Just before, McGarrett's home, 7 :34 PM, Honolulu, O'ahu, Hawaii

Catherine was just come back to the market when she heard someone was knocked at the door. She opened the door and was surprised when she saw who it was.

-"Cameron! She exclaimed. Hey!"

-"Hey, Catherine! I'm on Hawaii for a few days, so I thought it will be a good idea to see you, even just a few minutes" declared the man.

-"You are right! You want to come in?" she asked.

-"No, I'm not staying" he refused.

Who is Cameron? Umm… He was Catherine's colleague when she was at the agency in a few missions. They were friends, just friends, even if Cameron tried to seduce her. As she said to Steve when they were in Kaho'olawe, when they searched Asad Al-Laja, Catherine saw some men, but they never got closer as much as to become more than friends. Because she had someone in her mind.

Cameron and Catherine continued to talk a few minutes before Steve arrived. When she heard the car, Catherine smiled, happy to know that her fiancé came back home, but when Steve saw the guest, his eyebrows frowned. He greeted Cath and Cameron before entered in the house.

-"I'll let you, announced Cameron. It was good to see you."

-"Yeah", she replied and the man left the property before she entered in the house.

-"Did you have some fun with him?" Steve asked but Catherine didn't notice the irony.

-"It was good to see him, she replied. Why?"

-"This guy devoured you with the eyes, Cath!"

-"What? What are saying, Steve?"

-"Catherine, he wanted to pounce on you! You maybe haven't seen, but I did."

-"Steve, you don't know what you are saying."

-"I know it, Cath. Thank you."

-"What you are thinking hurts me, Steve. How can you think I'm unfaithful? We are engaged! Cameron gave to us his congrulations because I've said to him I'm gonna marry the love of my life! That's hurt me, Steve, because it's mean you don't trust as much as I trust you." She cried.

While Catherine was talking, Steve calmed down and he did a step forward to Catherine.

-"Don't approach" she put her hand to push him aside and he stopped dead while fixing herv with his blue eyes.

-"Do you still want some kids, Cath?" he asked suddenly.

-"Yeah…Why?"

-"Because you don't like so sure" he noticed.

-"I am. Oh… I understand better."

-"What are you understanding better?"

-"You're angry against me because I refused to make the examinations for the artificial insemination."

-"The problem isn't you refused, but you hadn't give me a reason" he declared.

-"You want to know the reason?" she asked and Steve nodded.

-"I'm pregnant, sailor. I've learned that yesterday and I had a good presentiment before. That's the reason and the doctor told me it was true and that's the baby look like in good health."

-"I'm sorry" said Steve seriously.

-"That's forget, sailor" she smiled before he kissed her.

-"Thank you" he whispered, touched by all the feelings.

He couldn't realize the good news, but he was so happy! They going to have their own baby, together.

-"You're welcome, even if I hadn't do all the job" Catherine laughed slowly.

A smile appeared on Steve's face while he put again his lips on Cath's ones, very happy.

Six months later, McGarrett's home, 2:00 AM, Honolulu, O'ahu, Hawaii

Catherine couldn't close her eyes. Yes, she had two quarters of pregnancy now done, but her worry about how they gonna receive this child was always in her mind, and a big question. All her body became taut, and that's make a kick of the baby, and a second one. When she put her hand on her baby bump, she noticed Steve's hand were already here, like every night since he learnt that's they gonna have a baby. In the silence of the bedroom, Catherine heard the little snoring of her fiancé and his breathing on her shoulder. Right now, she wanted to be him because the baby refused to calm down.

They hadn't chosen the name of their baby yet, because they wanted to wait the birth to know if it was a little girl or a little boy.

More and more this day arrived, Catherine realized how much have a child was a big step forward for them, more with the marriage they were preparing.

The tomorrow morning, McGarrett's home, 8:00 AM, Honolulu, O'ahu, Hawaii

Steve was waking up by kicks of the baby on his hand. He smiled, even if sometimes, he asked himself if this baby was really real, because he was for him a so big present it could be possible he was dreaming.

Later in the day, he was reading on the beach when Catherine arrived and sat down on his knees.

-"When we are gonna be married?" She asked suddenly.

-"You are in hurry?" Steve smiled.

-"Yeah, I am, she smiled while putting her hands on his chest. I want to have the same name as you and our baby."

Steve knew a big smile were on his face because what Catherine had say touched him.

-"For you, marriage is done of the couple love each other and if they want to do it. The love has to be present and mutual" Steve remembered what Catherine have said when she were in Burma.

-"You remember?" she asked, surprised.

-"Of course, I remember. I was so happy to hear you."

-"You know, I was talking about us? Because I've never imagined to marry someone else than you."

-"I love you, Cath" whispered Steve after kissed her.

-"I love you too, sailor", she replied

Steve know, now. And they are going to receive their baby in a few months. I'm so impatient to share that with you!
