"Bonnie!" Kitten's attention is immediately put on the purple-haired rabbit as her reflexes help her catch him before he can hit the floor. Helping him down to the ground, Chica rushes over to the two wanting to also ensure Bonnie is okay.
With his upper body now being held up in her arms, the pirate holds him against her body and immediately starts to panic internally. Turning to look at Chica, seeing that the girl has regret all over her face, Kitten starts worrying that Chica is going to tell the others about what she walked in on. "P-Please don't tell Freddy, Chica…! He'll freak out on me...!" she asks the blonde with panic and tears in her eyes.
"Kitten…" Chica says softly, if somewhat regretfully, as she looks up at the redhead. "I wanna keep your secret, but if Freddy finds out, and he'll know I knew about this... he'll get angry at all three of us!" Quickly shutting her eyes and turning her head to face the floor, the girl looks ready to cry. "I'm sorry!"
Hearing her tone and knowing that Chica has full intentions of telling Freddy about what she saw… Kitten starts to freak out a bit as she holds Bonnie's passed-out form close to her own body. "Please Chica...!" she pleads with the girl as a tear starts to fall down her cheek. She can't let their leader know about what happened. "Freddy threatened to shut me off...! I'm really happy around Bonnie...! Please...! Please don't say anything...!" The pirate has a hard enough time trying not to break down crying, but she's close to that breaking point. A pained look crosses her face for a moment as she tries to get a hold of herself and calm down.
However, this sudden piece of new information stuns the blonde. "He said that...? I thought…" Chica says quietly, and mostly to herself, before looking down at Bonnie. Even though he's passed out, she can still see the clearly terrified look on his face. The guitarist is one of Chica's closest friends since Foxy usually keeps to himself and Freddy checks the records in the office during the night, Bonnie has been Chica's friend and playmate since the day they were trapped here. "I... I won't... I don't want to get in trouble either… but I'll keep your secret…" the younger girl says with a sigh.
Kitten's prayers are answered after hearing that, the pained expression leaving her face with worry. With a smile now showing and a few tears starting to roll down her cheeks, the redhead is in Chica's debt. "Th-thank you, Chica...! Don't worry," she starts with a sniffle, trying to get her composer back. "Bonnie and I will tell him when we're ready…" Glancing back down at Bonnie, she turns to look towards the other girl again. "Could you get a wet washcloth to put on his head, Chica?" she politely asks.
"Okay…" the blonde sighs before getting up and running back down the hall she came from to get back into the kitchen.
Looking back down at the purple rabbit, the redhead starts to tap his cheek with her hand while holding up his upper body with her arms. "Bonnie, wake up," she says kinda quietly, not wanting to startle him awake.
With a groan, Bonnie's eyes begin to flutter open, his vision slightly blurry from fainting. "Wha... What happened...?" he asks aloud before blinking a few times. As the musician's sight returns to normal, he looks up to see the pirate leaning over him. "Hi…" he says after a moment of awkward staring, the blush creeping its way back onto his cheeks. Bonnie could still feel a slight pain in his head from the fall, but he manages to keep it hidden, not wanting to worry her, and smiles.
Smiling at the sight of Bonnie's blush and hearing his soft voice, Kitten wipes her eyes to clear her tears. She doesn't want to worry him more than he already is either. "Hey Bon Bon," she chuckles before hugging him and closing her eyes. The male seems to just accept this as he
About a minute passes before the sounds of Chica's shoes echo into the room as she jogs back into the main dining room with a damp, clean cloth in her hands. "I got it!" she exclaims before returning to her spot next to her two friends. "Hopefully it's still cold…" the blonde says a bit nervously as she hands the cloth to the feline.
"Thanks Chica," Kitten says gratefully to the girl before carefully laying the chilled and damp cloth on Bonnie's head. She moves a bit of hair out of the male's face before gently laying the cloth on his forehead. "There you go," she says. "That should help any pain you're feeling."
Bonnie feels a small shiver throughout his body for a second from the small, yet soft, touch. He slowly calms himself down once he feels the cold press against his skin, the effects working slowly, but surely. "Thanks..." he says with a small sigh.
She rubs Bonnie's hair and one of his ears as she smiles sweetly down at the guy. "Of course, Bonnie. I don't ever want to see you hurt." Kitten then leans down to him and kisses the top of his head, then moves some more hair out of his face with a giggle when she sits back up.
A light red color appears on Bonnie's cheeks as he smiles up at the redheaded feline. "H-Hey… I'm supposed to say that…"
Chica's facial expression seems to show her nervous thoughts as she fidgets with the hem of her skirt, waiting for the right moment to speak up again. "You don't think Freddy will do anything if he finds out... do you?" Her tone matches her expression as the blonde looks down at her two friends.
The redhead sighs as Chica brings up the leader, her cat ears folding back at the thought. "He'll probably just get really mad and defensive… But he'll have to go through Foxy first before he can–" Kitten stops talking before the rest of that thought leaves her mouth. Being quiet for a few moments, the pirate looks away from the blonde before continuing. "You know what I'm talking about."
Chica sits back with her arms crossed, thinking of what their next plan will be. "Now we have three things to deal with: the guard, your curiosity, and now this…" The young lady quickly lowered her voice in a quiet whisper, "No offense."
Kitten nods as she listens to the girl's concerns. "My curiosity has been dealt with... " she replies, her ears falling as the cat hangs her head sadly. "And you shouldn't have to worry about the guard; she's super nice...!" A spike of determination causes her to lift her head back up and look not just at Chica, but also Bonnie. "Please you guys... just... go easy on her next week… Try not to camp the doors... like you did before."
"I'm sorry…" Chica mumbles sullenly, unable to make eye contact with the feline. "We just can't help it… It's inside that makes us act that way."
Bonnie nods as he reaches up to move the cloth a little higher. Once he's able to keep it in a good spot, his red eyes that hold a sense of sadness turn towards Kitten. "Like she said, we have something that makes us, well… 'want' to kill…" his tone shifts slightly as if he was talking more quietly, "We may think he, or she is good... but at night, we can't help ourselves…"
"Please...!" the pirate pleads with the two, her ears falling back out of desperation. "Just... try to hold back. I know you can't stop yourselves... but something is better than nothing." She pauses for a moment to look over their expressions and decides to add to her plea in an attempt to gain their assistance. "I'm not asking you to stop, I'm asking for you to not make the night impossible…"
There is a long pause that, to Kitten, feels like it lasts for way too long. Then, Chica breaks the silence with a sigh. "We'll try... but... don't get mad if we do try to come at her." She shifts her gaze to look back at her pirate friend. This is all she can say without saying something she can't take back. "So… no promises, but we'll try."
The male had no words to say, but a small nod of his head. Bonnie closes his eyes so he doesn't see the look on Kitten's face. If there really was a way to stop, they would've tried many times before.
This is all the cat wanted to hear, that they will at least try. A weight leaves her shoulders as she exhales the breath she didn't realize she was holding in. "Th-Thank you... both of you." Bringing a hand up, Kitten wipes her eyes using the side of her hand. "This means a lot to me."
"Freddy will not like this... He's already scared of losing us…" Chica says as she looks down at the floor with a thought in her head of what their leader might do, or say if he found out.
Bonnie quickly opens his eyes before turning his head to look at the youngest member, "Hasn't he always…?
Chica turns to look at Bonnie and thinks. "Well... now it's different…"Her eyes move to look at both of her love-struck friends. "I'm keeping your guys' secret, now I want you to keep mine. Got it?"
The pirate smiles at the blonde. "Of course! We're your friends after all."
The guitarist nods along with Kitten's statement. "We promise, Chica."
Taking in a deep breath, she then slowly releases it hearing them agree. While she might not like keeping secrets from her friends, this will be the one exception since they told her they would eventually come clean themselves. "Freddy... He doesn't really trust you, Kitten…" She grips the bottom of her skirt tightly as the words leave her mouth, not liking to spread negative news, but this is something she feels needs to be said. "He and I talked a little bit yesterday and he says that he thinks that you might actually get one, or all of us, hurt or broken…" Kitten's eyes widen in surprise hearing her explain this. "He blames your curiosity and childishness on making him paranoid… that he might lose one of us because of you…" Her voice starts to tremble as she looks down, growing terrified recalling the memory of the conversation. "He's also hoping that we won't be scared or isolate him because of how he treats you… But if this keeps up… h-he might hurt one of us BECAUSE we're friends with you…" The poor girl seems on the verge of breaking down into tears.
Kitten is quick to shift herself to Chica's side now that Bonnie has sat himself up, and pulls the girl into an embrace. "He'd never hurt you guys...! That's a fact...!" Rubbing Chica's back as she feels the young girl return the hug, the feline's ears fold back sullenly. "I feel like I'm tearing you guys apart…" she admits before parting back from Chica avoiding either of their gazes.
"What?" Bonnie asks as he quickly, but carefully, sits up while ignoring the slight headache from his fall. He reaches out and grasps both of Kitten's arms, holding her tightly while he stares into her eyes with a caring intensity. "Kitten, you're not tearing us apart at all! Don't even think like that!"
Watching the normally quiet and shy bun immediately jump at Kitten for what she said had both confused and shocked her. But the fact that Kitten felt sad about what Freddy thinks of her, also made the poor girl feel sad for her new friend. "I'm sorry... Maybe I shouldn't have said anything…" Chica whispers.
This sudden directness from the rabbit definitely takes the pirate by surprise and it shows all over her face. This time, it's Kitten's turn to have tear-filled eyes as her ears fall once more. "Bonnie... I…" Her voice trembles as she tears up and quickly moves to hug him. "I-I'm sorry…" she stutters before crying on his shoulder. The last thing she wanted to hear was that she could be getting these two in trouble just for being friends with her!
It wasn't until Kitten had embraced him that he realizes how fast and pushy he was towards her. He hated hearing his friends, who are more like his family, talk badly about themselves here and there. Sure, he has his own times of putting himself down as well... But hearing Kitten, someone who he feels close with, would actually say those words pushed him to act. With no words at all, Bonnie uses his actions as he wraps his arms around her frame, giving her a good squeeze in hopes it will comfort her.
Chica has to look away while she wipes away a tear that had slipped out from her eye. All this was, unfortunately taking a nasty bite out of all three of them. "I'll leave you two alone…" Chica says. She carefully gets up and dusts her skirt so it's less wrinkly from how long she was sitting. She looks back down at Kitten before she says, "I'll keep your secret for you…" before she hops off the stage landing on both feet perfectly. Taking one last look at the two, the young lady turns back around. She makes her way out of the room to the side entering the hallway, leaving the two alone without another word.
Kitten's great hearing is the only indicator that Chica leaves the room as the feline tries to compose herself. A massive headache starts to form as her grip on Bonnie's vest grows a bit tighter. A sniffle and grunt come from the girl as she starts to calm down. Bonnie being there for her is helping. Tilting her head off of his chest so she can talk without it being too muffled, though her voice is still stuttering. "Sh-should I talk to Freddy...? Try and…" she sniffles. "...and try to come to terms with him...?" Bringing a hand up she wipes her eyes with the back of her hand, thinking through what she might say to the bear before Bonnie's words pull her from her wondering thoughts.
"I think you should wait…" the male says gently as he comforts the cat girl. Bonnie knows that if he can stay calm, she should calm down easier. "He might still be suspicious of you…" His arms move from her back as they come around to hold onto her arms. Pulling her off of his chest so she can look up at him, he moves his hands to her shoulders and holds them. "If you want to, you can talk to Foxy. Just… make sure he won't do anything rash."
Listening to him explain his thoughts, she figures that he is probably right. With a sniffle, Kitten nods. "Alright…"
The purple-haired male gives her a kind smile before he leans in and leaves a small peck on her forehead. "It'll be okay… Chica, Foxy, and I will be here to help you." He says to hopefully reassure her.
His sweet gesture brings a small smile back to her cheeks. Having his support is making this a lot easier to handle. "Thanks Bonnie," she chuckles before wiping her eyes, finally calming down.
"You're welcome," Bonnie says before pulling her back in for one last comforting hug that she seems to happily return. After a moment, the pirate pulls back from the embrace and wipes her eyes one last time. His ears droop slightly seeing her wipe at her eyes. "Will you be okay...?" he asks with gentle concern in his tone
With a small nod, Kitten says, "I think so... but…" Her gaze moves to look back up at the male as her ears fall, worry entering her voice as she speaks. "If Foxy and Freddy start fighting... please... come to Pirate's Cove... Alright...?" Her expression almost makes her look desperate, like a cry for help when parents are fighting.
"Y-Yeah… I can. If you tell him to not fight... he might listen to you," the male suggests.
She sighs hearing that. And knowing Foxy… "Maybe... He'll definitely want to…"
"Maybe because he cares about you…" Bonnie explains in an attempt to make her feel better about the situation. "You are terrified to fight your own battles, so he wants to help and protect you…"
"I just…" Stopping herself before she can say something stupid, Kitten sighs. "Alright… I understand…" She's still fighting with herself, but it also shows that she can listen to him. Bonnie smiles as he leans into her face before he nuzzles his nose against her cheek, and she chuckles with a smile at this behavior. "You're too cute…!" she laughs before bringing her hands up to his chest.
He quietly chuckles along with her, his blush continues to grow from just hearing her cute laughter. With that said, and hopefully the issue is somewhat resolved, Bonnie hops off the stage landing perfectly just as Chica did before. He turns around to face her before he asks, "We can tell Foxy now, or wait... it's your choice."
One of the feline's eyebrows raises. "We?" she repeats to make sure she heard him correctly, a small smile stretching across her face.
The rabbit's face goes bright pink as he realizes what he said. "Um... if you want me for m-moral support?" he says quickly to try and explain why he offered to go with her.
With a chuckle at his stutter after she called him out, Kitten blushes a bit as she hops down to join him on the main floor and holds his hand. "Please?" While Bonnie may not be very direct with some things, Kitten knows all too well that he will be there for her as shown by this experience.
"Oh... Alright then. Let's get going." Bonnie smiles as his grip tightens, maybe for reassurance…or maybe he is secretly nervous about talking to Foxy. However, he was going to be there to help her no matter what. And with that thought in mind, both of the fated lovers make their way from the stage and down the hall towards Pirate's Cove, Kitten closely walking beside him.
