Epilogue
Seth and Jessica married a month later in a private ceremony on a beach of the California coastline. Jessica had convinced him that she wanted something simple, but beautiful. What better way to have that than to go away somewhere where they could say their vows in less than ten minutes in front of a licensed minister, before going off hand in hand down the coastline alone to begin their honeymoon?
While Seth maintained that he did not need to own a house and it would always cause a twinge of unease when he remembered the circumstances behind his ownership, now that he was married to Jessica, whether he owned it or not, did not matter. In an odd way, he wondered if her concern for him and her actions that she took to protect him was what opened the floodgates for their relationship to bloom into romance. Whatever the reason, he was grateful.
While he had feared being able to trust her again after finding out about her plan behind his back, in the end, it had not been an issue.
Exchanging vows had given them both a peace and confidence in their relationship that they both relished and were able to rest in together.
Returning home after their wedding and honeymoon, Seth had rushed her to their bedroom, whispering in her ear that they needed to christen their bedroom now that they were married.
"Oh, darling, we have made love in this bed many times already!"
"Ayuh, but that was to my girlfriend. She is my wife now and I want to make love to her here," he murmured, as he began to take off her clothes, before saying, "Then, tomorrow, I think we should make love on the couch, and maybe again on the landing of the stairs...perhaps the shower after that…" She shivered as he pulled her shirt over her head.
"Oh, what about my office chair? It's quite comfy and supportive," she suggested, playing along.
He chuckled in her ear, "Why not? Jessica Fletcher Hazlitt, you are mine and I am yours. I want you everywhere I can have you."
Giggling, she said, "Oh, darling, you can have me anywhere. Just as long as you never let me go."
"Never ever. We belong together."
A/N: Thank you everyone for your reviews. I really loved this one and the idea of Jessica being in the wrong. No matter what though, I think Seth would always find a way to forgive her.
