Ichigo rolls her aching neck, sighing heavily. She enters the Kisuke's old shop and immediately twirls around to avoid a broom about to hit her. She glances around and quickly finds the culprit.

A small boy with bright red hair and black eyes stood beside the open door with slightly wide eyes, not expecting the orange haired teenager to enter. He glares up at Ichigo when she glares down at him.

"Watch where you swing that broom, brat!" Ichigo exclaims with a scowl.

"Who're you calling a brat, ugly lady?!" The boy shouts back, raising his broom.

"E-eh? Jinta, you–you can't hit a customer!" A small girl with black pigtails and almost glowing purple eyes states with a furrowed expression.

"Jinta, get back to cleaning and stop bothering the customers," A buff man states with a stern look towards the boy. Ichigo sniffs with a smirk, making Jinta scowl up at her.

The man towers over Ichigo as he faces the teenager. "My name is Tsukabishi Tessai. You're Kurosaki Ichigo, I presume?"

Ichigo glances at the shadowy figure floating behind Tessai. It fades away before she could get any clear visual of it.

"Yeah. One and only. That brat always throw brooms at people?" Ichigo asks, glaring at a grumbling Jinta. The boy sticks his tongue out at her before quickly rushing away when Tessai turns to give him a look.

"Yes, unfortunately. He's getting better," Tessai says with a twitch of a smile on his face. Ichigo hums and stifles a smile of her own, crossing her arms.

"Where's geta-bōshi?" Ichigo looks around the shop, eyes glazing over slightly.

"It's that presence again. Dead, but still alive... who are these people?" Ichigo frowns slightly.

"Ichigo," Ossan speaks softly, snapping the female out of her thoughts.

"–the hall. Ururu will show you the way." She tunes in at the last part of Tessai's answer, rapidly blinking away her thoughts.

Ichigo looks down and notices the incredibly shy girl standing in front of her. A soft smile appears on the orange haired teenager's face before she crouches down to be at Ururu's eye level.

"Hello. My name is Kurosaki Ichigo. What's yours?"

"T-Tsumugiya Ururu... nice to meet you, Kurosaki-san..." Ururu speaks, using one of her pigtails to hide her face.

"Call me Ichigo. I was never one for formalities." Ichigo stands back up, placing a hand on her hip. "I'll be in your care, Ururu-chan."

The young girl turns beet red and quickly ducks her head. She starts to briskly walk towards the back of the shop without saying a word.

Ichigo chuckles silently and follows after the girl. "Adorable. The twins would hit it off with her."

"U-Urahara-san, I-I-Ichigo-san is–she's here," Ururu stutters out, standing at an open shōji door. She bows quickly before running off before anyone could see her shy embarrassment even more.

"Those brats are pretty young. Shouldn't they be 'n school?" Ichigo asks without prompt. She walks towards the entrance of the room and immediately glances around.

The first thing that stands out is the ruthlessly beautiful lady standing behind a sitting Kisuke. Kisuke smiles and fans himself, eyes shadowed by his weird hat.

"Kurosaki-chan! I'm glad you could make it. Please sit. Tessai just made some tea," Kisuke greets jovially while waving his fan towards the low table in front of him. Ichigo takes note of the agura position he was sitting in before her eyes flicker back up at the lady spirit behind him.

"So, he has one too..."

The lady had beautiful dark hair, almost as black as an inky night sky, styled with part of it tied in two loops on each side of her head and tied together like a bow, the rest flowing down and ending at her lower back. She wore a crimson red tomesode kimono, with a silver intricate design that Ichigo couldn't see from where she stood, and a silver obi tied in a large bow. Her pale skin seemed to pop out from the two contrasting colors, making her seem even paler. Her grey eyes held a certain gleam that promised an endless amount of deaths if she is even slightly provoked.

"...of course," Ichigo finally speaks up after a few moments. She toes off her shoes and walks in with a relaxed posture. She kneels on the empty cushion before gracefully sitting in a seiza position.

"What kind of tea did Tsukabishi make?" Ichigo grabs her own cup and takes a whiff of whatever was poured.

"Sencha. I didn't know what kind you liked, if you liked any type of tea," Kisuke answers, still fanning himself with his quirky smile. Ichigo hums and takes a small sip.

"I prefer matcha or English teas. Oolong is good too," Ichigo comments with a tight smile of her own. "Are those kids homeschooled?"

"Hmph. At least she has some taste. You'd prefer the cheapest matcha if you could find it," The lady in the red tomesode states in a regal tone of disgust. Ichigo refrains from smiling by biting her cheek.

"...yes. They are my wards. Tsumugiya Ururu and Hanakari Jinta," Kisuke answers with a smile.

"Is there anything you needed me to do today? Or are you just going to have me over for tea?" Ichigo asks conversationally, taking another sip of her tea.

Kisuke keeps smiling that off smile of his and takes a sip of his own tea. "So impatient, Kurosaki-chan! Let's enjoy the tea for a bit before we get to work."

Ichigo couldn't stop herself from scrunching her face before it was too late. She feels her ears burn when the light blonde chuckles behind his fan.

A male stranger talking with Isshin chuckles, hiding his brittle smile behind his fan. Ichigo turns her blank gaze from her peripherals and towards the gravestone.

The rain was ice cold and made the twins huddle closer to her as they cried. The rain hid her own tears from the world.

Ichigo blinks once, mentally shaking off the memory. She refrains from narrowing her eyes when she stares at Kisuke.

"Kurosaki-chan?" Kisuke asks curiously, eyes gleaming slightly in confusion. The orange haired teenager opens her mouth to speak.

We've met before. "Thank you for the tea. Where's Yoruichi?" Ichigo doesn't voice her thoughts.

"In time, Ichigo. In time," Ossan reassures in his usual cryptic manner. Ichigo takes a longer sip from her tea, reluctantly pushing her thoughts to the back of her head.

Patience and trust. Trust and patience. Things always worked out when she listened to her spirits.

"Oh? Chad-san! What are you doing here?" Yuzu asks brightly as she, Karin, and Rukia walk out of their middle school. Chad stood off to the side, holding a birdcage, his appearance slightly rumpled but otherwise okay.

"Ichigo is working today," Chad states quietly, making Karin roll her eyes with a huff.

"We can walk home by ourselves," Karin states while walking forward. Yuzu gives her twin a small look before beaming up at the tall teenager.

"Thank you for taking us home!" Yuzu blinks before she grabs Rukia's wrist and drags her over. "Oh! This is our new friend! Rukia-san, this is Chad-san! Ichi-nē's best friend."

They all start walking with Chad standing in between the street and the twins. Rukia raises an eyebrow before focusing on keeping up her persona, smiling brightly.

"Pleasure to meet your acquaintance, sir! My name is Kuchiki Rukia," Rukia introduces herself in her cheerfully sweet voice, giving a small nod. Yuzu glances down at the birdcage and immediately tenses.

"That bird... Where'd you find it, Chad-san?" Yuzu asks slowly as she tilts her head. Karin blinks at the question before she focuses on the bird as well.

The world gets dragged out from underneath her feet the moment she catches the eyes of the bird. She couldn't feel anything, except the sheer amount of sadness and longing that the bird was feeling.

"Kāsan! Kāsan!" A young boy sobs out, desperately shaking his mother's limp shoulder. The blood soaks the balcony floor around him, quickly staining the boy's pants.

"Karin?"

"Kāsan! Wake up, Kāsan!"

"Breathe! Karin, breathe!" Tamaichi cries out urgently. Karin gasps for air, almost collapsing to the ground. A grip on her arm keeps her from completely collapsing as she sucks in the oxygen she had unknowingly denied herself.

Chad gently wraps an arm around her waist and keeps her from faceplanting into the ground. Rukia was the one who had grabbed Karin's arm.

"Karin! What's wrong? What happened? Are you okay?" Yuzu shoots question after question, lifting Karin's head up to check her eyes. "Do we need to get you to the clinic? I'll need to call Onēchan. Are you sick?"

"Karin, just keep breathing, sweet. You're fine. It was just a memory," Tamaichi reassures as she keeps a constant presence in Karin's mind.

"Fine–'m fine. I just..." Karin trails off, instinctively glancing back at the bird.

"Sorry. I'm sorry," The bird speaks up guiltily, head bowed. Karin clenches her eyes shut as the memory replays again. She takes in a shaky breath and slowly stands back up on her own feet.

"Let's go home," The black haired girl states as she forces herself to walk towards her home. Her knees buckle with every step and her head pounds with the constant cries for "Kāsan."

"Karin?" Rukia speaks quietly, quickly walking in step with the human girl while keeping her grip on her arm. Karin glances up at her, sweat forming on her forehead.

"...that bird. It has a spirit inside it. It's–he's just a little boy. We need to help him. We need to send him to Soul Society," Karin says with utter conviction. She reaches for the hand gripping her arm and grabs the wrist in a tight hold. "We have to."

Rukia stares at her for a few long moments before slowly nodding her head. Her mouth was set in a grim line and something flickered in Rukia's eyes too fast for Karin to catch.

"Tonight. We'll send him to Soul Soci–"

"Chad-san, look out!" Karin and Rukia snap their heads at the cry. Karin sees a flash of a Hollow on top of a car, making it lose control and speed towards the group, disappearing not a moment later.

"Chad!" Karin cries out and races forward as the older male stands in front of the group, making the car slam into his back. Yuzu quickly grabs Karin's arm and pulls her back as the car swerves, barely missing them both before it slams into a streetlight.

"Sir! Sir, Are you okay?!" The bird squawks as Chad slowly uncurls himself from around the birdcage.

"Chad! Don't stand up. You just got hit by a car!" Karin exclaims loudly, trying to stop the tall teenager from standing. Chad doesn't listen and silently stands up.

Yuzu races forward when Chad starts to sway on his own two feet. "Chad-san!"

Karin and Yuzu grunt under Chad's dead weight, quickly going underneath his arms to take him to their clinic.

"Rukia-san, grab the birdcage! We're going to our clinic," Yuzu orders as she and Karin start walking.

"I'm sorry... This was my fault," The bird says softly. Karin instinctively glances at it before wincing heavily. She clenches her eyes shut and takes a deep breath, ignoring how her knees buckle.

"We need to hurry. I don't know where that Hollow went and we need to get Chad stabilized before it comes back," Yuzu states calmly, face set in her still seriousness. Karin keeps her eyes shut, but nods her head in agreement, trying to keep herself from passing out.

She needs to get Chad to the clinic first. Everything else can wait. Just get him to the clinic first and then worry about passing out.

Karin startles awake to the faint sounds of old metal moving. Her eyes snap open and stare at the swaying red that fills her vision. She sits up and looks around, pausing when she sees a decrepit sign of sorts falling from the sky. It lands in the field of red poppies, exploding in a flurry of snow.

She looks up from where the sign had come from and stares as another piece of debris falls from the abandoned amusement park above her head. A deep, beautiful churning sea surrounds the horizon. Karin almost believes she's underwater, but how the ocean appears from where she sat makes her think otherwise.

"You're finally awake." The black haired girl whips her head around, reaching to her hip to grab the hilt of her wakizashi.

A woman sat on top of a boulder, obscured by a black cloak. Her long brown hair blew in a non-existent wind, eyes covered by a visor.

"...who are you?" Karin asks slowly, eyes narrowed and hand gripping her zanpakutō.

"I am the same person as the one you met and a stranger," The woman speaks in a sort of detached way that makes Karin tense.

She glances around once more, trying to find any sense of familiarity. "Where am I?"

"Your Inner World. This place is the manifestation of what makes up your entire soul. This is where your zanpakutō normally resides," The woman explains as another non-existent breeze seems to blow her hair in her face.

"Then, what are you to me, Obāsan?" Karin asks, slowly relaxing. She couldn't feel any deceitful intent from the woman at this moment.

The woman stays silent. A large gust of wind blows up dozens of poppy petals and makes them swirl around, blocking Karin's sight. When the wind dies down, the woman is replaced by a tense and worried Tamaichi.

"Karin! Are you alright?" Tamaichi jumps off of the boulder and kneels in front of the 11 year old girl. Karin stares at the spot where the woman once sat for a few more moments before focusing on her zanpakutō.

"...I'm fine. Why am I in my Inner World? Who was that?" Karin asks, glancing around for the strange woman. Tamaichi bites the inside of her cheek and she grabs Karin's shoulders.

"...you don't need to worry about her. And you passed out after getting Chad-san in the clinic," The zanpakutō spirit vaguely reassures her wielder. Karin narrows her eyes at the spirit, but doesn't say anything.

"How do I leave? Is Yuzu okay? And Rukia?" Karin asks with furrowed eyebrows. Tamaichi's eyes fill with love and amusement while her expression stays the same.

"It's as easy as falling asleep."

Karin nods her head, slowly relaxing her posture. "I can return here, right?"

"As simple as waking up," Tamaichi speaks in riddles and amusement. Karin smiles and nods her head before closing her head. She takes a deep breath and clears her mind.

Yuzu sighs quietly while she stretches her back. She takes off the bloodied gloves and throws them in the bin next to the clinic door. She glances back at the unconscious Chad and the sleeping parakeet sitting next to his bed before exiting the clinic.

"Rukia-san, is Karin any better?" She asks quietly, walking over to the couch. Karin panted heavily in her sleep, face flushed and skin pale.

"Her fever has gone down, as well as her thoughts." Rukia rings out the soaked rag and gently places it on top of Karin's forehead. "I didn't expect her to be so... attuned to spirits and emotions."

Yuzu stays silent, sitting next to Karin's head with a worried gaze. She sighs quietly and gently runs her fingers through her twin sister's hair. Karin instinctively leans up into the touch, relaxing even more.

"She always has been. It's why she acts so... harsh and closed off from everyone. It makes it easier for her to feel normal than to feel everything around her by just looking," The light blonde speaks with a soft smile. She looks up and glances out of the balcony doors, sighing once more.

"That wound on Chad-san's back..."

Rukia nods with a thoughtful frown. "That was an injury caused by a Hollow. It must be the Hollow that caused that vehicle to hit him."

"I don't want to leave Karin alone with such a high fever, but we'll need to cleanse this Hollow as soon as possible..." Yuzu talks mostly to herself, watching her twin's breathing even out into a calm sleep.

"We won't be able to track it tonight, unless it comes here. We'll still need to keep watch. Where does Ichigo-san work?" Rukia agrees with insight of her own.

"With some sketchy shopkeeper she says. She'll be staying the night at Orihime-san's. She's still worried about her." Yuzu sighs and stands back up. "Are you hungry? I can cook something for us."

"You should rest. It's late," Rukia says, making Yuzu smile tiredly.

"I think I'll make some soup." The light blonde pretends she doesn't hear the Shinigami, walking into the kitchen. She doesn't notice Rukia's narrowed gaze following her back.

"Rin-san will want you to rest," Saibami states cheerfully in Yuzu's mind. Yuzu sighs silently as she rummages through the cabinets.

"Let me cook something for Karin first. She'll need something on her stomach when she wakes up." Yuzu rolls back her shoulders and grabs a large pot. She forces a smile on her face and turns on the stove. Yuzu has a feeling tomorrow's going to be incredibly stressful.

Karin breathes in deeply through her mouth. She chokes on air, her throat dry, and starts to cough loudly. She suddenly leans on her side, head spinning around like a merry-go-round and entire body searing like a furnace.

"Wh-what... Where...?" Karin sucks in another breath when she leans too far on her side and falls off the couch. Her coughing gets worse at the sudden intake of breath and curls into a slight ball on the hardwood floor.

"...'rin...? Karin!" Yuzu's exhausted voice echoes too loudly in Karin's head. A whimper escapes her throat before she feels an icy hand on her forehead.

"Karin, you're in the living room. Chad's in the infirmary. Let me go get you some water!" Yuzu says quietly, quickly running her hand through her twin sister's hair before she leaves Karin.

Karin heaves out raspy breaths when her coughing finally subsides. Her face scrunches in pain when she swallows, small little knives stabbing her throat.

"Oh, sweet... everything will be okay. Drink the water your sister is getting you," Karin leans into the ghostly hand Tamaichi places in her cheek. Tamaichi laughs under her breath and brushes back some of her wielder's hair from out of her face.

"Karin, I'm back. I'm going to help you sit up, okay?" Yuzu speaks softly, falling to her knees beside Karin. Karin continues to breathe heavily as she nods her head. Yuzu gently places her free hand underneath Karin's body and presses up. Tamaichi helps stabilize the sick girl, having her rest against the coffee table.

"Yuzu? What happened? Are you okay?" Karin hears the incredibly familiar voice speak from the stairs. She clenches her eyes shut as her head is tilted back. That's right. Rukia is staying with them.

"Karin woke up and fell off the couch, Rukia-san. Can you go get me a new washcloth?" The light blonde asks quietly, carefully tilting the glass of water against Karin's lips.

The black haired girl greedily drinks the water, practically melting into the coffee table from the immense relief to her throat. She sighs heavily, almost sounding like a wheeze, and rests her head against the cold coffee table.

"Where... where is Ichi-nē?" Karin thinks when she realizes she doesn't feel her older sister's presence anywhere in the house. Actually... she can't feel Chad's presence, or the bird's presence, either.

Karin snaps her head up with wide eyes, startling her sister and the Shinigami. "Ch-Chad..."

"Karin! Don't move!" Yuzu scolds her younger sister as Karin forces herself to stand. "Kurosaki Karin!"

"Chad's... Chad's gone..." Karin forces out of her mouth, biting back her nausea. She stumbles to the ground, trying to rush towards the clinic.

"What do you mean? He was sleeping in the clinic the entire–" Yuzu cuts herself off, clearly sensing what Karin had sensed.

"Karin! Stay inside and don't come after us! Rukia-san, go get that glove! Chad-san's not in the clinic and neither is the bird!" Yuzu orders sternly, catching both Karin and Rukia off guard, Rukia never having heard Yuzu call out an order and Karin surprised her sister is taking charge. She helps Karin up and helps her to the couch.

"Rukia-san!" Yuzu's shout startles the Shinigami out of her shock. Rukia quickly nods, already running back up the stairs.

"Yes!"

"Y'zu... Y'zu, I can still... I c'n still help." Karin tries to stand back up when Yuzu sits her on the couch. Her older twin glares at her with a scowl, gently pushing her back down.

"You and Ichi-nē are the same! You're going to lay down and rest! Rukia-san will be there to watch out for me, okay?" Yuzu states with her arms crossed. Karin looks up at her with hazy eyes, trying to glare at her.

"I can keep her here, Yuzu-san. Go find Chad-san," Tamaichi says softly, sitting on top of the coffee table in seiza. Yuzu sighs with a smile and nods her head.

"Yuzu!" Rukia rushes back down, pulling on the glove. Yuzu nods her head at the Shinigami and sits on the corner couch cushion.

"Let's hurry! Chad-san knows he shouldn't be moving from those wounds!" Yuzu states before Rukia slaps her chest. The light blonde stumbles to the floor as she's forced out of her body. She winces when she lands on her leg at the wrong angle, but quickly gets back up.

"It's early morning. He could be on the other side of town by now," Rukia says as the two run out of the apartment. The older looking Yuzu shakes her head with a frown growing on her face.

"He's not. Those injuries took too much out of him. Let's get to the street and I'll be able to find where he is," Yuzu denies, already looking around with a narrowed gaze.

"What do you mean? This town is completely smothered with spiritual energy. I wouldn't even be able to sense the Plus Souls, let alone humans, with my full strength," Rukia states, confused and disbelieving.

Yuzu smiles knowingly at the Shinigami as they run down the stairs two at a time. "Trust me, okay? I can find Chad-san."

Rukia stares at her before wordlessly facing straight ahead. Her foot lands on the ground as Yuzu jumps over the rest of the steps, landing with her knees bent before she straightens out.

"Hurry. The quicker we find the bird, the quicker we can save them both." Rukia nods her head towards the empty street. The sky starts to get darker, dawn approaching.

Yuzu nods back, expression solemn, and walks to the sidewalk. She glances around before turning to face Rukia with her head tilted towards the ground and eyes closed.

"Hopefully I've gotten better at it..." Yuzu takes a deep breath and releases it. Chad would be her best bet.

A soft white slowly fades into existence around Yuzu. Her hakama starts to billow around her as the soft white folds over itself, leeching out across her surroundings.

Rukia watches, completely awestruck, and tenses when the soft white reaches her own weakened reiatsu. Warmth starts to surround her from the, currently, strawberry blonde's reiatsu, almost like a warm blanket would in the winter. It curls around before expanding even more in streaks like sunlight.

How can a human be able to do this? What is going on with the family?!

"Mm. Follow the one to the left, Yu-san. And stay alert," Saibami states, mentally nudging Yuzu. Yuzu takes a deep breath and slowly releases her presence from going further and turns towards the left.

"He's this way!" Yuzu exclaims as she starts to run. Rukia quickly follows behind her, frowning heavily.

"You shouldn't be able to do that... how can you do that?" Rukia asks, staring at Yuzu's back. Yuzu glances over her shoulder with a blink before smiling thoughtfully.

"I don't really know... We've always been able to." Yuzu faces forward again, not noticing Rukia's narrowed gaze. Yuzu spots a familiar silhouette hunched over something and scowls slightly.

"Sado Yasutora!" Yuzu shouts loudly, picking up her speed. Chad stumbles to a stop and whirls around at his full name. Rukia and Yuzu blink in surprise at Chad hearing Yuzu.

"...Kuchiki?" Chad slowly speaks up as the Shinigami stops in front of him. Rukia glares up at him before glancing at Yuzu.

"Chad, you're severely injured. Why did you run away?" Rukia asks, trying to appear like her fake persona.

Yuzu huffs with her hands placed on her hips. "Chad-san, if Ichi-nē finds out, she's going to kill you!"

Chad suddenly tenses, showing his surprise, and stares at where Yuzu stood. His eyes narrow as he shifts his weight.

"...Yuzu? Why can't I see you?" Chad asks before he gently shakes his head. Yuzu sighs and shakes her own head, glancing around.

"There's no time. Chad-san, why did you run? Is the Hollow–um... Did the bird tell you to run?" Yuzu changes the subject. The bird squawks loudly, flapping his wings in the birdcage.

"Run! You have to run! I don't want you to die! It's not safe!" The bird shouts in an attempt to get the three to run away.

"I promised, Shibata. You're going to see your mother again." Chad shakes his head, both to dispel his dizziness and to showcase his denial.

"You got injured because of me... and nēsan got sick because of me! He'll come back! He's going to come back!" Yūichi tries again, louder this time.

"You two smell delicious..."

Yuzu instinctively reaches a hand up and grabs the hilt of her zanpakutō. She whirls around and quickly blocks an attack from hitting Chad.

"Yuzu!" Rukia calls out when the Hollow swats the light blonde from the side. Yuzu tumbles across the ground, but keeps a tight grip on her zanpakutō.

"Yuzu?!" Chad starts to race forward, only for Rukia to suddenly tackle him. The ground where Chad would have stood is destroyed by the Hollow.

Yuzu quickly sits up in a crouch, glaring at the Hollow. "I'm fine!"

"Asshole... I need to defeat him quickly. He'll kill Chad-san and Rukia-san!" Yuzu tightens her grip on Saibami before leaping forward.

"You will be my third Shinigami! Each one always tastes better than the last!" The Hollow exclaims, a grin in his tone. Yuzu narrows her eyes and ducks under another swipe towards herself, swiftly lifting up her zanpakutō. It slices into the Hollow's arm, making him hiss in pain.

"Little bitch!" Yuzu jumps back, dodging another attack.

"Yuzu! Go for the mask! Remember!" Rukia calls out from where she sat on the road.

Yuzu leaps into the air, twisting her body as she unsheathes her zanpakutō. She holds it with both hands above her head.

"Tormenting children isn't nice!" Yuzu shouts, swinging her blade down. Dozens of small Hollows appear before her attack, stopping it from hitting the original Hollow by taking the blow.

She leaps back before the Hollows could swarm her too much. She lands on the ground in a crouch, zanpakutō brandished to the side.

"That brat is the one who ruined my life and got me killed. I can torment him all I like!" The Hollow states, crouched low to the ground. Yuzu narrows her eyes with a scowl before an alarm bell rings in her head. She jumps back and avoids the sudden splatter of what looks like leeches to her. A few of the leeches attach to her leg before she could jump back fast enough.

"A few leeches aren't going to stop me, meanie!" Yuzu forces one of the leeches off.

"Those aren't just leeches, girl..." Yuzu arches her back from the pain when the remaining two leeches explode. "They come from my little Targets..."

"YUZU!"

The strawberry blonde chokes down a scream, collapsing to her knees. She glances down and sees the blood pouring out of her leg and side, where the leeches had attached to herself. She looks back up and glares at the Hollow as it laughs.

"Like... like I said... Leeches aren't going to stop me... you asshole!" Yuzu pushes through the pain to stand back up, both hands gripping the handle of her maguro bōchō.

"Yuzu! Are you alright?!" Yuzu doesn't take her eyes off of the Hollow. She shuffles her feet, making sure they are firmly planted.

"Fine. Protect Chad-san 'nd the bird," She speaks tightly.

"I'll give you enough time to run."

"Yu-san. Find what the Targets listen to," Saibami whispers against Yuzu's ear. Her ghostly hands brush against Yuzu's temples before resting on her shoulders. Yuzu narrows her eyes and nods her head.

She braces her legs and charges forward.

Hey! I hope you all like the new, and incredibly long awaited chapter! I am honestly and truly sorry. But, it's out now!

Though, I may or may not rewrite this story. I wrote this before I started actually watching the anime (lmao, I know) and a I got further into the anime, I realized that this was a bit... off. Especially to what I had intended for this story.

I probably won't rewrite it. I'll probably just change things from here on out if it's something minor, but by the next chapter I will have a definitive answer.

Anyways, for those who are actually still reading this and are waiting for more, thank you all so much! I hope you all are enjoying this story so far! Bye.
