Hot on a lead, Uraraka and her group traced it to the Kama-Tahl church to find the root of all that has been happening for the past hour. But as they enter the church for answers, they find themselves inside the domain of a curse. Is this a simple curse that has grown to that point? Or is it something more sinister?
Guest 1: You'll see a bit ;). And I'll see to it that this gamble pays off!
Guest 2: Everyone has their own interpretations, and I have my own. Let's see how far I can use it.
Wizardwolf 1020: Sounds like a thing he'd do. I'll see if I can implement something like this in future arcs.
For'Sleep 3rd: I'll be honest, I don't really understand the appeal of reincarnation fics. Though I hope you enjoy this one all the same!
Chapter 4: Domain
"Gojo, where are we?" Midoriya asked as the three of his group stood in this liminal space similar to an Escher painting.
"It seems whoever we're facing has opened up their domain. Brought it out with Jujutsu." Gojo's mouth appeared once again to explain. "I never thought I'd see something like this so early."
"And what does 'opening your domain' mean?" Aizawa asked.
"It's the most powerful tool in a Jujutsu sorcerer's arsenal," Gojo explained. "Everything capable of Jujutsu has an innate domain, shaped by a person's mind. Uraraka, do you remember the starry space you kept finding yourself in before I awoke?"
"Uhh, yeah. My dream space, right? Where I keep seeing you sleeping?" Uraraka clarified.
"Yes. That is my domain. As sorcerers, we can bring our domains into a physical space using Jujutsu." Gojo explained. "This is a technique known as a Domain Expansion."
"A Domain Expansion…" Midoriya mentally noted.
"So it trapped us inside this liminal space." Aizawa walked towards a ledge and looked at the strange environment that had encased them. "What purpose does this serve?"
"Well, judging by the fact that it used the church's basement as a barrier, and the fact that there is no cursed technique embedded into it, I say this is merely a means to hinder us." Gojo stated. "Whatever cast this domain, it wants to hide something. So it's using the liminal space of the Domain to slow us down."
Uraraka was nervous, but she felt like she had to concentrate. Adjusting her blindfold, she uses the Six Eyes to try and find any leads to the Pro Heroes that were lost.
Sure enough, the energy signatures of four different Quirk Factors can be spotted with the Six Eyes, all spread out throughout the Domain.
"I can still see their Quirk Factors, even inside the domain." Uraraka stated. "They're moving, and from the flashes from the Quirk Factors means they're fighting."
"Kamui Woods. Death Arms. Rock Lock. Mt. Lady." Midoriya listed all of the missing heroes in worry. "It's good that they're still fighting, but we need to hurry."
"I agree with bushy hair." Gojo stated, causing Midoriya to slightly jump at the nickname. "If something can open up a domain, even if it's incomplete like this one, then it is already a Special Grade."
"Then let's hurry. Uraraka, you can see where the heroes are. Take the lead." Aizawa stated.
"Okay." Uraraka nodded.
Bakugo tapped his foot furiously, staring at that damn energy beacon that had started this damn thing. Deku and Pink Cheeks were out there all Mission Impossible style and it's really pissing him off.
"Look, if you got such a hate boner about the situation, it's not that hard to tell us." Jiro stated, seeing his strange behavior.
"Shut up!" Bakugo yelled. "Something about Pink Cheeks' new sorcery is really pissing me off."
"Hey, man. Not cool. It's not like she wanted this to happen." Kirishima stated. "Besides, her resolve in wanting to help us is just manly!"
In fairness, Bakugo's feelings on the matter were more split on the matter than he realizes. While he was pissed off at the fact that the girl had taken the matter as seriously as she did, like her way of saying she was superior to him, it was this same seriousness and resolve that had made him respect her since the Sports Festival.
The girl had guts, he had to admit. Being able to stand up against him for the sake of more opportunities for her family is more than a lot of the other extras he fought during the event.
It really messed with him how much he hated her going off to investigate the beacon with Deku.
"You're worried about them, aren't you?" Iida suddenly appeared behind the blonde, slightly startling him.
"Where the hell did you come from, four-eyes?!" Bakugo yelled out. "This is none of your damn business, you hear me?!"
"Of course…" Jiro facepalmed at the response. "Would it kill you to be quiet for now? It's stressful enough not knowing why our Quirks have been muted by Jujutsu."
"Leave me out of this sorcery shit, then! I'm heading to bed." Bakugo growled before storming out of the infirmary with frustration.
As the blonde hairball of anger issues left the room, the scene felt silent once more. Kirishima stared at his hand, considering the implications of the situation.
"Iida, how do you feel?" Kirishima asked.
"What do you mean?" Iida asked.
"Well, you do put a lot of pride in the Quirk passed down through your family. I just thought… y'know." Kirishima stated.
"Yeah. Don't get us wrong, we're also pretty bummed about what happened to our Quirks, but like Kirishima said. A lot of your reason for becoming a hero comes from your family, right?" Jiro adds, causing Iida to sit down and sigh.
"I appreciate the sentiments, you two." Iida bowed robotically. "Honestly, I still feel torn about this situation. It's true that I put a lot of pride in my family's Quirk, and that I'm uncertain if this is a permanent thing."
Iida then turns his head to the beacon once again, mind drifting to his two friends currently out there finding out what is going on.
"But I've already gone through this before. Midoriya and Uraraka helped me get out of it." Iida stated, reminding himself about his encounter with the Hero Killer, Stain. "And seeing the two of them work together to give us some sort of answers and help in whatever they can, I feel honored to have them to rely upon."
"Yeah, they're amazing, aren't they?" Kirishima shares his opinion on the duo. "I have no doubt they'll support you, that's how manly they are."
"And hey, since we're in the same boat as you, might as well help you out as well." Jiro added, smiling a bit as she gave some reassurance.
Iida smiles at the assurance. He doesn't say anything after that, letting his visible smile say thanks on its own.
At a quick pace, Uraraka leads Midoriya and Aizawa through the confusing layout of the Innate Domain they have been trapped in. Despite the multiple changes in direction due to the illusory nature of the Domain, the girl was sure that the Six Eyes were leading her to the Quirk Factor of their first missing hero.
"Must be faster, must go beyond." Uraraka muttered to herself, keeping her head in the game.
"Wow, a mantra. Good idea. I'll chant with you." Gojo then proceeded to chant with the girl.
"Must be faster, must go beyond. Must go faster, must go beyond."
Soon, the three would find themselves turning a corner and into a hallway with grotesque-looking curses flooding it.
"Grade Three cursed spirits. Nothing you can't handle, huh Uraraka?" Gojo stated, as Uraraka ignited her fist with cursed energy.
"I hope so." Uraraka stated.
Suddenly, the Six Eyes detects another flash of a Quirk Factor, and Uraraka gasps. Straight ahead. She peers through the horde of cursed spirits in front of her, and slowly, she could make up one of the heroes fighting up ahead.
Death Arms was struggling to keep the small cursed spirits off his body, but given the fact that he wasn't doing any damage to them with every punch and shove he did, the cursed spirits just kept trying to claw at him.
"Death Arms?" Uraraka gasped.
"Hey, yeah! Death Arms is over there!" Midoroya yelled out.
"Don't waste time then! Find a way through as fast as possible!" Aizawa yelled out.
A cursed spirit jumped at the group and tried to swipe at them, but Uraraka quickly grabbed it and threw it over the railings, sending it falling through the infinite space of the domain.
"Yeah, I don't think I can deal with this fast enough." Uraraka stated. "And Blue strains my head a lot, so I'm gonna save it for something powerful."
"So we have to get through without fighting!" Midoriya held out his arms, pointing his gauntlets into the hall of cursed spirits. "Blackwhip!"
Two of Blackwhip's tendrils shot out from the boy's gauntlets, attaching to the walls of the hallway and forming tensile strength in them.
"Hold on!" Midoriya yelled out, prompting his two companions to hold him tight.
The green-haired boy pulls the Blackwhip, causing the three of them to be propelled over the horde of cursed spirits.
"This will be a rough landing! Brace yourselves!"
The three of them land painfully after being propelled through the hallway. After quickly recovering, Aizawa and Midoriya quickly turn and use their extendable appendages on the supports above them supporting the ceiling.
"Now!"
The supports quickly broke, making the roof and ceiling of the hallway collapse and cutting off the cursed spirits from swarming them.
Uraraka, on the other hand, quickly sprinted towards Death Arms and the cursed spirits surrounding him while channeling her cursed energy through her body.
"Remember to control your cursed energy as you strike, Uraraka." Gojo stated internally. "When using cursed energy through your hands, controlling its output when you strike is important. Your performance at the dorms was good, but a lot of your cursed energy fluctuates like a fountain. Make it more focused like a hose."
"Right!" Uraraka ignited her hand with cursed energy.
A humanoid cursed spirit approaches Death Arms from behind, threatening to use its large, grotesque mouth to rip and tear into the hero.
The girl quickly grabbed the cursed spirit by the shoulder, and brought it over hers with a move she had learned during her first internship.
"Gunhead Martial Arts!"
Uraraka threw the cursed spirit onto the floor with a powerful shoulder throw, letting it crash with a powerful thud. Wishing to follow up, she ignites her fist with cursed energy while remembering what Gojo had told her.
"Control it more efficiently. Focused, like a hose." Uraraka brought her cursed energy-enhanced fist upwards. "Hah!"
The enhanced fist was brought down onto the humanoid cursed spirit, connecting powerfully into the spirit's humanoid torso. Pulling her fist back after that attack, all that was left was the cursed spirit's disintegrating body and some purple gunk stuck on the girl's hand.
"O-Oh, ew!" Uraraka quickly shook off the cursed spirit residue from her hand.
"I see some progress if that makes you feel better." Gojo stated. "You practically ruptured the thing with your cursed energy control."
"Huh? What are you doing here, kid?!" Death Arms exclaimed in confusion.
"She's with us." Aizawa walked into the scene, with Midoriya following behind.
"Eraserhead? What are you doing bringing hero students into this situation?" Death Arms turned his head in confusion.
"We're here to get you out of this place." Aizawa stated, before turning to Uraraka. "Whether you like it or not, this hero student is the key to that."
"W-What do you mean?! She just killed someone right here!" Death Arms pointed at the still-disintegrating body of a cursed technique.
"That thing is an evil spirit born from emotions. It's not a villain, it's merely a byproduct of one." Aizawa elaborated. "And unfortunately, we aren't able to kill these things. So our biggest objective is to find whoever casted this liminal space and defeat them."
"But we have to find the other heroes trapped in this liminal space. You came here with Kamui Woods and Rock Lock, right?" Uraraka asked.
"Err, yeah. But it seems that whatever this place is is trying to keep us separated." Death Arms looked around. "And with these… spirits around, it's really a hassle to move around."
"Well, luckily we're here. We'll find the others and get out of here." Midoriya stated hopefully. "And maybe we can find out what's causing all of this."
Another flash of a Quirk Factor was sensed by the Six Eyes. With how distinct and clear it felt, Uraraka knew that it was nearby. She turns to a nearby window and sees Rock Lock on the other side of a large gap trying to escape a car-sized, feathered cursed spirit with deer antlers.
"Is that Rock Lock?" Uraraka gasped.
"Don't hesitate!" Aizawa jumped onto the windowsill, holding his capture weapon at the ready. "Move decisively!"
The underground hero uses his capture weapon to swing across the gap towards the fight. Midoriya did the same using Blackwhip, making sure to hold onto Uraraka to bring her along.
"Are you comfortable? Swinging around can put a lot of pressure on the body." Midoriya asked.
"I think I'll be fine." Uraraka nodded. "Let's go."
"Okay." Midoriya leads Uraraka out of the window and swings towards the fight.
Rock Lock jumps above a gap between rooftops trying to escape the cursed spirit. He turns around and faces the thing as it charges towards him, taking out his shield.
"Lock Down." Rock Lock muttered as he used his Quirk on his shield.
The shield suspends itself in the air, and the cursed spirit crashes into it completely. This stops the cursed spirit in its wake and stuns it.
"Damn it." Rock Lock grabs his shield, staring at the large dent left by the cursed spirit. "I have to replace this later. But first, I need to get out of here."
The lock hero turns around to continue his escape, but before he could run any further, the cursed spirit stands up once more and attempts to use its large limbs to crush the hero under.
"Shit!"
Rock Lock quickly rolled out of the way as the cursed spirit brought its fist down. Recovering from the sudden movement, the lock hero turns to the cursed spirit, noticing that it wasn't unfazed by the painful crash it endured.
"Nothing seems to faze this thing. What the hell is it?!" Rock Lock yelled out in frustration before readying himself for a fight.
"Takagi!" Aizawa yelled out from above.
The familiar capture weapon wraps around the cursed spirit, restraining its large grotesque arms from attacking even more. The homeroom teacher lands near the lock hero and tightens his hold on the cursed spirit.
"A-Aizawa?! What are you doing here?!" Rock Lock asked in confusion.
"We're here to get you out." Aizawa narrowed his eyes. "You two, now!"
Midoriya and Uraraka land next to the cursed spirit. The latter ignited her fist with cursed energy, and the other in Full Cowl.
"Cursed energy!" Uraraka threw out a punch.
"Shoot style!" Midoriya twisted his leg for a kick.
The dual impact strikes, rupturing the defenseless cursed spirit and sending it flying into the large gap. The four of them watch the thing fall, and the two hero students sighed with relief.
"Well, that was quick." Midoriya stated.
"Hehe… yeah." Uraraka giggled to herself.
"So, mind telling me what's going on here?" Rock Lock turned to Aizawa.
"You notice how you can't damage these things?" Aizawa asked bluntly. "To put it short, that girl can. We're here to support her."
"What do you mean?" Rock Lock asked in confusion.
"Exorcism, I'm not gonna elaborate." Aizawa scowled, not wishing to burden himself with explaining the situation. "Midoriya, let's regroup with Death Arms."
"Right." Midoriya nodded.
Uraraka holds onto Midoriya as he uses Blackwhip to swing back to where they were, with Aizawa and Rock Lock following behind.
Another pulse of cursed energy was detected by the Six Eyes. And another. And another. The cursed energy Uraraka is detecting with the Six Eyes begins to pulse at a slow and methodical rhythm. It almost seems like…
"A heartbeat…?" Uraraka asked with worry.
"Do you see something, Uraraka-san?" Midoriya asked.
"Yeah… I think I feel pulses of cursed energy somewhere. Almost like a heartbeat." Uraraka stated.
"Well, that's not good." Gojo's mouth appeared once again. "With the heartbeat, I have to assume it might be some sort of cursed womb."
"Cursed womb?" Uraraka asked.
"A special kind of cursed spirit but inside a womb of sorts. From what that infers, it is in some sort of development stage, and with time, it will emerge a new cursed spirit." Gojo stated. "Cursed spirits tend to give birth to Special Grade cursed spirits, and the ones you have been fighting will look like fodder compared to those."
"A cursed womb in the process of birthing something powerful." Midoriya muttered to himself. "It looks like we're in a race against time now. To find the Pro Heroes trapped inside the Domain and to find the cursed womb before it can give birth to a cursed spirit."
"Right-eo, broccoli." Gojo exclaimed, making Midoriya uncomfortable with the sudden nickname. "Now go tell your teacher. Stop the damn thing from being born."
"Okay." Midoriya nodded, before turning to Uraraka. "Are you still sure you're ready for this?"
"I guess." Uraraka gulped a bit. Midoriya notices this, even as he was swinging through the liminal space of the Domain.
"Don't worry, I'll fight with you." Midoriya reassured. "It is part of our hero training to work together, right?"
"Yeah, it is." Uraraka stated.
"Then we will. You may be the only one who can exorcize these cursed spirits, but I'll do what I can to help you." Midoriya smiled. "Is that okay?"
"Yeah." Uraraka nodded a bit more hopefully.
The group manages to return to where Death Arms was, and the two missing heroes share a small reunion with each other.
"This place is fucking confusing." Rock Lock sighed in frustration. "I gotta get home, who knows what my family is thinking right now."
"Just hang tight. We'll get you out of here." Aizawa turns to Uraraka. "Do you see where Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady are?"
Uraraka looks around using the Six Eyes, looking once again for the energy signatures of Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady's Quirk Factors. She quickly manages to find them, and there are two things to take note of.
One, the good news, they were closer in proximity than she expected. Probably close to encountering each other as well.
And two, the bad news, the pulsing of cursed energy from the cursed womb was also near them. If a cursed spirit managed to emerge from that thing, it would go after them first.
Uraraka began to sweat at the realization, something that didn't escape Aizawa's observant gaze.
"Hmm? What's wrong?" Aizawa asked.
"We need to move…" Uraraka breathed out. "Now."
The brunette girl began to sprint ahead once again, confusing the group about her sudden movement.
"What is she…" Death Arms asked in confusion.
"The Six Eyes must've detected something." Midoriya realizes. "I think either Kamui Woods or Mt. Lady are in danger."
"Then what are you waiting for?!" Aizawa quickly sprinted as well. "Follow her!"
This came without question, and the heroes began to make their way through the liminal confines of the Innate Domain, with the current bearer of the Six Eyes taking charge.
"Lacquered Chain Prison!"
Try as whatever it was might, Kamui Wood's signature move is known for its range. His wooden roots shot across the liminal space and grabbed Mt. Lady from her capture.
The… thing made of a dark, shadow-like substance tried to pull its prey away from the person rescuing her, but to no avail. The No. 7 Pro Hero successfully pulled his compatriot away from the creature, and it retreated away into the darkness.
"What the hell was that?" Kamui Woods was baffled at what he had seen. He would've asked that a few moments ago if he hadn't seen a fellow Pro Hero being dragged along by it.
"Ghh…" Mt. Lady stirred awake, and was surprised to see Kamui Woods by her side. "Woods? Did you find a way out?"
"No, Takeyama. I haven't." Kamui Woods sighed. "And now you're stuck here as well."
"Damn it. I was dragged here, wasn't I?" Mt. Lady sat up before looking around at the strange environment she found herself in. "And where is 'here' anyway?"
"I don't know. I've been running around for the past 30 minutes and haven't found anything relating to an exit." Kamui Woods explained. "A villain may be creating this liminal space, there's no way something like this has existed just under the city."
"We should move then. Moving around still feels better than being attacked by whatever that was." Mt. Lady grumbled to herself.
"You should rest for a bit. There's no telling what damage you have taken." Kamui Woods stated.
That was when Mt. Lady tilted her head, as if seeing something out of the corner of her vision. Kamui Woods turned around as well to see something else that was occupying the room.
Two large sacs were seen in the corner of the room, each the size of large cows. Each of the sacs were covered in a thick shadow substance, and were translucent enough to the point where they could barely see what was being incubated inside.
It was also important to note that these sacs were in the shape of wombs, making its appearance all the more unnerving for the two heroes.
"Ugh, what is that?" Mt. Lady grimaced at the creepy appearance of the two sacs.
"I don't know… they look like eggs… or wombs." Kamui Woods muttered. "This is like the horror movies I used to watch."
"So… what do we do about it?" Mt. Lady asked.
"I say we walk away, wait for another hero to identify what it is." Kamui Woods stated. "It's still too dangerous to make any rash decisions."
The sound of footsteps was heard nearby, and Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady turn to see their fellow Pro Heroes entering the room. Rock Lock and Death Arms. Along with underground hero Eraser Head and… two hero students?
"Uhh…" Mt. Lady had her mouth agape at the sight of the hero students.
"What is this?!" Kamui Woods was baffled at the sight.
"Glad you're alright, you two." Death Arms sighed with relief.
"Good, we're all together." Aizawa stated. "Now how do you think we can get out of this Domain?"
"Wait, the cursed womb will produce a powerful cursed spirit, right?" Midoriya asked. "We should deal with it before it can happen."
"Right. We cannot let this thing be born." Uraraka stated.
Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods slide beside Rock Lock with confusion.
"Hey, can you tell us what's going on?" Mt. Lady whispered.
"As if I know at all. They're all talking about cursed spirits and exorcisms." Rock Lock stated.
"But Eraser Head seems to be going along with them." Kamui Woods crossed his arms. "The man's as serious as they come, so I don't think we should take this lightly."
Uraraka steps forward and observes the cursed womb with her Six Eyes, trying to figure out what the cursed womb was doing
"So this cursed womb… it's energy seems to be the same one creating this Domain, right?" Uraraka pondered.
"Yup, so it must be this thing that's using its Domain to trap us here." Gojo stated from within her mind.
"Do you see something, Uraraka-san?" Midoriya asked.
"Yeah, the cursed energy signature seems to be the same as the Domain." Uraraka stated as she ignited her fist with cursed energy. "If we want to get out of here, we have to exorcize this cursed womb."
"Okay." Midoriya stepped forward as well.
Aizawa soon followed, grabbing hold of his capture weapon in preparation for a fight.
"Everyone! I want everyone's efforts to be directed to Uraraka's support!" Aizawa yelled out. "Only she has the capability to exorcize this threat and get us the answers to everything! As Pro Hero Eraserhead, that is my request!"
"Alright…" Rock Lock stood firm as well.
"On your lead!" Kamui Woods prepared himself as well.
Looking at the resolve from their fellow Pro Heroes, Death Arms and Mt. Lady decided to move their doubts aside and stand by them as well.
Suddenly, Uraraka felt her own cursed energy begin to fluctuate. She looks down at her hands and notices that the cursed energy is beginning to flicker, like when the power to a house is starting to get cut off.
W-What? Why is my energy being… Am I trembling?
"Yo, keep your head in the game, Uraraka," Gojo noticed what was going on.
Midoriya also quickly notices this lapse of doubt from the corner of his eye. He slightly turns around with worry.
"Uraraka-san?" Midoriya called out.
Come on! Move! Just please make a move! Stop trembling!
Despite her thoughts trying hard to make her do something, Uraraka still found herself trembling with a paralyzing fear, unable to start the engagement.
The cursed womb was emitting a lot of energy, like an overwhelming evil that the girl still can't process. It was suffocating, it was like she was drowning in the evil that emanated from the womb.
"Come on, girl. You gotta deal with it before it hatches." Gojo stated
Why am I not moving?! If I stall any longer, something powerful is gonna be born!
"Come on, what's the holdup?" Mt. Lady grit her teeth in frustration.
"Uraraka, if you don't think you can do it, switch right now." Aizawa stated.
Come on! Move! Exorcise the cursed womb! this is what you signed up for as…
Uraraka brought her hand up once more, igniting her fist cursed energy once more.
"A Jujutsu sorcerer!" Uraraka declared.
One of the sacs of the cursed womb is now open, leaking out a shadow like substance. Uraraka hadn't noticed this during her small breakdown, but it's open. It's open.
Both Uraraka and Midoriya felt an overwhelming presence behind them. They knew this was the cursed spirit that was born from the cursed womb. The overwhelming evil began to suffocate and freeze them in place.
"What in the-?!" Death Arms exclaimed.
"That is…" Rock Lock gasped.
It was clear that this thing was more powerful than anything they have faced before purely by its own maliciousness. The hero students can't move under this overwhelming presence.
It's a cursed spirit... It's faster than I expected…
Uraraka closes her right hand into a fist, trying to enhance it with cursed energy.
I have to… I have to exorcize it!
The girl attempts to spin around for an attack enhanced with cursed energy, but a yellow flash quickly interrupts her, completely severing her right hand from her body.
The severed hand lands silently in the center of the room. Uraraka begins to black out as the blood begins to bleed violently out of the stump where her hand used to be.
Midoriya makes his move.
"Blackwhip!"
A mass of black energy tendrils filled the room and slammed into the cursed spirit, wrapping it into a tight bind. The Blackwhip also grabs Uraraka and pulls her away from the cursed spirit.
Midoriya holds the girl tightly, using the Blackwhip to tie the stump to stop the bleeding.
"It was too fast, we didn't expect such speed from it." Midoriya turned to the cursed spirit, who had already broken out of the ties of Blackwhip.
Eraserhead and Kamui Woods have already begun to engage the cursed spirit in combat, allowing the boy to see what it looked like.
It was a tall, humanoid figure with pale white skin. Its sharp fingertips and toe tips have a matte black color and its bald head has four black stripes, the two centermost ones have two eyes each meaning four eyes in total. It has an unnervingly large smile, and its crotch is covered by a long loincloth of sorts.
"Uraraka couldn't react fast enough against this thing. It has to be the same as 35% Full Cowl." Midoroya grit his teeth.
As the two heroes try to capture the cursed spirit, it uses yellow energy blasts to defend itself, destroying Kamui Woods' roots and shaving off parts of Aizawa's capture weapon.
"We have to stall it. We have to buy more time!" Midoriya charged his Full Cowl up to 40%.
But before the boy could charge off to attack, he felt a finger poke him in the cheek. Midoriya looks down and sees Uraraka poking at him with her right hand, the same one that was severed moments ago.
"Did I scare ya?"
Wait, she has white hair now. This was Gojo in the forefront once again.
"Aw, I'm touched, kid." Gojo sat up, taking a look at the now regenerated hand on his right. "Don't worry, you don't have to fight anymore."
Gojo stood up and took a look at the cursed spirit that had emerged from the cursed womb, with its yellow energy blasts lighting up the dark room.
"Hehe, how cute." Gojo couldn't help but clap at the cursed spirit. "You managed to hurt my vessel, good job."
"Gojo, are you sure you can take that thing head-on?" Midoriya asked.
"Yup, I can." Gojo looked behind and stuck out his tongue playfully. "Don't you worry about me. After all, I'm the strongest."
Gojo then teleports in front of the cursed spirit as it throws out a punch, causing the attack to be stopped an inch away from the sorcerer. The Pro Heroes gasp at the sight.
"What in the-" Death Arms exclaimed.
"He just blocked it!" Mt. Lady exclaimed.
"Adorable. Now my turn." Gojo chuckled before pointing a finger at the cursed spirit. "Cursed Technique Reversal: Red!"
A powerful red blast is shot directly at the cursed spirit, sending it crashing into the wall on the other side of the room. Its dismembered limbs landed next to it and began to disintegrate.
"S-Such power." Rock Lock gasped.
"What is this?!" Kamui Woods asked.
"Gojo, we shouldn't play around." Aizawa quickly stated. "Remember that we have a bit of a time constraint."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. I just needed at least one moment to show off." Gojo stated before knocking his forehead playfully. "Uraraka~ you watching?"
"What is she doing?" Mt. Lady deadpanned. "And why does he sound like a man?"
"A veeeery long story." Midoriya scratched his head.
"We'll discuss it later." Aizawa stated blankly.
"Eh, don't worry. I just want my vessel to pay attention to the heights she can reach." Gojo turned his back towards the cursed spirit.
The cursed spirit lets out another yellow energy blast that shoots across the room, but it still dissipates inches away from its target. Gojo looks back in annoyance.
"Just wait your turn buddy." Gojo sighed before turning to the other Pro Heroes. "Just hold onto me, I'll handle it."
"Uh… what?" Rock Lock tilted his head a bit.
"Just trust me~" Gojo lets out a little singsong.
With a few complaints, Midoriya and the Pro Heroes went on to make contact with Gojo to hold on. Once that happens, the cursed spirit begins to charge up another yellow energy blast in his hands.
"Now, Uraraka. One of the more effective ways to deal with a Domain is to expand your own." Gojo stated as he slowly brought his hand over the blindfold that covered the Six Eyes.
The cursed spirit lets out another wave of its yellow energy, ripping through the ground as it makes its way towards the group.
"It's coming!" Rock Lock yelled out.
"Do something!" Death Arms yelled out as well.
Gojo takes off his blindfold, and both Midoriya and Aizawa feel a shift in the air.
"While there can be other factors, it's usually the most refined Domain that will be dominant. Let's see if this curse can take what I'm capable of…"
The incarnated sorcerer opens the Six Eyes in all its otherworldly brilliance, channels his cursed energy, and crosses his fingers.
"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void."
