She groaned and put her face into her hands once again. "Well... I forgot about that..."
Miroku stopped chuckling to speak seriously, for once. "There is nothing to be ashamed of. I was just caught off guard. Our sweet Higurashi Kagome and shy Taisho Inuyasha. Who knew?" He shrugged his shoulders as he ignored his friend's glares.
Sango shook her head as she took Kagome's hand and dragged her away from her idiot husband. They went into the kitchen for another cup of coffee and as Sango handed Kagome her mug, she spoke.
"It really isn't that big a deal, you know. It's not like we're going to judge you. Miroku is just..."
Kagome finished for her. "An idiotic pervert?"
Sango chuckled as she sipped on her own coffee. "Yup! And I love him no matter what." She looked at her seriously. "So um, are you happy?"
Kagome's smile was bright as she nodded. "I am. Happier than I've ever been before."
Sango smiled back as they continued to drink their coffee and gossip like the best friends they are.
Miroku put a hand to the irate hanyou's shoulder and looked him in his narrowed eyes. "I'm sorry for laughing, Inuyasha. There really isn't anything to be embarrassed about. We're your friends." He dropped his hand and shrugged his shoulders. "So what if you and Kagome are freaks in the sheets?"
Inuyasha growled as he blushed furiously. "Alright. Enough of that shit now..."
Miroku only smiled and continued. "You know, not too long ago, you were worried about what she would say or do once she were to see, you know..." He didn't use specific terminology because of how closed off his friend can be. "You shouldn't be embarrassed in front of us. I'm happy for you, my friend." He smirked as he finished. "And a healthy sex life is key to a long and thriving relationship."
Inuyasha only grinned back as he chuckled himself. This man may be obnoxious and a bit crude at times, but he isn't wrong in certain instances, and he is also a really good friend.
A few hours later, their friends left with well wishes and Inuyasha took Kagome to her old apartment to pick up anything she had left, before her lease is up the following day.
They caged a meowing and clawing Buyo and grabbed the few things she had left in the bedroom, including Buyo's toys and his own fluffy bed.
Then they went home together, allowing Buyo free rein to check out his new surroundings, before having dinner and laying in bed together.
Kagome snuggled up to her boyfriend's chest and sighed happily. She looked up into his golden eyes and accepted his kiss with ease. When he pulled away, she smiled brightly at him.
"I can't believe I'm finally fully moved in with you."
Inuyasha smirked as he nuzzled her cheek lovingly. "Keh. You're right where ya need to be."
Kagome smiled as she cuddled in deeper, allowing her eyes to flutter shut and sleep to take her mere seconds later. Her final thought was, 'I'm finally moved in with this wonderful man.'
