One morning, Riyo woke up and was getting ready for school. After stepping outside his house, he went around a corner.

"I think I'll take the shortcut today."

Summoning his Somersault Cloud, Riyo flew across the sky all the way to school before arriving at the rooftop and jumping off, skillfully rolling and standing up on his feet in one swift motion.

"And he sticks the landing!"

Heading downstairs, he looked around to make sure he wasn't late before heading for his class, only to bump into a pair of bouncy breasts and fall backward. Looking up, he saw it was none other than Katsuragi smirking at him as Ikaruga stood beside her.

"Glad to see you could make it, Riyo-Kun," Ikaruga noted.

"Did you like feeling 'em?" Katsuragi teased as she leaned over to look at Riyo.

"Meh, I've seen bigger and bouncier."

The blonde was aghast as even Ikaruga couldn't help but stifle a tiny giggle behind her hand at Riyo's sarcastic comeback as they joined him for class.

Back at the school, Riyo was in Phys Ed running laps, Ikaruga was keeping an even, steady pace while Katsuragi was running like she was training for the Olympics.

After they finished, Riyo wiped the sweat off his brow as he sat down before being handed a water bottle courtesy of Ikaruga.

"You looked like you were working hard."

"Well, I have all that training you girls have been putting me through to thank for that."

After Phys Ed was Lunch, and students gathered in the cafeteria to enjoy their lunch. Riyo, Ikaruga, and Katsuragi had decided to hang out together on the rooftop where Riyo had previously landed this morning.

"Think Asuka, Yagyuu, and Hibari are gonna be alright?" Riyo asked.

"Awwww, they're big girls! They can handle it." Katsuragi grinned. "In more ways than one~"

Ikaruga just gave an annoyed roll of her eyes while Riyo let out a deep sigh.

"Katsu...I need to ask...what do you get out of obsessing over girls' boobs. Don't you know that realistically, you'd get arrested for sexual harassment?"

Katsuragi gasped, deeply offended. "How dare you insinuate that! I'm merely an appreciator of women's bodies! It's not always boobs on my mind, you know!"

"Yes, sometimes you obsess over butts..." Ikaruga snarkily spoke up, making Riyo snort.

"Hey, why are you ganging up on me?!" Katsuragi whined.

After school, Riyo walked outside the building and saw that the sun was beginning to set. Smiling, he decided to take a walk and enjoy the sights, maybe go to the manga shop and get the latest volume of the new manga he was following.

As he was walking, he suddenly heard barking and looked to see a small dog coming up to him before sniffing his leg, followed by it circling him.

"Whoa, hey there, buddy? What's up with you?"

"Choco!"

Hearing Katsuragi's voice, Riyo noticed the blonde coming over as she crouched down and rubbed the dog's cheeks.

"Don't run away from Katsu-Nee, okay?"

"This your dog, Katsu?"

Katsuragi perked up as she noticed Riyo and immediately blushed, giving a sheepish grin as she rubbed the back of her head.

"Oh, hey...yeah, this is Choco."

"Hey there, nice to meet ya." The monkey boy smiled as he petted Choco on the head, the dog reciprocating his touch with a happy whine.

"So...I'm starved, wanna go to that ramen shack downtown?" Katsuragi suggested.

"Sure."

As the two walked together, Riyo noticed that Katsuragi seemed a bit more somber than usual.

"Hey, are you okay? Normally this would be the part where you try flirting with me, maybe even commenting on us going on a date or something."

"Nah, it's just..." Katsuragi tried to speak but couldn't find the words for a moment. "I don't think I've ever seen Choco bond with someone else before."

"Has she been your only companion?"

"For most of my life, yeah..." The blonde softly said. "My parents...they aren't around anymore."

"O-Oh, I'm sorry to-"

"It's okay, you couldn't have known. But yeah...they were great Shinobi, then one day, they failed at a particular mission..." Katsuragi began. "They were told to take out a traitor but they spared his life because they couldn't take him away from his loved ones and were told to give their lives as punishment...they went renegade and left me and Choco behind."

"Ouch..."

"I trained to become a Shinobi so I could restore their honor...and then when I finally reunited with them..." Katsuragi clenched her fist. "A Yoma got to them..."

Seeing tears begin to prick at the corners of the blonde's eyes, Riyo put a hand on her shoulder with an understanding look on his face. As they made it to the ramen shack, he sat her down and ordered for both of them, offering to pay.

"You don't have to do that..."

"Hey, Dad leaves me well off. I can afford it."

As the two sat together, sharing some drinks as they waited for the food to arrive, Katsuragi had something to ask.

"You're probably wondering why Ikaruga puts up with me so much."

"Yeah, you two do seem pretty mismatched."

"Well, when we first met, I wanted to be friends with her but she brushed me off. Ikaruga was kinda dealing with her own issues at the time but I didn't give up on her, I managed to form an understanding with her and we started bonding. In our second year, Ikaruga kinda went too hard on Asuka when she first arrived and I had to knock some sense into her because something was still eating at her...and that pretty much cemented us as friends."

"No wonder she tolerates your groping." Riyo chuckled.

"Awww, like you wouldn't with those jugs of hers?"

"I'm a gentleman first and foremost, Katsu. I don't just grab and go."

Katsuragi pouted. "You're so mean~"

Soon their ramen arrived and the two ate while continuing to chat, this time about more pleasant experiences in their lives as a mutual understanding came between them.

This was more Katsuragi's chapter than Ikaruga's but I figured it'd fit them both for the most part.
