot against his, soft pants filling the space. He moaned into her mouth as she swirled her tongue against his lips before invading his cavities. His hand found purchase in her hair, holding her in place while they swapped spit.
It was electrifying.
"Okay lover boy, keep your hands to yourself." Lucy had to pull away first as Natsu didn't have any intentions of stopping. "Remember. Eyes and ears everywhere."
"Thought you liked the audience." He purred into her ear and she was giggling as he nibbled on her earlobe. He then gasped as if he finally got the reference. "Is that why you always say that?"
"Maybe." She gave him a sly smile as she grabbed the extra paddle from his hands. "Now come on! Let's see you cry after I wipe the floor with you!"
"Oh, will it be like that?" He smirked as he took a step back, the glint of mischief and determination burning behind his irises.
Knowing Natsu loves a challenge more than anything, Lucy popped her hip out and smirked right back. "I am great at ping pong. I spent most of my life perfecting it after all."
"Someone needs to humble the princess," Natsu turned his nose up to the air in a snobby way as he walked over to the other side of the table. "And I rather it be me than anyone else."
"Put your money where your mouth is, Dragneel."
"I'd rather put my dick in yours."
Lucy wasn't surprised that her father didn't come home for dinner. What surprised her is that she even forgot that he was supposed to meet them and she forgot. They got so engrossed in their game of ping pong that she was surprised to see the time flick to seven and one of the maids rush downstairs to let her know her father got caught up in work and wasn't going to be able to attend.
The frown on her face showed her displeasure and Natsu was quiet while he watched his girlfriend force a smile and tell the maid they were to be upstairs for dinner shortly.
He just gave her the company she needed and kissed her gingerly, giving her one of his infamous grins that had her forced smile melting into a real one.
Dinner was as extravagant as the house was. Wild spreads of every dish he could ever think of littered across the large table that could fit twenty people. He happily ate while Lucy picked at her food, still upset about the vacant chair beside her.
Natsu tried his best to cheer her up, playing with his food that would surely get him an earful from those of class but Lucy didn't care much as she giggled at the way he held a noodle against his top lip and tried to make her laugh.
The maids around watched in joy how their lonely heiress was so bright when it came to her boyfriend. They could see how Natsu was trying to get her out of her funk by poking at her and joking around.
And Lucy could see it as she chatted with him excitedly about the food or what they have been up to the last couple weeks.
She should be used to this by now but it hurt her more this time around since she hadn't seen him in months and she let him know in advance that she would be bringing her boyfriend along.
If her father didn't care to say hello to her or her boyfriend then to hell with him. It's not like anything would change nor make any difference in their strained relationship so Lucy said fuck it and she curled up against her boyfriend on the couch while they watched some kind of film after their hearty dinner. She didn't even care that she was practically on top of him and making out with him as if they were in high school for anyone to see.
Her 'fuck-you-daddy-pay-attention-to-me' attitude was soaring but Natsu's soft kisses and warm hands grounded her.
He didn't say anything about it but she could tell he was worried about her. He continued to pester her, playing with her hair, rubbing circles on her thighs, planting wet sloppy kisses against her face, and playing footsies with her.
He was all she ever needed. Her real daddy can go to hell because she was already in heaven's arms.
