Star 2: Shine! It's Individuality!

"Are you sure you don't need to run to the nurse?" Yume asked me as we walked.

"We can take you there if you want." Koharu told me, sounding worried.

I was already tired. I wanted a bed. I wanted this to be a nightmare. Why isn't this a nightmare?! When can I wake up?! SOMEONE WAKE ME UP!

"N-No… I'm fine." I told them both, lying to myself. "If I still feel bad in class, I can ask the teacher to let me go." If I remember correctly, these two are in different classes. I have the rock teacher, Hibiki Anna, and so does Yume. Ah, this sucks. Luckily it's my favorite teacher in Aikatsu Stars. Actually, she's the only teacher that appears the most other than the principal.

Yume smiled at Koharu. "I'll watch over her, Koharu-chan. It's sad that we ended up in different classes." Almost the exact words were used in the first episode.

"At least we're roommates, so we'll see each other all the time." Koharu smiled. Oh! She used the exact words! "I'll leave her in your hands."

"I guess you're right. Well, our stop is here." Yume smiled as she waved to Kohaku. Looking at me, she smiled. "Let's go, Nanase-chan."

"Y-Yes, Nijino.." I let Yume pull me into the classroom and waved at Koharu. "Thank you, Nanakura-san." Seeing her wave back, I nodded. Yep, best girl.

Between Yume and Koharu, I loved Koharu more. She was sweet, caring, and basically the best character. She grew up and became someone reliable. I hated that we couldn't see her development because she left overseas, but… It was worth it in the second season! Best girl!

Meanwhile…. Yume…. I looked at her and watched her be amazed by the classroom. This girl isn't a bad character. It's just…. The writers did her bad by making her overpowered and very, VERY lucky! For example, she managed to get the principal and Hime's attention, but it was more they were worried about her and made her do a solo live when she's a newbie, gave her a lead role in a fairy story, Subaru had an acting scene with her, and the list goes on. It's all like… Handed to her and it makes her aikatsu very… strict. Sure, there are times she gets to know the characters, but like…. The principal and Hime pave a way for her to stroll past the other characters. Sure she cried one episode, but it was just that one episode. Let's not forget the power of the rainbow performances that everyone is amazed by even though it's hurting her. Like people, please! Don't just watch and pave the road, help her! Self-produce is for her to find jobs herself, not train by herself! Instead of giving her a solo live, a play, and that awesome stuff, give her more lessons and training so she doesn't rely on that power!

"Nanase-chan?" Yume's voice broke my thoughts. "Wanna go sit up there?"

"Huh? Oh, sure!" I smiled. Trust me, Yume is a cute character, but I hate the way they treated her. She's not the best girl, but she is the main girl. Once we sat down, the main door opened and I was shocked to see an awesome character. Okay, this is gonna be awesome!

"Morning, Babies." The woman with a bob cut smiled as she leaned on the door. Yes! I was called a baby but her! My life is fine to end now! I thought as she walked to the teacher's desk. "I'm your class's homeroom teacher."

"Best teacher." I whispered and looked away when Yume looked at me. She heard me… For sure.

"Hibiki Anna!" The teacher smiled as she wrote the name in large kanji letters on the blackboard.

"Huh? She has your first name." Yume blinked.

"Y-Yes…" I smiled, nervously. That's why she was my favorite girl character. Not only did she care about Yume and her friends, she also had my name from Japan as well.

"You can bet I'll be rocking this year with you, so don't you forget it!" Slay, rock queen! "Say, girls. There's one important thing you must remember if you want to be the brightest star. What do you think?" She asked as she leaned over a desk.

Excitement took over and I smiled. "Individuality." I spoke up. Oh no, why did I speak up?!

"Oh! Looks like one baby knows her stuff!" She smiled at me. Stop, I'm gonna blush! "That's right. It's individuality!"

"Oh! Wow." Yume looked at me, amazed. "How did you know?" I just smiled. Cuz I watched this show so many times that I know all the lines… is something I can't tell her.

"To foster your own personal glimmer at this academy, we teach you how to self-produce." She took out a mic stand and started dancing with it! Yes! Go, Queen! Go! "That said, it's time to pass out the rockingest item you'll need, so come when I call you. First Aoyama Chiharu."

I was enjoying the show when Yume pulled my sleeve. "Hey, what did she mean by self-producing?" Eh? She doesn't know?

"Ah, it means that you have to build your idol career and the teachers will help guide us." I explained. "It's like, they can tell us how to improve our idol skills but they're not gonna boss us around. We will decide our next step in our idol lives. Adults have to work this way for everyday life. Basically, the teachers will be expecting us to act like adults in a way."

"Eh? Sounds hard…" Yume whined. She totally looked like a puppy just now.

"Not really." I told her. "For example… What does your mom want you to eat for breakfast every day?"

"Um… A lot of things…" She thought about it.

"What do you want to eat every day?" I asked.

"Hotcakes!" She answered without hesitation. "Oh!" She figured it out. "It's bad if I eat hotcakes every day, so my mom changes it."

"That's right." I smiled. "You have to think about not only what you like but also what's good for you and will help you to become stronger."

"Alright, Nanase Hibiki. Oh, same rocking name as me." Anna-sensei called and I got up.

"Be right back." I waved as Yume smiled. Once I arrived, Anna-sensei smiled at me.

"This is your student ID, and here's your Aikatsu Mobile." Anna-sensei handed me the card in a cardholder and a pink phone. Wow, it's deco-ed. Once I took my things, she snapped her fingers to make me look at her. "Stop by the Dress Make Room later to pick out your School Dress."

Oh yeah! I get to have a school dress! Ah, I did like season 2's school dresses, but season one's were so pretty as well. Now I'm getting one! Yesh! "Of course!" I smiled.

"Okay! Let's see here… Nijino Yume." Anna-sensei called as I turned around to walk away.

"Yes!" Yume raced down the stairs and smiled at me as she rushed to get her phone.

As I walked to my desk, I looked at the phone and saw so many apps. "Wow, I can access so much from here. Even though it's a school phone, this is crazy cool to have." I spoke to myself as I looked at the apps. "Huh?" I blinked when I saw a familiar app, but couldn't look into it since I heard a knock next to me.

/Knock, knock!/

"Eh?" I looked over and saw a pink-haired girl outside. Huh? Isn't that… Yume's rival? Without caring, I opened the door and she walked in.

"You're a lifesaver. Thanks." She smiled at me after she looked to see if anyone noticed her come in through the window. "It totes felt like I blew it on my first day." She winked and stuck out her tongue. How cute! Without me noticing, she took Yume's spot and smiled at me. "Hey, what's your name?"

"Eh?" I blinked. "I'm Nanase, Hibiki. Nice to meet you." I answered. "And you?"

"Nice to meet'cha. I'm-" Her words were interrupted.

"Sakuraba Rola." Anna-sensei called her and she got up to walk over. I quickly took back my spot and Yume finally returned.

"Who was that?" Yume asked.

"Someone very interesting." I told her in response. Rola was the best girl for my cool type idols. She was cute, smart, talented, and man, did she leave an impression on me that first episode and here.

"Not many people come in late on their first day." Anna-sensei got Yume and I's attention. "You must think highly of yourself."

"Yume, remember what I said about self-producing?" I whispered to Yume as Rola gave a meh sorry. Seeing Yume nod, I smirked. "Rola is already ahead of us."

Hearing Anna-sensei laugh, we looked back as she spoke. "Well, you could say… This is individuality!" The pole dancing is back! "Okay, Baby. I'll let you off the hook this time." The woahs and wows in the room were all amazed. Meanwhile, I'm just having fun. "But don't expect another second chance. Just take these and go."

"Best teacher." I nodded.

"That's…" Yume looked at me.

"Self-producing happening. Sakuraba-san came in late and made a big impression on us. Anna-sensei saw this and let it go. It's like telling Sakuraba-san that this is the choice she made so now keep walking with it." I explained. It was a good scene and my favorite after Subaru's scene.

"All right girls, back to your seats." Anna-sensei clapped her hands as the bells rang and Rola sat in front of me. "And with that, you're free to go. You can do whatever you'd like now, babies. Think about how to make the most of your time. That's self-producing. Right then, bye-bee." She waved her hand and left.

I leaned back in my chair. "Best teacher." I smiled as Yume nodded in agreement.

"I heard some girls say they were going to train, and some others are going back to their rooms." Koharu told Yume and I. After class, we met with Koharu and wondered what to do next. Why am I here, you ask? Simple. Yume pulled me to follow her and Rola left me with her. Although, I felt like I forgot something important in the classroom.

"Wanna come explore the campus with me then?" Yume asked Koharu and I.

"I'm down." I answered. It might be a good idea to know what and where everything is. Plus, we gotta make our school dresses.

"Sure," Koharu smiled. "Oh, my teacher told us there was a guide for new students. There's an app for it on the Aikatsu Mobiles." Koharu pulled out her phone and opened an app while Yume and I got behind her to see what Koharu was talking about.

Hey, Anna-sensei… Why didn't you tell us about this?!

"Greetings to all the new students," S4 popped out in a hologram from the phone and spooked me. "We'll show you around the school."

"That's cool." I spoke up. "They're giving us a guided tour."

"Yeah!" Koharu smiled, proud.

"Let's start here." Yume clicked a button and our tour had started.

First was the cafeteria and a good choice. Yuzu-senpai was telling us about it. It's the perfect spot for chatting with others and eating some awesome meals. Yume, nice choice! Back in Tokyo, making food for myself was hard. I'm glad to be a kid again. No, I'm glad I came here now. Food is life, food is love~!

Next were the dorms, Four Star Dorms, and Tsubasa-senpai was in charge of this part of the tour. The dorms were all two beds and were really nice. There was a curfew, but if you were traveling for a job or even staying with family, you had to give a notice to the student council president, which was Tsubasa-senpai. I was moving into the dorms but I didn't meet my roommate yet. I hope she's nice to me.

"Here is the Dress Make Room." Kasumi Yozora spoke thru the Phone speaker. "You'll be able to customize your dresses here."

"Finally!" I jumped for joy.

"New Students?" A student with a blazer over her uniform spoke up to us. When we replied yes, she gave us a smile. "Please come this way." Leading us to an ATM type machine, she started to explain. "This is where you'll be creating your own cards. First authenticate yourself using your student ID. Then select 'School Dress'. All you need to do is pick your favorite styles and colors."

As she explained, I did her steps while she showed Yume and Koharu on another ATM machine. As I messed with the outfit, I started to think back when I first saw the show.

The original Aikatsu just gave you these school coords, not even asking if you liked them or not. It was something I never thought about until Stars came out and introduced this. This makes it seem like the idols pick their school dresses and weren't forced to take them. Although, I do hate the fact that they took away Brand Top Designers and idols working to get their designer's approval before they made the girl's Premium Rare Dresses, rare dresses that are basically one-of-a-kind.

"Finished!" Yume's cheer made me jump and misclick.

"Me too!" Koharu cheered. "What about you, Nanase-chan?"

"Almost." I smiled and looked at my coord to see what I did. Huh? One is a normal boot and the other is a knee boot. Hmmm… "I'll go with this!"

Once we were done, we got our cards from that same senpai and I gazed at my coord. I chose a cute crop-top type of jacket shirt with puff sleeves that were detached from my shirt. The three layer skirt with pink, the pattern, and sparkly blue layers. And lastly, my boots that were originally from different sets. I love it!

As we walked out, Yume was also gazing at her cards. "I can't believe I have such a lovely dress that's all my own! It feels like I'm already an idol!"

"You're getting ahead of yourself, Yume-chan." Koharu warned.

"Well, but I get the feeling, but let's calm down. We haven't stepped on stage yet." I reminded her. I jumped when some girls ran past us talking about S4. "Huh? What's going on?"

"They said S4!" Koharu got my attention and Yume agreed.

"Let's check it out!" Yume grabbed my arm and pulled me to follow once again.

"I can walk!" I groaned as they walked over.

Once we reached our destination, you could already hear girls getting excited about the four girls that walked out of the building. Yume was saying stuff about S$ and Hime being the top idol at our school, but there was something I always felt towards her that I still have. I don't really like her. She saw Yume had this power in the show and 'tries' to help her overcome it. She was basically holding Yume's hand to follow her which was stupid. I get it. She was worried, but it was annoying to see that Yume did everything Hime said because she was a big fan. Also, Hime's singing voice actress was Akari Ozora's SVA from the original series, so I couldn't hate her too much.

"Huh? Yume-chan?" Koharu snapped me out of my thoughts and made me look around. S4 were still waving at the other students and hadn't gotten in their limos.

"Where did Yume go?" I asked and then remembered. I turned to see the hill way behind us and took off running. "I'm going to look for her!"

Yes, that's right! This scene… The scene that got me excited for this series. I reached the top of the hill and looked up at the tree. "Yume! Hey! Are you there?!" I yelled, but I got no reply. "What? Where is she?"

"Hey, are you lost?"

A voice from behind me made me shiver. "Eh?" My heart started to beat fast and I was having trouble breathing from all the running and the voice from behind. I slowly turned and saw a boy in front of me. He had on casual wear; white button up, blue pants, and some red sneakers. His short chocolate-brown hair waved in the wind with mine and his sapphire blue eyes stared at my teary eyes.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked as he approached me.

"No way…" I held my hands up to cover my mouth and nose, afraid to hiccup or even have snot fall down from my nose. "It's… Subaru Yuuki from M4."
